Islamic prophet killed in Pakistan

Pakistani court sentenced to death a woman Salma Tanvir who
proclaimed herself the new prophet, writes The Independent. A
Lahore woman who calls herself a prophet who came after
Muhammad (the last prophet, according to Islamic doctrine),
she used to work as a director in one of the local schools. It is
noted that the woman wrote her version of the religious doctrine,
in which she denied the established opinion that Muhammad was
the last chosen one of Allah. In 2013, Tanvir was prosecuted for
blasphemy, based on a complaint from a local cleric.
In September 2021, a Pakistani court sentenced a woman to death
and ordered a fine of 50,000 rupees from her. The verdict notes
that by her actions the ex-headmaster of the school "humiliated
the holy prophet Muhammad."
