1. Intro
=======================================================================
WWE Crush Hour is a newly released game that puts the WWE superstars into
cars that are equipped with guns. This guide will hopefully provide
information that will help you make it through the game & unlock all of the
wrestlers.
For my review of WWE Crush Hour go to:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/gamecube/review/R51517.html
=======================================================================
2. Revision History
=======================================================================
Version 3.1 - April 14, 2003: Got rid of the line at the bottom of the guide
asking for help with the Demolition Derby mode because I have gotten numerous
e-mails telling me how even though I already added how to get it. I would
still like to thank the people who were willing to help. I also added who
Edge unlocks & a link to my review of the game. I'm hopefully going to have
Lita unlocked soon & all of the stats should be finished by the end of the
long weekend. I will also try to add a map or two.
Version 3.0 - April 12, 2003: Added car stats for the rest of the hidden
characters except Lita (I'm going to work on unlocking her soon). I've also
started to add some quotes, specials & advanced stats plus another strategy
each for King of the Ring & the bottom line.
Version 2.5 - March 29, 2003: Added Layouts & Strategies for the rest of the
arenas. I also added two new sections to the bottom of the FAQ & the car
stats for Vince McMahon & Christian. Hopefully this version will get
accepted.
Version 2.0 - March 26, 2003: I just completed my first career mode so I
finished the list of career mode weeks & added a strategy for the Final
Battle against Vince McMahon in career mode. I also added the basic
strategies. Car info for Christian & Vince McMahon coming soon plus
strategies for all of the remaining arenas should be done this weekend (I'm
going to try & finish up my Crush Hour review in the next couple of days).
I sent version 1.5 into Gamefaqs but it hasn't appeared on the site so it
either didn't get accepted or hasn't been looked at yet so I'm going to send
in this version so hopefully it gets put up.
Version 1.5 - March 24, 2003: Added Wrestlers & Arenas.
Version 1.0 - March 23, 2003: Added basic things like the intro, controls
etc.

=======================================================================
4. Basic Strategies
=======================================================================
This section will outline my basic strategies for winning in Crush Hour along
with any strategies that are sent to me.
- Always go for the weakest person.
- Try to memorize where the health is so you always know where to go.
- Save your special for opponents that have high health. Don't waste it on
someone you can easily blow up with your gun.
- Always remember where you laid mines.
- Only get the useful weapons & just ignore the others.
- Stay far away from any place that you can fall off of.
***More to come***
=======================================================================
5. Weapons
=======================================================================
In this section, I will tell you about each of the weapons and what I think
of them.
Annihilator
Maximum you can have: 2
Description: It sends out a beam straight ahead of you that does major damage
if it hits someone.
My Rating: 3/5 - Does good damage but it is hard to hit people with.
Atomic Drop
Maximum you can have: 3
Description: A slow-guided bomb that will drop on your opponents.
My Rating: 2/10 - Opponent usually moves before this does any damage.
Grenade Launcher
Maximum you can have: 16
Description: A gun that fires grenade ahead of you, which will explode a few
seconds after hitting the ground.
My Rating: 2/5 - Does very little unless your opponent is in a small space.
Laser Guided Rockets
Maximum you can have: 6
Description: Rockets that will lock on to the nearest opponent.
My Rating: 4/5 - Usually takes at least 2 or 3 to do any real damage but they
are almost a guaranteed hit.
Mines
Maximum you can have: 8
Description: Drops mines on the ground that will explode when someone drives
over them.
My Rating: 2/5 - Don't do a lot of damage & I usually end up driving over my
own so I pretty much stopped using them.
Twisty Rockets
Maximum you can have: 3
Description: Spiraling rockets that seek out the nearest opponent.
My Rating: 4/5 - Do nice damage & seek out opponents.
VRF Gun
Maximum you can have: 4
Description: Smaller version of the Annihilator.
My Rating: 3/5 - Good weapon but it is tough to hit people.
Armor
Maximum you can have: N/A
Description: Increases your defense temporarily.
My Rating: 4/5 - Very useful for when you go on a big attack.
Health
Maximum you can have: N/A
Description: Adds more health to your health meter.
My Rating: 5/5 - Great for when your getting shot at.
Turbo
Maximum you can have: 6
Description: Adds 2 turbos to your turbo meter
My Rating: 5/5 - Great for rams.
Invulnerability
Maximum you can have: N/A
Description: Makes you invincible for a short period of time.
My Rating: 3/5 - Good but usually in a very dangerous spot.
Double Damage
Maximum you can have: N/A
Description: Makes your shots twice as powerful.
My Rating: 4/5 - No comment.
Ramming Power
Maximum you can have: N/A
Description: Makes your rams twice as powerful.
My Rating: 5/5 - Almost an instant kill when combined with turbo.

7. Arenas
=======================================================================
This section is dedicated to the different arenas, their objectives and
specific strategies.
Raw
Objective: Kill a certain amount of opponents to win.
Layout: Pretty open arena that has 4 raw stages around the outside, which is
where you start. The centre of the arena contains an invulnerability that is
surrounded by spinning blades. Health & turbos can be found around the
outside.
My strategies: - Go after everyone
- Avoid the spinning blades
SmackDown!
Objective: Kill a certain amount of opponents to win.
Layout: Another open arena with 4 SmackDown stages around the outside. This
one also includes some hallways where some more powerful weapons can be
found. In the center of the arena there is a floating platform that has a
double damage on it plus there are 4 ramps going up to the platform which all
include weapons. Underneath the platform there is armor, which is protected
by fire.
My strategies: - Use the halls & side rooms (that is where the health is)
- Stay away from the fire
Hell In A Cell
Objective: Kill a certain amount of opponents to win.
Layout: A multi room outdoor arena that can be very confusing. You start in
the cell, which is a small square room that contains armor in the centre.
Once everyone except one person has been killed the cell doors will open
allowing the last person to leave the cell (the doors are then closed for the
rest of the match. The outside of the cell is just a larger square that
surrounds the cell. Once the pyramid doors open, there are 4 places that you
can go:
1. The grass: This is a small grass section, which has some pillars in
the centre & contains various weapons (like the ramming power and some
health).
2/3. The square/The stairs: The reason I put these two together is that
they are connected by an underground tunnel. The square is a small square
area that contains a few weapons & has a small corridor off to one side. The
stairs are a set of stairs that lead down to a small underground room with a
couple of weapons & a tunnel beside the stairs. The tunnel contains various
weapons.
4. The pyramid: To get into the pyramid you have to go up the large
ramp. Once you get to the top you can go either left or right down a giant
curving ramp to the bottom. At the bottom of the ramp you will find various
weapons including the annihilator. In between the ramps you will find two
giant lava pits that will cost you a point if you fall into them.
My strategies: - Stay away from the lava pit area.
- Use the tunnel for sneak attacks if you know someone is at
the other end.
- The ramming power can be found in the middle of the pillars
in the grass area.
Hardcore
Objective: Hold onto the title belt for 30 seconds.
Layout: Pretty boring level. You start on a small platform. If you drive
straight ahead you will find the belt in another large room. From there you
can go into another small side room which contains a few weapons or you can
go into one of two tunnels on either side that will bring you back to the
room you started in.
My strategies: - Use a turbo at the beginning to get the belt and then stick
Mainly to the tunnels.
Lumberjack
Objective: Collect 5 Stars.
Layout: Outdoor arena that is set at a saw mill. The only real thing in this
arena is the sawmill in the middle at the top of the hill. Inside is a saw
that is protecting a weapon (I can't remember which one).
My strategies: - Ignore everyone else and just go for the stars.
Ironman
Objective: Get the most kills before time runs out.
Layout: The middle is a square area that has 4 giant square posts in the
corners. Outside of the raised centre, there is a circular area that contains
a couple of ramps, one of which leads to a pit of nuclear waste. The other
ramp brings you to an elevated platform that just leads back to the outside
area of the arena.
My strategies: - Avoid the ramps because if you fall in the waste you will
lose one point
- Make sure to keep moving around the level.
Running The Gauntlet
Objective: Collect 10 Stars.
Layout: This arena is made up of 4 rooftops that have ramps going to each.
The roof you start on includes some glass windows and a few weapons. The only
spot for the star on this roof is straight ahead from where you start and to
the left. If you go straight from the first roof & hit the ramp you will land
on the second roof.
This is probably the biggest of the four. On this roof there are quite a few
weapons & quite a lot of room. There are two places for stars. The first one
is just to the left of the ramp to go up to the first roof. The other spot is
straight from the ramp coming off of the first roof. To get to the third
roof, make a right turn & go up the ramp.
The third roof is just one large open area that contains many steel poles in
various spots. The first of the two star positions is straight ahead of the
ramp that comes up from the second roof. The other is in the far right corner
if you are facing the forth roof. Just to the left of the star is the ramp to
the final roof.
The forth roof is rather small but contains a few weapons. The first place
that a star can appear is right below the ramp coming from the third roof.
The other spot is diagonally to the far left corner.
My strategies: - Avoid dieing as much as possible.
- If you end up falling too much, try staying on one roof &
waiting for the stars (I suggest Roof 2)
- When possible, Ignore your opponents.
Battle Royal
Objective: Eliminate 11 opponents without dieing.
Layout: This arena is a subway station. The centre contains a subway track
that has health & the ramming power on it. Be careful though, 2 trains go
across the tracks frequently & will kill you instantly if they hit you. Each
side of the track contains a wall with 3 openings. The 2 openings at each end
are openings for tunnels behind the wall. The centre opening connects the 2
tunnels & contains turbo & armor or double damage (depending on which side of
the track you are on). The tunnels also contain health, VRF guns (one on each
side) & the atomic drop or the grenade launcher.
My strategies: - Stay in the tunnels collecting weapons.
- The VRF gun is very useful in this level.
- Only fight when absolutely necessary.
- If too many opponents come after you, go to the other side
of the tracks.
- When crossing the tracks, wait until you see the trains go
by & then cross.
Cage Match
Objective: Get the contract & take it to the finish point 3 times.
Layout: This match takes place in a harbor. The main fighting area is a
square section on top of a platform that is surrounded by a steel cage. In
the cage, the only thing you can find is health. You can find one health
along each wall of the cage. The object of the match is to defeat the other
three opponents in the cage and get the contract that appears in the centre
of the cage. Once you have the contract, the cage will be lifted up & you
must take the contract to the glowing spot on one of the piers for a point.
The catch is that once someone is defeated they have to wait outside of the
cage & they can get the contract by blowing up the person that has it.
My strategies: - Keep your opponents away from the health
- Remember that to get off the platform, you must use one of
the ramps because there is a ridge around the outside that
will stop you from driving off the edge.
- If you get eliminated from the cage, don't bother trying to
find weapons. Just wait outside the cage & go after the
person that has the contract with your normal gun.
- Don't use any turbos in the cage.
- Ignore your special because it will reset after each scored
point (but if you do get one, use it quickly).
Bottom Line
Objective: Defeat a certain number of opponents.
Layout: This match takes place on an oilrig located in the ocean. The section
that you start on is just a flat space that contains turbo & health. If you
go straight ahead from the start there is a building with 2 glass windows.
These windows are breakable but are usually shot out by the computer players
right away. In the building you will find a rather bland, open spot that
contains some raised areas in the corners. You will also find an exit in each
wall that will lead you to an outside platform. Be careful when using the
exit furthest from the windows, because it contains a rectangular spot in the
middle of the exit that will lead you into the water. Around the building is
a platform that is probably only wide enough for 2 cars that will also lead
to the water. If you go out the left exit of the building you will find a
small bridge that goes out to a small circular platform, which is surrounded
by water & contains a weapon. If you take a left turn (when coming from the
building) you will find a larger helipad that contains a couple weapons like
the grenade launcher.
My strategies: - Stay mainly in the building.
- If you are good at staying on, go to the helipad because it
is very useful to get weapons & to get opponents to come to
you.
- Avoid powersliding near the edges.
- The Ramming Power can be found just to the right of the
building entrance (inside).
Royal Rumble
Objective: Outlast 11 other opponents by collecting crowns.
Layout: The royal rumble takes place in a two level construction site. You
start on the bottom level. Go straight ahead to the end of the lower level &
you will find the ramp to the upper level. If when going straight, you go to
the left a little, you can get armor, which is hidden underneath something.
All the upper level consists of is an oval track that goes around the inner
section & contains many weapons. The way to win is to collect one of the two
crowns & hold onto it for thirty seconds. Once the thirty seconds have
expired, everyone without a crown will be eliminated.
My strategies: - Go to the left at the beginning when you get up the ramp
instead of the right like it tells you. There will be
another crown just to the left.
- Avoid all confrontation when possible (use turbo to get
away).
King Of The Ring
Objective: Defeat 11 opponents, one at a time.
Layout: The setting for the King of the Ring is a circular coliseum. The
coliseum is separated into two parts by walls that surround the inner
section. The inner section is a basic circular section that contains some
pillars. Armor can be found in the middle of the inner section & other
weapons can be found near the walls. The outer section is just a thin area
between the walls & the crowd that contains all of the health. Also in the
outer section, you can find little rooms that are in the outside wall. Each
of these little rooms contain a powerful weapon.
My strategies: - Always refill your health bar between opponents (even if it
is almost full).
- If an opponent goes for health, follow them & shoot them
from behind. This builds your special easily.
- Save your special for the more powerful opponents.
Survivor Series
Objective: Score three points in a tag team elimination match.
Layout: The survivor series match takes place in a downtown area. The main
area contains a couple of fountains & lots of health. There are also some
side streets that contain various weapons. The tag zones are found near the
centre of the level.
My strategies: - Tag often.
- Try to get your opponents away from the tag zones.

* = Win to unlock the arena in exhibition
Week 17 - Final Battle
My strategy: Go straight ahead & get the armor at the beginning. Once you
have it do a U-turn and go around the outside of the centre until you find
the ramming power. After you get the ramming power, line up Vince & turbo
into him 2 or 3 times until he has lost one health meter. After that you may
need to get some health. To drain Vince's second meter you have a few
options:
1. Shoot him: This was the way that I beat this match. I shot him down to
yellow while power sliding & chased him down when he went for health. As I
chased him, he kept getting health & I kept shooting him down to low health.
After a minute or so, I built up my special, used a turbo to catch up & shot
him with my special for the win.
2. Use weapons: This one is simple. Get the powerful weapons & try to kill
him that way.
3. Ram him: Get the ramming power again & use turbos to ram into him. If you
have to, shoot him a few times at the end for the win.

Unlockable Modes
When I beat a Hardcore match in exhibition, I unlocked Demolition Derby mode
(no guns) but I have not heard of anyone else being able to get it so I'm not
sure just how it is unlocked.
*****Update*****
I would like to thank JustinSane007 from the Gamefaqs message boards for
correcting this:
To unlock Demolition Derby mode you have to win a match in exhibition mode
without using any weapons. I would suggest doing either a hardcore match or a
lumberjack match to get this.
