About Kremlin's controlled (sovereign) internet

The Putin regime has slowed down access to Twitter and plans to block YouTube.
The Kremlin and its satellites have tightened laws against criticism of the
regime authorities on social media. Since 2018, thousands and thousands
of people have been arrested and imprisoned for criticizing the Putin regime
and he satellites in goverment social media (Vk, Ok, MailRu), as well as
political reposts and memes. For criticism of the Putin regime, blogers and
simple user can get up to 2 years in prison.
Users of Ok and Vk - Russian state social networks, as well as other
platforms, are shocked. They cursed and emphatically abandoned all alternative
independent means of communication in the early 2010s (USENET, IRC, Jabber,
P2P, local ICQ servers, Web forums, BBS, web chat rooms and other).
Social media users were convinced that they complicit in progress. And that
people like me are idiots, madmens at nostalgia, becaouse preserve information
about alternative means of communication and support that.
In 2021, the moment of truth has come for Russian adherents of the idea of
progress - "there was no progress on social media". Social media was created
as a corral to govern society. For a census and the arrest of all the
disaffected. If people remained committed to the decentralization of Web 1
(portals system) and alternative protocols, then no one would be arrested now.
Because the regime would not knows anything about. One IRC server gives folks
more democracy and freedom than Facebook or Telegramm.
Democracy comes from each individual person, not from social media or
bureaucratic institutions. If you use social media, then you are an accomplice
of the dictatorship. It doesn't matter whether communist or technological...
But who is to blame for this? Edward Snowden presented this opportunity to
dictatorships. Lenin called such people "useful bourgeois idiots." How can a
person who has gifted the Chinese communists and the Putin regime with the
skills of total control over society be considered a hero? In general, what
the West considers nostalgia under an undemocratic form of government is the
only possible means of communication independent of the regime. Today, every
owner of an independent IRC/Usenet/Jabber/ICQ/P2P and other, is a mini
Nelson Mandella, creating a space of democracy inside a political prison.
The number of people arrested for posts on social media will increase every
day. Until people realize that they are in a sheep stall, nothing will change.
And this will happen only when they stop thinking that the same
Gopher is some kind of vintage and retro. They need to understand that
smartphones with updates consisting of government programs of the Putin regime
and social media are biggest traitors. And that they can only protect
their personal data by taking certain steps themselves, for example, by
placing a single-board computer with an IRC server at home. This is called
democracy. Make decisions and do something himself.

Thank you for reading to the end.
