How to survive on a slow internet?

Today I will tell how I survive with the EDGE Internet and
Windows XP / Celeron 1000/512 mb ram. Perhaps many will think
that I cannot do anything. In fact, if do not use social
networks, everything works more or less tolerantly.
For navigation, I use the K-meleon version 76 browser. Portable.
It opens any TLS / SSL connection. The K-meleon browser has some
great built-in features. When you press F7, it turns JS on / off.
When you press F8, it enables / disables pop-ups. By pressing F9,
the browser enables / disables image loading.
Most sites work fine without JS and images. The main problem is
third-party statistics scripts. They are the ones who slow down.
Many sites have a mobile version. Thousands of political websites
have been blocked in my country.
Therefore, to read the news, I use an anonymizer like snowdenway.com
and the mobile version of the site. Recently on 2oForBeers BBS in
case of blocking TLS/SSL of the Internet in the country, in the
Paulie Bar section appeared RSS news of world media.
For Windows 98, you can use my build K-meleon 1.5.4 with TLS 1.2/SSL
support. Hope this information helps you.
