$hideous arms reach up, grab you around the neck, and squeeze. The head
$watches from the floor and laughs.
$You strike the troll with your sword time after time, but the blows do
$not harm it. As you troll squeezes the life out of you, you realize
$the halfling was trying to tell you that you need more than a sword to

$The halfling gasps in fright and grief. Then, edging away from the
$open doorway, he reaches a quiet place in the corridor.
\

$I'll come back to avenge Caric. Then Kalman had better beware of

$Looking around carefully, the halfling walks into the dark corridor.
