Several years ago an RX02 floppy driver surfaced from here (CWRU)
which was written by Bill Shannon (decvax!shannon). The driver was
written on a system with DSD floppies (DEC compatable!). We have found
some hardware "features" which make the software not work correctly with
actual DEC drives. For anyone interested, we have the driver (works
for both versions now), as well as formatting programs and boot code.
DSD drives can also write the sector addresses as well as data, useful
with strange media (?!).
