In this FAQ I have typed up every piece of dialogue and story related text that
appears in Super Star Wars for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The
text is exactly as it appears in the game except it's not all capitals.

* Opening *
********************************************
A long time ago in a galaxy far,
far away....
STAR
WARS
Episode IV
A New Hope
It is a period of civil war,
Rebel spaceships, striking
from a hidden base, have won
their first victory against
the evil Galactic Empire.
During the battle Rebel
spies managed to steal secret
plans to the Empire's
ultimate weapon, the DEATH
STAR, an armored space
station with enough power to
destroy an entire planet.
Pursued by the Empire's
sinister agents, Princess
Leia races home aboard her
starship, custodian of the
stolen plans that can save
her people and restore
freedom to the galaxy....

C-3PO: Over here! Hey! Hey!
Help! Please! Help!
I am C-3PO. Human Cyborg
relations. Something terrible
has happened!
My counterpart R2-D2 has been
captured by Jawas.
We must find him.

Leia's Recording on R2-D2: Help me Ob-wan Kenobi. You
are our only hope....
C-3PO: Master Luke! R2-D2 is babbling
about his mission. He says
that he is the property of an
Obi-wan Kenobi. A resident of
these parts. And he has a very
important message for him.

* Cut Scene 3 *
********************************************
Obi-wan: Tell me young Luke. What
brings you out this far.
Luke: Ben Kenobi!
Boy! Am I glad to see you.
This Droid has an
important message for you.
Obi-wan: Well little fellow. Let us see
what you have.
Leia's Recording on R2-D2: General Kenobi! Years ago you
served my father in the Clone
Wars. Now he begs you to help
him in this struggle against
the Empire. I have placed
information vital to the
survival of the Rebellion into
the memory system of this
R2-Unit.
You must see this Droid safely
delivered to him on Yavin.
This is our most desperate
hour.
Help me Ob-wan Kenobi. You
are our only hope....
Obi-wan: Luke! You must help me rescue
the Princess.
Here is your lightsaber. It is
the weapon of a Jedi Knight!

Han Solo: I'm Han Solo. Captain of the
Millennium Falcon.
You guys got yourself a ship.
We'll leave as soon as you
are ready.
Let's meet at docking bay
ninety-four.

Aboard the Millennium Falcon
our heroes blast into space
in search of the Princess.
As the Millennium Falcon
approaches the dreaded Death
Star its powerful tractor beam
pulls it into the battle
station's hangar bay.

* Cut Scene 6 *
********************************************
Luke: Princess Leia! I'm here to
rescue you. I've got your
R2-unit with the secret plans
of the Death Star.
Now we must deactivate the
tractor beam and escape.

* Cut Scene 7 *
********************************************
Darth Vader: I have been waiting for you
Obi-wan Kenobi. We meet again
at last.
When I left you I was the
learner.
But now I am the master!
Obi-wan: Only a master of evil!
You can't win, Darth. If you
strike me down I shall become
more powerful than you can
possibly imagine!
Our heroes escape in the
Millennium Falcon and race
across the galaxy to the
rebel base on Yavin.
An analysis of the secret
plans you have successfully
protected reveals a weakness
of the battle station's
defense.
A precise hit with your proton
torpedoes into a small exhaust
port at the end of the trench
will start a chain reaction
and destroy the Death Star.

that was one
in a million!
Congratulations!
You have destroyed the Death
Star and won another victory
against the evil galactic
empire.
The Imperial forces have
retreated and you have brought

always!
