1 - INTRODUCTION

This game is based on the new Shrek 2 film written and created by
Dreamworks. Some parts are similar to the film - the general outline is but
the actual events are slightly different.

Shrek, the ugly ogre, was perfectly happy living in his swamp, until Lord
Farquaad of Duloc starting banishing all the other fairy tale animals from
his kingdom, who in turn invading Shrek's swamp. Shrek set out on a quest
to find Princess Fiona for Lord Farquaad in return for the animals leaving
his swamp alone. This he did and fell in love with Fiona, who in turn
became an ogress.

Shrek 2 meets back up with the ogre couple after they return from their
honeymoon and find themselves being invited to Fiona's parents' kingdom Far
Far Away. Shrek isn't over keen on going but he does so to keep Fiona
happy. When Prince Charming, the Fairy Godmother's son, finds out that
Fiona is already happily married, all hell breaks loose. Shrek convinces
himself that Fiona would rather be with a Prince Charming instead of an
ogre, and so takes a potion to make himself handsome. After fighting his
way back to the castle to prove he loves Fiona, she tells him that she
loves him just the way he was. They live happily ever after. AAAAAHHHHHH!

You can play this game as multiplayer up to 4 players - one for each
available character. Each character will have a different coloured circle
underneath it. I haven't played it as multiplayer, so I can't really say
what it's like.

In this guide I refer to numbered snapshots - this is not the number order
you have collected them in, but the order in which they appear in the
Snapshots sections in the Pause menu i.e. you may have collected only 3
snapshots, but I might have said they were the 1st, 4th and 2nd snapshots
as you have collected them in this order.

3 - CHARACTERS

SHREK          - Big, green, ugly ogre with a kind heart. He has just
                Married Princess Fiona. He punches, jumps, kicks like a
                wrestler and can belly flop his enemies. He can also pick
                up objects and enemies if they are dizzy and throw them.

PRINCESS FIONA - Big, green and ugly ogress. She has just married Shrek
                after falling in love and turning into her true self when
                kissed by love's true kiss. She uses lots of karate moves
                to defeat her enemies. She can slow down time to catch
                fast moving enemies or avoid quick moving enemies.

DONKEY         - A donkey! A grey donkey! A grey donkey who never stops
                talking! He kicks likes a donkey and can send his enemies
                flying with strong kick of his hind legs. He has a
                powerful Burro Blast which can smash open gates and
                barrels amongst other things.

GINGERBREAD MAN -A gingerbread man with a candy cane as his weapon. He can
                spin his candy cane ninja style to kill his enemies. He
                can also throw cookies to entice enemies so he can go
                round them or to attack them easier.

LIL' RED       - Otherwise known as Little Red Riding Hood. She can kick,
                hit enemies with her basket of apples and throw apples at
                them. She skips everywhere as well. If she has any rotten
                apples she can aim them at her enemies to cause lots of
                damage.

PUSS IN BOOTS  - A swashbuckling cat complete with thigh high boots and a
                feather in his cap. He fights with his sword.  He can also
                walk along ropes and chains like a circus tightrope walker
                to help others in sticky situations.

BIG BAD WOLF   - Dressed in a nightie and cap, he certainly looks like
                Grandma, but my Grandma sure doesn't fight like this.
                He can kick and punch like the others, but his special
                ability is to blow and blow and blow. He can knock
                enemies over and knock walls down with his powerful
                breath.

FAIRY          - Flying little girl with wings and a magic wand. Uses fairy
                magic to defeat her enemies.  It shoots like a pea
                shooter.  She has to ability to sprinkle fair dust on her
                enemies as well as her friends.  It makes both of them fly
                or float for limited amounts of time.

MIRROR         - Not a playable character, but appears regularly to give
                helpful hints.  Press O button to speak to it.


4 - ENEMIES

All of the enemies in this game are easy to kill.

SNAILS         - Hit them once to make them lose their shells. Hit them
                again to kill them.

ROBIN HOOD     - Can't fight on his own so brings his Merry Men along to do
                his dirty work for him. Only found in the swamp.

TURTLES        - Hit them once to turn them onto their backs and then hit
                them again a few times more to kill them.

PIRANHAS       - Nasty fish that bite. Hit them a couple of times to kill
                them and avoid them if they are jumping in the air.

PUMPKINS       - Little ones need a couple of hits to kill them - they will
                spit fire at you. The giant pumpkins have a health bar to
                show how much you've hit them.

RATS           - Nasty ankle biters. Only need one or two hits to kill
                them.

BATS           - Don't hurt you but will stop you from getting past. Use
                Slow Time to get past them.

HUMANS         - Come in sort of shapes and sizes.  Some take more hits
                than others but still easy to kill.

FAIRY GODMOTHER- A plump, little fairy with glasses and a powerful magic
                wand. Has a bad temper as well.

SPIDERS        - Little ones only take one hit to kill, but if there is a
                egg sac (like in Alien) they will constantly appear until
                you smash the egg sac. Like the pumpkins, the giant spider
                has a health bar but do not take many hits to kill.

TROLLS         - Big, ugly bluey-purple creatures. They throw bombs at you,
                so when they start ticking quickly hit them back at the
                troll. If it hits him, he will try to run and hit you with
                his club.

FROGS          - Very large frogs with tridents. Fairly easy to kill
                needing only a few hits.

STONE WARRIORS - Large stone statues brought to life by the Fairy
                Godmother. These are probably the hardest enemy to kill.
                Watch out for their axes.


5 - CONTROLS

LEFT ANALOG STICK   - Move character
RIGHT ANALOG STICK  - Control camera, zoom and rotate camera
DIRECTIONAL BUTTONS - Move character
X BUTTON                - Jump
SQUARE BUTTON       - Attack
TRIANGLE BUTTON     - Special Ability (see below for more details)
O BUTTON            - Action button
R1 BUTTON           - Tap to select next character
L1 BUTTON           - Tap to select previous character
START               - Pause menu
SELECT              - Displays HUB display - i.e. the number of coins,
                     magic beans etc you've collected

All the characters have different special moves, using the same buttons.

X, SQUARE           - Jump Attack in all (belly flop in Shrek)
TRIANGLE BUTTON     - Shrek - Lifts and puts down objects (use Square while
                     lifting an object to aim it and release button to
                     throw it).
TRIANGLE BUTTON     - Fiona - Uses her Slow Time if she has the ammunition.
TRIANGLE BUTTON     - Donkey - Burro Blast for smashing open gates etc.
TRIANGLE BUTTON     - Gingerbread Man - Throws a cookie if he has
                     ammunition. Hold button to aim before releasing.
TRIANGLE BUTTON     - Lil' Red - Throws rotten apples if she has
                     ammunition. Hold button to aim before releasing.
TRIANGLE BUTTON     - Big Bad Wolf - Huff n' Puff breath.  Aim using stick.
TRIANGLE BUTTON     - Puss In Boots - Walks on ropes and chains.
TRIANGLE BUTTON     - Fairy - Floating ability. Hold button to aim before
                     releasing.

To fly the dragon you use:
LEFT ANALOG STICK   - Move character
DIRECTIONAL BUTTONS - Move character
DOWN ON STICK       - Dive
UP ON STICK         - Climb

You can invert these controls in the Options screen.


6 - GAME PLAY

THE BUDDY SYSTEM
You play in a team of 4 characters, which may change with each new chapter.
You can select which one character to play as by pressing the R1 and L1
buttons. If the character you're playing as is knocked out, the next
character in the list will be automatically selected. You can switch
between characters at any time except when one is knocked out or during
Hero Time.

HERO TIME
At the end of most levels or during a level, one character will be
specially chosen to complete a task by him/herself, using their own
abilities.

MULTIPLYER MODE
You can play this game with up to 4 players, each with a different coloured
circle under their character. You cannot swap between characters if 4
players are playing, but if there are more than 1 but less than 4 you can
swap between the player controlled and computer controlled characters.

BONUS LEVELS
Bonus Levels appear after you have collected a certain number of snapshots.
If you press the Start button you can choose a bonus level, all of which
mainly consist of collecting coins for extra money and going to the exit
before the time runs out. Only selected characters can play each bonus
level. You can choose to do a bonus level at any time and as many times as
you like, but if you leave a level in the middle of it you may have to
start the whole level again. There are 5 bonus levels and 2 previews to
select from.


7 - ITEMS

SNAPSHOTS        - You need to complete tasks to collect up to 7 snapshots
                  in each level to complete the game 100% and receive
                  bonus levels.

GOLD COINS       - Collect these around the game and when you kill enemies
                  to pay for upgrades and to pay Larry the Leprechaun to
                  open gates for you.

MAGIC BEANS      - Collect 12 of these in each level (except the 4th and
                  last levels) to get a snapshot.

HALF HEALTH      - Bluey-purple potion bottle. Replenishes the whole
                  party's health by 50%.

FULL HEALTH      - Pink potion bottle. Replenishes the whole party's health
                  by 100%.  Will revive knocked out characters.

DEFENCE POWER-UP - Blue potion bottle. Temporarily makes the whole party
                  invulnerable to all enemies.

ATTACK POWER-UP  - Orange potion bottle. Temporarily increases the whole
                  party's attack damage.

FROG POWER-UP    - Green potion bottle. Temporarily turns enemies into
                  small frogs making them easier to kill.

SHREK PLATFORM   - A wooden crate with Shrek's green head shape emblem on
                  which Shrek only can pick up and move.

SHREK GEAR       - A cog which Shrek can pick up and place on machines,
                  such as cranes to make things work and move.

TNT BARREL       - Shrek can pick these up and throw them at enemies to
                  kill lots of them quickly.  Other characters can smash
                  them for the same effects.  They do not cause any damage
                  to the party, only to enemies.



Up grades can also be bought at Larry the Leprechaun's shop in the
following levels.  You do need lots of money for the later upgrades.


8 - WALKTHROUGH

CHAPTER 1 - SHREK'S SWAMP

- You start with Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and Gingerbread Man.

- You need to collect 18 eyeballs from around the area, so kill the
 snails. When you have found them all you will get your 1st snapshot
 and the first gate to Robin Hood's area will open.

- There is a rock on top of some platforms near Shrek's house. Smash it to
 release the 1st dwarf, who asks you to rescue his 6 brothers.

- Hit the outhouse for lots of coins.

- Pull the switch to open the gate into Robin Hood's area. Kill the snails
 and collect the coins. Smash the rock to release the 2nd dwarf. Move the
 Shrek Platform to jump up to get more coins and a bean.

- Go up the ramp to be ambushed by Robin Hood and his Merry Men. Kill them
 all to get the 2nd snapshot.

- Head left, watching out for the cage traps on the floor. Smash the rocks
 to release the cages if anyone steps in and get caught.

- Kill all the enemies and collect all the coins. Kill everything, jumping
 up on to the platforms to collect everything. Smash the rock to release
 the 3rd dwarf.

- Head right through the gate that opened when you defeated the Merry Men.
 Smash the rock to release the 4th dwarf, kill the turtles and hit the
 target to open the gate.

- Larry the Leprechaun will tell you that he will only open the gate if
you collect 12 fairies for him. Use Fiona and the Slow Time you should
have collected from near the Mirror. Press the Triangle button to
activate the Slow Time, which slows everyone down, but you can collect
all the fairies much quicker this way. When you've collected them all
just by touching them, speak to Larry and he'll open the gate for you.
You'll receive the 3rd snapshot.

- Go through the gate and kill the turtles or you use one to throw at the
 target. If you kill them all, Gingerbread Man can jump and throw his
 candy cane at the target to open the gate.

- Throw the cookie and kill any piranhas that come out of the water. Clear
 the area of enemies, then smash the rock to release the 5th dwarf.

- Stand Shrek on one end of the see-saw and another character on the other
 end. Make Shrek do a belly flop to throw the other character into the air
 and over the fence to open the gate.

- Move the platform nearer to the rock to collect more coins - look for
 their shadows on the floor. Smash the rock to release the 5th dwarf.

- Go through the gate and repeat the see-saw trick to collect lots of
 coins.

- Go down the slope to find Lil' Red at Shrek's house with a large cauldron
 and lots of chickens running around. She'll tell you that she needs to
 collect them for her Grandmother, so kick or punch the chickens into the
 cauldron. When you have collected them all you'll receive the 4th
 snapshot and the other gate will open.

- Head left. Use Gingerbread Man to jump on the springy platform to get to
 the ledge and hit the target to open the gate. Kill all the enemies and
 smash the rock to release the 6th dwarf.

- Head right. Use Gingerbread Man to hit the target and open the gate.
 There are lots of crocodiles jumping out of the water and the mirror
 tells you to use Slow Time to get past, so do so. Press the Triangle
 button just as the crocodiles are returning to the water and run across.

- Get the coins from above the crates. Kill everything.

- Use Gingerbread Man to hit the target and lower a platform for you to
 walk across. Use the Gingerbread Man's ninja style throw to hit the rock
 on the other platform a few times to release the 7th dwarf and receive
 the 7th snapshot.

- You get the 6th snapshot when you've collected all 12 magic beans. See
 the locations list below for details.

- Use Donkey to smash open the gate. Move the crate to the ledge and
 collected everything up there. Then move the crate to the platform with
 the switch on. Jump up and pull the switch to open the gate to
 Grandmother's Cottage.

- After short cut scene it's Fiona's Hero Time. She needs to sing to
 collect as many blackbirds as possible for the pie. Press the correct
 button when the symbol reaches the ? to win and receive the 5th snapshot.
 You don't need to collect all the blackbirds to win.




CHAPTER 2 - SPOOKY FOREST

- You now have Lil' Red instead of the Gingerbread Man as well as Shrek,
 Fiona and Donkey.

- The whole point of this level is to protect the mice throughout.

- Ring the bell to open the gate by jumping up at hitting it.

- Kill the witch's men and collect al the coins.

- Use Donkey's Burro Blast to knock over the tree to make a bridge and get
 the 1st snapshot.

- Use Lil' Red to throw an apple at the bell and open the gate. Then use
 her to throw apples at the mousetraps so the mice don't get killed.

- When you've killed all the enemies, one of the mice will go through the
 mouse hole to open the gate.

- Use Donkey straight away to cross and jump the bridge and kick down the
 tree as the mice constantly jump in the water trying to get the cheese.

- You can now either cross the stone bridge or use Slow Time with Fiona to
 get the coins on the platform. You have to use it as the bats won't let
 you across otherwise.

- Pull the switch to lower the bridge.

- Kill everyone and everything to get the 3rd snapshot and to lower the
 bridge.

- Ring the bell to release the rats.  Kill them and then pull the switch to
 open the gate.

- Throw rotten apples at the mousetraps, which also knocks the tree over.
 If it doesn't just use Donkey. Use donkey to knock the next one over
 also.

- Use Slow Time with Fiona to get past the bats.

- On the right is Crazy Larry the Leprechaun - speak to him and he'll sell
 you upgrades.

- There's another ambush near the inn - kill everyone to get the 4th
 snapshot.

- A mouse will open the gate as before.

- As before you can go over the bridges or use Slow Time to get past the
 bats and collect the coins.

- To continue you have to pay the leprechaun 100 coins so he'll open the
 gate.

- Destroy the mousetraps with Lil' Red and her apples.

- Use Donkey to kick down the tombstones so the mice don't fall in the
 graves.

- The mirror will tell you what to do with the rotten apples, but you
 should have worked that out by now.  Destroy the mousetraps.

- The mice go into Pest Cemetery - throw apples through the hole in the
 fence to kill the rats. Knock down the tombstones with Donkey and smash
 the tombs for coins to get the 5th snapshot.

- Break the log and kill all the enemies. Use Lil' Red to throw apples at
 the mousetraps that the mice try to get. Use Donkey to smash open the
 gate for the 6th snapshot.

- Head to Granny's house where Fiona, in the carriage, is sent down the
 hill by the Fairy Godmother. It's Donkey's Hero Time with Dragon. Chase
 the carriage, avoiding bridges, trees and piles of twigs and collecting
 as many coins as possible. It may take you a few goes - it did me I kept
 crashing on the last section. Complete for the 7th snapshot.

- Collect all the magic beans for the 2nd snapshot. See the locations list
 below for details.



CHAPTER 3 - FAR FAR AWAY

- You start with Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and Lil' Red again.

- Take the road on the 1st right from where you start for the Chicken
 challenge. Kick or punch the 12 chickens into the area behind the gate
 near the monk statue for the 1st snapshot. It's the same as the chicken
 soup challenge basically.

- Up the stairs near the fountains are 2 magic beans. Stand on the yellow
 floor switch to open the gates. Then change character to stand on the
 switch behind the gates to keep them open or just get the beans with the
 2nd character.

- Back on the main road, take the 1st left to the Troll challenge. Follow
 the troll around the museum collecting the 196 pieces of jewellery he
 drops. Keep out of his way as he kills you with 1 hit. Complete for the
 3rd snapshot.

- Back on the main road, near the armoury on the right is the Thugs
 challenge. You need to stun the 12 thugs, pick them up and throw them in
 the back of the paddy wagon. I belly flopped near them to stun them as it
 was quicker than punching them and you didn't get punched yourself. Don't
 forget to collect the beans while you are there. Complete this for the
 6th snapshot.

- Directly opposite the Thugs challenge on the left hand side of the road
 is the Cinderella challenge. You have to protect Cinderella by killing
 the muggers who reappear every time she moves to a different window.
 Complete this for the 4th snapshot.

- At the next left on the main road is the Humpty challenge. You have to
 collect 7 pieces of Humpty's shell using the springy platforms and golden
 carriages to jump up on to ledges etc. Complete this for the 5th
 snapshot. Kill the people as well if they attack you.

- On the right at the end is the Pied Piper/Rats challenge. You have to
 kill 175 rats. Again I belly flopped them as it was quicker. When they
 are all killed, you have to kill the Pied Piper. I only hit him once with
 Shrek. Complete this for the 2nd snapshot.

- When you're ready and have collected all the magic beans for the 7th
 snapshot, go to the king and select go to next level. If you have missed
 any of the beans out that were in the challenges, you can go back and do
 the challenges again to get them.

- Collect all the magic beans for the 7th snapshot. See the locations list
 below for details.



CHAPTER 4 - OGRE KILLER

- Shrek, Donkey, Gingerbread Man and Lil' Red are attacked by Puss In Boots
 in the forest!

- Press the correct buttons when they reach the ?. Puss In Boots will
 attack each character in turn.

- There are 3 rounds with a snapshot at the end of each.

- This is a very easy 1st boss.


CHAPTER 5 - WALKING THE PATH

- You start with Shrek, Donkey, Gingerbread Man and Puss In Boots.

- Kill the snails and collect the eyeballs - you need to collect 50 in all.

- Push the switch to make a safe bridge and go across it.

- Kill the pumpkins - focus on the large ones, the other characters will
 get the little ones. Kill all for the 1st snapshot.

- Pick up the cog and put it on the crane to move the logs and head
 left and kill everything.

- Use the see-saw to flick up Puss In Boots so he can walk across the rope
 and collect the coins and bean.

- Use Donkey to smash open the gate and the spinning barrel when it stops
 spinning. Pick up the cog. Use Puss In Boots to walk across the rope and
 push the switch.

- Put the cog on the crane. Kill the pumpkins and flip Puss In Boots up on
 the see-saw again so he can walk along the rope and pull another switch.

- Use the potion to turn all the men into frogs - it makes them much easier
 to kill.

- Use Donkey to open the gate and smash the barrel again.  Get the cog.
 Use Puss In Boots to walk across the rope for another bean,

- Use the cog but before you go any further, head left, use Puss In Boots
 to walk across the rope and pull the switch, kill the pumpkins and men
 and speak to William Gruff who wants your help crossing the bridge to get
 home.

- Kill everything in his way.  If he gets too scared or hit too often he'll
 go back to the start. You can kill everything first and then take him
 across. Complete for the 2nd snapshot.

- Pull the switch to lower the blade. Run across the blades when they are
 away from you. Pull the switch to lower the blades and jump on the
 springy platform for a bean.

- Kill the men and pumpkins. At the log and bridge paths it doesn't matter
 which one you take as you need to go up both anyway. Use Donkey to kick
 the crane to move the logs.

- Use Puss In Boots to cross the rope and push the switch. Kill all the men
 for coins and snails for more eyeballs. Leave Puss In Boots there and use
 another character to pull the 2nd switch.

- Speak to Larry the Leprechaun who charges you 200 coins to open the gate.

- Again cross the moving blades when they're away from you so you can push
 the switch.

- Use the frog potion on the men and pumpkins and kill them all.

- Use Donkey on the crane again. Cross the 2nd rope to pull the switch.
 Leave Puss In Boots there and use another character to pull the 2nd
 switch. Kill all the pumpkins and snails and use Puss In Boots to pull
 the 3rd switch. Kill all the men.

- Get Shrek to pick up the cog and put it on the crane.

- Meet William Gruff (or another Billy Goat gruff) and escort him over the
 bridge as before.

- Kill everything - you should get the 7th snapshot for the 50 eyeballs by
 now if you have killed and collect everything.

- Kill everything like before and get the 3rd snapshot when complete.

- Use Donkey to kick the crane and Shrek to put the cog on the 2nd crane.

- You now meet a troll torturing another goat. He is very easy to kill.
 He'll throw bombs at you. Wait until they start bleeping fast before you
 hit them back at him, as he'll only throw them back at you. After each
 hit a bottle of Full Health appears and he'll try to hit you so run away
 from him. Hit him 3 times to kill him and get the 4th snapshot.

- Now it is Puss In Boots Hero Time. Jump across the platforms and walk
 across the ropes, collecting all the coins up to the top for the 5th
 snapshot.

- Collect all the magic beans for the 6th snapshot. See the locations list
 below for details.



CHAPTER 6 - JACK AND JILL'S FARM

- You start with Shrek, Donkey, Gingerbread Man and Puss In Boots.

- Smash the giant carrots to get through and the giant apple in the far
 right corner of the next field to get a worm.

- Hit the cow until it gets up and smashes open the gate.

- Use Gingerbread Man to hit the target and lower the bridge. Hit the cow
 again.

- Kill the men and smash the giant carrots to reveal a box and a platform
 and a bean. Move the box to the platform and use Gingerbread Man to climb
 up and hit the target to lower the blade.

- Throw the cookie to attract the bees so you can get past. Talk to the 3
 Little Pigs who ask you to do chores around the farm.

- Go right to Jack's well. It's now Gingerbread Man's Hero Time. Avoid
 being hit by the giant tomatoes using the fields to wait in - some have
 coins in so collect them. Head far left and jump on a white daisy, then a
 yellow daisy in front and another white on the right. Diagonally jump to
 the path after the giant tomatoes have rolled down. Instead of jumping
 off there you can continue jumping towards the right for a golden egg.

- Now there's 2 giant tomatoes together. Kill the pumpkins and jump on the
 yellow daisy. Head to the left and back round to the tallest white daisy
 for a bean and golden egg, then head back to the path.

- This time there's 3 giant tomatoes to avoid. Jump on the daisies avoiding
 the rolling tomatoes to get another bean. Go up the path to get the
 bucket and the 5th snapshot.

- From the main area head to the Haystack for the Needle in a Haystack
 challenge. There is an enclosed area on the way containing a bean and a
 giant apple with a worm.

- Kill the rats while knocking down the haystacks. Pick up the giant needle
 to win and get the 4th snapshot.

- Head to the chicken coop. Climb across the 1st vine to get a bean. Climb
 across the 2nd avoiding the thorns to push the switch.

- Kill the pumpkins and get the crate. Move the crate to the platforms near
 the blade. Jump up and push the switch.

- Kill the men and pumpkins. Push the switch and get the cookie.

- Use Donkey to open the gate for the beanstalk challenge. Keep killing the
 rats to stop them eating the beanstalk for the 2nd snapshot.

- Smash the giant carrots and hit the cow towards the gate throwing cookies
 at the bees to attract them.

- Go to the Egg Catching challenge. Move your character (doesn't matter
 which) up and down standing in the blue circles to catch the eggs the
 chickens throws at you. Catch at least 50 eggs in the time to win for the
 1st snapshot.

- Head to the cornfield for the chicken challenge. Hit the chickens until
 they fly away. Kill all the pumpkins and hit the cow to open the gate. In
 the last field, don't forget to climb up the platforms to get the worms
 in the apples. Get all the chickens for the 3rd snapshot.

- Go back to the pond and use the cookies to get past the bees to get the
 remaining apples and worms for the 7th snapshot.

- Speak to any pig to go to the next level.

- Collect all of the magic beans for the 6th snapshot. See the locations
 list below for details.


CHAPTER 7 - FAIRY GODMOTHER'S

- You start with Shrek, Donkey, Lil' Red and Puss In Boots.

- Smash up everything for coins and collect the beans near the door and
 behind the counter.

- Kill the guards in the second room before picking up the crystal ball and
 putting it in the stand to get past the 1st set of beams. When everyone
 has crossed the beams, take the crystal ball out of the stand and put it
 in the second stand.

- Kill the guards again and smash the cases with Donkey to get 2 more
 crystal balls and deflect the beams as before.

- Pick up the cog, collect the bean and then put the cog on the door for
 Lil' Red's Hero Time. Throw apples at the Fairy Godmother, jumping to
 avoid her spells. After the 1st round, the platform you're on moves
 backwards. After the 2nd round boxes some up onto the platform, so you
 will need to jump them or get the Fairy Godmother to break them with her
 spells. Complete this easy boss to get the 1st snapshot.

- You're now in a round room full of potion bottles and you need to get to
 the top. Put Donkey on the wooden platform and Lil' Red on the floor
 switch to raise the platform. Get Donkey to smash the case and go near
 the next floor switch.

- Send up Shrek from the ground floor to the next level near Donkey. Get
 the cog and place it on to the other cog to make the next platform work.

- Send up Puss In Boots up as far as he can go and walk round crossing the
 ropes (can be quite hard to see so look out for the triangle symbol).
 Smash the case and collect the potion bottle for the 3rd snapshot.

- The Fairy Godmother returns so run away for her avoiding the boxes and
 cases that she knocks down with her spells for the 2nd snapshot.

- In the next room the men keep coming so don't spend all your time killing
 them. Run to the end of the room and smash the big vat of potion to open
 the door and get the 4th snapshot.

- In this next room you have to beat Prince Charming. Hit him until he
 jumps away and sends his knights to fight instead. When you've killed all
 the knights, he'll jump back down, so hit him while you can. Repeat this
 until he runs off for the 5th snapshot.

- In the next room kill the 4 guards, collect the bean and use Shrek to put
 the cog on the door to open it.

- Kill the next set of guards.  Continue moving round killing all the
 guards until the cut scene appears after which you have to run away from
 the rolling cauldron. Jump over the flames and pipes and round obstacles.
 Complete it for the 6th snapshot and to end the level.

- Collect the magic beans for the 7th snapshot. See the locations list
 below for details.


CHAPTER 8 - PRISON BREAK

- You start with Wolf, Lil' Red, Gingerbread Man and Fairy.

- Move along the wall collecting the coins and avoiding the lights. Stand
 on the floor switches to reveal a target - shoot at it with Gingerbread
 Man and extinguish the lights.

- At the end use 2 characters to stand on the floor switches at the same
 time to open the gate.

- In the next area, before you move the ball, jump on the cages on both
 sides to collect coins and a bean.

- Push or blow the ball on to the floor switch so it lowers the gate. Kill
 the spiders.

- Using Wolf, blow the ball up the slops and on to the switch to release
 the cage from the other switch so you can pull it.

- There are some rotten apples on the suspended cages on the right.

- Roll the ball down the slope to smash the gate. Release the 1st prisoner
 in the corridor. Avoid the light and stand on the floor switch and hit
 the target that appears. If you do stand on the light the guards will
 keep coming until you hit the target.

- Use Wolf to blow down the broken wall to destroy the 2 spiders' nest, get
 a bean and kill the giant spider.

- Kill the guards and spiders before opening the prison cell door to
 release the 2nd prisoner.

- Stand 2 characters on the platforms at the end. Jump on one and the other
 goes up. Keep doing this until the stairs come up and lock.

- Release the 3rd prisoner at the top of the stairs.

- Walk round the edge and jump over on to the floor switch to release a big
 ball, which if you time it right will kill the guard. Continue round and
 release the 4th prisoner.

- Go up the steps and jump on the suspended cage to release the 1st
 Porkchop Brother and make a bridge.

- Push or blow the big ball trough the cage bridge to kill the guard. If
 you try to hit him, as soon as he sees you more guards keep coming.

- Jump across the cages at the end for coins.

- Open the cage with the 1st blind mouse in.

- Keeping jumping on the platform until the steps lock as before.

- Go up the steps, smash the spiders' nest and kill the spiders.

- Stand 1 character on the cage and jump with another on the platform so
 the 1st character can pull the switch to lower the bridge.

- Smash the spiders' nest, kill the spiders and release the 5th prisoner.

- Head left, going down the stairs to avoid the guards. Use Wolf to blow
 down the wall. Destroy the nests and kill the spiders including the giant
 spider. Collect the bean and coins.

- Head right, jump on to the cage and up to the switch.

- Go down the stairs and push the ball up the slope and onto the floor
 switch to release the 2nd Porkchop brother for the 1st snapshot and to
 move the stairs.

- Destroy the spiders' nest and kill the spiders before rolling the ball
 down the slope to smash open the gate to Larry's shop and a bean.

- Go through the smashed gate and destroy another nest and kill the spiders
 again. Speak to Larry to buy upgrades. Pull the switch the lower the
 wall.

- Head back round to where the pig was to fight a troll. Kill him in the
 same way as before - hitting the bombs back at him for the 6th snapshot.

- Go back up and release the 2nd blind mouse.

- Jump up the suspended cages to get a bean. Go under the guards to avoid
 being seen by them.

- Stand 2 characters on the floor switches and hit the target with the
 Gingerbread Man.

- Jump up on to the cages and platform to stand on a switch to turn off the
 light.

- Go left across the platforms near the door to get a bean and the 6th
 prisoner.

- Go up the platforms to the right and stand on the floor switch to turn
 off the beam. Release the 7th prisoner and 3rd blind mouse. Get the 2nd
 snapshot for the mice.

- Go into the next room and destroy the spiders' nest and kill the spiders.

- Stand a character on the floor switch to select a cage and another a
 character to jump on the platform to raise the cage. Do this for the all
 the cages to make steps. Jump up the cages and pull the switch for the
 giant spider to appear. Kill it to get the 5th snapshot.

- The last prisoner is up these steps too. Use Gingerbread Man to throw his
 candy cane at the door to get the 3rd snapshot.

- Now it's Wolf's Hero Time. Jump across the gaps and cages to the top to
 get the key, win and receive the 7th snapshot.

- Collect the magic beans for the 4th snapshot. See the locations list
 below for details.



CHAPTER 9 - THE MINES

- You start with Shrek on Donkey, Gingerbread Man, Puss In Boots and Wolf.

- Use Donkey to kick down the door to kill the frogs and pull the switch.
 Use Gingerbread Man to throw his candy cane at the orange frog on the
 ledge.

- Use Donkey to smash open the next 2 doors and kill everything behind
 them.

- Pull the switch to raise the platform on the left and to lower the
 bridge. Use Puss In Boots to climb up the platform, walk across the rope
 and jump on the platform until the cage in the distance has be raised
 fully. This releases Tiny Tot for the 1st snapshot.

- In the next room kill everything and smash the TNT up so you can destroy
 the spiders' nest. Hit the doors on the right to continue through.

- Again kill the spiders, destroy the nest and kill the frogs to lower a
 wall and reveal a platform and health bottle. Jump on the platform until
 the stairs come up and lock.

- Kill the spiders and use Puss In Boots to walk up the rope to pull the
 switch and reveal a windmill. Use Wolf to blow the windmill to lower the
 bridge. Go across and pull the switch to open the door. The dark green
 frogs keep coming so ignore them. The light green frogs don't.

- Head left, avoiding the piranhas, to pull a switch and collect a bean and
 golden egg.

- Head back to the door and smash the crystals surrounding the platforms.
 Put 1 character on each platform and jump up until the cage raises to
 release Short Fuse for the 2nd snapshot.

- Head left and use Puss In Boots to walk the rope and pull the switch to
 turn the bridge around.

- Continue across and jump on the platforms at the end to move the stairs
 closer. Go up and the Fairy Godmother makes the Stone Warriors come
 alive.

- Killing the 1st Stone Warrior is fairly easy and straight forward - just
 keep hitting him until his energy bar runs out. Get the 5th snapshot.

- In the next room, kill the spiders. Jump on the platforms to raise the
 concrete bridge and kill the spiders and giant spider across it to lower
 the stairs.

- Go up the stairs to kill the frogs and jump on the platform to release
 Little Bird for the 3rd snapshot.

- Head down to the next platform and kill the frogs and get a bean.

- On the next 2 platforms there are more Stone Warriors. This time wait
 until he makes himself dizzy before you hit him as he hits you really
 hard.

- Kill the frogs on the next platform. They appear to keep coming but they
 do stop eventually and release Small Fry for the 4th snapshot and move
 the stairs.

- The final Stone Warrior boss is not much more difficult than the others.
 First get rid of the spiders' nests as the spiders really get in the way.
 Wait until the Warrior is dizzy then attack. Keep out of his way as his
 axe is lethal.

- Shrek and Donkey's Hero Time is in the next room. You have to rescue Snow
 White from the Fairy Godmother while she is riding a cart through the
 mines. Avoid obstacles and collect the coins. Keep chasing her and every
 now and then you hit her with your lance and she will lose energy. Do it
 until her energy runs out completely.

- Collect all the magic beans for the 7th snapshot. See the locations list
 below for details.


CHAPTER 10 - COOKIE, COOKIE

- You start with Shrek on Donkey, Gingerbread Man, Puss In Boots and Wolf.

- Papa Bear asks you to put out the 19 fires and rescue the 26 citizens
 from behind burning doors, so use Wolf's Breath to blow them all out. You
 can reach them all except for 2 so you the hose near the mirror to get
 those. Return to Papa Bear for the 1st snapshot.

- Kill all the knights in the next area and then head round to the top left
 and use Puss In Boots to climb up the rope. Jump on the platform and a
 wooden platform with the others on will raise and give you the 2nd
 snapshot.

- On the 1st rooftop, pull the switch to pump some water into the hose,
 then use the hose to shoot down the knights who are attacking the giant
 Gingerbread Man.

- Jump across the palm tree and smash the TNT to make a ramp for the other
 to get across.

- Use Puss In Boots to climb up the rope and smash the TNT again. Shoot the
 knights again. Jump down to the last rooftop. Kill the knights and wait
 for the giant Gingerbread Man to come and help you down. Jump on his hand
 and he'll put you on the floor.

- After the leprechaun speaks to you, you'll receive the 3rd snapshot.

- Head down screen and speak to the mirror who tells you that you need to
 clear both yours and the giant Gingerbread Man's paths to get to the
 castle by throwing cookies where you want him to hit. So do this using
 the triangle button to aim across the street.

- When all the paddy wagons have been destroyed you get the 4th snapshot.

- When you have destroyed everything, all the knights and their catapults,
 you get the 5th snapshot.

- You are now moved to the castle for Shrek's hero Time. Shoot at the hot
 air balloons so they do not hit the giant Gingerbread Man. He has to have
 some energy left after the 60 seconds are up to get the 6th snapshot.

- Collect all the magic beans for the 7th snapshot. See the locations list
 below for details.


CHAPTER 11 - FINAL FIGHT

- You start with Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and Puss In Boots.

- A battle arena takes place now and you have to kill everything in each
 round to go on to the next. 1st round is knights. 2nd round is potion
 throwing men. 3rd round is 2 bomb-throwing trolls. After each troll dies,
 a Full Health potion bottle appears. After these rounds you get the 1st
 snapshot.

- The Fairy Godmother is next. Avoid the blue circles on the ground as she
 shoots her spells into them. Eventually she will come out of her bubble
 so hit her then. Her energy gets down to about two-thirds before she
 gives up for now and you get the 2nd snapshot.

- Prince Charming now turns up with 3 trolls so kill them in the same way
 as before. Again after each one dies a bottle of Full Health potion
 appears.

- Prince Charming then comes to fight and is easy to kill.

- The Fairy Godmother returns so kill her in the same way as before.

- Shrek and Fiona live happily ever after.

- THE END!

CHAPTER 1
1)  On the high platform near Shrek's house.
2)  Between 2 platforms near the pond.
3)  Above the crate's position on the floor in the area before Robin Hood's
   ambush.
4)  Near the ramp leading up to Robin Hood's ambush.
5)  In the area to the left of Robin Hood's ambush.
6)  In the fairies area, in the bottom left hand corner.
7)  After the area with the fairies.
8)  In the area immediately after the piranhas and shark appear.
9)  Behind the gate after the 1st see-saw on the left.
10) In the crook in the tree after the 1st see-saw on the right.
11) Smash the crates on the left after the crocodiles.
12) On the lowered platform to the 7th dwarf.


CHAPTER 2
1)  Head away from the gate down screen towards the camera.
2)  Under the log after you open the gate.

A very easy game to play, but still quite enjoyable.
