Kurenai: The main Red Ninja. Dressed in a skimpy little red
outfit, her main weapon is the Tetsugen.
A blade that is attached to the wire that she was left to
die on as a child. As a member of the Takeda clan,
she follows orders and listens to Chiyome.
The woman who cut Kurenai down from the tree on which she
was left to die, and saved her life.
Chiyome: The head Ninja of the Takeda clan. Her outfit
resembles that of a nun.
She was Lord Shingen Takeda's mistress, and chief confidant
Akemi: The troublesome, annoying little Ninja that Chiyome
and Kurenai took under their wings.
She leaves little butterflies around with helpful hints and
brings weapons to the ever-forgetful Kurenai.
Zenzo: The only male ninja. You might think that he and
Kurenai have a "thing" going on...
but apparentely Kurenai just looks up to him, and respects
his opinion. He dressed in blue,
and you never see the majority of his face.
Katsuyori: Lord Shingen Takeda's annoying, whiny son. With
his mismatched outfit
and endless supply of wooden sticks... he commands the
Takeda Ninjas.
Lord Shingen Takeda: Head of the Takeda clan, all you see
of him is a shadowy figure
behind a screen and he never says anything.

Level 1 : Assasinating the Vassal
You start out on a hill. There is one soldier at the
bottom. You can stealth kill him. When you turn the corner,
two more soldiers will be there. Continue on the path until
you see a gaurd standing by a door. Kill him before he
calls an archer, collect the key and pass through the door.
-Scene-
-Save-
Follow the path and go left. There will be two gaurds on
that road. The second will be sleeping. Turn on the road,
and you will hear an archer. You can climb up to kill him,
but otherwise ignore him. Once again kill the gaurd to
retrieve a key to the gate.
Follow the path around the walls. Alot of these soldiers
are vulnerable to stealth kills. When you reach a building
with round bushes, there will be a butterfly flying near a
hold under the porch. Crawl through it with B + control
pad.
You are now in the tea house. You'll see a hole in the
ceiling. Go through it. Go left and jump into another hole.
This area has a potion. Exit the room and go to the room on
the left and back into the ceiling. Go into another opening
with a Kunai near it and enter the room.
Exit the room and Go to the room to the right. Enter
another hole and ind an elixer and an amulet. Leave that
room and continue down the hall to another room. Enter a
hole in the ceiling again. Don't go down the immidiate
opening in front of you. Go a bit further and drop down
into that hole. Jump through a second ceiling hole. You
should see a larg opening on the roofing with light coming
from it. Jump up on it.
You'll see a bridge. Jump off the building and go down the
bridge to kill the soldiers one by one. Try to avoid the
water because its difficult to get out of it. There are a
few potions around the area. After you kill the captain go
through the doors.
-Save-
Theres a path, so just follow it and kill whoevers in your
way.
-Scene-
You'll be behind a walled off area. You should duck
immediatly. On your rader you should see that there's a
gaurd walking to the right. When he's walking away from
you, run up and stealth kill him. Equip your blow gun and
aim for the Vassals head.
Next there are five gaurds attacking you. These guys aren't
very aggressive so just focus on taking them out one by
one.
Level 1 Boss : Noh Master
This guy has pretty simple attacks. They are usually
straight forward and kind of speedy. Just always keep him
targeted and keep moving from side to side. Hitting him
with lose range or long range attacks are both fairly easy.
Sometimes he will multiply to three Noh Masters, but just
attack each one until you get the real one.

Level 2 : Mining Town
Jump on the roofs. You can kill people from the roofes, but
they can climb up sometimes. There are lots of potions
hidden behind the buildings in pots. follow the piles of
glowing rice. Make your way up and kill people along the
path. Once your in a clearing, there will be a few gaurds
and a master gate gaurd. Try to kill him first, because the
others will run away. Jump over the gate after pulling the
lever and lower into another room
-Save-
Kill gaurds and go straight through the passage. Ledge hang
off a small ledge and go as far as possible. Head
downstairs.
-Scene-
Equip your new Hook and latch on to a beam and jump
forward. Go back down the passageway and turn right before
entering the first room. Swing over the room and kill the
two guards. Jump up to the beams to find a treasure chest.
Jump to the butterfly and swing over to the switch. Turn
the lever and jump down to go through the opened passage
way.
Jump over the gap in the bridge and hang off the wooden
beams and go out as far as possible. Drop to another beam
and drop again. Hook on to the borken bridge peice and
swing to the passage way. Kill the gaurds and pull the
lever.
go through the open passage. Here you learn Seduction,
which is worthless, but try if you will, and continue down
the passage. Hook onto a beam and then land on a platform
with an oil pot. Wall hug and walk to the other platform.
Do the same again, following the glowing rice. Walk to a
very large platform. Run then JUMP then hook onto a ceiling
beam to get to the other platform. Stealth kill the next
gaurd. theres a wall with an arrow on it. wall run up it to
collect the metel lever at the end of the passage way.
Return to the lever base and use Oil pot and Lever to fix
it. Pull it to open the door.
Kill gaurds after stairs. walk on the beam as far as you
can, jump up and hook onto a beam. Now swing forward and
jump, imidiatly hooking on to another beam further up.
-Save-
Run across the bridge and jump the gap. Stealth Kill the
sleeping gaurds. Go through a mini passageway. Break a box
with a smoke bomb in it, careful not to fall down a cliff.
Go down to find a house on a plat form and kill the gaurds.
Jump up onto a rope hanging across the river. Go leftwards
till your over a platform with a potion. aFter collecting
jump up and go one slide out ad drop down on another
platform. Keep going towards the other side. Run up the
hill and kill the gaurd. This gaurd is the only one that
we've been able to seduce properly. Run up the hill and
kill the gaurds. A cut Scene will make it seem like you
need to run up a wall on these small ledges, but its far
easier to just kill the gaurds straighton. Swing across a
bug gap and kill the captain. This guy is very agressive,
so try to kill him quickly. Go through the passage.
You'll start off in a corrider with a left room, a right
room, and a room straight across. Go to the left room. Kill
the gaurd. Pull the lever. Now go to the right room and do
the same. Break some dark boxes and wall hug through a
little passage way. Kill more gaurds, pull a lever to the
left corner and another up a ladder. go through the newly
opened doors. There will be a room with spikes coming out.
Just wall hug and go around them. You should be in a big
stretch of hallway. Go to the left to find a potion near a
cliff. Go to the right and kill a bunch of gaurds. Try to
do this quickly because they call abunch of people to
attack you. After seeing the hallway with a bunch of
crates, you can either just run through to the open
passageway, or hook on to beams above. If you do use the
hook, be careful because the beams will fall.
After going through the little reddish passageway, there
will be a captain and a switch. Kill him and drag him on to
the switch to stop the spikes. You'll be in a huge open
space. Pull the lever to the right and the wall run up the
huge wall. Jump off and immediatly hook onto a beam.
Reposition yourself and go onto the platform. Wall hug
across the beam, but try to kill the gaurd on the other
side with blowguns or kunais. Go throught the passageway.
-Save-
Kill the gaurd and go to the left. Drop down onto a little
beach. Go across the beams, and collect the various
potions. Get at close as you can to the far wall, and jump,
then hook on to a beam. Pull yourself up and kill the
gaurd. Go through the passage and kill another gaurd. Go
left and on some stairs. If you turn the lever, the spikes
stop, and the door opens but the gaurd wakes up and clals
more soldiesr. You can wall run around the spikes and
stealth hill him instead.
Wall run across the first wall. There are two more walls
with spikes. Just run across them with good timing. Go to
the right and wall run across a chunk of bricks. then wall
hug behind a boulder. Find a lever that makes the draw
bridge go down. Go back and cross the bridge.
-Scene-
Leave the room. Hook onto a beam and swing to a platform
and kill the gaurd. now hook onto another beam and swimg
forward when the spikes are withdrawn. Kill the gaurds.
When the spikes come out, run, jump and hook across. Kill
the gaurds, and run forward on the bricks. Jumping over the
hole and wall running across the bricks is alot easier.
Hokk and swing to the platform. If you go across the path
you'll find a treasure chest with an amulet in it. go back
to the platforms. Wall run up and jump onto the first
platform. You can either wall run up to two more platforms,
or jump straight up from the first platform and hook onto a
beam. Re-align and swing, jump and hook onto another beam.
You won't be able to see it, but just know that it is
there. From there swing onto the greenish steps and jump
up. Go right, and wait until the spikes go down then sprint
across. You can do the ceiling cling, but it is pretty
useless because you can't move and do it at the same time.
Follow passageway and repeat the running over spikes 3
times.
You should now be on a platform with big metal acorns
hanging in front of you. Walk to the edge of this platform
and drop down. Do Not Jump Off Yet!! There is a treasure
chest with Iron claws in it. Jump off of wall to get back
onto platform.
Run and jump onto the first acorn, be careful, as these are
easily overshot. Once on it, hook onto the beam overhead
and swing once to the next acorn. Be careful, jump to the
third acorn, and then hook and swing on beam to the fourth.
Hook and realign then swing onto the platform. Stay to the
left side of the platform as you follow it around the
corner. Jump up onto the pipe ahead of you, it is actually
another walkway, but it is extremely easy to overshoot as
well. Follow it, and jump the gap to the next platform. At
the end, hook the beam, swing, jump and hook onto the
second one. Do not jump to the platform things straight
ahead. Instead, turn left, and jump onto that platform.
Follow it.
-Save-
Get the elixirs before the bridge. You will need them.
Level Two Boss: Old Thunder Lady
Immediately run up to the generators and attack them. Once
they are destroyed, Thunder Granny can't use some of her
lightening attacks. However, she will be following you as
you do this... so hurry.
After the generators are destroyed, attack her whenever
possible. Try to avoid her lightening attacks, and dodge
her whenever she comes towards you.
After she is down to maybe about 40% health, she will jump
into the trees and send bolts of lightening down to attack
you. For the first couple of times you can see her on your
radar, so run up underneath her and hook onto the branch
she is on. You can pull it down by pressing (x). Attack her
as soon as she is down, and then once she goes up into the
trees dodge her lightening attacks by running around while
you search for her. It is really annoying, and it takes a
loooong time.
At one point Thunder Granny can't be found on the radar. It
is usually when she has almost no health left. What you
then have to do is find the right branch (again, it takes
forever!) and hook onto it while dodging the lightening and
go up onto the branch. Jump from branch to branch,
gradually getting higher until you are at least on the
second to the top branch. You might have to go all the way
up. (If you fall at this point you have to redo the whole
boss fight, so watch out!) All it takes at this point is
one well-aimed hit with the tetsugen to kill her.
To start off you just received your fundo. The cool little
weighted club-like weapon. I find it pretty useless if you
are serious about killing the people. But you can have a
lot of fun with it.
So, kill the guards and go into guard tower. Kill that
guard as well, then jump over to the window with the
butterfly by it. Hop into the window, then jump down. There
is a treasure chest in that room with water spiders in it.
They are pretty good at keeping you from freezing to death
in the water, however you can't really fight with them and
you move so very slow. So don't equip them until you are
actually in the water. Exit and go to the right.
-Scene-
Kill the guards and try to be stealthy. Go across the water
and jump off of the walls to get up to the passage that
Chiyome went through. Go through passage.
-Scene-
Ok, jumping from roof to roof in this area rarely works.
And since there are lots of items on the ground, I prefer
the ground.
Kill the guards. It is kind of fun to practice hanging with
the fundo. However, you can easily be overwhelmed by the
numbers of guards, so whenever possible stealth kill.
Jump onto crates to get to window where Chiyome went
through. You can run around and gather up items. Go up the
white ladder by Chiyome's window and enter. Try to get
ontop of the crates to the right. Look for one of the Ninja
arrows pointing behind crates and wall hug past them.
Follow the path made between the crates until you see a
hole, jump down it.
Stay in the rafters as much as possible in this room
because there are almost literally TONS of guards who are
pretty difficult to kill, and will easily kill you, so be
stealthy. As you make your way around, you will see a
boarded up area on the ground with a guard in front of it.
This is the only guard that you really need to kill, and
once you do that all the others will run. Kill him, and
then go through the joint dislocation hole behind him.
-Save-
Equip your water skis. Follow the canal and kill the one
guard in the first niche to the right. Try to stealth kill
him to avoid boat detection. Continue down waterway.
-Scene-
Unequip your water skis, as this is a big battle. Equip
smoke bombs, and potions. While fighting, ignore the
archers on the boats which can sometimes be difficult,
especially when you suddenly have an arrow sticking out of
your arm. Trigger a smoke bomb when the guards with swords
are relatively closely bunched around you, target and
stealth kill them FAST. You may need to do this multiple
times. Once the guards on the ground are killed, target the
archer above the crates. One hit starts a scene.
-Scene-
Equip water skis and continue down the canal. Unequip the
water skis when you kill guards on both sides of the
waterway. Pull the lever, and swim through the opened gate.
As soon as you are able to move run, the barrels behind you
will explode. Kill the guard at the end.

Level Three Boss: Armor God
This is the most annoying boss besides the fourth level
boss. Don't worry too much about getting him in Akemi's
circles...as she only randomly aims and even more rarely
does she actually hit some one (occasionally it is you.)
When he appears in front of you immediately flip back, so
his swords get stuck in the wood. He will either attack
with one or both. For the few seconds he is stuck, attack!
A four hit combo works pretty well.
When he sticks both swords down by his sides and turns red
get far away from him, as he is about to light on fire.
This attack only works if you are attacking/next to him
when he does it.
Make sure that you don't get caught in a corner with him,
or else you are in trouble.
On the off chance that Akemi does hit him with the cannon,
attack him as much as possible. He stays down for quite a
long time after being hit, so use it for your advantage.
But then he might go after Akemi, who he can kill with two
hits. On the plus side, his attention is entirely on her,
so you have to hit him as much as possible while he doesn't
notice.

Level 4: Buddha Temple
-Scene-
Kill the guards to the left. Then go to the right and kill
the guards over there as well. There are lots of cool items
back there, so enjoy it.
Go back to the left, and wall hug to the mound. Once you
get there, you can use joint dislocation. Once out of the
very small area, kill the guards.
Follow the little ninja arrows, wall run, jump and hook
onto the beam. Swing onto the platform. Kill the guards so
that they won't get in the way later. Hook onto the broken
roof, and then swing over and hook onto the next beam. Go
up, and kill the guard in the tower to get the key. DO NOT
JUMP OFF OF THE TOWER!!! Or else you wind up dying. Kill
the guards on the ground and make sure to watch out for
chasms. Go up the stairs and open the door.
-Save-
Go into the center and after the little zoom in, RUN AWAY!
Well, you don't have to. But I find it easier to kill them
one by one. You can also use the shihon ninjitsu and kill
them all by slowly spinning around. Just have fun.
Wall run up and hook onto beam. You can then swing to the
other 5 hooks. On the final hook, go up into the hole and
onto the roof. Run, don't jump or else you will fall off.
Jump into the window and enter the Buddha Temple.
From the start run straight forward. Watch out for the
dicolored wood, because it winds up breaking once you step
on it. Hang and drop off of the edge of the first platform.
This is a short cut that skips a lot of wall running. If
you want to wall run, then follow the arrows.
Run and jump over to the next platform. Once there jump off
and ledge hang off of the piece of bamboo. Go as far as you
can on that piece then drop off. Jump on to the bright
green piece of bamboo, and move up to the very top one.
From there go up and down and left, on pieces of bamboo
until there aren't any more. Drop down onto the platform at
the end of the last piece.
From there hook straight up, and go onto the platform
above. Run, jump and hook onto the beam in the middle of
the big gap. Swing over to the next platform. Walk to the
edge and drop off. From there look to your right, there
should be an arrow that points down. This part is tricky.
You have to jump off in the direction of the arrow and hook
onto a beam there. Once hooked land on the rafter, and make
your way over to the middle platform with the candle on it.
Your main goal is to make your way to the tall platform,
jump up onto it. Hook and swing to the next hook. Go as low
as possible, then hook onto third beam. Swing over to the
platform. Once you get there, begin running up to the top
platform. Otherwise the wood will collapse under you.
Once on the platform, wall hug. Then by the candle jump and
ledge hang off of the bamboo. Go as far as possible, then
drop down onto the diagonal bamboo. Go as far as possible,
and then jump up. Go as far as possible, again, and then
drop down. Drop off the bamboo, but as you fall move
backwards. Hopefully, you would have grabbed onto the
platform behind you. Once on the platform wall hug over to
the next one.
From here, run and jump to the next platform with the
candle on it. Run off the long part (quickly, the wood here
collapses) and jump past the beam onto a platform that is
kind of hidden behind the beam. Continue jumping from
platform to platform until you land in the Buddha's giant,
golden hand. Pull his finger ( I am dead serious, that is
what you have to do!)
Jump back onto the platform that you just came from. Hook
onto the beam above, swing and jump to the next platform.
Be careful, this is another one that is easily overshot.
Follow the platforms to the back of the Buddha, and then
jump in.
FYI: If you happen to fall off at any time, and don't wind
up dying. Make your way to the flame-holder with out a
flame, but that has a butterfly next to it. From there hook
onto the platform above. Go up onto it, and then you wall
run to the other platform. From there you jump over...and
go through the whole thing again.
-Save-
Follow the passageway. Walk around the spikes, then walk
under them. Kill the guard, then continue to follow the
passage.
You will see giant gaping holes that are too big to jump
over. Use the hook to pull them down. Run and jump onto
them. Wall hug past the spikes.
You enter a big room, and kill the guards all around it.
Try not to cut them in half, because at least three have to
be dragged onto the pressure switches to open the door. Go
down the stairs.
Now you should be in a big room with a hand. Wall run up,
so that you can land in the palm. Three of the white ninjas
will drop down, kill them. They aren't too hard to kill.
Pull the finger on the hand again, and then hook into the
hole that the ninjas came from.
-Save-
Go into the cavern and out into small exit with arrows.
Many walkways collapse so you have to hang off wall.
FYI: If you happen to fall head towards the giant snake
head. Thaere is a ramp on the left.
Continue down path and pull a lever in a lit room.
Now head towards the white x on the radar. Enter...
-Scene-
Well, now you are captured and have no weapons. There is a
crawlspace in the back of the cell. After a small room, go
through a joint dislocation hole. Stealth kill the soldier
that was guarding you, and jump up a the cylindrical
opening. The giant snake's mouth will now be open...swim
towards it, and watch out for snakes.
-Scene-
Level Four Boss: Snake Lady
The Snake Lady boss is a real pain. And since the last save
was awhile ago, it really sucks. The main problem is Akemi
(she really is the most annoying character) the Snake Lady
poisoned her, and throughout the whole battle she is slowly
dying. And, unfortunately is she dies...it isn't over, you
just have to start over again. This took me, well....I had
to have a friend do it. You have to probably do it multiple
times.
There are three stages.
Stage one: Snake Lady moves from island to island. She has
3 keys and 3 seperate health bars. Every time one health
bars goes down, you get a key. for the first bar, you have
to strike Snake Lady's head once or twice by targeting her,
pressing x for a long range tetsugen attack, and press up
before the blade strikes. For the second bar, normal close
range or long range tetsugen attacks will do. For the last
bar, you have to strike her at her feet at least twice, by
targeting, attacking and pressing down before the blade
hits her. This boss is very difficult and most people can't
even hit her feet or her head once. My suggestions are to
wait for the times between when she's changing attacks. It
takes alot of tries to even get past this part, so hang in
there. When you have all three keys, run towards Akemi.
Stage two: Akemi is still losing health. The Snake lady is
once again jumping from island to island. Here is what I do
: Stay on one island. Wait for her to circle above and
attack you, and then dodge (which is pretty hard). Attack
her with combos. Long range tetsugen attacks generally take
too long and can be blocked easily. There's not much time
in this battle.
stage three: Akemi is STILL losing health. You have to act
fast! Go to one of the islands near the giant snake and
Hook onto a rock above it. Tap x again and again intil it
comes down on the snake. Sometimes, the hook will get
caught on other rocks on the ceiling and waste your
precious time, so be careful of where your pointing to when
you hook.
Now you have armor (why Kurenai didn't wear that from the
beginning still confounds me. Maybe if she used her Ninja
Logic....) and a hacked hair cut.
Kill the guard, then go upstairs and kill some more guards.
Jump up from the stairs and hook onto the tree. Jump over
the wall...and once again kill some guards. Further on,
there will be a small walkspace in front of rice. You will
be in a prison.
Spikes come up from the floor. Jump over them, and kill the
guards. One of the deceased guards has a key to Prison
District One, get it. Once you find that gate, kill the two
guards in the hallway. You then pick up the key for cell 2-
1. In an open cell to the right there is an open cell with
the key for cell 1-10. In the same district, go up the
ladder on the left and open cell 1-10, drop down the hole.
Then go through the joint dislocation hole.
In District 2-- Kill the guards. Get the key for cell 1-3,
and District 3. Find cell 2-1 and open it inside are some
elixirs. Open the big door at the end of hall. You are now
in District 1.
Open 1-3, inside you will find a treasure chest with
Maguro. Go back to the main area with the spikes and look
for the key to District 3. Kill the guards to get the
District 3 Warden Key. Open the room to the left, and get
the underground cave key. Head to the spike room, then go
to the white x on the radar. Go through hole.
-Save-
Stand at the blue rice, and wall jump up until you are at
the higher level. Use the blowgun to kill the guard on the
opposite platform since he has a gun.
Hook onto the bucket and swing forward, it will start
moving. Hook onto 3 collapseable posts to get to the
platform. CLimb onto the beam and jump from beam to beam.
Jump and hook onto the other beam. Face left and go up onto
the platform. HOok and swing onto the next platform.
Ok, in the levels there always seems to be some sort of
obstacle course. Here is the obstacle course for this
level:
Jump onto the first gear then to the second. Next, jump to
the left of the first log to hit the third gear. Run onto
the second log, jump, hook and swing onto collapseable
platforms. Then jump up cannons onto platform. Try not to
over or under jump. This whole thing normally takes a
couple of tries to get used to it. Enter the crawlspace to
the right.
Now you are in a weird lava room. It is kind of fun to
equip the fundo and then pull the guards into the steam
vents, or into the channels with lava.
Pull the lever, and then go straight. Kill guard on left
and the one further down the hall. Ignore the steam vents
to the left. Cross the metal bridge and kill three more
guards. Jump over the small crevice and go across another
metal bridge and pull the lever. That one deactivates the
steam vent closest to where you started out. Jump over
steam vent and kill guard. Go across another metal bridge,
be careful of threee steam vents. Pull yet another lever.
Go back across the same metal bridge, and make your way to
the first bridge. Head towards the right and kill the
guards. Pull the lever, and in the back there are two
treasure chests. Head towards the white x on the radar and
open door.
FYI: If you get lost or confused...just wander around and
kill guards and pull switches until you can't find anymore
of either, then head towards white x.
-Save-
You are know in the firing range. Kill all the guards, and
ignore the little vents on the sides. Open the door, to see
a scene.
-Scene-
Go through the vent in the back of the room.
-Save-
Hook onto the beam and jump off, after the steam is
finished. Swing onto the platform. Run and jump onto the
platform with the blue rice. Hook and swing onto the next
platform. Jump, hook and swing onto another platform. It
might take a few tries, as there are large gaps. Jump to
the blue rice and hook and swing across. Go through the
vent.
Jump and hook onto bar to the right 3 times. Make your way
up to the top platform by wall jumping. Go into the door in
front, kill guards and get the key ring. Go to the door
across the hall.
You are back at the shooting range. Kill the guards,
stealth kill helps. Open the door and go back to Ginbei's
cell.
-Scene-
Level Five Boss: Cannon Master
So, Akemi got shot and you want R-E-V-E-N-G-E! The Cannon
Master is extremely slow, so it is fairly easy to hit him.
For the first stage, just dodge his attacks and slash at
his back. After awhile the floor collapses and drops you
into another room. You should pull down the log with the
hook, so that you can stand on it. (He has trouble shooting
up there) Use the fundo to hang him multiple times until
dead. I found this pretty tricky, but you can't hurt him
with tetsugen attacks at this point. *After he shoots he is
generally more vulnerable to your fundo attack.* This takes
some trial and error.

Level 6: Black Lizard Castle
Chasing that annoying Armor God...this really is a painful
part of the game. I recommend that the first couple of
times you do this, just run through it to get the feel of
where you have to go. It really helps.
You can run over partitions, but I find that that slows me
down, so I just run around them. Stealth Kill guards, and
make sure that you re-equip the tetsugen, as the fundo it
annoying and slow. Kill the white ninja's when they stop,
or else they wind up ganging up on you later.
The first gate that you have to pass: Once you pass the
last partition and come to a relatively open area jump,
hook and swing over the roof of the gate.
On the second gate: Wall run up the right side and jump off
onto the roof. Keep following the walls, while dodging
bullets.
In the mini-village area number one: Run off the roof
towards the tower, jump, hook and swing onto the next roof.
Kill the white ninjas when they show up. Continue up to the
lit window. The last building needs a running start. Jump
and wall run up to the window.
FYI: If you fall down run back to the tower, wall jump off
the surrounding buildings and hook onto the guard tower.
Mini-village area number two: Jump out of the window, and
hook onto the tower.Jump over to the roofs on the side, and
wall run between them to the next one. Jump, hook and swing
diagonally to the left. Wall run and follow what the mini-
scene showed. Jump and hook four times. Land on the low
roof, and hook the guard tower. Swing to the building. Run
and jump to the next building. Run, and jump to the roof
and kill the White Ninja's then open the right hand door.
FYI: If you fall down in this area look for the ever-handy
ninja arrows

Now you should be on a path with a pyramid in the center.
Start running, and as you run the White Ninja's will
attack, kill them as they come. Keep running. When all the
Ninja's are dead, and no more attack, look for the door to
the pyramid. To the left of the door there is an arrow and
a wall. Wall run up the wall to a small set of stairs. At
the top, jump and hook onto a beam then pull yourself up.
Watch out for spikes!

Now you are looking at an upside down castle. (I thought it
was a spaceship but was told otherwise.) Just swing and
hook onto either red or blue hooks, and follow them until
they stop appearing. (I recommend the blue, just because
when I tried the red they led nowhere!) Jump off the last
one onto the reversed castle.

Level Six Boss: Armor God/Chiyome
The Armor God is back, and this time he has kicked up the
attacks a notch. His two minor arms spew fireballs. The
blue fireballs are homing, so watch out. Whereas the
red...which aren't homing. But they are really annoying
because you wind up jumping into them.
There are two ways to kill the Armor God, both take a
loooong time.
Way number one: Wire attack his little arms with the
Tetsugen so that they fall off. Then use the fundo to try
and pull him down to get the same reaction that occurs when
Akemi hit him with a cannon in level 3. Then you slash at
him until he gets up.
Way number two: Pretty much the same way you killed him the
first time. It helps to yank off his arms, then when he
appears in front of you and gets his swords stuck hack at
him as much as possible.
When he is down to about half health, the Armor God will
start spewing a stream of fire out of his belly. It is
really weird, but the perfect time to slash him in the back
or go collect potions. Just don't get in front of him!
If he winds up excessively using the flaming body attack,
stand still. That will normally get him to attack you how
he should. The regular sword attack. Keep on attacking him
until he is dead. But try to conserve your potions and
elixirs for the Chiyome fight which takes place as soon as
you kill the Armor God. This is a long fight so be patient.
Now comes Chiyome...who is surprisingly easy to beat,
considering she was the top Ninja. First, she will fly out
with a wind barrier. Don't follow her too closely or else
she will run away. RIght after she unleashes wind attacks,
use the fundo to wire her head and press x to drag her
down. Immediately switch to the tetsugen and slash her.
Repeat until Chiyome surrounds herself with a rock barrier
and unleashes 3 white ninjas. Kill them and then use the
time slow gauge (x+y). Use the fundo to get her head again
then deactivate the time slow gauge and slash her. 3 more
ninjas will come out...repeat as before.
Once she only has a fraction of life left, you will enter
this mildly disturbing dream world. Weight wire Chiyome's
head and jump over the tree. Be careful about approaching
her, because she has a harmful barrier around her.
Then you enter an even more disturbing ending sequence that
involves two ninjas, creepy character modeling and faulty
logic.
