1. Introduction
This FAQ/Walkthrough is for the Area 51 demo found in the November 2004 issue of
OXM (official Xbox magazine).  It covers questions about the demo and a
walkthrough.
Area 51 is a FPS (First person shooter) developed by Inevitable Entertainment
and published by Midway.

2. FAQ
                  Q. How long is this demo?
                  A. Very short.  It is maybe 5 minutes max if you kill every
                     thing and get all ammo/health.

                  Q. How can I get this Demo?
                  A. It is included in the November 2004 issue of Official
                     Xbox Magazine. Disk #37

                  Q. What is the blue bar for?
                  A. That is for mutagen.  You were affected by some alien
                     virus and now you have super powers or something.

                  Q. Can you mutate in the demo?
                  A. Since you can not fill you mutagen bar I would say no,
                     you can not mutate.

                  Q. What is the Yellow keycard for?
                  A. I dont know

                  Q. Why did you write this?
                  A. I had a boring saturday afternoon and nothing to do but
                     play the demo.

Right Analog Stick - Look
Left Analog Stick - Move
A - Jump
B - unused
X -Reload
Y - Zoom/Use Sight
Black - Cycle weapons right
White - Cycle weapons left
Start - pause menu
Back - unused
Left Trigger - Crouch
Right Trigger - Fire Weapon
Right Analog Button (click) - Melee
Left Analog Button (click) - unused
Digital Pad - Unused

       b. Weapons
Shotgun - 10 shots per round.  Can hold a total of 60 shots. Press Y for a two
shot blast
Sniper Rifle - 6 shots per round. Can hold a total of 24 shots. Press and hold
Y to zoom up to 10x
Hand Gun - 8 shots per round.  Can hold total of 120 shots. Press Y to line up
sight
Automatic Rifle - 30 shots per round. Can hold a total of 600 shots. Press Y for
sight

Needles - Use to increase health (green) until full.  Restores two units of
health
Automatic Rifle Ammo - Fills ammo one round
Shotgun - Fills ammo one round

Resume - Return to Game
Quit - Exit Demo
Invert Y Enabled/Disabled - Invert Look (Up & Down)
Vibration Enabled/Disable - Rumble (when the controller tingles)
use the left analog stick or Digital pad to move and the A button to choose
your selection.  Press start to resume the game

Status Bars
Health Bar- Bottom Left Corner. Lower Bar.  Green if 8+ units left, yellow
if 6-7,
and red if 5 or lower.
Mutagen Bar - The blue one.  Not used in Demo

Ammo left total - Bottom Box
Grenade icon - not used in demo

        f. Walkthrough
Bravo 1: Command we've got a serious Situation.  Mccann is down.  Repeat,
Mcann is
down.  We have hostiles of an unknown nature. They don't appear to be human.
Requesting permission to return to insertion point and regroup.

Command: Your insertion point has been compromised.  But there is no turning
back.  You need to keep moving.

Bravo 1: Roger that command.  Bravo Out.  Ok Bravo remember our objective.
Link up with haz team delta.  We are in a hot zone so stay sharp.

0nce the communications end the doors in front of you open revealing two humans
fighting three aliens.  Resist the urge to go help them kill the aliens. Instead
stay back because as soon as two more aliens enter the far door, an explosion
occurs in the center of the room.  Stay at the entrance and fight the two aliens
coming from the shadows to your right and left.  After the explosion charge
forward to the door. Grab the three needles and ammo if you need and get the
automatic rifle to dual wield. Run forward, out the door, and take a left.
Watch out for the aliens coming out of the door on your left.  Turn around
and kill the 4 aliens coming out of the door and then enter were you just
killed.  Take the ammo and yellow key card and run out down the stairs.
Pick up the needles under the stairs if your health is low and go to
the stairs opposite of the ones you just descended.  Head for the far door
and kill the four aliens that appear.  Turn left and shoot the 4 other
aliens and jump to the floor below.  Take out the two greys that are
on fire and pick up the ammo and health around you if you need it.

?: Crispy? You're on door duty
Crispy: Yes sir!
?: My crew is keeping this area secure.  But if you need it we'll provide
cover while you're moving forward
Crispy: Move in!

Go to the door Crispy was opening and take a left to get the needles. DO NOT
TOUCH THE FIRE. It will result in instant death.  Go to the door and enter.
Touching the sparking wires also results in an instant death.  Turn to your
right and shoot the six aliens that come out.  Go to the sparking computer
station and pick up the health if you need it.

?: Crispy! You're up again. The door please
Crispy: Yes sir!

Follow crispy through the door and enter into a large room like the one
you just left. Take a right and help the soldiers clear out the aliens
ahead of them.  Several aliens will jump from above so be wary.
You can go to the end of the room and go upstairs but there is not much
interesting up there.

Delta Leader: Thank God. You showed up just in time!

Haz Soldier: Good God! The ceilings are covered with those things!

Now take out your hand gun and start shooting the spider like creatures
in front of you.  If that isn't working use the automatic rifle.  When
you have killed them all you will hear a short message.

?: Backup requested south hallway side.  We're seriously out numbered.
Repeat backup requested.
