I recently read a news item on the net that stated 90% of the time
a user spends on a system is spent editing.  I'm sure this was just
loosly said but does anyone have some statistics (sadistics) on how
much time is spent editing in various computer environments?  I'm
sure that word-processing spends a tremendous amount of time just
performing editing but it seems that software development contributes
a fair amount of editing as well.
