11/70 Loads
>From BREITLING@USC-ISID Tue Sep 15 14:02:00 1981

All you folks out there with 11/70s running UNIX.  Could i get some info about
performance of a 11/70 running version 6 UNIX.  How many terminals can it
support and still have good responce times?  Does the NCP software have a
big efect on system resources and terminal loads?  Can you improve things
by running a more current version of hte UNIX software (one of Berkeley's
newer versions for example)?  What is the comparison in terminal load with a
VAX 11/780?  Does anyone know of any efforts to get UNIX to run on a larger
DEC mainframe (a 20 for example)?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.
