Title: The Lappy, Email, XMPP, and Twtxt

So... I'm on my Dell Latitude again. I've got emulators set up, and Pico-8,
and I'm back to using terminal apps for nearly everything. I've been learning
Alpine for my email, set up slrn for keeping track newsgroups, filled newsboat
with my RSS feeds (and elfeed for a backup), imported my lynx files from my Mac
to use, converted my MP3s to OGG files and set up cmus, installed timidity and
modplug-tools for the rest of my music, set up Emacs (of course)... Getting
back into a lot of my old habits, while gaining some new ones.

I also grabbed `st`, `dwm`, and `surf` from Suckless Tools[0], but not just
to use on occasion. I've been wanting to learn C for a while, and working with
Suckless applications and tools has been helping me with understanding concepts
in ways that books just haven't been able to. I'm getting to study the code and
make some personal changes, and figure out how things come together as a whole,
rather than piecing it together slowly over several chapters.

Thanks to frustrations with both iCloud and XMPP.jp, I ended up going with
the awesomeness that is Disroot. I've updated my info on my gopherspaces to
show this.

Lastly, I returned to Twtxt[1], though don't expect me to post much. Mostly
stuff I don't feel like writing longform posts about. The crew there is usually
pretty chill, and it's niche enough that I'm not as worried about the extreme
stuff showing up there anymore. Plus, it matches my ideology for permacomputing
software/protocols, and gives me an excuse to write a client while learning C.

There are some other things in the pipeline for myself, but that's all I'm
wanting to talk about tonight. I was going to make this longer, but lack of
real sleep and being busy all day has kinda left me drained. It is what it is.
