Covid 19 - in hot pursuit

1) Germany
"A large medical insurance organization studied the health status
of patients with coronavirus at the beginning of the pandemic.
About one in three of those who were admitted to the hospital then
were hospitalized a second time within six months," reports the
German publication Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
2) Israel
"For several weeks, the number of infections has been skyrocketing.
The government has published gloomy scenarios. The number of
patients hospitalized with coronavirus will double every ten days,"
it warns. In 4 weeks, their number could reach 4.8 thousand, half
of which follows expect a severe course of the disease."
"According to a Biontech / Pfizer vaccine efficacy report released
in late July by the Ministry of Health, the vaccine remains 88% and
91% effective in preventing hospitalizations and severe symptoms,
respectively, despite the aggressive delta variant of the coronavirus.
However, protection against infection and mild symptoms decreased
by up to 40%, "Handelsblatt reports.
3) Finland
According to a recent Kansalaispulssi poll, 22 percent of parents of
children and adolescents remain negative about their coronavirus
vaccination. Voluntary mass vaccination of children aged 12 to 15
began this week in Finland. The authorities expect to vaccinate most
residents over 12 years of age with two doses of the vaccine by early
November.
4) France
In France, protests against sanitary passes continue for the fifth
Saturday in a row, RFI reports. Thousands of people in different
cities of France have traditionally demonstrated on Saturday against
sanitary passes and mandatory vaccinations. According to the Ministry
of Internal Affairs, the total number of participants in more than 200
declared shares on August 14 was about 250 thousand people. The
demonstrators themselves accuse the authorities of underreporting the
scale of the
protest.
