overlay linker

    Does anyone out there know of a disk overlay linker for UNIX?

    I am also interested in hearing about the virtual overlay
system that requires a differnt kernel.  If I remember correctly,
this was supposed to be a Berkley product?

    We are currently running V7 with an overlayed kernel on a
PDP-11/40 and it would be nice to be able to run a few larger
programs using the disk memory or the mapping registers.
