Being one of Dennis Ritchie's close circle of friends,
I take James Jones's comments to heart.  I want to get
all those tedious non-programmers off Unix so I can
get back to work.  I don't want Unix to do anything n
particular except let me program, and the sooner the rest
of you give up because you can't get the FEATURES you
want, the happier I'll be.
sigh. i'll shut up now
