Fully vaccinated Germany goes to war against Covid-19

According to the Robert Koch Institute, the number of reported cases
of coronavirus infection in Germany has risen sharply recently.
If a month ago the incidence rate was 243 new cases per 100 thousand
inhabitants, now it is 410. Do the seven-day incidence data indicate
the beginning of the autumn wave of coronavirus? The number of cases
alone is not enough to assess the situation as a whole. The severity
of the course of the disease and the load on clinics are also
important.
In addition, statistics cover only positive PCR tests, and now they
are not done for all infected people. As before, there are regional
differences in the number of new infections. According to the RKI,
over the past seven days, the highest figures were in the two federal
states - Saarland and Bavaria, and the lowest - in Hamburg and
Berlin.
