       UNIX is a philosophy of computing -- not just an OS.

       While there are a number of useful functions that
existing big machine interactive executives provide (such as the
multiple command-level forks and 'core image' handling of TOPS-
20), the simplicity and versatility of the UNIX environment I
feel recommend it to any available machine.
