       Most people doing real-time work wind up doing the work on a
stand-alone micro that reports back to a real UNIX for things like file
manipulation.  There's a very small UNIX satellite system which may have
been released by Western by now, which was designed for such things.  If
you're a commercial licensee it might be worth your while to just write one...
they're real short.

       Some digging into my files would come up with the names of some
folks who have done real-time UNIX work, but I know of no reports offhand.
