Eunice EMACS
>From decvax!duke!ucf-cs!whm@Berkeley Thu Nov 19 01:22:30 1981
In regard to RUBENSTEIN@HARV-10's question about Eunice EMACS,

The EMACS on the Eunice tape is the one by Gosling and it does understand
TERMCAP.  There are certain terminals that have a "softwired" description
in subroutines (Ambassador,C100,I400,VT100) and there is also a section
for terminals described by TERMCAP.

My only guess on this problem is that you have the logical name TERM
defined wrong.

As far as the sources go, see James.Gosling@CMU-10A.

I've just started seeing this list recently, has there been much discussion
of Eunice on the list in the past?  If so, are there FTPable archives of
INFO-VAX anywhere?

Is there an ARPAnet list for Eunice?  (There is a Usenet list for Eunice.)
