[ 0.1 -- What's Demon Stone? ]
===============================
Demon Stone is a satisfying pure action, hacking and slashing fighting game from
Stormfront Studios, the same guys who brought you "The Two Towers" and
"Return of the Kings". Instead of battling out with polygonal Orcs in a rendered
Middle-Earth, this time you will fight trans-dimensional outsiders
who have the nerve to wreck havoc within the Forgotten Realms.
This game does fondly reminds me of the arcade version of "Dungeons and
Dragons: Shadows over Mystra". Now, if they put it massive four-players
support...
If you have any tips and hints, feel free to email to me

[ 0.2 -- Difference from the Lord of the Rings game ]
=====================================================
There are some notable difference between Demon Stone and the previous LOTR
games released by Stormfront. Here goes:
o No more shielded opponents
o No more "heavy" or "light" attacks
There's only a standard attack and an unarmed strike.
o Attacking does not parry automaticially anymore
In the LOTR games, you automaticially parry any attack when you use a light
attack (but at the cost of stunning yourself). This is gone in Demon Stone,
which makes the game more challenging.
o Coup De Grace is now R1, not R2
Which is REALLY frustrating for someone who have been playing the LOTR
games for a long time, as it takes some time to get used to.
o "Use" is now R2, not R1
Hated that too, especially in some levels where you have to blast objects
into pieces.
o You don't have to hammer the Block button anymore
Just hold down the Block button and you will stay in a defensive position.
o Linear storyline
No more branching of storyline, just one "party of adventurers" to guide
through.
There are doubtless many other big glaring differences, such as now that you can
switch between characters, addition of items and etc, but the list above are
some minor "ah I see" that may takes some time to get use to.
[ 0.3 -- Updates ]
==================
v1.03 (13 Oct 04)
2 more hidden areas, one in Chapter 4 and the other in Chapter 6. Thanks to
Archie F. Miller for the tipoff for the treasury in chapter 4!
v1.02 (07 October 04)
More Stuff:
- Added more to Zhai's secret areas.
- Added a secret about chapter 8. See the walkthrough for more!
v1.01 (05 October 04)
Some corrections:
- Zhai comes with Riposte as well. Funny how I have missed that, so Rannek is
NOT the only character with that skill.
- I found some redeeming merit with Illius' charming spells. Look in his
section for details.
- Added some missing sequences to 3.4 The Wizard's Tower.
- Added Bonus Areas for Zhai (see 3.11)
- Expanded the combat tips.

CHAPTER 1 - CHARACTERS
1.0 - Introduction
1.1 - The Fighter, Rannek
1.2 - The Rogue, Zhai
1.3 - The Sorcerer, Illius
__________________________________________________________________
[ 1.0 - Introduction ]
======================
Each of the three characters in the party plays an indispensable role in the
game. From times to times, you will have to play as one of them, solo, to get
through some insurmountable obstacles. There are occasions when it is necessary
to switch to one of them to get through a level.
[ 1.1 - The Fighter, Rannek ]
=============================
As the fighter, Rannek bears the brunt of the fighting, the hurt and the injury.
He delivers massive damage, can take beating and is designed to plunge straight
into a crowd and shows them the meaning of pain. Use his Riposte ability to fend
off attacks, and then to launch a quick counterattack
Unique Abilities
...............
Power Attack - This is handy against some bosses, or when enemies are rushing
straight at you.
Smash - This ability is granted with the Gauntlet of Orge Strength, and
allows you to smash through gates and obstacles. Actually, this
is quite an important ability because some levels require this to
get through. This stuns and knockbacks enemies, and can break up
a massive charge.
Whirlwind - Rannek's special attack.
When shall you play as him?
..........................
When you have a bad day at work and is itching to release some pent-up
volcanoic anger, and when your boss happens to look like an orc, troll or a
certain Slaad.
Seriously, Rannek is good to play with most of the time, and is a good handyman
to rescue the other crews when they are in trouble.
[ 1.2 - The Rogue, Zhai ]
=========================
The best thing about Zhai is that she's fast and she can hide in the shadows,
which allows her to stalk an enemy and backstabs him (or it) when she attacks
him from behind. The trouble is that sometimes getting the position right is a
bit tricky.
Unique Abilities
...............
Hide in Shadows - There are at least 3 occasions in the game when Zhai is alone
and
must sneak through the enemy's complex. Granted, this is
cheesecake compared to Metal Gear Solids, it can be
frustrating as Zhai becomes visible rather quickly. Buy the
"Slick" series upgrades to increase the duration of
invisbility, or the charms.
Jump - Useless. Oh, there will be some level-specific events when you
must use it, but this is Demon Stone, not Devil May Cry,
so don't expect any fancy flips or air-juggling combos.
However, her jump allows her to reach some 'bonus areas' where
you can find more loot. I try to keep a lookout for them. For
a list of what I have found so far, refer to 3.11
Manyshot - Zhai's special attack. It does not kill as quickly as Rannek's
,but it stuns them for a while, which is helpful when monsters
regenerates at an insane speed.
When shall you play her?
.......................
When the Dungeon Master forces you to :-D There are many sequences in the
game where you simply have to play as her, but those are short and rather easy
to overcome. At any rate, she is a fun character to play as - slick, fast and
stylish.
[ 1.3 -- The Sorcerer, Illius ]
===============================
Illius is a sorcerer, and as in D&D, he's weak at the beginning and awesome at
the end of the game. What's great about him? Repeat after me - UNLIMITED RANGED
ATTACK. Say it again, savour it and realise what it means. This means he is your
ticket out on many annoying stages when the boss just stays out of harm's way
(Apology to a certain spy's game for that!)
Strangely, as a Sorcerer, Illius has access to some of the attack combos - they
are quite cool to look at, especially the Trip Combination, which is something
you would expect a kungfu expert with a stick. However, I find it harder to
execute Illius' combo than with Rannek or Zhai's. I don't know if it is a
physicological thing or the timing for his combo are stricter than the rest.
Unique Abilities
...............
Ranged Attack - Illius' ranged attack is king among the rest, period. Each of
his attack spells feature different properties. Magic Missile,
unlike its cousin in D&D, does not launch multiple missiles,
but when charged up is a huge blast of energies. Flame Arrow
and Acid Arrow targets more than one opponent when charged up,
and you can repeatedly spam lightning bolt like some demented
Dark Jedi. However, get Meteor Swarm as quickly as possible.
Protection - Illius also possess three protection spells (Protection from
Evil,Circle of Protection against Evil and Flame Shield) which
reduces the damage suffered by the party. They last for a short
time, alas, but is neat when you have the time to cast it and
when you remember to.
Charm - Charming spells (Sleep, Hold, Hold Monster) stop enemies in
their track, but why stop them when you can blast them?
First, the area of effect of those spells are larger compared
to most attack spells (save except for Meteor Swarm). Second,
it works on bosses as well! And third, Hold Monster is
HOMING! The perfect cast and forget spell.
And finally, by rendering the monsters montionless, the other
characters get to charge their super meter by whacking them.
Beads of Force - Allow Illius to blast stuff. Unlike Rannek's Smash, Illius
drops a bead of a force like a landmine, then denonate it,
causing a shockwave. The advantage is that Illius goes through
less lag than Rannek when using the Beads
Mystra's Light - Blasts all enemies around Illius. Not particularly strong.
When you shall play him?
.......................
When annoying enemies stay out of the way. Usually, Rannek or Zhai will
prompt you to use your spells to blast at some targets. Illius is a "stay-away"
type of ranged combatant who shalln't be close up in the action unless you know
what you are doing. Of course, his close combat moves are a style by itself,
especially if you are a fan of eastern martial arts.

CHAPTER 2 - COMBAT TIPS AND HINTS
This chapter is a miscellanous collection of combat tips and hints for dealing
with all sort of hostilites.
o Push enemies off the ledge. There are numerous times when you can just whack
your opponent over the ledge to some abyssal pit, never to return. It's not
that hard, they drop down even when they are that close to the ledge.
o Switch characters frequently to charge the super meter. Illius is the easiest
to charge, because of his ranged attacks which can affect numerous opponens,
followed by Zhai (sneak attacks) and Rannek. Your super meter drops when you
are hurt, so for Rannek it may takes some skill to fill it.
o Killing monsters when your super metre is charged, or with supers, usally drop
Hero Potions, which will refill your super metre. Switch to the character with
a low metre to get a much-needed charge.
o Use Supers to clear the area when your health is low - you will get lots of
health potions this way.
o Master the "Critical" attack ( X + O + R1 ) as it is the fastest way to
dispatch of Foes. Trip Combination ( X + O + X ) works well for Rannek and
Zhai as there's a chance that they can cause additional damage.
o Use the unarmed attack and Bull Rush ( X + O + O ) to knock opponents into
rivers, off the ledge, into fiery furnaces or what-have-you to quicken
their demise.
o Riposte is Rannek's and Zhai's key to clearing huge crowds.
o Play with subtitles ON, especially if it is the first time you are playing
and donot want to spoil yourself with the walkthrough. There are times when
the characters will shout instructions, and failing to follow may means DOOM
for all.
o Get good equipment for everyone, especially defensive equipment, as the AI
controlling them gets dumb at times, especially during a certain boss stage.
Save up for the Ring of Regeneration, Ring of Protection, Amulet of Health,
Gem of Contigency and Armour Enhancement.

3.11 - Zhai's 'Bonus Areas'
__________________________________________________________________
____________________
[ 3.0 - Replaying a level ]
===========================
At any time when you are stuck, you can actually re-play an earlier level to
gain more experience points and gold. However, how much gold and experience you
gain is still shady at a moment. It seems that you have to earn _more_ than your
total gold or experience points to get any gain.
[ 3.1 - War in Damara ]
=======================
The beginning chapter of the game is actually quite a pushover. Surely, you
don't need help with this?
[ 3.2 - Gemspark Mines ]
========================
This stage reveals that no doubt there is a god, and the god is none other than
the Dungeon Master, as he haplessly leads poor adventurers from all over the
world to the Gemspark Mines where he can execute his contrived plot and causes
doom to fall over our beloved Faeurn again.
There are three difficult parts of the game. The first is when Rannek and Illius
are knocked out, and you must sneak through with Zhai. The hardest part is when
you are near Rannek and Illius' cage, so be careful there.
The second tough part is when facing the Orc King. He had this annoying stun-
blast which will know any character down, so be switch to another character when
the main one is down. The key to this battle is to use the in-between time to
kill fodder and increases your own hero meter.
The last part is when you have to face off a huge group of outsiders while the
Slaad Lord and the Githyanki face off each other. It's basicially just a
survival round, just keep fighting till the time is up.
[ 3.3 - Cedarleaf ]
====================
This stage requires you to save a number of Elvish folks before it is over. At
the beginning of the game, switch to Illius to blast the Githyanki to break her
concentration.
Zhai must then jump across a couple of ledges to get to an orb which will
extends the bridge, allowing your party to cross.
Use Rannek or Illius to smash through fallen trees and rubbles to rescue Elves,
and just keep battling at foes till the quota is up.
[ 3.4 - The Wizard's Tower ]
============================
Do you hate mini-games? If so, this is one annoying stage for you. Basicially,
you have to fight from the top of the tower to the bottom, where a portal lies.
There are a couple of sequence where Zhai must jump through a couple of fire
traps to hit the trigger to disarm the trap - that's easy enough. The harder
"mini-game" is when Illius takes control of a Shield Guardian and have to
navigate the steel titan to smash a path across the bridge. Anyone who gets
through will start hacking at Illius, and that's annoying as the Guardian
staggers like a drunken giant. At the end there's a Bugbear Chieftain
(basicially an Orc King clone) waiting.
After beating down the Chieftain, Illius must reconstruct the portal before you
can escape. As Zhai and Rannek, you must fend off the enemies till the portal is
charged fully. Another ANNOYING mini-game, for Illius can die if his health
drops, AND the portal's charge-up bar will drop if he is hit, and there is no
way to restore Illius' health save for a fortunate level-up. Try to use Rannek's
Smash when things become unmangable.
Recommended Upgrade
..................
Black Pearl xth Level (as high as possible without hurting your finance)
[ 3.5 - The Jungle of Chult ]
=============================
Dotted around the jungles are healing plants, which when shot at, will
regenerate the health of all the party members. Be careful of the mutants' grab
attacks as they can, and will, drain a lot of health with one blow.
In the watermill, where you are fighting the spiders, Zhai can jump onto a crate
then onto the a staircase to reach a ledge. Run till the end of the ledge to
find a chest. Smash it for a good number of gold.
Eventually, you will get onto a raft, when you will sail your merily way down a
river chocked full of Yuan Ti spitters, archers and spiders. The rift will sail
into webs and ropes now and then, so use Rannek to smash them. (It's quite
confusing the first time though, for they keep saying, "Cut the rope!" and I
just slash fruitlessly at the rope).
After this you have the Boss Fight, a spider queen. Take control of Illius, and
use him to blast the queen with his spells. She's only vulnerable a short while
before and after she spits at you. BE SURE TO BLOCK the spit with your shield,
for it will stun you. When that happens, SWITCH to another character and have
him block. The Spider Queen will only target the character which you are
controlling.
Recommended Upgrades
...................
Belt of Gaint Strength
Stealth-boosting items (Charm of Lloth, Slick, Stealh and etc.)
[ 3.6 - The Yuan Ti Temple ]
============================
This is an interesting stage. And it is also the best place to earn a lot of
experience points for a difficult stage which come nexts.
The first sequence has Zhai sneaking through and cutting throats. If you have
taken time to invest in stealth upgrades, this shalln't be a problem.
Next, within the temple, you will find yourself trapped behind a barrier, with
many serpentine enemies crawling their way in. To make things mangable, have
Rannek or Illius to smash the bridges at the sides of the platforms.
After a short while, the Yuan Ti God (a big lizard) will arise from the portal,
and the sacrifices will come in droves. Those basicially are harmless, so just
keep smacking at them. Take time to charge up your super meters and use them
when possible. You have plenty of chances to charge it up.
Eventually, Yuan Ti guards will join the fray, so balance between smacking off
the sacrifices and killing the guards. Eventually, the Yuan Ti God will get
hungry enough to devour its own high priest. Nice guy to work for.
After that happens, the next thing is to grab the Demon Stone. If you are
feeling confident enough, drag as long as possible because you have an endless
supply of enemies. Keep killing them to get experience points (up to the maximum
possible, of course). When you get tired of the bloodshed, use Rannek or Illius
to head to the Demon Stone and smash it. Once done, you have completed
this level!
Reward
.....
The Demonstone! Granted, it's not the One Ring(tm) or anything like that, but
this allows Illius to regain health after a fully charged ranged attack.
Recommended Upgrade
..................
Greater Belt of Giant Strength
[ 3.7 - Stand at Mithral Hall ]
===============================
*GROAN* This has the two most annoying things from the previous LOTR
games rolled up into one stage. First, you have the obiligatory siege sequences
where you have gates to protect and captaults to smash. Second, those trolls can
only be slain with fire! ARGH!
This is also the stage where you get to play as the famous Drow ranger Drizzt.
Watch out though, he's perishable.
And for those smart-alecks who brought the Fire enchantment for Rannek's
weapon, forget it. The Troll King casts "Dispel" at the beginning of the level,
so you have to look for braizer to stick your weapons in.
Int the first sequence, you have to protect the cogs which holds the gates.
Basically, just stand guard there, whack and slash, heat up your weapon and
repeat. Next, they will target your gates, so you have to drop down there to
repel the waves of trollish invaders. Eventually, troll ice-throwers will come,
and Drizzt will take a mad plunge downwards, facing off those trolls
themselves. Just keep slashing (there's a quota of trolls to be killed) and that
sequence will be over.
Finally, they roll in the catapult. The catapult has three sections - the front,
left and right. Use Rannek to smash those three sections, and finally you are
done.
AT LEAST there are no siege ladders to overturn this time.
Reward
.....
Charm of the Wood Elf. Allows Zhai to remain invisible after attacking.
Recommended Upgrades
...................
Ranged weapons for Zhai and Rannek
[ 3.8 - Into the Underdark ]
============================
First, you have to sneak your way through to the entrance, as Zhai. This is
tricky, as the guards tend to stand in the plain open and have one or more
friends covering them. Slashing their throats is not the problem - staying
invisible as you land or recover is the problem.
Next, you have an ice barrier to break through. To do so, first, you must kill
the four warlocks shielding it. It may be a good idea to upgrade all your three
character's ranged weapons because the whole area is crowded with enemies all
the time, and it is hard to get a clear shot. Once you drop the four warlocks,
use Rannek or Illius to go forward to blast the gate. Be warned that the
warlocks will return, and when they do, the ice gate will regenerate itself.
Argh!
BTW, I recieved this tip from Bobby LeClerc:
"In the Into the Underdark chapter, there is a ledge to the right of the
ice gate that Zhai can jump onto and run across. There are some goodies
and a level at the top. The lever closes doors in front of all the ice
mages, so they can't regenerate the gate."
So that's the way to stop those annoying warlocks from coming back! Many
thanks to Bobby!
Finally, you will come to a portal and the Githyanki herself. She is, again,
shielded by four warlocks. You have to kill the four warlocks before being able
to blast the Githyanki. She is mightly resistant to ranged attacks, and it is
again hard to get a clear shot because the area is never free of enemies.
Once you drop her health to half, the Slaad Lord will appear, and Illius will
attempt to use the Demon Stone to trap the two of them. He will be stationary,
unable to protect himself, and so as Rannek or Zhai, you have to fend off
the enemies. I suggest using Zhai's Super as many times as possible, as it
stuns enemies. Killed enemies are often regenerated instantly, so by stunning
them, you buy Illius more time.
There will be two group of hostiles fighting off each other, so don't go look
for troubles - just stay close to Illius and fend off any stray enemies. You
also don't have to wait for the gauge to fill fully (depending on difficulty
though). At a certain point the Slaad Lord will realise what's happening, and
he'll fling the Githyanki into the portal.
Recommended Upgrade
..................
Gem of Contigency
Defensive upgrades (Rings, Amulet of Health, Greater Defending, Armour)
[ 3.9 - The Dragon's Lair ]
===========================
The toughest stage of the 10 levels, the Dragon's Lair will pit your against
foes which are immune to critical hits, immune to knock downs and can chew up
your health quickly despite having the best armour, Ring of Protection +5,
weapons of Greater Defending and Armour Enhancement +5.
After the beginning sequence, you will find yourself facing a long bridge to
a gate which must be smashed down. The archers there auto-regenerate instantly
after you kill them, so to prevent your party members from dying to arrows, have
Rannek immediately rush forward to smash the gate down. (Remember to get Belt of
Giant's Strength!) Once so, immediately go through to get pass a checkpoint -
if you ever die thereafter, at least you got through that tough part.
The second tough part is eventually when you come to a long corridor when
hordes of enemies appears. You can stay as Illius and linger backward to blast
them with Meteor Swarm (what do you mean, you don't have it?)
Throughout the levels, keep your eyes open for ledges that Zhai can jump on to
reach secret areas. There are at least one such area in every room you reached.
Trimming the Dragon's Wings
..........................
Without giving the story away, eventually you will have to face off the dragon.
The first thing to do is to cut away its wings. As Illius, navigate around the
platform till you can get a clear blast. Try to draw as little attention as
possible, because if you are swarmed, that's it, you will never get to blast the
dragon. Try not to switch characters also, as an AI-controlled Illius is a
recpie for disaster.
Also, if you are using Meteor Swarm, you have to fully charge it up to hit the
dragon. You need lots of luck, patience and endurance to get through this part.
Also,if you are ever going to be hit by the Dragon's breath, DO NOT BLOCK. If
Illius block, he will not be knocked down, but his health will drain at a
tremendous rate. Rather, let Illius be knocked down so that he suffers less
damage.
Dragon Killing Drama
....................
The next thing is to kill the dragon. You will find yourself back at the long
corridor. When the dragon is charging towards you, switch to Rannek. Avoid his
attack and slash at him with the sword. If you have time, use the Heavy Attack
(hold down X). The dragon can deal tremendous damage if you are not careful,
so it is safest to whack him only after it had attack, then backed away quickly.
You may prefer Zhai to Rannek as she is speedier, but Rannek does more damage
(after all, he's the one with the sword which even the dragon fears!)
Eventaully, he will throw up a barrier of flame and back off, while summoning
monsters. Your goal is to get all your three characters to have their hero meter
full. Next, when the dragon charges you, use the group super when no one can be
grabbed by the dragon. You can remove 1/4 to half of his health bar this way!
But at higher difficulty, the dragon regenerates health an in insane speed,
so keep your Super Attack for the very last moment possible.
As the dragon's health drops, you will find the monsters getting tougher and
the time you have to fight them dropping dramatically. When this happens, you
shall be killing monsters primarily for health potions, not for increasing the
super meter.
When the dragon's health bar is empty, do this:
a) Switch to Illius, move close to the dragon. Press X. He will use the Demon
Stone to freeze the dragon.
b) Switch to Zhai, move close to the dragon. Press X. She will jump on the
dragon, making its head land on the floor.
c) Switch to Rannek. move close to the dragon and press X. He will drive the
sword through the dragon's head.
It will be obvious with the subtitles on.
After this, you'll be able to buy the Red Dragon Armour. An interesting note is
that Rannek will get all the gold back from weapon upgrades, as he already had
the ultra-utlimate Silver Sword of Gith. Use those to beef him up - the last
stage is no walkover.
Recommended Upgrades
...................
Red Dragon Armour
Black Pearl 9th Level
Meteor Swarm (Illius)
Gem of Contigency
Prone Attack (Even for Illius)
[ Chapter 3.10 - Lord of Chaos ]
================================
The beginning parts are the usual hack and slash sequences. If you are having
difficulty, remember the ledge to one end of the room. The same apply when
you have to face numerous enemies in the cavern. Try to knock down off the
ledge with X + O + O. Once you face off the Slaad Lord, however, things get
even more interesting. If you really can't handle it, use Illius. His shield
can block the Slaad's attack, unlike Rannek's.
Ideally, you are able to charge up all the three character's super metre, but
that's tough. So here's another way. Make sure Illius have Pearl of Power 9th
level and the Meteor Swarm spell. Use Illius and plays him catiously, letting
your friends take care of the monsters. Alternatively, use Rannek to clear the
area, and switch to Illius when the Slaad Lord takes on you alone.
Run away and let Rannek or Zhai pre-occupy the Slaad Lord, and just blast him
with Meteor Swarm. It is quite effective, dropping about 1/8 of his health bar
with each fully charged blast. Just be careful that he can teleport and
re-appear behind you in moments.
[ Chapter 3.11 - Zhai's Bonus Areas ]
=====================================
Zhai, with her jumping ability, can reach some inaccessible areas, where some
goodies can be found. Here are what I have found so far:
Stage 3 - Cedarleaf
Where : Can't miss it - it's when you have to jump across the ledge to reach
a toggle which will extend the bridge. There's a chest on the ledge
above you.
Stage 4 - The Wizard's Tower
Where : When bugbears are throwing axes at you from a baloney opposite you,
where you can't reach them.
How : Watch out for a crack in the wall. Smash it and you will the treasury.
Stage 6 - The Yuan-Ti Temple
Where : At the beginning, when Zhai has to sneaked past the serpent guards.
How : When you cleared all the guards, avoid the main door but keep on
going ahead. You'll find a ledge with a treasure chest.
Stage 5 - Jungle of Chult
Where: Watermill, where Zhai and Illius was webbed and you got to cut them free.
How : Jump onto a crate at the southern of the room, then to the stairs, then
onto a ledge. Run till the end of the ledge to reach a chest, where a
triple-coin awaits.
Stage 8 - Into the Underdark
Note : There are two bonus areas in this chapter!
Bonus Area #1
Where: At the beginning, where Zhai must sneak through the guards.
How : There are two ledges at both side of the cave. Thosed are
'shadowed' area and you'll stay hidden as you jump from
the ledge to ledge
Bonus Area #2
Where: When trying to blast the Ice Gate.
How : According to Bobby LeClerc who sent in this great secret:
"In the Into the Underdark chapter, there is a ledge to the right of the
ice gate that Zhai can jump onto and run across. There are some goodies
and a level at the top. The lever closes doors in front of all the ice
mages, so they can't regenerate the gate."
Stage 9 - The Dragon's Lair
Where: Too numerous to counts (I think at least 3).
How : Each time you enter a room, look out for crates, smashed statues,
cracked statue bases and etc. to jump on. You'll find tonnes of gold
and experience points.
Stage 10 - Lord of Chaos
Where: Gemspark Mine, where you fight the Orc King in Stage 2
How : Look for a rock formation near to the entrance to 'invisible gate' which
only Illius can see (mentioned in stage 2). Jump on to the top of it for
a scroll.

CHAPTER 4 - IN CLOSING
First up, why no chapter on the upgrades? The upgrades this time round are
streamlined with many useless combos from the previous LOTR games thrown away.
I think it's pretty straightforward. Same goes for the item upgrades as well.
Second, there don't seem to be any unlockable characters, secret items of the
sort and so on to uncover. It's quite sad - having Drizzt replacing Zhai will be
neat.
Demon Stone is a fun game, but seems to be ulimately too short. Heck, they may
get together a random dungeon generator and allows us to re-play the frantic
hack and slash action over and over again.
Another lamentable thing is why the lack of two players support? This is a
perfect game for two players (there are three to choose from, at any rate).
Maybe Demon Stone II will have it. This game is crying for multi-player,
especially after witness how dumb the AI-controlled players can be.
In closing, I hope this guide has been helpful. Many thanks!
