Software technician for VAX

The C.S. department of SUNY at Stony Brook has recently acquired a VAX 780.
We are pressing to get a person that will take care of system maintenance
and, generally, be responsible for the "well being" of the software
(installation of new programs, keeping track of accounts, fine tuning the
system, etc.)
The administration wants us to show that many other universites have a
person that fullfills these duties, before giving us the "go ahead" to
hire such a "software technician."

If you have one (or more) person(s) in charge of software maintenace for a VAX,
could you please let me know, (send a message to Zorat@mit-ai), as soon as
possible, since a decision must be made in a few days.
