Instructions for CLEANT.BAS

                        A Disk File Clean Up Program

WHAT CLEANT DOES

This program will look at all of your disks for files with the extension
of ".LST".  Then, it will look for matching files with the extensions of
".TXT", ".T", or ".WRT".  If a TXT, T, or WRT file is found, then the LST
file will be erased.

USEAGE

CLEANT is easy to use.  Just type CLEANT from the dot (.).

GETTING HELP

To get some on-screen help with CLEANT, just type HELP CLEANT from the
dot (.).  You will see this file displayed.  If you need more assistance,

INSTALLATION

There are 4 files that make up this utility.  You should install them in the
accounts designated below:

       CLEANT.BAS    in   DSK0:[7,6]
       CLEANT.RUN    in   DSK0:[7,6]
       CLEANT.DO     in   DSK0:[2,2]
       CLEANT.HLP    in   DSK0:[7,1]

You can install these either from VCR tape or by entering them using VUE.
Be careful when typing in the programs.  Small typing errors can be critical.

After entering CLEANT.BAS, type COMPIL CLEANT.  This will create CLEANT.RUN.

Also, you will need to edit CLEANT.DO and enter the password for account
DSK0:[1,2] on your system if there is one.  If desired, you can also enter
a command to take you back to your application programs when done.
