what - it was written in attempts to reach as many fans as possible so I do not

III.    Slight Introduction

After last year's try at a transaction document for NHL2003 (by Ea) and NHL2k3
(by Sega) and getting in way over my head on some things - this year, I'm ready
and I know how to do it right this time around so without further ado, lets get
it on.

This document will NOT be about how to play ESPN Hockey or the controls.
That's what the instruction manual is for and if you don't have that, that's
what just randomly pushing buttons is for. This document will ONLY concentrate
on the roster aspect of the game and NOTHING else.  If you ever played a video
sports game straight from the box you may have noticed that the rosters aren't
usually right up to date as they should be. After all they need to set
deadlines before the game gets shipped and that's point of no return right
there. Or you've got a guy that's in charge of the rosters that can't keep
track of all the fringe players out there - and who can blame him, it's a lot
of work - and he misses things.  That's what I'm here for. This document fixes
everything that happens after ESPN Hockey hits the shelves.

Now for a little Q and A PLEASE DO READ

Q1 : When do you upate this FAQ?
A1 : At the end of each week I'm hoping. And for people who remember my FAQs
last year - I WILL be prepping for the deadline day so it won't hit me right in
the middle of everything like it did last year.

Q2 : Where can I contact you?
A2 : You can email me exclusively at [email protected] - that's the one
I check the most. You can also get a hold of me on AIM at Dags91.  I don't mind
talking to most people just don't be rude. And if I don't answer after a couple
minutes, I'm probably away and forgot to put up a message. I'm not trying to
snub you, just send me an email in that case.

Q3 : Where can I get the latest updates?
A3 : www.gamefaqs.com will always be suppplied with the latest copy but it

Q4 : Have you done any other FAQs?
A4 : Last year I did this same document for NHL2k3 and NHL2003. This year I
have ESPN Hockey and NHL2004 coming.

Q5 : You have so-and-so on the wrong team, you have so-and-so with the wrong
number, you have so-and-so under the wrong whatever - ect.
A5 : That's not much of a question but chances are I probably know about it
already and haven't gotten around to fixing it. I don't miss too many
transactions so if you think you see one that I missed, please first check the
date this was last updated and when the transaction became offical (I do NOT
deal with rumours to all who tried emailing me that McLaren was an Islander)
before you email me. It became a big pet peeve of mine last year with people
emailing me that I forgot this or that or did you hear about this or Burke may
go to St Louis - When it was either a rumour or the update for a certain
transaction hadn't come out yet. If you do email me about corrections, please
PLEASE try and be polite and if it's a spelling mistake, email that immediately
because I rarely catch those with player names with so many names included in
this document.
