Costs of terminal ribbons

Just out of curiosity, I recently did a comparison of the costs of
ribbons for various letter quality terminals. Here is the data. The
costs shown represent only a single dealer, but I find that the
relative costs hold over several dealers.

The amounts are dollars per million characters, using the
manufacturers estimates of ribbon life.

I believe that the Ricoh is also used by Radio Shack as the Daisy
