So, I've been forcing myself to not write for the last little while. I moved
to using Nitter for a few RSS feeds of Twitter accounts that don't get
political, have been sticking to RSS feeds for what little of the blogging
world that I still look at on the web, and mostly been keeping myself offline
or unavailable just to try and enjoy myself a bit. Oddly enough, it's kinda
working.

In my "off time", I've been playing video games. Namely, I've been working on
beating games that I never got around to in the past, especially on the older
Nintendo and Sega consoles/handhelds. So far, those include:

- Super Mario Bros.
- Super Mario USA (SMB2 in the US)
- Super Mario Bros. 3
- The Legend of Zelda
- Final Fantasy (NES)
- StarTropics
- Sonic the Hedgehog
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2

And that's just the beginning as of late. I also re-finished the first gen
Pokémon games, and have been trying out some various ROM hacks as well. And I
have been /enjoying/ it! Something I haven't been able to do for the last year.
Gaming became stressful for me in all the bad ways, but it's far better than
the burnout and world events that my brain has been focusing on lately. Let's
see if that keeps up.
