~~~~~~~~Weapons Breakdown by Stats~~~~~~~~~
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
If you are looking for a weapon of your own, and are wondering what weapons
are the best in their class for each category, then see these tables. The
categories are divided up by best range, best damage, best accuracy, and
best fire rate. For fire rate, RPM represents 'Rounds Per Minute'. This
was compiled by setting a Stopwatch for 1 [one]second, and then seeing how
many rounds the weapon fired during a period of one second. This was then
found by multiplying the number of rounds fired during a period of one
second, by sixty, as there are sixty seconds in one minute.
<> Submachine Guns <>
[Best Range] Fabrique Nationale P90 PDW.................. 014/100
[Best Damage] Heckler & Koch UMP45........................ 026/100
[Best Accuracy] Heckler & Koch MP5SD5....................... 047/100
[Best Fire Rate] Ingram MAC-11/9............................. 960 RPM
Recommended Submachine Gun: H&K MP5A4
While it may only use the 9mm round, the H&K MP5A4 is the most well
rounded SMG in Black Arrow. It has solid range, damage, accuracy, and
a great rate of fire.
<> Assault Rifles <>
[Best Range] Heckler & Koch G3A3......................... 049/100
[Best Damage] Heckler & Koch G3A3......................... 087/100
[Best Accuracy] Colt M16A2.................................. 074/100
[Best Fire Rate] FAMAS G2.................................... 900 RPM
Recommended Assault Rifle: H&K G3A3
The H&K G3A3 is in my opinion, not just the best, and the most well
rounded Assault Rifle, but the best weapon in Black Arrow. The G3A3
has the best range, and the best damage out of all the Assault Rifles.
<> Light Machine Guns <>
[Best Range] U.S. Ordnance M60E4/M43 Mod. O.............. 049/100
[Best Damage] U.S. Ordnance M60E4/M43 Mod. O.............. 100/100
[Best Accuracy] Fabrique Nationale M249 SAW................. 052/100
[Best Fire Rate] Fabrique Nationale M249 SAW................. 660 RPM
Recommended Light Machine Gun: U.S. Ordnance M60E4/M43 Mod. O
The U.S. Ordnance M60E4 is a very solid weapon if you plan to use any
of the Light Machine Guns. It has solid stats in what counts the most;
range, damage, and accuracy.
<> Sniper Rifles <>
[Best Range] Dragunov SVD................................ 061/100
[Best Damage] Dragunov SVD................................ 100/100
[Best Accuracy] Heckler & Koch PSG-1........................ 100/100
[Best Fire Rate] N/A............................... -------
Recommended Sniper Rifle: Dragunov SVD
The Dragunov SVD takes the cake when it comes to the best stats in
both range, and damage. It also has pretty good accuracy, and while
not a good as the PSG-1's accuracy, the Dragunov SVD has a lot more
damage.
<> Shotguns <>
[Best Range] Tied between Daewoo USAS-12 and Benelli M1.. 008/100
[Best Damage] Tied between Daewoo USAS-12 and Benelli M1.. 100/100
[Best Accuracy] Tied between Daewoo USAS-12 and Benelli M1.. 001/100
[Best Fire Rate] Daewoo USAS-12.............................. 300 RPM
Recommended Shotgun:
The Daewoo USAS-12 is a must for anyone who wants to use a Shotgun.
It has stats identical to the Benelli M1, but with the exception
that it features a 20 round magazine, and its fully automatic.
<> Handguns <>
[Best Range] Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX....... 020/100
[Best Damage] Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX....... 070/100
[Best Accuracy] Heckler & Koch Mark 23 Mod 0................ 042/100
[Best Fire Rate] Ingram MAC-11/9............................. 960 RPM
Recommended Handgun: H&K Mark 23
The H&K Mark 23 is a great weapon when its comes to packing a Handgun.
It has a 12 round magazine, features a suppressor for eliminating the
muzzle flash of the weapon, and for reducing the report of the gunshot
itself. Its stats are all well-rounded, and its power is unrivaled by
any Handgun except for the Desert Eagle.
~~Ammunition and Magazine Characteristics~~
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
o Capacity- The Magazine Capacity of a Weapon is, of course, how many rounds of
Ammunition the Weapons Magazine can hold. Here is a tip: After pressing 'X' to
reload, press 'X' again to reload one more time. You should notice that the
rounds in your Magazine have increased by one (1). Take the Steyr AUG for
example; it has a Capacity of 30 rounds in its Magazine. Now, reload after a
refreshing firefight and you now have 30 rounds. Reload once more, and you have
31 rounds in your Magazine, thus making 30 + 1, or 31. Now you're thinking,
"What is one bullet going to do?" Well, one bullet in Black Arrow can be the
difference between a Hostage being killed, or the Terrorist aiming the gun at
his/her head being killed. Also, note that if you have 13 bullets in a magazine
and you reload to get a fresh 30 round magazine, you will eventually run into
that magazine with 13 bullets in it, so think twice before you reload.
o Ammunition Types- The Weapons of Black Arrow are ALL real-world Weapons,
which the majority of them are used by Counter-Terrorist Teams, and Special
Forces units around the world. Since the Weapons are real, the Ammunition they
fire is also real, and in effect, acts real. Fire a 9mm round at a door;
nothing happens. Fire a 7.62x51mm NATO round at a door, and the round will
pierce through, and kill the unlucky Terrorist standing behind it. Short Range
situations require Ammunition that will take down the Target, but not pierce
through the Target, and hit a close by friendly. For Long Range situations, the
Ammunition has to have enough Range to reach out and touch someone, but enough
power to take out the threat quickly.
Refer to the below Chart for info regarding Ammunition Characteristics:
II. FAQ Navigation System..................................................FN~
_______________________________________________________________________________
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
The Navigation System compromised of a combination of letters, and a symbol
(the Tilde (~) key). All of my future FAQs will include this new system, making
for an easier, and more helpful FAQ experience.
Here is how it works:
Look in the Table of Contents for a specific section, find the code and do the
following:
Press CTRL and F on a PC, or the Special Key and F on a Macintosh. A search box
will then appear; search for the code, and you will be taken to that section.
This system is fairly new, so it is bound to have bugs in it. Please inform me
of any errors in the FAQ, or with the system itself. My E-Mail is in the Legal
Section of the FAQ.
No UNOFFICIAL Websites may use this FAQ. Do not bother to E-Mail
me asking to use this FAQ on your Website, unless you meet specific
requirements* as I WILL say NO! The reason behind this is the fact
that some people are too lazy to go to GameFAQs to get the latest
version of my FAQ, and when readers E-mail me, it causes problems.
For example, in one of my older FAQs, someone told me that my FAQ
was wrong about a certain topic, where as it had been corrected
about two months before, so I decided that I shouldn't let people
host my FAQs when they can't keep them updated. It's not my job to
send out a Zip file every time I update a FAQ, to two or three other
hosts.
