When running batch jobs I have been unable to prevent the system from
deleting the log file after it is sent to SYS$PRINT.  Is there a switch
to SUBMIT that causes it to not print the file /delete?  Better yet, is
there a switch to prevent it from printing the log, period?

I hacked SYS$PRINT in my batch LOGIN.COM to be equivalent to NONEXISTENT_DEVICE
which causes the print request to bomb, thus saving the .LOG file.  I would
rather use something more reasonable though!
