~~HISTORY~~
Baraka is a mean, unforgiving, and unpredictable warriors who is in
service of the emperor of Outworld, Shao Khan. He belongs to a
nomadic race known as the Tarkata. They are a crossbreed between vile
Netherrealmdemons and the people of Outworld. They populate the vast
wastelands of Outworld.Baraka, like most others of his race, possess
long blades which can be extended from their forarms. He is a loyal
warrior who fights for who he calls master.
In the events leading up to the second Mortal Kombat tournament, Baraka
led the attack against he Shaolin Temple of Light in Earthrealm. This caused
Liu Kang to seek vengeance in Outworld as predicted from Shao Khan. During the
tournament, Baraka partnered with Mileena to overthrow Shao Khan has emperor
but his plan failed.
Following SHhao Khan's fall from power, Baraka escaped and spent some time
traveling alone. During this time Baraka encountered the Necromancer Quan Chi
while he was wandering through Edenia. Quan Chi offered Baraka a chance to rule
by his side if he served Shinnok's army. Eager for battle, Baraka accepted.
Shinnok, however, was defeated and Baraka lost his opportunity to overthrow
his new masters.
After all of this, during the Rise of the Dragon King, Baraka found a new
master and served Onaga, the Dragon King, himself. Baraka then freed Mileena
from here prision for she may also serve him. Mileena posed as Princess Kitana
to middirect the Edenian forces to fight against Tarkatan raiding parties
insteadof Onaga. This was intended to give Onaga more time.
