Networks for personal workstations
I believe that all of the present Xerox workstations support only the
old "Experimental" (3Mbaud) Ethernet.  Apollos, on the other hand, use
a 10Mbaud (I think) ring network, very similar to PR1ME's ring net.
They have their own protocols, incompatible with anyone else (of
course), and as far as I know there are no plans for gateways or
internetworking support.
