fortran ex, unix teco

Ellis Cohen (esvax.cohen@berkeley) has a Fortran version of ex that
supports open mode for the HP something or other.  But he graduated
last June and I'm not sure if mail is being forwarded - he's now at
Tektronix.  I imagine that IBM and CDC systems will have a lot of
trouble using a full duplex editor on half duplex hardware, however.

I know that Harvard has had TECO running on UNIX for years.  But it's
written in PDP-11 assembly language.  By now they might have one in C
for the vax, who knows?
