3-08-2023 - #Marchintosh started in January

I promised more details about my retro "battle station" buildout,
so here are a few...

I've certainly been celebrating #Marchintosh with daily fun on my old
Macs, but that really all started with the New Year, with my renewed
efforts to build out my garage workspace with a number of my vintage
Apple desktops.

These are some of my more prized vintage machines -- an enhanced Apple
IIe with workstation card, a Mac LC with IIe card, a Performa 640CD
w/ 486 DX2-66 DOS Compatibility Card, a PowerMac G3 Server w/ G4-500
(running Mac OS 9.2.2, Mac OS X 10.4), and a PowerMac G5 desktop.

Each of these offer unique retrocomputing opportunities, so I wanted
to set up the space to be permanently efficient -- easy access to drop
into a game of Commander Keen or Doom on the Performa, explore PowerPC
Linux on the G5, or dive into a late-night coding session in Tiger on
the Beige G3 using my hand-built, custom mechanical keyboard.
