The Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Field Marshal
Sir Richard Vincent, will pay an official visit to Albania on
Monday, 8 March and Tuesday, 9 March 1993.
Field Marshal Vincent will meet the President of Albania,
Mr. Sali Berisha, the Prime Minister, Mr. Alexander Meksi, the
Minister of Defence, Mr. Safet Zhulali, the Chairman of the
Parliament, Mr. Pjeter Arbenori and the Chief of the General
Staff, Lieutenant General Ilia Vasho.
During his stay he will also visit military units and he
will address officers of the Albanian Ministry of Defence.
A joint news conference by the Chairman NATO Military
Committee, the Albanian Minister of Defence and the Albanian
Chief of the General Staff is scheduled for 18:40 at the Culture
Centre of the Army, in Tirana, on 8 March 1993.
