Freon
>From ihnss!ih1ap!dab@Berkeley Mon Mar  8 17:35:16 1982
In reply to DEVON@MIT-MC:  Watch out for airconditioner types of
freon.  Not only do they contain various types of freon but quite
often they contain a lubricant for the compressors.  Many times
the lubricant is silicon based and nearly impossible to remove.
Now I'm no expert but I recall an accident in my garage with a
half empty can that squirted gunk (silicon oil) all over my garage
floor.  The stain remains today.  I believe the airconditioner types
can be had both with and without lubricant.
