Sites who are allowed to post this: Neoseeker, and Gamefaqs

Version History: April 3, 2002- I started this. I have a
list of the locations thanks to a wonderful source,
Supernovajm, who is in the credits section.
April 4-I completed this entire thing. It took some time,
and I once again thank Supernovjm, who is in the credits
section, for the locations.
April 6-I added an ASCII title since it seemed cooler. The
graphic in the title is a light saber. I also added a new
section.

What are the Medals?

Medals in this game are generally tasks to challenge
yourself with your skill. If you can get the medals, you
earn bragging rights, and sometimes, although not in this
game, a suprise. If you can't get all of the medals at
once, you are entitled to go and try again to get the
others, and never lose the medals earned. For instance, if
you get the life medal, but die getting the exploration
medal, you still have the life medal.

The Locations-Chapter 1
First of all, I would like to make it clear. All of the
Jedi Arena medals are behind one of the pillars in the top
floor. Therefore, they are not listed, and they only
require normal enemy tactics to get the rest, so they will
not be listed. I will go as in depth as possible to make it
easy for you. Also, these are only the exploration medals.
You can check my other faqs for the best enemy tactics to
get the rest of the medals.

Level One
The first medal is found by turning around near the start,
and going past the wookie. It is right there. Then go
through the level until you have found the girl who shouts
for help. Kill her pursuers, and follow her to the fork.
From there, take the left, and you will find the marker.
Turn around and follow the path back taking the first
right. Jump down a ledge and do a 180. Follow the path to
reach a dead end with a marker. Then, go find the broken
landspeeder, and listen for music. The marker is behind it.
Then, near the middle of the level there is a small
outcropping in the wall below the transport. It is behind
the large crate. The final one is in the lower level in the
back left corner opposite the transport near the Ithorian.

Level Two
He first medal is in the top of the level in the "hole". It
is near the cement mixer. You need to climb the crates to
get to tit. The second is outside the building on the ledge
on the sixth floor under the starting point above the
second elevator. Jump out the window and hop the ledges to
get it.

Level Three
Fight the Black Heth Thugs, and cross the bridge. On the
left, there are several crates. The first marker is behind
them. Then, go up the ramp on the left, and it is there.
Watch out for the grenade launching enemies.
The Locations-Chapter Two
Level One
One is in the hollow log in the center of the stage past
the first island. From there, hang right, and the next is
in another hollow log. It is just before the first
waterfall. Then, head toward the cliffs, and hug the left.
Jump on them, and there will be several boulders. Until you
hit the one with the marker next to it, stay left. After
the loading screen, turn and look to your left. Near one of
the closest big trees, there will be a hole in the ground,
like that of a hobbit's. The marker is in it (My precious.
My Precious.) From there, turn and face the cliff behind
you. Make a left and follow the wall, and keep going past
the pathways. Soon, there will be a part where the ground
levels out, and then dips rapidly. There is a small cliff
to the right, and some boulders. Look near the boulders for
the marker.

Level Two
At the starting point, look at the starship before entering
the mines. The first medal is on top of it. Continue the
level until you have to go down the elevator shafts. As you
go down, the second medal is on the gray "bridge" you fall
to. The third marker is in the looping hallway right after
the elevator shafts. It is the one that only leads back to
the room you came from. As you are passing through the BIG
lava pits, on the other side there will be some crates on
the far left. The next marker is behind them. The final
marker is behind some crates in the room with the cortosis
machine.

Level Three
The first marker is near the crates in the starting room.
Get it, and continue through the level until you use the
elevator to get up to the top level. The marker is behind
one of the crates. The next one is on top of the
cylindrical tower near the mine exit. Jump to it from the
catwalk and get it. The final marker for this chapter is
behind a large rock where the other level started. Since
there are many rocks, give yourself some time to look.
The Medals-Chapter 3
Level One
Play through the level until Qui-Gon makes you turn back.
As you get closer to the control room, there will be a
hallway with 4 tunnels. In one of the two side tunnels,
there will be another tunnel leading to the marker. Pick it
up. There is nothing in the other side tunnel. Once you
destroy the turrets, jump from each bit of debris of the
ship until you make one big jump to the cockpit, where the
second marker is. Grab it, and go. Continue the level until
you get to the second open maintenance hangar (the one with
the ship was NOT the first. The next one you see is the
first, and then the next after that is the second). Find
the invincibility icon, and go behind it to a large pillar.
The marker is there. Continue the level until you go into
the vents after being locked into the room. The marker is
in the vents, opposite of the route where Qui-Gon takes
you. You can't go back if you miss it, so remember to check
thoroughly which routes you can take. The last marker is in
the room before the observation deck (NOT the Command
Bridge at the end). Climb the box in the back corner, and
follow the catwalk to reach a small center guarded by
droids. The marker is there.

Level Two
To get the first marker, cut off the hologram power in the
battle room (there are four green pressing panels) and drop
down to where the hologram was. Then follow the hallway
down past the full health and out onto the series of
catwalks. Look on a catwalk opposite the exit you cam
through, and get the last marker.

Level Three
From the starting point, head up the stairs. Go around the
corner to the right. Use the vase found at the dead end to
hop up and the first marker is there. Then, backtrack to
the starting point, and swim to the island where the
citizen is held captive. Jump to the grass, and grab the
ledge to your left, and hop up again to get the second
marker. From here, go past the halfway point. Get to the
ledge where the waterfall switch is, and look down and find
the grass to jump to on your left. Jump to it, then to the
ring where the next marker is. Get the marker, and
carefully get back to the switch. Falling automatically
kills you, so be alert. Once you're at the switch, hit it,
and go back to the area with the machine gun that the droid
used. The door next to it is open now. Fall down, get the
marker, and let the elevator take you back up. Finish the
level.

Level Four
After Asha opens the first door and you are in the next
room, get onto the balcony near the snipers nest using the
small outcroppings. The marker is there. In the next room,
jump to the nearest wall where you see a droid. Kill him,
and go up all of the stairs, killing any enemies. You will
see a sniper nest. Throw your saber at the sniper, and
force jump and cling to his nest. If you fall, you land in
water and will be okay. Once you're in the nest, you will
see the marker. Get it, and jump down. The next marker is
in the main hall where there are many assassin and battle
droids. The marker is in a ledge above the door. Jump to
it. Go into the Queen's room, and before the assassin
droids appear, look behind the desk for the marker. It can
be done with the droids.

Level Five
When you see the guy who gives you grenades, take the upper
path through the streets to the left. Go to the area where
you are above the tank, and drop grenades on it. Then, go
back to the area before that with the cannons, and the
marker is right there. If you didn't destroy the tank, you
may be fired on, which is instant death. The second marker
is inside the small fountain at the end of the street just
after the first marker. To get the third, you have to get
near the halfway point, and find the marker in another
fountain. The fourth is acquired by jumping into the water
from the bridge after the loading point and heading towards
the right side of the waterfall. Climb the ledge, and
follow the path up near the cannon. Jump onto the large
vase, and then to the room on your left. The marker is
there.
Medal Locations-Chapter 4

Level One
The first medal is on the upper mountain path inside the
large abandoned hut with three sniper rifles. Grab it and
move on. The second marker is just down the path from the
first marker. Jump from ledge to ledge and get it at the
end of the small canyon. The third is after the halfway
point. Exit the village and watch for the grenades the
Tuskans throw. Look for a door on the right of the building
leading to another village section, Go through the cave,
and when you're outside, look for the marker on the ledge
above you. From here, finish the level.

Level Two
This is an easy one. From the start, fall to the ground
below you and look under the bridge you were on. The marker
is right there. The, run around the bottom of the room
until you are under the other bridge, where the last marker
is. Beat the level like normal.
Medal Locations-Chapter 5
Level One
The first marker is on a ledge above the starting point.
The marker is inside the waterfall. From there, make it to
the large pond in the first courtyard. Near the pond is a
sniper's nest. Drop from the nest onto a ledge and get the
marker. To the right of the cannon there is a series of
ledges separated by waterfalls and giant vases. Follow the
ledges to reach a plateau with a small cave containing the
second marker. Just past the courtyard with the cannons are
bushes near the right wall. The marker is hidden in them.
The next marker is just outside of the tower the pilots are
in. It is on a ledge outside the back of the tower.

Level Two
Go past the first baron droid and follow the path tot the
left. Don't touch any doors. Near the tree at the dead end,
there is a vase. Jump on it and get to the balcony on the
right and find the marker in the small side room. Pass
through the door with the next baron droid, and pass the
Resistance fighter. In the left corner of the rim, look for
a large vase, and jump onto it, and then you need to jump
to the balcony. Then jump from the left side of the balcony
to another ledge, and look in the room to your left to find
the second marker. On you reach the tunnel on the upper
path after the halfway point, go strait instead of right.
Look for a small balcony next to the snipers nest, and jump
to it, and then to the next balcony and force jump to the
room above where the next medal is located. Instead of
leaping into the water from the main path, in order to get
the fourth medal you have to take the stairs to the right,
and make an immediate left once inside the tunnel. Go up
the stairs to the balcony and drop down from the left of
the balcony and find the medal inside the small room.
Backtrack to the part with the rim. Go up the stairs as
normal, but instead of going up to where the courtyard
stairs are, look in the water near the waterfalls, and if
your in the right place, you will be on top of the falls
where you will see a black room in one of the waterfalls.
Jump into the room, and follow the hall. You will be in a
"secret" area. Go up the stairs, and force jump onto the
balconies on your right. There are three. When you get to
the top, look for small balconies near the end of the
walkway. The marker is in the open room at the top right
balcony. Either use the way out that you will see when you
jump the balconies, or backtrack and go that way. Either
way leads to the final courtyard with the turbo-blaster
cannon. Beat the level.

Level Three
This is quite the break for me. When you start the level,
turn around and walk pas the Resistance fighter and find
the marker. The next two markers are in the side rooms
where droids come out. They are not in the floor rooms. Go
in each one and get the medal, but don't lock yourself in
by disabling the shields when you enter. The last one is by
the tank in the left (meaning left of the entrance facing
the way you were when the level started). Get the medals
and beat the level.

Level Four
When you start, walk towards the center hole. Jump just a
bit in it so you can grab the ledge. Walk around the ledge
hugging the wall until you get the marker. If you fall, you
die. Then, jump out, and force push Darth Maul to prevent
him from hitting you. Then, go to the entrance, and jump up
onto the platform. Walk to the right, and jump up onto the
bridge. Follow the walkway until you get the option to jump
again. Then, jump up and get the other marker near the
health icon. Don't fall off this; you die. Instead, walk
down the platforms like normal. Beat Maul, and you won the
medals.

So what d you get for getting all of the medals? It's a
super secret that only a few know. But I'll tell you. You
get...
(Spoiler)

Absolutely nothing! Yeah, you just wasted your time. What?
I should have told you before? But that would ruin the
point of this FAQ. But you have earned my respect, and have
earned bragging rights, so congratulations!
The Other Medals
In this section, I will list the other medals, and good
ways to get them.

Force-In every mission, there are enemies. You get this
medal by using the force successfully against them. Putting
those together, all you have to do is force push an enemy
many times, and them you have the medal. If you die,
though, the medal resets.

Accuracy-To get this medal, you need an 80% accuracy score
with our saber. One other thing that supernova pointed out
to me was that you could hit certain items to increase your
accuracy. The obstruction in the first level is one
example, and the cement mixers in the next will also work.
The vases in the Naboo levels also lead to better accuracy.
Another thing was pointed out to me. This was from Mr. Elf.
There is a way to play slow motion through an entire level.
First, slow time, then, immediately throw your saber. When
time reverts to normal, wait until your force drains a bit
below halfway. Then, slow time again. After about six
seconds and your saber returns, let go of the force button,
and time will stay slowed. To get out of this, slow it
again. This is the easiest way to get better accuracy when
fighting enemies.

Life-Practice a level a bit, and try to complete in one
life. You will then get this medal. The slow time trick
works well since you can see attacks coming.

Time-This requires you to beat a level in a certain amount
of time. Do your best, and run from enemies instead of
fighting.

All That Wasted Time
You see, you just wasted your time doing the medals. But in
a way, it wasn't a waste. You completed a challenge. And
why the medals were in this game is just a mystery. As of
now, there is no point to them. It was first thought out to
be the key to Darth Maul but was proven to be a waste of
time to try, as it did nothing. If anyone knows what they
do, e-mail me.
