                              1. Introduction

==============================================================================

Super Meat Boy is an amazing 2D platformer created by the two man strong Team
Meat. It is a tribute to the early 90's industry with precise and consistent
controls, and a brilliant and imaginative level design. The game is very hard,
but in the right way. No frustration, replaying and waiting, I would say that
Team Meat has brought us back to the very core of video gaming. The purpose of
this FAQ is not to offer a full beginning-to-end walkthrough or strategy
guide, but to cover most other aspects. This FAQ covers the XBox 360 version,
but can be used for other systems to some extent.

                                2. Bandages

==============================================================================

In this section you will find the locations of all the bandages. With little
exceptations there are no level strategies. Collecting bandages is vital for
unlocking hidden characters. For more info about that, check out the Hidden
Character section. You find 20 bandages in each of the first five chapters.
These are divided like this: seven in the light world, seven in the dark world
and six in the Warp Zones (two in each). And for some inexplicable reason
there is a single bandage in The Cotton Alley. That makes a total of 101.

=====================
Chapter 1: THE FOREST
=====================

Bandage 1: 1-4 NUTSHELL
 Very easy to spot in the right part of the level.

Bandage 2: 1-7 DIVERGE
 The bandage sits on top of a saw in the upper left part of the level. Do a
 careful wall jump and grab it in mid-air.

Bandage 3: 1-9 SAFETY THIRD
 Not far from Bandage Girl, you should see it to the right of a saw. Slide
 carefully along the row of shattering blocks to the left of the bandage and
 grab it.

Bandage 4: 1-11 FIRED
 Far up to the right. Don't break too many shattering blocks on the way up,
 then make a leap for it and steer to the left. Use the remaining blocks to
 get up to Bandage Girl.

Bandage 5: 1-13 TOMMY'S CABIN
 Just to the left of the first of the moving saw you come across. Be quick.

Bandage 6: 1-18 ALTAMONT
 You'll see five morning stars. The bandage sits on the right side of the
 bottom left morning star. Get over to the aforementioned platform, time
 your sliding down to grab the bandage and then wall jump up the mountain
 to the right.

Bandage 7: 1-20 THE TEST
 In the upper left corner of the level, where the first saws come from. Just
 time your wall jumping so you don't get sliced.

Bandage 8: 1-3X BZZZZZ
 Now for the Dark World. This bandage sits just above the giant saw in the
 centre. Wall jump from the left side of its platform and grab the bandage.

Bandage 9: 1-5X CREAMSODA
 This bandage can be a bit tricky to spot. It's just below the uppermost
 saw. Wall jump from below and be sure to hold the jump button long enough.

Bandage 10: 1-10X WALLS
 Near the ceiling of the level, between the rows of shattering blocks. Glide
 on the upper part of the left row of blocks and they will disappear. Hope-
 fully you'll be able to stand on the lower ones. Then you can jump to the
 bandage and carry on to Bandage Girl.

Bandage 11: 1-14X MYSTERY SPOT
 This one can be difficult. It's easy to spot a bit below Bandage Girl. Get
 on the platform above her and check the movement of the saw moving along
 the wall. Jump towards the bandage when the saw is at its bottom most
 setting. Then time your wall jump over the saw and up the platform again.
 Finish as usual.

Bandage 12: 1-15X KICK MACHINE
 This is one of the trickiest levels in the forest so make sure you know it
 before you reach for the bandage. The bandage in question sits just to the
 left of Bandage Girl. So when you've jumped over the final shooting saw you
 would usually run straight for the damsel. Instead you should jump over her
 and grab the bandage, then quickly jump again to dodge another saw.

Bandage 13: 1-17X THE CLOCK
 The bandage lies not far below Bandage Girl. Make sure to time your jumping
 over the "clock", carefully slide down the wall to the bandage and then
 wall jump up to the girl.

Bandage 14: 1-19X THE QUEENER
 Very close to the start, above the first rotating arm with a saw. Be quick
 and wall jump off the left wall to reach it.

Bandage 15: WARP ZONE: SKY PUP
 Found in level 1-1 in the Warp Zone SKY PUP. This Warp Zone is reached from
 level 1-5. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 16: WARP ZONE: SKY PUP
 Found in level 1-2 in the Warp Zone SKY PUP. This Warp Zone is reached from
 level 1-5. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 17: WARP ZONE: HAND HELD HACK
 Found in level 1-2 in the Warp Zone HAND HELD HACK. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 1-19. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 18: WARP ZONE: HAND HELD HACK
 Found in level 1-3 in the Warp Zone HAND HELD HACK. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 1-19. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 19: WARP ZONE: SPACE BOY
 Found in level 1-2 in the Warp Zone SPACE BOY. This Warp Zone is reached
 from level 1-13X. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 20: WARP ZONE: SPACE BOY
 Found in level 1-3 in the Warp Zone SPACE BOY. This Warp Zone is reached
 from level 1-13X. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

=======================
Chapter 2: THE HOSPITAL
=======================

Bandage 1: 2-2 ONE DOWN
 You'll most likely see this bandage on the right part of the level.
 Do a careful jump to one of the nearby platforms. Then jump to the bandage
 and slide along the wall to carry along the level.

Bandage 2: 2-5 BIG EMPTY
 This bandage sits in the bottom right corner of the level. To get it you
 need to fall through the fan protecting it at rather high speed.

Bandage 3: 2-10 JOHNNY'S CAGE
 The bandage isn't hard to spot: near the left wall. I find it the easiest
 to jump down to the platform below the cage and then jump through the left
 fan, letting it push you up to the bandage. Steer carefully. If you have
 Jill, she would be a sure bet to make it even easier.

Bandage 4: 2-13 ULCER POP
 You'll probably see the bandage half hidden behind a locked block in the
 bottom right corner of the level. The key can be found beside Bandage Girl.
 Get the key and get back down to unlock the block.

Bandage 5: 2-16 SYNJ
 Pretty high up to the left. Nothing funny about this.

Bandage 6: 2-18 DESTRUCTOID
 I like this one. First you need to (rather quickly) get the key and get
 through the level until you're just about to save Bandage Girl. At that
 point you should rest on the platform closest to her. See the bandage at
 the very centre of the level in an inaccessible area? There is a hidden
 passage leading here from the bottom left corner of the area. You can see a
 window where you should get in. After 20 seconds have passed on the timer,
 you'll notice that the lasers are disabled for about a second. That is
 your quo to run to the hidden passage. Wall jump through the bandage and
 then get back in to the passage. You'll be led into another passage which
 leads away from the lasers and towards Bandage Girl.

Bandage 7: 2-20 DAY BREAKER
 You can see the bandage right from the start. To get it, you need to get
 up on the roof of the structure and then down to the right wall. You'll
 find a path towards the bandage from over there.

Bandage 8: 2-4X BLOWN
 Finding the bandage in this level isn't hard. Just above your head to the
 left. To get it, you should get up on the platform to the right of it and
 then jump towards it. When you've collected it, quickly steer to the right
 and safe ground. If you find it hard I can recommend characters Jill or
 Tim.

Bandage 9: 2-6X CHER NOBLE
 You'll find the bandage below the fan closest to Bandage Girl. You'll
 probably see its silhouette. To get it you need to stand above the fan and
 drop just in front of it down to where the bandage lie.

Bandage 10: 2-7X THE MOON
 I love the colouring in these levels. You find the bandage in the bottom
 left part of the level. It sits on a little island in the toxic waste.

Bandage 11: 2-10X THE KRACKEN
 A little tricky with Meat Boy. You need to carefully slide to the bandage
 and then towards the fan to save yourself. The best thing to do is to use
 Jill. Her floating will make this really easy.

Bandage 12: 2-12X GREY MATTER
 You can neither see, nor get this bandage before you've collected all three
 keys. Then the bandage will be uncovered in a slot in the platform just
 below Bandage Girl. Do a very slight jump from the platform to the right of
 Bandage Girl and you should be able to land in the slot. From there you can
 wall jump back up. If that doesn't work for you, get Jill.

Bandage 13: 2-15X INSURANCE?
 Get the first key and then wall jump along the locked blocks. When the
 blocks disappear you will see a bandage uncovered in the upper right part
 of the level. Jump up to it and try to land on the edge of the platform
 below.

Bandage 14: 2-16X P.S.Y.
 Get through the level as usual and you'll find the bandage just below
 Bandage Girl. Get cover from the laser and then slide down to bandage.
 Wall jump back up to the girl.

Bandage 15: WARP ZONE: CASTLE CRUSHERS
 Found in level 1-1 in the Warp Zone CASTLE CRUSHERS. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 2-12. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 16: WARP ZONE: CASTLE CRUSHERS
 Found in level 1-2 in the Warp Zone CASTLE CRUSHERS. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 2-12. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 17: WARP ZONE: THE BLOOD SHED
 Found in level 1-1 in the Warp Zone THE BLOOD SHED. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 2-15. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 18: WARP ZONE: THE BLOOD SHED
 Found in level 1-3 in the Warp Zone THE BLOOD SHED. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 2-15. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 19: WARP ZONE: 1977
 Found in level 1-1 in the Warp Zone 1977. This Warp Zone is reached from
 level 2-5X. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 20: WARP ZONE: 1977
 Found in level 1-3 in the Warp Zone 1977. This Warp Zone is reached from
 level 2-5X. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

===========================
Chapter 3: THE SALT FACTORY
===========================

Bandage 1: 3-1 PIT STOP
 In the top right corner of the level, between two saws.

Bandage 2: 3-2 THE SALT LICK
 Get down to the very floor of the shaft.

Bandage 3: 3-4 TRANSMISSIONS
 As for as my knowledge goes, you cannot use Meat Boy for this one. Get Tim
 preferably, but The Kid, Ogmo and Flywrench also works. You can see the
 bandage at the very centre of the level, above the salt pit. If you use Tim,
 jump down to it and once you've gotten it, rewind your steps by holding the
 action button. For the rest of the characters it's just to double jump back
 up to safe ground.

Bandage 4: 3-10 BREAKDOWN
 This bandage is right between Bandage Girl and the last rocket launcher.
 The easiest is to get close, lure out a rocket, dodge it and get the
 bandage in the intermission.

Bandage 5: 3-11 BOX TRIPPER
 This one isn't obvious. Notice the wall of saws following you? A bandage is
 following the saw wall. The only way to get through the wall is through the
 space below it. Carefully wall jump between the structures closest to the
 starting point as close to the abyss as you can. When the wall has passed
 you'll see the bandage. Follow it until you reach the first tall structure.
 Wall jump off it and you should get the bandage if you are quick.

Bandage 6: 3-18 THE GRUNDLE
 You can probably see the bandage in a slot in the ceiling. Finish the level
 as usual, but before you get Bandage Girl, wall jump up to the roof of the
 building and drop down to the bandage.

Bandage 7: 3-20 WHITE NOISE
 You will see your poor bandage locked in a cell on your way through the
 level. The key is right next to Bandage Girl. Get the key, but be very
 quick to avoid getting blown by a rocket. Then head back to the bandage
 and finish the level.

Bandage 8: 3-3X THE RED ROOM
 You can see the bandage just below the starting platform. It sits just under
 a shattering block. First get the key and slide down do the bandage just
 before you get Bandage Girl.

Bandage 9: 3-5X WASP
 You have probably seen this one, pretty high up above a saw. It's quite
 possible to get this one with Meat Boy. Just do a running jump from the
 platform to the right and you should skip right over the saw and get the
 bandage. Or just use Jill. She's terrific for this level. I recommend you
 to get all keys before you aim for the bandage.

Bandage 10: 3-6X NOT YOU AGAIN
 This one can be annoying. It's a little hard to spot because of the
 colouring. It's above the building just high enough so you can't reach it
 with regular jumping. But if you wall jump up the wall from the outside of
 the building you can get the bandage if you practice. But you need to jump
 off the wall at its highest point. Another method is to let yourself get
 rocketed into the air by the conveyor belts, but I find that a lot harder.

Bandage 11: 3-7X PLUCK
 The bandage isn't hard, but the actual level is. You find it between the
 saws at the upper centre of the level. I strongly recommend using Jill, if
 you don't consider it cheating of course. Use her floating to get the
 dropping keys easier and by floating through the saws.

Bandage 12: 3-14X SALMON
 This one sits near Bandage Girl, but worryingly close to the salt. I
 recommend using Tim here. Stand close to Bandage Girl, jump to the bandage
 and then rewind time just before you hit the salt.

Bandage 13: 3-16X THE CHASER
 You find this bandage in the upper right corner of the level. Get the key
 first and then wall jump to the bandage. From here you have two ways of
 finishing. If you are fast, you can follow the platform and finish the
 level as usual. If you're more easy-going, you can stand still in your
 slot and wait for the saw wall. It will not hurt you. Let it pass and then
 race to Bandage Girl.

Bandage 14: 3-19X EL TOPO
 Now they're starting to get annoying. You can see it in a cage just above
 you. The key is on the roof of the building. It's just a matter of
 practicing I believe. I think the easiest is to break as few rows of blocks
 as possible. Stand on the far right row for the first rocket launchers and
 don't break the blocks covering you from the bottom launcher. By keeping
 as many blocks intact they serve as protection on your way up to the bandage
 once you've gotten the key. When you head back, try to be as quick as you
 possible can be and don't break more blocks then you have to.

Bandage 15: WARP ZONE: CARTRIDGE DUMP
 Found in level 1-1 in the Warp Zone CARTRIDGE DUMP. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 3-5. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 16: WARP ZONE: CARTRIDGE DUMP
 Found in level 1-3 in the Warp Zone CARTRIDGE DUMP. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 3-5. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 17: WARP ZONE: TUNNEL VISION
 Found in level 1-1 in the Warp Zone TUNNEL VISION. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 3-7. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 18: WARP ZONE: TUNNEL VISION
 Found in level 1-3 in the Warp Zone TUNNEL VISION. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 3-7. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 19: WARP ZONE: KONTRA
 Found in level 1-2 in the Warp Zone KONTRA. This Warp Zone is reached from
 level 3-8X. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 20: WARP ZONE: KONTRA
 Found in level 1-2 in the Warp Zone KONTRA. This Warp Zone is reached from
 level 3-8X. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

===============
Chapter 4: HELL
===============

Bandage 1: 4-2 BRINDLE
 You find this bandage close to the cave ceiling about halfway through the
 level. It's half concealed. Wall jump up to it and then jump to the lava
 stream source to the right. From there you can carry on to the moving
 platform.

Bandage 2: 4-6 LEVIATHAN
 You can see the bandage just above Bandage Girl. The only thing in your
 way is a saw moving back and forth. When you get the chance, get through the
 space where the saw is and into the slot below. Wait there for it to pass,
 then jump up and get the bandage.

Bandage 3: 4-9 DECEIVER
 You probably see the bandage right away. Jump straight up into the portal
 to your right and then steer carefully to the bandage. It may take some
 practice to get it right. Or just use Jill and it's a breeze.

Bandage 4: 4-13 LAZY
 This one can be tricky. You see it behind some shattering blocks to the
 left. This is how I do it. Begin by wall jumping up towards the bandage.
 Break as few of the horizontal blocks as possible but be sure to break a few
 of the blocks blocking the bandage. You probably can't get it because you'll
 be shot. Carry on to the key near Bandage Girl and then get the key in the
 trench. Jump back up to Bandage Girl and then jump towards the bandage in
 a counter clock-wise manner. Get the last key and then wall jump up to the
 girl. If you miss either the bandage or the key, just try and do the last
 step again until you make it... or get shot.

Bandage 5: 4-16 BOW
 This one isn't that easy. You can probably see the bandage behind some bars
 to the left of the starting point. To unlock the path to the bandage you
 need to touch the button in the top left corner of the level, in the
 ceiling. This isn't that easy. You've dealt with the laser eyes before. Just
 try and take cover at all points. The monster launcher (Abaddon?) is worse.
 When you stand below it, it cannot shoot you. So before you go for the
 button, be sure to lure a monster out that hits the block below it. Getting
 back down to get the bandage is pretty much the same thing as getting up,
 but the shattering blocks aren't there to block you. Wall jump to the
 ceiling where the blocks used to be and then land on the left side of the
 barrier and you should be okay. When you have the bandage it's just to get
 up again.

Bandage 6: 4-17 LOST HIGHWAY
 You see it outside the left wall. Really hard to get with Meat Boy, but very
 simple using Ogmo. Some of the other characters work as well, but Ogmo is
 the best. Just use the double jump and wall jumps to get up the wall. Then
 finish the level in an orderly fashion.

Bandage 7: 4-20 BABYLON
 Hard to miss. You see it near the ceiling in the same room as Bandage Girl.
 I think you should just be very quick to wall jump the right wall, towards
 the bandage and then drop on to Bandage Girl. You will probably just be
 shot at once and you can probably avoid the clusters with some practice.

Bandage 8: 4-3X CHAR
 Although this is a silhouetted level, you should probably spot it on the
 right side close to the top. You could get it on your way up if your good.
 If you miss it, stay close to Bandage Girl and you will see the lava sink
 back again. Get back down and get the bandage stress free.

Bandage 9: 4-4X ALTERED
 Pretty much impossible to miss. There are several ways of getting it. Meat
 Boy should work or you could use Jill or any other jump character and try
 to float towards it from the side. My favourite way is to use Tim. Wall
 jump into it and then rewind time before you hit the lava fall.

Bandage 10: 4-8X BILLY BOY
 Just to the right of the starting are, you should see some grate. Although
 silhouetted, you should be able to spot the bandage behind the grate. Get it
 and finish the level as you would. I found this one very hard.

Bandage 11: 4-10X GALLOW
 You find the bandage in the big room to the right. Use Tim and jump down to
 it. Then rewind time and wall jump up to Bandage Girl.

Bandage 12: 4-14X OLD SCRATCH
 You should see the bandage near the bottom right laser eye. Get down to the
 platform just above the eye in question. To get the bandage you should jump
 down into the bottom right corner and then move in a clock-wise motion
 around the eye to get the bandage. Then get cover behind the top left
 barrier from the eye and carry on to Bandage Girl taking cover behind every
 barrier.

Bandage 13: 4-18X SAG CHAMBER
 This bandage sits very close to the starting point. Getting it isn't hard,
 but I find it very hard to be able to follow the moving platform onwards.
 If you miss the platform, you must wall jump until another shows up, 28
 seconds later. That is what makes it annoying. My tip is to try and master
 the level first so you don't have to replay as many times including that
 28 second pause. To avoid the monster launcher, I recommend sticking to the
 right wall in the big room and doing really wide wall jumps.

Bandage 14: 4-19X LONG GOOD BYE
 This bandage is hidden in one of the shattering blocks near the left wall.
 Begin the level by standing still for half a second to lure a monster. Then
 jump towards the shattering blocks on the left wall to reveal the bandage.
 Then quickly jump towards the right wall to draw the fire in another dire-
 ction. Then jump back to get the bandage. As of now, the path should be open
 to Bandage Girl. Get down to her. This isn't as easy as it sounds and
 requires some practice to get everything right.

Bandage 15: WARP ZONE: BRIMSTONE
 Found in level 1-2 in the Warp Zone BRIMSTONE. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 4-8. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 16: WARP ZONE: BRIMSTONE
 Found in level 1-3 in the Warp Zone BRIMSTONE. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 4-8. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 17: WARP ZONE: THE KEY MASTER
 Found in level 1-2 in the Warp Zone THE KEY MASTER. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 4-14. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 18: WARP ZONE: THE KEY MASTER
 Found in level 1-3 in the Warp Zone THE KEY MASTER. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 4-14. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 19: WARP ZONE: MMMMMM
 Found in level 1-2 in the Warp Zone MMMMMM. This Warp Zone is reached from
 level 4-7X. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 20: WARP ZONE: MMMMMM
 Found in level 1-3 in the Warp Zone MMMMMM. This Warp Zone is reached from
 level 4-7X. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

==================
Chapter 5: RAPTURE
==================

Bandage 1: 5-3 RIPE DECAY
 You find it on the left wall of the right building. Jump into the shockwave
 in the centre of the level to let it boost you up the wall to the bandage.

Bandage 2: 5-5 PANIC SWITCH
 You see it above some saws in the upper part of the level. Don't hit the
 switch yet. Instead, get through the level to the right and wall jump off
 the arching wall to boost yourself to the bandage. Then hit the switch and
 clear the level.

Bandage 3: 5-9 ABOMINATION
 High up in the building just to the right of the starting point, you can see
 two saws through the windows. The bandage is hidden between these saws and
 can be reached from the left or right.

Bandage 4: 5-12 10 HORNS
 First get Tim. Go to the right from the starting point and you should see
 the bandage on the other side of the wall. Climb up to the top and then
 wall slide down towards the bandage. Get the bandage and use Tim's reverse
 time potion to get back.

Bandage 5: 5-16 ROTGUT
 You can easily see the bandage from the starting point. Either get through
 the level and pick it up or cheat. You can jump over the shockwaves with
 Flywrench or why not shoot right through them with Spelunkys explosive
 flight. Execute it by double jumping.

Bandage 6: 5-18 GATE OF LUDD
 This isn't easy with Meat Boy. I prefer using Jill. Wall jump up to the left
 cannon and then float to the bandage. Continue floating to the key and then
 hover above one of the shockwaves while the level unlocks itself.

Bandage 7: 5-20 JUDGMENT
 You find the bandage in the pit to the left of Bandage Girl. Too bad there's
 a unit of abominations down there. First get to the right side of the pit
 and make sure all of the enemies are at the same place. Then jump to the
 right edge of the screen. From there you should make a jump straight down
 the pit and land on the bandage. Then quickly wall jump off the left wall
 back up to the left side of the pit. You must be very quick though, and you
 must do the jump down the pit just after the blocks have disappeared. If
 you don't, the blocks will get time to reappear just before you jump out of
 the pit and you will be hammered by the enemies.

Bandage 8: 5-4X ALABASTER
 In the same building as Bandage Girl. You see it on the right wall pretty
 far down. Learn to master those shockwaves.

Bandage 9: 5-5X NIX
 You can see it just below the starting point. Hit the switch and then jump
 quickly down and get the bandage. Then wall jump up again. You must be
 very quick because if the blocks come back, you must kill yourself and try
 again. When you have the bandage and are back at the starting area, just
 complete the level as usual.

Bandage 10: 5-8X DOWNER
 The bandage isn't the problem - the level is. You find the silhouetted
 bandage halfway down the level in the centre.

Bandage 11: 5-10X PULP FACTORY
 There are four keys and you must get them all to unlock the paths to both
 the bandage and Bandage Girl. Alternate jumping back and forth across the
 pit to lure your adversaries down their demise. Make sure to time the jumps
 so you get the keys. Takes some practice, but not too hard.

Bandage 12: 5-11X BLIGHT
 Kind of complicated. First get through the tunnel. Note the two switches,
 one on the ground and one between the saws. The one on the ground opens a
 path to the right of Bandage Girl leading to the bandage. The one between
 the saws opens the path to Bandage Girl. Hit the one on the ground first
 and then wall jump off the left wall so you hit the switch between the saws.
 Steer so you land on the right side of the shockwave. Quickly jump into the
 shockwave and let it boost you to the path above. Get through it and get
 down the path next to Bandage Girl (if you've been quick enough). Note all
 of the abominations? Get close to the edge so you get them all at the same
 place. Then jump down to the bandage and quickly wall jump off the left
 wall and back up to safety. Hit the switch and get up to Bandage Girl.

Bandage 13: 5-17X MILLENIUM
 Just to the left of the second cannon, you can see a slot in the ground.
 The bandage is pretty concealed in that slot and there are some blocks you
 need to blow. To the right you have a rocker launcher aiming at you. Your
 mission is to lure one of its rockets to blow out the blocks covering the
 bandage. The easiest way of achieving this is to stand on the right side
 of the structure with a switch in it and then wall jump straight up in the
 air. The rocket launcher will fire at you, miss and hopefully break out the
 bandage. Adjust the height of your jumping until it hits dead-on. You can
 also adjust how far to the right or left you lean when you lure the rocket.

Bandage 14: 5-18X STAIN
 This bandage comes from the bottom left corner into the screen after six
 seconds. I recommend you to stay in the bottom left corner and wait for the
 saw wall to pass you. After that, to finish the level as you normally would
 do. That's really not my department, but it might be useful if I share.
 Note how the cannons fire. Either they fire horizontally and vertically or
 diagonally. And all of the cannons fire in the same way. I will refer to
 them like this: horizontal or diagonal fire. From the position in the bottom
 left corner after you've gotten the bandage and the saw barrier has passed,
 wait for a horizontal fire and for both bullets to pass, and jump up to the
 nearest platform. Now wait for another horizontal fire and jump up to the
 platform above. Then go straight for the key and the platform to the right.
 While standing on this platform you only have to avoid the bullets coming
 from the left and right, and these can be avoided with a single jump for
 every turn. Wait for the blocks to unlock and then get Bandage Girl.

Bandage 15: WARP ZONE: SKYSCRAPER
 Found in level 1-2 in the Warp Zone SKYSCRAPER. This Warp Zone is
 reached from level 5-1. See section about Warp Zones below for details.

Bandage 16: WARP ZONE: SKYSCRAPER

THE COTTON ALLEY
================

Bandage 1: 7-12X PINK
 Yes, one single bandage in the entire chapter. Weird. You can see it with
 some effort inside one of the locked blocks on the lower left wall. When you
 have gotten the key, make your way to Meat Boy, but don't get him yet.
 Instead, slide down the left wall and then wall jump back up avoiding the
 saws.

==============================================================================

                               3. Warp Zones

==============================================================================

In each of the five major chapters, you find four Warp Zones with three levels
in each. That makes a total of 60 Warp Zone levels. In each chapter there are
three Warp Zones containing two bandages each. The last Warp Zone is always
a Hidden Character based Zone. Using the character in question, you need to
get through three levels to get the character permanently. There are always
three Warp Zones in the Light World and one in the Dark World. This section
covers the locations of all the Warp Zones and all the bandages inside. Little
or no strategies are shared for actually finishing the Warp Zones. Check out
the other FAQs at GameFAQs.com or why not Youtube.com to get more thorough
information.

=====================
Chapter 1: THE FOREST
=====================

WARP ZONE: SKY PUP
 The first Warp Zone is reached from level 1-5 HOLY MOUNTAIN. You find the
 warp (a purple vortex) near Bandage Girl. The warp disappears after 17
 seconds so don't take too long. There are two bandages. The first can be
 found in level 1-1 of SKY PUP. It sits on the bottom left part of the
 screen. You see it if you descend slightly. When you have the bandage, it is
 simply to wall jump up to the start and then towards Bandage Girl. The
 second bandage lies in the next level at the very centre of the structure.
 You reach it by carefully wall jumping to the platform straight below from
 the bandage. From there you jump straight up and wall jump through the
 trench.

WARP ZONE: THE COMMANDER!
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 1-12 REVOLVE. It's found in the upper
 left corner of the level and disappears after 17 seconds. This Zone doesn't
 contain any bandages but instead you get the hidden character Commander
 Video if you beat all three level. In all three levels you need to use
 the Commanders float ability by holding the jump button down. That way you
 can glide far.

WARP ZONE: HAND HELD HACK
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 1-19 INTERMISSION. About half way
 through the level, you should be able to see the vortex in the upper part.
 You reach it from a hidden passage to the left. 17 seconds, then it's gone.
 This Game Boy Zone contains two bandages. The first level is passed by
 timing your wall jumps until you reach Bandage Girl. In the second level
 you should be able to see the bandage in the centre of the bottom part.
 You need to move very fast through the labyrinth and you should be able to
 fall right on the bandage. If there are no block to fall on, you simply
 haven't been fast enough. Do short fast wall jumps inside the labyrinth
 and you should be okay. The second bandage is in the final level.
 You find it close to Bandage Girl. Do some careful jumping to get it.

WARP ZONE: SPACE BOY
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 1-13X TOMMY'S CONDO. Note that this is
 the Dark World. The vortex is found in the upper left corner of the level
 and it sticks around for about 17 seconds. The path there should be obvious
 and the rest is just timing and practice. There are two bandages in Space
 Boy. Jump up through the first level. The second one looks similar but holds
 a bandage high up to the right. Grab it and then quickly steer back to the
 blocks. The third level holds the second bandage. You find it on a tiny
 block above Bandage Girl so be sure to take the upper paths through the
 level.

=======================
Chapter 2: THE HOSPITAL
=======================

WARP ZONE: THE BOOTLICKER!
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 2-8 THE SABBATH. In the last tall
 structure before Bandage Girl, you'll see the silhouetted vortex in a slot
 in the upper part. It disappears after 17 seconds so don't stick around for
 too long. In this Warp Zone you'll meet Jill from Mighty Jill-off. Beat the
 three levels and you'll get her as playable characters. There isn't much to
 say but to use her amazing float ability by repeatedly pushing the jump
 button while being in mid-air. Especially in the final level you need to
 float around the spiked things. Jill is great, use her a lot.

WARP ZONE: CASTLE CRUSHERS
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 2-12 ABOVE and not that obvious. You
 can see the warp zone in the centre of the level, but it's locked off.
 First you need to get the key far to the right. This will trigger another
 key to fall down from the lamp (pair of electrodes) to the left and above
 the vortex. Be quick to get back to the platform with the vortex to be able
 to spot this illusive key and, with some practice, catch it before it falls
 down. The vortex disappears after 17 seconds as usual. In this Warp Zone
 you can get two bandages. In the first level you'll find it near the right
 wall. Slide along the wall and carefully fall to Bandage Girl when you've
 got the bandage. The next bandage is found in the second level. You can
 see it high up to the left. Plan your ascend through the shattering blocks
 and rest on the highest solid block to the left. From there you can get the
 bandage and carry on up to Bandage Girl. Just be sure to break the right
 blocks. The final level requires a lot of speed and timing. Be sure to get
 past the shooting precisely after the saw has made contact with the wall.

WARP ZONE: THE BLOOD SHED
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 2-15 GALLBLADDER. You can see the
 vortex in a window in the upper part of the level. Get to it from the left.
 17 seconds, then it disappears. You get two bandages here. The first one in
 the first level. You see it on the left outside of the building. First get
 the key at the top and then get out of the house and wall jump to the
 bandage. From there it's just to wall jump up to Bandage Girl. Then get
 through the second level by wall jumping. The final level contains the
 other bandage. You see the little pink bandage in the right part in mid-air.
 Jump carefully to it and then quickly steer to the left. If you've done
 correctly you will be able to wall jump off the narrow platform closest to
 the bandage.

WARP ZONE: 1977
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 2-5X AGENT ORANGE in the Dark World.
 The vortex is found on a ledge just above the start point. Get up the level
 as usual but to a great jump to the aforementioned ledge. Be rather quick
 since it disappears after 17 seconds. I find 1977 rather difficult. There
 are two bandages here, the first one in the first level. You can see it
 just to the left of bandage girl. My pointer is to first break the top
 three or four shattering blocks by sliding on them, then jump back to the
 left platform. Then jump on top of the last shattering blocks to be able to
 jump to the bandage and Bandage Girl. The next level has no bandage but
 can be tricky if you don't know the timing. It's just to practice. In the
 final level you can see the bandage on the other side of the wall. Time your
 wall jumping through the shooting until you reach the top of the structure.
 Then get to the left edge of the top and carefully drop down to the left.
 If you aim right, you should land right on the bandage at the bottom. Then
 do some careful wall jumping to your Bandage Girl.

===========================
Chapter 3: THE SALT FACTORY
===========================

WARP ZONE: CARTRIDGE DUMP
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 3-5 UPTOWN. The vortex can be seen
 inside the building on your right. About a second after you appear, a key
 will fall down just to your left. Get it quickly by being near. This unlocks
 a path into the Warp Zone. Get there within 11 seconds or the vortex is no
 more. Similar to 1977 this is a job for 4Bit Meat Boy. In the first level
 you can see the bandage floating in the centre. You cannot reach it with a
 regular long jump, instead you must do a wall jump off the tiny block to the
 right of the starting platform. Practice and you'll get enough altitude to
 get the bandage. The next level is similar, but no bandage. The final level
 is the same thing but higher up in the air. You must do a wall jump just
 like in 1-1 to get the bandage, but this is actually easier since the blocks
 are taller.

WARP ZONE: TUNNEL VISION
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 3-7 MIND THE GAP. You find the vortex
 just to the right of the big salt stream in the centre. It disappears after
 just 10 seconds. I find it easiest to use Jill to float into the portal.
 Ogmo would also do fine. I like the simplicity of this Warp Zone. All the
 three levels are connected. In the first level you find the bandage in the
 bottom left corner. You are required to do a wall jump off the wall at its
 lowest point to get it. The second level is a merely a transition of
 avoiding saws. In the final level you see the bandage in the bottom right
 corner of the screen. Be careful not to break the two top most shattering
 blocks or you won't get up to Bandage Girl. Just like in the first level
 you should do a wall jump in a similar way.

WARP ZONE: THE JUMP MAN!
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 3-16 MONO. Very easy to enter once you
 know where it is. Jump to the platform to the right of the starting area
 and the vortex will float up after 10 seconds and disappears after 19.
 By completing this Warp Zone you unlock the character Ogmo from the game
 Jumper. These levels can be frustrating, but I can't give you much more than
 learn how Ogmo's dubbel jump works and time it well. In the final level
 you need to combine the double jump with wall jumping. Wall jump pretty
 far from the wall and then do the double jump and you should be okay.

WARP ZONE: KONTRA
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 3-8X SALT CROWN in the Dark World.
 You can see the vortex from the starting point, but it's locked off.
 Continue to the right and you will see the key in a wedge in the roof.
 The tricky part is that the vortex disappears after 16 seconds so you have
 to be fast. The most annoying part is the rocket launcher on the roof.
 If you keep getting blown up when you get the key, try to make the rocket
 shoot at you just before you collect the key. Other than that it's just
 speed I think. The first level has no bandage, but is the hardest of the
 three in my opinion. Move quickly to the key and then wall jump off the
 left wall straight towards Bandage Girl. In the second level you can see
 the bandage to the right and the Bandage Girl to the left. Begin by wall
 jumping up to the right key first and then jump straight over to the left
 key. While waiting for the unlocking progress to be complete I recommend
 you to simply run back and forth along the floor avoiding the rockets.
 Then wall jump up to the bandage and, of course, your girl. The final level
 contains four keys and four locks. The top right key can be ignored, but
 taking the bottom left one you will unlock the bandage. Get the bandage
 first and then get the top left and bottom right keys to unlock Bandage
 Girl. Note that the rockets don't see you if you stand on the blocks with
 keys so move swiftly between them.

===============
Chapter 4: HELL
===============

WARP ZONE: BRIMSTONE
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 4-8 WEIBE. This vortex isn't visible.
 Get to the top right corner of the level and you should see something
 strange going on with the ceiling here. Jump repeatedly up to the strange-
 ness and you should hit the warp. It seems to disappear after about 17 secs.
 The Warp Zone is a set of interesting levels. The first level is just about
 timed jumps above and below fireballs. No bandage here. In second level you
 come across the first bandage. You see it near the bottom left corner. I
 recommend jumping to the bandage as quickly as you possible can muster. If
 you begin right away, you should hit the bandage before the fireballs start
 roaming. The tricky part is getting up. Try to wall jump to the right wall
 just after the top most fireball has gone passed you. If you don't get hit,
 you must be very quick up the wall. The third level is not that different
 from WEIBE. The bandage sits on an island in the bottom left corner. You
 can't reach it from the starting area, but must get up through the levels
 and jump to it from the roof. And then get back up again. The timing can be
 tricky. Note that you must consider two fireballs. One rolls on the ramps
 and the other comes falling on the right side. To ascend to the second
 level, you must wall jump just after the falling fireball has passed. When
 you are face to face with the lower fireball spitter, you should wall jump
 over it just before it shoots a fireball. That way you will dodge both
 fireballs. The top fireball spitter is easier to dodge.

WARP ZONE: THE KEY MASTER
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 4-14 ADVERSARY. You should see the
 vortex concealed in the top left corner of the level. The entrance to it
 is from the slightly broken ceiling to the right of it. Just be quick to
 avoid the eye. It disappears after 22 seconds. The first Warp Zone level has
 no bandage. Get the key and wall jump through the labyrinth. I think the
 easiest method is to stop when you are above Bandage Girl the first time.
 Just let the unlocking continue and jump to avoid the shooting saws from the
 right. The second level has a bandage in the left centre. To hit the bandage
 you must do really wide wall jumps. I find it easiest to wall jump from the
 lower part of the wall. Not from the bottom though. Get all keys when you're
 done and then Bandage Girl. The last level also has a bandage. You find it
 in one of the shattering blocks. It's the third one from the right and
 second from the top. Getting there is a bit hard though. To get through the
 second and third saw shooter, you must jump just after the second one has
 shot a saw and then run and jump from the third one. Note that you must be
 very quick in a flowing motion. Then it's just to time your jumping to break
 the blocks and avoid the saws.

WARP ZONE: THE FLY GUY!
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 4-18 BORIS. You can not spot this one.
 It's totally concealed in a hidden passage just to the right of the monster
 launcher. Jump towards it just after it has released its first demon and you
 should easily find the passage. It seems to disappear after 17 seconds. By
 finishing this Warp Zone you will unlock the character Flywrench. Just like
 the previous character Warp Zones, it is basically about learning how to
 manoeuvre the character. Note how Flywrench has a triple jump and use it to
 clear the tricky obstacles.

WARP ZONE: MMMMMM
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 4-7X THISTLE in the Dark World.
 Probably one of the hardest Warp Zones to reach. You can see it in the left
 bottom part of the screen and you need to use one of you double jumping
 characters to jump over the saws and in between. I think Ogmo is best, but
 Jill, Commander, The Kid and Flywrench should do well. This is basically
 just about practicing to get the timing right. It's frustrating, but keep at
 it. At least the time limit of 11 seconds, shouldn't be a problem. This
 VVVVVV based Warp Zone is very interesting. The first level is just about
 timed jumping with a dangerous wall following you. The second level has a
 wall following you from below. Wall jump upwards and you find the bandage.
 You get it by doing a wall jump from one wall to the other. Might take some
 practice. The third level is not difficult. Follow the big blocks around the
 labyrinth and you'll hit Bandage Girl. Jump over her and get the bandage in
 the very centre.

==================
Chapter 5: RAPTURE
==================

WARP ZONE: SKYSCRAPER
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 5-1 THE WITNESS. You see the vortex
 right from the start and the path there should be obvious. It disappears
 after 22 seconds. Finishing this Warp Zone is a real challenge. Especially
 since you have to reenter the Warp Zone all the time. The first level does
 not contain a bandage, but I find it difficult anyway. It's mostly about
 precise jumping to get keys and there's not much to say about these. You
 will notice two passages with vertical saw shooting. For the first passage,
 you should clear the passage just after they've passed and then wall jump.
 The second passage is worse. When you've taken the third key. You must wall
 jump and get between the saws. The easiest way is to NOT switch wall when
 you wall jump through them. The second level isn't easier. This is also
 about precise jumping and wall jumping. Get to the very top and you find a
 key. Slide down next to the spiked wall to the right. And you will get back
 to the starting area and a caged bandage. The next step is to get all the
 way up again. There's no short-cut. I recommend you to at least finish the
 third level once, before attempting to get this bandage. The third level is
 also very straight forward. The bandage is very visible near the end of the
 level. The last fall can be tough, but just keep a cold head.

WARP ZONE: THE GUY!
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 5-7 THE FALLEN. The vortex sits on the
 very right edge of the level, halfway down. It disappears after just nine
 seconds so you must be very very quick. By finishing this Warp Zone you get
 The Kid from I Wanna be the Guy. But this is way harder than any of the
 earlier character Warp Zones. It's all about skill and practice here. Be
 sure to have a lot of spare time, since you have unlimited lives. If you do
 turn off the console, you must restart from the first level.

WARP ZONE: SUNSHINE ISLAND
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 5-12 10 HORNS. The vortex is on top of
 the little mountain just above the starting point. If you jump high, you
 should be able to see it. The easiest way of getting there is to use
 Flywrench or Alien Hominid to jump really high and then wall jump up the
 hill. It disappears after just eight seconds. The first level of SUNSHINE
 ISLAND contains a bandage. You see it just above the saw to the left of
 Bandage Girl. Either you wall jump on the shattering blocks and steer over
 the saw or you get the key first and get up to the saw to do a very slight
 jump over it. The second level has no bandage, but can be a little tricky.

 To get up to the top portion, wall jump off the right (or left) pillar near
 the edge of the level. To avoid the shooting saws I recommend you to keep to</pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
 the right when you break the shattering blocks. When you have the key you
 should head back down to the pillar and wall jump off it to get back to
 Bandage Girl. The final level has a bandage just above the starting point.
 Wall jump off the shattering blocks (but DON'T break them all) and then
 continue up to the key. Head back down and wall jump up the right wall of
 the structure. Jump towards the shattering blocks of the left structure and
 carefully slide down the (right) wall to Bandage Girl.

WARP ZONE: MEAT IS DEATH
 This Warp Zone is reached from level 5-20X QUIETUS in the Dark World. You
 can easily see it in a closed off slot after the shooting saws. To open the
 slot you need to press the switch on the left side of the slot. You reach
 the switch by going up from the starting point and walking past the big
 area above the shooting saws. After pressing the switch you have 23 seconds
 before the vortex is shut in. When the timer hits 38 seconds, the vortex
 disappears. This is a lot of time and shouldn't be a problem. The actual
 Warp Zone is worse, unless you have a soft spot in your heart for fans. The
 first level contains a bandage. To get through the first fan, you need to
 slide down the pillar above the fan from the right altitude. Begin sliding
 from about two blocks below the arm holding the upper saw. You should
 easily spot the bandage. You see it just below one of the saws and you are
 required to perform a decent wall jump to get it. To get through the second
 fan, you should do an equally long slide as the first time. Begin from the
 upper saw and you should make it. Then get the key and Bandage Girl.

 The second level also has a bandage. You should see it just above you. Get
 the key below you first and then let the fan carry you to the bandage. It
 can be a little tricky. You need to steer sharply to the right when you are
 being lifted by the fan. I recommend jumping into the fan from the slot with
 the saws. The rest of the level is basically about doing the same thing. The
 last level is the trickiest and requires some practice. The fans should
 carry you over to the right side where you find a key. Then you should get
 back the same way and the rest is easy. You need to glide into the fans from
 the right altitude. I think you should slide down the platform where you
 start to the very button and then do a slight wall jump into the first fan.
 Let it carry you over the saw and into the next fan. After getting the key,
 it's the same strategy but back again.

                            4. Hidden Characters

==============================================================================

A great reward in Super Meat Boy is the many hidden playable characters. All
of them are from other indie games. I must be honest and say that I've played
very few indie games, but recently I've grown very fond of the idea. Five of
the characters are unlocked through warp zones, one in each of the major
chapters in the game. Nine are unlocked by collecting bandages and another one
is unlocked by finishing the game with 100%. To find out more about the indie
games from where the characters derive, I recommend the obvious: type in the
title at wikipedia.org. You can also get some information from gamefaqs.com.
Also, I share links to their respective websites. In this section I only write
about the XBox 360 characters.

===============
Commander Video
===============

The Commander is unlocked by finishing the Warp Zone COMMANDER!. This one is
reached from level 1-12. For further details about unlocking check out the
Warp Zone section above. Commander Video stars in the Bit.Trip series for
the Wii Ware. In Super Meat boy he has the ability to fly in horizontal line
by holding the jumping button. The down side is his speed.

====
Jill
====

Jill is unlocked by finishing the Warp Zone BOOTLICKER!. This one is reached
from level 2-8. For further details about unlocking check out the Warp Zone
section above. Jill is probably one of the handiest characters. Her ability
to float while tapping the jump button will get you many bandages. Jill comes
from the flash game Mighty Jill-Off and can be downloaded as a freeware from
the creator's website below.

====
Ogmo
====

Ogmo is unlocked by finishing the Warp Zone THE JUMP MAN!. This one is reached
from level 3-16. For further details about unlocking check out the Warp Zone
section above. Ogmo is another great character. He can do a double jump
which is very effective if timed correctly. Not quite as fast as Meat Boy
though. Ogmo is a platformer hero and you can download his games free of
charge from the website below.

=========
Flywrench
=========

Flywrench is unlocked by finishing the Warp Zone THE FLY GUY!. This one is
reached from level 4-18. For further details about unlocking check out the
Warp Zone section above. Flywrench might be the most unconventional character
in the game. Its major upside is the triple jump which will take Flywrench to
incredible heights. On the downside, it is very slow and takes time to get
used to. Learn about the game Flywrench from the website below. You can even
download it.

http://messhof.com/

=======
The Kid
=======

The Kid is unlocked by finishing the Warp Zone THE GUY!. This one is reached
from level 5-7. The Kid is useful because of his nimble double jump, but you
probably get him very, very late in the game. He comes from the game I Wanna
be the guy: The Movie: The Game, a 2D platformer known for it's extreme
difficulty. Check it out from the link below. I have never played it though.

====
Gish
====

Gish is unlocked by collecting 10 bandages. Although pretty slow, Gish has the
great advantage of sticking on to walls and ceiling. Just press the action
button to stick. Gish is from the game Gish which was created by Team Meat's
Edmund McMillen some years ago.

=============
Alien Hominid
=============

Alien Hominid is unlocked by collecting 30 bandages. He has a mighty blaster
shot which only can be fired downwards. There are no enemies he can kill, but
he can use the shots to jump farther. You can play the original prototype
at newgrounds.com. The game was later released for the GameCube and
Playstation2 and now recently on XBOX 360.

=============
8Bit Meat Boy
=============

Meat Boy in 8bit graphics is unlocked by collecting 40 bandages. No gameplay
difference from Meat Boy, he is the only playable character in most of the
Warp Zones.

===
Tim
===

Tim is unlocked by collecting 50 bandages and is one of the most useful
characters. What makes him really stand out is his reverse time potion.
Press the action button and Tim will retrace his last steps. Unlike in Braid,
the time and world does not reverse. The downside about Tim is that he has no
walking pace. It's full speed all the time. Braid is the smash hit indie game
which was released on the XBOX Live Arcade and PC in 2008.

=============
4Bit Meat Boy
=============

Meat Boy in 4bit graphics is unlocked by collecting 60 bandages. No gameplay
difference from Meat Boy. He is the character starring in a few of the Warp
Zones, those who replicate the really old games.

========
Spelunky
========

Spelunky is unlocked by collecting 70 bandages. He has a very odd power
namely Explosive Flight. When you hit the jump button while being air born,
poor Spelunky flies across the screen. Very useful again certain traps, but
hard to control. Spelunky comes from the PC game Spelunky, a randomly
generated action adventure. I haven't tried it out, but read more, and
perhaps download it, from the link below.

===============
4Color Meat Boy
===============

Meat Boy in black and white is unlocked by collecting 80 bandages. No gameplay
difference from Meat Boy. He is the character starring in a few of the Warp
Zones, those who replicate the really early Game Boy titles.

===========
Pink Knight
===========

Pink Knight is unlocked by collecting 90 bandages. He has a sort of double
jump, but not a very effective one. He merely floats awhile in the air. Other
than that he is very slow and I don't really see the point. The pink knight is
one of the Knights from the XBox Live Arcade and PSN Networks game Castle
Crashers developed by the Indie studio The Behemoth. Make sure to download the
trial at least.

The Ninja
=========

The Ninja is unlocked by collecting 100 bandages. He is controlled pretty
much like Meat Boy, but feels a lot different. He actually handles pretty much
like from his own game: N+. The Ninja is faster than Meat Boy on the ground,
but a lot slower in the air. N+ is a game for Xbox Live Arcade, DS and PSP.
The prototype n is available for free for PC, Max and Linux from the link
below. Check out N+ if you like Super Meat Boy. They are similar in many ways.

==========
Meat Ninja
==========

Meat Ninja is unlocked by finishing 100% of the game. He showed up for me
when I got the 100% achievement even though I had a few levels left. Even
though teleportation should be one of his special skills, I cannot make him
teleport in any way. I don't know if my file is glitched. Other than that,
he behaves like Meat Boy. You cannot get Leaderboards time with him though.

                                   6. FAQ

==============================================================================

In this section I write some questions I think some people might wonder about.
If I get other frequently asked questions by mail, I will publish them here.

Q: How do I reach the Dark World?
A: Get A+ times and then press the X button.

Q: What is Teh Internets and how do I get it?
A: It is an XBLA exclusive feature you get by collecting only 20 bandages.
  Teh Internets is the chapter farthest to the left and by selecting it,
  the game connects to the Internet and you get to play uploaded levels. As I
  write this, there are only two chapters available, but Team Meat promises
  more. Only Team Meat can upload levels, but there will be user created
  levels hand picked by Team Meat (there's a level editor in the PC version).

Q: Who is Brownie and is he playable?
A: Who he is is difficult to say. For that, you need to confront the creators.
  He is unlockable by code. Check out the secrets section.

Q: Tofu Boy?
A: PETA made a parody of the game where Meat Boy is made of Tofu. Team Meat
  got happy and implemented the character through a code. Only in the Steam
  version sadly.

Q: How do I reach the glitched levels.
A: In all of the major six chapters, there is a glitched up level which
  appears next to the first Light World level once you've uncovered it.
  When you've beaten the boss once, you are to reenter the levels and once
  in awhile Bandage Girl is glitched up and makes funny noises. Get to her
  and you get to play the glitched levels. They're just for fun though.

Q: Why is my percentage messed up?
A: This is a known glitch and it will probably be fixed with the next patch.
  I don't know if it fixes already glitched save files, though.

Q: How do I get 100%?
A: You need to finish all levels in the Light and Dark Worlds, including
  The Cotton Alley and Warp Zones, excluding Teh Internets levels and the
  glitched levels. You don't need to A+ the Dark World levels though. I
  got the 100% achievement when I had a few levels left to complete. That
  seems to be very common.

Q: How do I finish level X-X?
A: If you need help finishing a level check out the other fine walkthroughs at
  GameFAQs.com or search for the level at Youtube.com.

Q: Will there be a sequel?
A: According to Team Meat (http://supermeatboy.com/52/No_SMB_2_/#b), there
  will not be a Super Meat Boy 2. Instead there will be several new chapters
  on Teh Internets for XBLA. This also goes for the Steam version, though
  there is no Teh Internets. That version has a level editor instead and the
  ability to shear levels between users.

Q: Will there be a PS3/Wii version of the game?
A: According to Team Meat (http://supermeatboy.com/57/Super_Update_/#b), there
  will never be a PS3 version. The contracts they signed with Nintendo and
  Microsoft prevent them from ever making a PS3 version. The Wiiware version
  has been cancelled because Team Meat couldn't compress an acceptable
  version of the game to under 50MB, which is the size limit for Wiiware
  games. And Nintendo refused to budge on the limit. Team Meat is interested
  in releasing a boxed version for Wii, but so far no publishers have shown
  interest.

Q: Why don't you write a full walkthrough for the game?
A: Several reasons. The major one is clinging on to my knees right now (a one
  year old son). When I began writing this, there were no FAQs for the game
  at GameFAQs. So I decided to just write a short general FAQ to cover the
  basic need. Since I began, at least two walkthroughs have been published so
  I see no reason why. Besides, I find it both difficult and tedious to write
  a walkthrough for these kind of games. Especially since Youtube clips do a
  much better job explaining it than I could ever do.
