____ FRST Computer: Model 1 __________________________________________
This one is the first FRST. That is, this is the first realization
of my original Cyberdeck concept.
Printed in a PLA that is reminiscent of the Graphite Macs, (If not
an appropriately darker shade of graphite) it's primary influence
is apparent. Due (at least in part) to the build volume of my
printer, I designed around a compact custom mechanical keyboard that
those familiar with such things might recognize as a "corne" split
keyboard design. Each piece is engineered to be modular and portable,
conveniently attached by a series of strong magnets.
The monitor section houses the Espressif ESP32-S3 board, 4.2" 3-color
(Black/White/Red) display, and USB portable power source. The two
sides of the keyboard attach both to each other and to the monitor,
while the no-wires keyboard halves allow for flexibility and comfort.
