1. Introduction
While on my daily romp of GameFAQs, I came across the Dead or Alive
Ultimate FAQ page and saw that only a few had shown up. Determined
to finally Contribute to the place I leech so much from, I composed
this Guide. This covers Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate, as Hitomi was
non-existent in Dead or Alive 1. Had she been, I still wouldn't
cover that piece of..."gaming history."

Hitomi is the daughter of a Japanese mother and a German karate master.
She has been practicing karate under her father's tutelage since she
was just a child. Hitomi has always wanted to fight in DOA in order to
test her formidable skills against the real world, and her father has
finally allowed her to participate. "There must be many powerful
opponents in this world," Hitomi tells herself, as she begins
practicing her craft with a new degree of enthusiasm.

3. Unlocking Hitomi
Hitomi is one of 3 fighters in DoA2U that you must unlock. To do
so, Complete Story mode with Ein on the Normal Setting. That isn't
all though, you must also have either a Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach
Volleyball or Dead or Alive 3 save on your Xbox HD. Hitomi can be
used in all game modes except for Story Mode. Now that she is on
your roster, let's get down to business.

4. Costumes
Costume Unlock
Hitomi gains the listed costume each time you beat Time Attack Mode
with said difficulty. Aside from Difficulty, Time Limit is the only
other option you can change, no, not even match point.
C3-C7 Easy, C8-C11 Normal, C9-14 Hard

C1: Jean jacket, Yellow tank top with a Purple bird in the middle,

C2: Gold and Brown tank top with a Yellow bird in the middle, Jeans
C3: White karate gi, Black tube top with a Yellow bird in the middle
C4: Blue and White zipped up jacket, Red plaid skirt, Black tights
C5: Blue bustier with Red laces, Blue short shorts, Orange sweater
C6: Blue bustier with Red laces, Blue short shorts.
C7: Brown and Cream colored Schoolgirl uniform, Black tights.
C8: White bikini top with Red polka dots, Jeans.
C9: Blue and White Tennis shirt with a picture of a bear and the
text "I <3 Sports" on the left shoulder, Pink skirt, Pink panties

6. Quick Tips for using Hitomi
Try to start matches with Hasai (f,F+p). It will cause a bit of
damage and stagger your enemy, giving you an opening to string a
combo if you act fast enough.
At every opportunity, use Kaho-Zuki (d,p)! It may not seem like
much, but sometimes fights are decided by the smallest of margins,
you want every centimeter you can get off of your opponent's bar.
Hitomi comes with a nice array of standard kick and punch combos,
use them! The longest combos aren't always the best choice. Be
nimble.
Gengetsu can turn the tide in your favor, using it will trip up your
opponents, allowing you to open up a full combo or any devastating
low attack in your arsenal.
Shorin is a great attack for knocking your enemy off the ground,
allowing you to get a juggle combo going. Juggling is a great way
to cause damage without fear of being reversed.
Play offensively. Hitomi is one of those characters that is blessed
with fast, hard hitting attacks, take full advantage.
Use exploding walls to your advantage. Any of the arenas with
explosion effect walls are a blessing when using Hitomi. Many of
her combos, even basic ones such as Ren-Fujin (p,p,p) knock the
enemy far enough back that they should hit a wall from almost
anywhere in the arena.
