This is my very very first FAQ at anything so you know, be gentle ;).
I want to give the lowdown on the characters movelist and some other
info too. I know there're some other people who can do FAQs way better
than mine (Chris you're the GOD) so I hope this can be useful
and shed  some light unto you ^_^, for any correction, flame, rant,
contribution, request, etc email me at [email protected]

FAQ Notation

I'll take elements from the typical notation found in most Kao Megura's
FAQs, hey they are the easier for reading after all and I won't come up
with some intrincate FAQ notation system that only I can understand,
IMHO Chris McDonald refined the art of the notation, so in nutshell it
can't get better than this (heck even himself switched to another
notation for his KOF 2001 FAQ and had to comeback to this "classic"
notation when he did newer FAQs as KOF2K2 and SVC:Chaos)

- Normal Change will tag-in one of your partners depending of the
buttons you press (BC will tag in one and CD will tag-in the other)
- You can only use Normal Change if the "Change OK" lamp above the
Power Gauge is light
- Change Attack will tag-in one of your partners depending of the
buttons you press but this time they'll attack
- Body Toss are escaped using the same button your opponent uses to
throw you, however you can escape every Body Toss if you press f + CD
- It costs one level of the Power Gauge to do any of these: "Guard
Cancel Emergency Evade"(any version), "Guard Cancel Blow-out Attack",
"Change Attack" or a DM
- It costs you two levels to perform a "Super Cancel" or a LDM (only the
LEADER can do it)

-b + D is fast, but reach is short
-Messidor is slow but cancellable
-Floreal should be used as his main attack
-You can run very close to it after you throw an (A)Ventôse, but
(C)Ventôse is so fast that you may almost be able to have two on screen
-Nivôse has many invincibility frames and is a Super Cancellable attack
very quick too
-Vendémiaire is a throw which can be followed with a Nivôse or some
other things also it doesn't have miss animation and only the first hit
is unblockable
-Thermidor is a ball of energy that travels very slow, but it's
multihitting, so you can combo many things after it
-Sans-Culotte removes the need to charge the moves for 10 seconds

- Power Charge and its Follow-Ups can be delayed a bit
- Crack Shoot (B) is overhead but (D) isn't
- Power Charge can be Super Cancelled after the second hit
- Power Geyser is a lot faster now but there's not "aftershock" in the
sense that after the explosion, the move won't hit any more. In previous
KOFs, the Geyser would still hit as it's disappearing
- If Buster Wolf 1st hit is blocked Terry doesn't follow it up
- Power Stream is like Terry's version of Raging Storm. Terry is
invincible once the beam of light appears during the Power Stream

- Robert can hold and charge his Haou Shou Kou Ken increasing the damage
dealt to the opponent. When uncharged, though, it's fast enough to be
chained into
- His LDM's, in spite the different names, are just very fast and
powerful version of his Hien Ryujin Kyaku.they just vary in the angle of
attack, very fast and powerful version of his Hien Ryujin Kyaku
B version goes downwards like the normal Ryujin Kyaku, D version goes
straight forward

- 108 Katsu: Tamayura no Shitsune works differently depending on the
button used to do the move, if A she teleports once and does the reflect
attack, if C is used she teleports twice [if you are mid-to-far from
your opponent she teleports twice forward, if you are close, she
teleports once forward and once backwards] and do the reflecting attack
- 100 Katsu: Tenjin no Kotowari works like Chizuru anti-air, but if it
connects she does 3 follow-ups hits
- qcb + P works different depending on the button too, if A, she does
her feared 11-hit combo, it's blockable, but if she connects the 1st
hit, she'll do the full combo ending on a final blow once you're on the
ground. The last hit is an overhead and it's escapable/blockable. If you
use C button, she does a fast dash to the other side of the screen that
knocks the opponent down, it's REALLY fast
- qcb + B is a simple forward teleport that returns her to the original
spot she was standing on, For distracting purposes
- For the d,d + P / K attacks, here's a little table:
  * d,d+A: She sends a shadow forward in a "leaping" manner
  * d,d+B: She teleports forward. Same as above except this time its her
  * d,d+C: She leaps into the air and does a cross-over kick
  * d,d+D: Her shadows leaps into the air and heads towards the opponent
    Hits low, very fast
- For Rimen 85 Katsu: Reigi no Ishizue, Chizuru comes out and to the
"sealing", it seems Maki can't do it herself ^^U

After your third match, a small cut-scene is shown where a priestess
cast a spell, after it you get to fight with Kusanagi (the Kyo clone
that we first saw in KOF2002)

The way you defeat Kusanagi affects you further progress in the game.

- If you defeat Kusanagi with a normal/special move:

You have another match and after it another cutscene is shown, this time
the priestess is talking to you, she reveals herself as this year's KOF
sponsor...and nothing more, she says you'll be tested, after it, Rugal's
portrait is shown briefly and you find yourself in an air-carrier, it is
then revealed that you're in the Sky-Noah and your opponent will be none
other than Rugal's son himself: ADELHEID BERNSTEIN, his sister Rose is
in the background playing the piano.

If you win, another cutscene is shown, Adelheid is laying in the floor,
his sister seems very pissed off and claims for vengeance, Adel then
tells her to let it be, "Defeat is defeat, sister" are his exact words.
It seems the son is a better sportman than his father ever was ^^U

- If you defeat Kusanagi with a DM/LDM:

You have another match and after it a cutscene is shown, this time the
priestess reveals that you were being tested and you passed the test.
She reveals herself to be Chizuru Kagura (you can see some weird
"black threads" behind her), the sponsor of this year's KOF, after that
another figure resembling Chizuru is shown, it turns out to be, that
other person is nothing more than Maki Kagura, Chizuru's sister who was
killed in 1986 by Goenitz!! Those two proceed to fight you after that.

If you defeat Kagura Sisters, another cutscene is shown, a strange
figure appears, it's named Mukai and it's a servant of a greater power.
After the fight, he claims that his masters's time has come, and leaves
alive, then a image of him and 4 other more servants is shown, and it's
interesting to see that they are on the palm of a gigantic hand, one can
stop to wonder "who they are?" and "who's the owner of that hand?"

It seems KOF 2K4 will be full of surprises!!!
