For the few of you who are obviously not
very busy, and/or don't subsribe to many
lists:

Ignoring messages on topics of no interest
is a pain in the ass and is to be avoided
if at all possible.  Splitting info-vax into
info-vax for non-os-specific stuff and info-vms
for vms stuff is a clear choice toward this end.
If you want to subscribe to both lists, fine.

Sheesh!  Enough.  List maintainers please do it.
