4) Settings [STNG04]
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Before advancing to a game, you will be asked to change the settings to your
personal prefrence. Settings will effect the gameplay in your game in any way
you choose. Listed below are the settings that are customizable by you.
Level, choose between beginner, easy, medium, and difficult. The harder level
you choose, the harder the in-game competition will be.
Clock Speed, this option lets you select how long the periods will last.
Although the clock will still count down from 20 minutes, you can set the clock
to run for 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes per period.
Penalties, you decide how often the penalties are called. After a penalty is
called, the offending player must spend a certain amount of time in the penalty
box. The amount of time spent in the penalty box depends on the severity of the
penalty.
Fighting, decide how often a fight will break out. Fights will break out
between two players on opposite teams, and will end with both players getting
5 minutes in the penalty box.
Offsides, decide on if the referees will call offsides or not. Offsides is
called when a player crosses over the opposing team's blue line before the
puck does.
Icing, decide if the referees will call icing or not. Icing is called when a
player hits the puck from his own half, beyond the opposing team's goal line.
Two-Line Pass, decide if the referees will call two-line pass or not. A Two-
Line Pass is called when a player passes to a teammate and the puck crosses
two lines before reaching him.
Injuries, choose if injured players can be played in the game or not.
