============| I. INTRODUCTION |===========
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯| |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
O~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~O
Welcome to my walkthrough for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 (known as Kaizoku
Musou 2 in Japan). The game improves on the original game a lot, although it
retains the basic gameplay of the first, except for the plethora of quick-time
events. Not only are there more characters to play as, but the game also offers
an original story that you won't get to see anywhere else.

============| II. GAME BASICS |===========
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯| |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
O~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~O
At its core, Pirate Warriors 2 is a standard hack-n-slash title, similar to the
Dynasty Warriors series. Not only do you have the standard Square attacks, but
pressing Triangle at the right moments will pull off charge attacks, similar to
Dynasty Warriors. The game also retains the same territory-style maps from the
first game, although some of them will grant bonuses this time around.
.--------------.
======| Game Modes |
'--------------'
The main game mode in Pirate Warriors 2 is called Pirates' Log, which if chosen
at first will bring you straight into the Dream Story section. This is the
original story mode for the game, where you will be tasked with completing the
various battles throughout. As you complete these stages, you will eventually
start to unlock Crew Episodes.
Crew Episodes are the second option when you choose Pirates' Log on the main
menu. They are meant as smaller-scaled battles where you must defeat the
character chosen, who will be able to be chosen as your Partner during battles.
More will be unlocked as you complete battles in Dream Story, as well as other
Crew Episodes.
Besides those, there's an online mode, as well as a Free Log mode, allowing you
choose any stage you want without worrying about the story. There's also a
Challenge mode, where there are two difficult stages to complete. Gallery allows
you to view information on characters you've encountered, as well as view any
movies you've bought from the Beli Shop.
.----------------.
======| Style Action |
'----------------'
Style Action is a new mechanic in the game, allowing characters (and also
enemies) to power up when the gauge is full. This power up grants extra
strength, as well as an extension to some of their moves. Also, if enough
enemies are defeated while in Style Action, the player can call in their
Partner, who will be able to attack for a short time.
.--------------------.
======| Coins & Partners |
'--------------------'
Before every battle, players will be able to equip various things for their
character. This ranges from Skills, Coins and Partners, all of which will make
your character stronger. Partners are basically support characters that can be
summoned to battle if the player kills enough enemies (or a named character)
during the Style Action. Enemies killed with musou attacks, during Style Action
or by the Partner themselves will give experience for that Partner, who can
level up and learn skills.
Coins return from the first game and pretty much function the same way. There
are still Coins gotten randomly, but they can also be dropped from the unique
officers, as well as from special chests. In addition to those methods, Coins
can also be collected by fulfilling certain conditions during stages, such as
getting an S rank.
Another thing new to the game are Skill Notes, which are acquired by completing
specific stages in Dream Story or certain Crew Episodes. Think of these as
similar to bingo cards, where coins you have collected are inserted into the
notes. Once you get three in a row, either horizontally, vertically or
diagonally, you will earn a

============| III. DREAM STORY |===========
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯| |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
O~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~O
Dream Story is the main story mode for Pirate Warriors 2, and it features an
all-original story that you won't see anywhere else. You start off with Luffy
being the only playable character, but will unlock more as you complete more
stages, which also is the same for Crew Episodes.
------------------------------------NOTE--------------------------------------.
| |
| Each Dream Story stage has three Secret Coin requirements that will make |
| a blue chest appear at a fixed location within that stage. You must go to |
| that location, open the chest by attacking it, then collect the coin like |
| any other. The first and third Secret Coins all have the same requirement, |
| which are to get 1,000 KOs and get an S ranking. The S rank requirements are |
| a little different for each stage, as well as the requirements for the |
| second Secret Coin. |

'------------------------------------------------------------------------------'
You'll end up in Skypiea once the initial cutscene is over. Start out by
familiarizing yourself with the controls and taking out the soldiers nearby your
starting position. Once a few events pass, you'll see that Nami is in control to
the west, so head on over there. Take out the two Captains there to rescue her.
Your next goal is to head after Eneru, but the gate leading to him closes, so
you'll need to find another way there. Luckily, the central area opens and you
are told to cause havoc here to lure the enemies to your position so Nami can
open up the gate leading to Eneru. Do that by defeating the soldiers to lure out
the Leader, whose defeat will snag you the territory there.
Keep defeating enemies in that region until the gate is unlocked, then you can
head to the northmost position via that gate. Along the way, snag the secret
chest and defeat the Gate Guard in the way to finally gain access to Eneru. He
isn't too difficult, but he is a Logia-type, so once you get his health down
enough, he will be difficult to attack normally.
Straight from the beginning, he will fire a lightning bolt right at you, so
dodge to the side and close in quickly to stun him while he is vulnerable. Keep
moving and bait him to attack to leave him in a state where you can stun him,
until he eventually goes into the Logia form. At this point, your style meter
should be full, so use that and keep attacking him. Use one of the nearby chests
to get your meter full again and keep attacking to finally defeat Eneru.
.-------------------------------------------------.
======| Prologue 2 - The Straw Hat Pirates Split Up?! |
'-------------------------------------------------'
Begin the battle by capturing the territory closest to your starting position.
One of the overall goals in this battle is to not let any of your friends get
defeated, so if at any time you see them struggling, go and rescue them. Not
long into the battle after the objective to reach the objective point, two
messengers will appear to go for reinforcements.
Head after them and a barrage from a Marine ship will also start. Take out the
messengers and then head to the territory to defeat the commander to stop the
barrage (might as well take the territory, too). Zoro will get separated from
your group and appear at the southern end of the map, so head there to rescue
him.
It is likely that some of your crew has reached the point to temporarily
withdraw. After rescuing Zoro, Smoker will start going towards the Straw Hats
and block off their escape, so you will need to go to him and take him out.
Smoker is another Logia-type and he has an extra "power" in the fight. You'll
notice he glows blue once you start attacking him, meaning you'll have to dash
into him with X to stun him once he does.
This will open him up to combos, so anytime you see Smoker do this, do the above
to get attacks in. Eventually, he'll use his Logia ability to make it so normal
attacks aren't too effective, so do like the last battle and activate your own
style. If you're good enough, you might be able to down Smoker using your Haki
move once, but keep it up until he goes down for good.
After the shocking cutscene, just fight the enemies in front of you until Smoker
decides to help you out. Your turned allies will eventually show up, but it's
best to avoid them as they are definitely aggressive and very challenging. Just
work your way to the bottom right corner of the map to escape and finish the
battle.
.--------------------------------------.
======| 1-1 - The Pirate Alliance Invasion |
'--------------------------------------'
Your overall goal at the beginning is to defeat Wapol and Don Krieg, with the
initial goal to take the territories on the east and west sides. Start with the
western one first, but not long into the battle, one of the Marine Commanders
will ignore orders and head into the center of the map. Some pirate captains
appear and advance towards them, so it's up to you to defeat them to rescue
them.
Once you rescue them, go and take the other territory to complete that mission.
This makes Wapol mad and some more Pirate Captains appear, who make their way to
the territories you just took. At the same time, Don Krieg will fire off a
Poison Gas Bomb at the West Ship's Bow. For now, you need to take out the pirate
captains, since Don Krieg will fire more bombs on those two territories.
Defeating the captains will help your allies escape the bombs. After some time,
a Sapper will appear and start heading to the eastern territory. Wapol notices
him and chases after him, so cut him off and take him down. Wapol is annoying
because he will "burrow" into the ground and try to come up from beneath you,
but it's easily avoidable due to all the smoke before the move is executed.
When the Sapper reaches his point, he will attack Don Krieg and make him stop
his poison barrage. Around this time, Franky will appear to attack you, and
Wapol will reappear, with him going towards your base. When you defeat Franky,
he comes to his senses and joins back up with your crew. All that's left is to
take out Don Krieg to finish the battle.
Except, the battle isn't quite over yet, as a bunch of enemies will appear
across the map. Just fight the ones near your position until Kuzan decides to
show up and clear them all. You'll appear the center and have to fight with
Kuzan, who is a Logia-type Devil Fruit user. He can be dangerous, as his attacks
can freeze you, so wiggle the analog stick if that happens. Once he's finished,
the battle is over.
.-----------------------------.
======| 1-2 - The Fist of Justice |
'-----------------------------'
Your first goal once the battle begins is to take over the two territories in
the southwest corner and the one in the middle on the western side of the map.
Once both have been captured, Jinbei will appear and bust through the gates in
the northern base close to the two you captured. This will expose Sentomaru, as
well as some other Marine fodder.
Jinbei mentions that Kizaru is on his way, so he suggests that you take out as
many Marine Commanders as possible, where he will help by drawing them to the
center. You also get a prompt to take out Garp before Kizaru arrives, but note
that this will end the battle, so only do that if you want to be quick.
Kill enough and the gates to Garp's area will open, but around the same time is
when Kizaru will appear, with a Pacifista joining him. Take out the Pacifista
first, then go after Kizaru, knowing he's a Logia-type user and can certainly be
challenging to fight. When he's gone, go and finish off Garp to end the battle.
.--------------------------------.
======| 1-3 - The Lord of Nightmares |
'--------------------------------'
At the beginning, head to the central fort with Nami, noting there's nothing on
the map as far as enemies are concerned. When you get inside, the gates will
close and Perona, along with some enemies, will appear outside of the gate.
Zombie Commanders will appear inside, so take them out and then the Leader to
finally open the gates.
When you're free, go after Perona, who will come back again when defeated. What
is happening is that this is not the true Perona, as her real body is hidden
somewhere in the cloudy section of your map. There are two "hidden" walls that
will glow black when you get close, so hit them to destroy them and make your
way to the center to find the real Perona.
Defeating the real Perona will make both Chopper and Brook appear, but they are
enemies for now. Brook appears near your position, so take him out and then head
for your base, which is where Chopper will likely be when you get to the other
side. Note that around this time is when Buggy appears in the northeast corner
of the map.
Buggy has also brought along Mr. 3, who is somewhere on the map, but your main
goal right now should be to get Buggy, since he will begin attacking your allied
base with a Buggy Ball barrage. Make your way to him and defeat him, which
should make Moria appear in the northwest. Perona will appear again, this time
going to harass one of your crew members, and Buggy will also appear on the
western side. If you want, take them both out and then finish off Moria to end
the battle.
.-------------------------------.
======| 1-4 - The Strongest Pirates |
'-------------------------------'
The game issues your first directive as supporting Smoker, with the first order
to make your way to the northeastern territory. When you get there, Whitebeard
will retreat and Marco will take his place as commander. Marco can be dangerous,
as he moves quickly and is yet another Logia-type. Defeat him by not being too
aggressive and then the next part of the battle will begin.
Marco will retreat to the southeast, while Ace will block off the path with
fire. You will need to defeat him in the northern territory to remove these fire
barriers. As you're doing this, it's likely that Jozu and Vista will appear,
with the former going towards your base and the latter going after Smoker.
Beat them up a little and they will retreat, with Jozu, Vista and Ace appearing
again once the previous two are gone. This time, they are scattered across the
map, so you will need to do some footwork to get them all. It's also a good idea
to capture the territories, since they will keep spawning reinforcements, which
isn't going to help your allies.
When everything has died down, head to the southeast corner to make Marco open
the gates there. Once again, take your time with Marco, as his speed can be
dangerous. Defeat him once and he will revive himself with full health, so
you'll need to take him out once more to end the battle.
.---------------------------.
======| 2-1 - To Where It Began |
'---------------------------'
There are no enemies around you at the beginning of the battle and your first
objective is to reach the Laboratory Entrance, which is the red territory on
your map. Not long after arriving at that spot, CP9 will show up, with one
heading towards one of your allies and Blueno coming to the lab entrance area.
Make sure you stay at the entrance territory and clear it of the enemies before
leaving.
Once the lab entrance is clear, go around and defeat the remaining members of
CP9. You'll notice that reinforcements will appear from the various enemy
territories, and they'll continue even if you capture them. Leave them be and
concentrate on any that go towards the lab entrance. You'll also notice two
white territories on the map, but they are locked for now.
Eventually, the white territories will become unlocked, which should be your cue
to hurry to the one that your ally will not go to. Remain inside the territory
and notice the bar filling up, meaning once it's full, the territory will be
yours. When they're both yours, continue defending the lab entrance until Akainu
appears.
It is now your duty to escort all of your allies to the fort in the southeast,
but things won't go easy. Akainu will be dropping meteors on you throughout, and
all members of the CP9 will eventually reappear to hinder your retreat. All you
have to do is get your allies to the southeastern fort and do so yourself to
finish the battle.
.------------------------------------.
======| 2-2 - The Revival of Arlong Park |
'------------------------------------'
There are now two main enemies for this battle, who are Crocodile and Arlong. At
the beginning, you have two options open for you (although you should do both).
Both Nami and Jinbe want to speak with certain people in the battle, with Nami
going after Hachi and Jinbe wanting to talk with Arlong. Initially, you need to
capture the territory nearby to make either move forward.
Jimbei meeting with Arlong will make him temporarily retreat from the battle,
while Nami meeting with Hachi will make him retreat for the rest of the battle.
Whenever Arlong retreats from the battle, Perona will appear and start preparing
to make some ghost replicas of her. Since you know her original position, if the
ghosts do appear, you should only go after her real body to stop her.
After defeating her once, she'll appear again and do the same thing as before,
so just defeat her yet again to make her temporarily withdraw. If everything
went your way, the only thing left should be Crocodile in the upper left. Arlong
will appear there and open the gates, allowing you to finally go after him,
although Arlong withdraws not too long.
While battling Crocodile (watch out for his ranged attacks), Perona will appear
once more for the final time in the stage. That leaves you with two annoying
enemies, and to add to that, Arlong will appear somewhere else and head for your
allied base. It's best to quickly try and take out Perona first, then Crocodile,
and finally head to Arlong to finish the battle.
.----------------------------------------------.
======| 2-3 - Infiltration! The Stronghold of Hell |
'----------------------------------------------'
Your objective in this battle is to get to the bottom left corner to escape.
This stage is split into two different areas that are connected by two sets of
elevators, one in the middle (which is blocked for now) and the other is in the
upper left corner, guarded by Hannybal. Getting there will be your first goal,
with two territories to capture along the way.
Defeat Hannybal and take the lift down, only to have it closed behind you after
using it. This will trap you in the southern section and Magellan, surprisingly,
appears in the north and heads to you main base. He also begins another poison
attack on the prisoners, which is indicated by a timer on the screen. Keep
fighting to the west, defeating Minotaurus in the southcentral area to restore
the lifts back to normal.
With the lifts operational again, take the middle one back up north and take out
Magellan to remove that threat for now. Immediately, Minotaurus will return, as
well as Magellan in the southwest corner and Hannybal in the northwest corner.
You now only have 10 minutes to finish the battle, which ends as soon as you
defeat Magellan.
.---------------------------------------.
======| 2-4 - The Great Crash of Marineford |
'---------------------------------------'
It is a three way battle, with you going against the Marines and the Pirate
Alliance. At the beginning of the battle, go straight and capture the first red
territory, then head northwest and help out Whitebeard. It's likely at this time
that Moria appeared and had begun to head towards Whitebeard, so he's going to
need the help.
Defeat Moria and capture the territory, wait a little bit and some more chaos
will happen. Kizaru will begin moving towards your main base and Blackbeard will
also show up, which prompts Ace to confront him and ask for help. Quickly take
out Kizaru (if you can, as he tends to move around a lot and is another Logia-
type Devil Fruit user), then go help out Ace.
Take down Blackbeard and the gates to Buggy should open up now. However, it's
likely that a commander will start heading towards your base and while taking
him out, Mihawk and Garp will show up. You also might have Kuma on the map
somewhere, so you need to take out all of them eventually, then go after Buggy
first. After doing that, leave Akainu for last, since he is definitely the
toughest of the group.
.--------------------------------------.
======| 3-1 - The Assassin from Blackbeard |
'--------------------------------------'
At the beginning of the battle, your first goal should be to rescue both Perona
and Chopper. Begin by heading north and taking out the first Gate Guard in the
way (capture the territory as well), then head along the northern path and take
out the next Gate Guard. This will bring you to the area where Perona is, so
capture the base to rescue her and do the same with Chopper in the south.
As soon as you do, Eneru will show up in the center of the map, along with Lucci
and Blueno to the southeast. Take out the two CP9 members, then damage Eneru
enough to the point he'll retreat. Some soldiers will now show up in the central
areas, followed by Lucci and Blueno again on the eastern side. Defeat them both
and wait for Eneru to appear again, if he hasn't already.
Not long after he escapes the second time will he appear for a third time. Yes,
he will retreat again, but a bunch of Sky Island Captains will spawn, with
Blueno and Lucci appearing in the west. Before things get too far, Kuma will
show up on your side and fight Lucci and Blueno. Since it's a two-on-one
situation, head over there and defeat both of the CP9 guys to rescue Kuma, who
will disappear shortly after. For the last time, Eneru will show up along with
Kuma, so defeat Eneru to end the battle.
.------------------------------------.
======| 3-2 - An Onslaught of Swordsmen! |
'------------------------------------'
Brook and Jozu are isolated in the middle of the map and your first task is to
defeat both Hachi and Vista. Note that the regular enemies with cannons are
especially annoying in this stage, as they can knock you back, so take them out
if you see them. Since Hachi is closer, head in his direction first. Other than
one attack that can slightly impair your vision a bit, treat him like any other
character you fight.
Now, head for your way to Vista and defeat him next, who is a little more
annoying since he likes to move around a lot more than Hachi. Once this has been
done, Mihawk and Kaku will appear in the area just north of where you took out
Vista, so go there and take both out. Note that defeating Vista also opens up
the area where Brook and Jozu are, so make sure neither of the above head there.
Things can get a little hectic from here on out, as Vista and Kaku will
continually respawn, and Mihawk will show up on the western side of the map.
Zoro will also eventually show up in the north and start heading towards your
base, but he's retreat once defeated. When Mihawk shows up on the east side of
the map (yellow), defeating him will make him join your side and the area at the
top will unlock, allowing you to finish off Zoro to end the battle.
.--------------------------------------.
======| 3-3 - A Rival from a Desert Island |
'--------------------------------------'
At the beginning of the battle, Robin is using duplicates of herself to mess
with Crocodile's minions, so you need to head to the closest three spots and
take out the duplicates. This will free them to support Crocodile, who is in the
top right corner being harassed by both Kaku and Jabra, so make sure you go
there after helping his minions.
With Crocodile now free from attack, go and find Blueno, defeating him. Now, go
around and clear any other areas if you can until both Mr. 2 and Mr. 3 appear.
This means you should go to both their locations and take them out, which should
now make Crocodile and his army enemies. Defeat Crocodile to make him an ally
again.
After this, the CP9 members will appear, but disappear thanks to Blueno's
ability when you get close enough. When you see Blueno appear in the bottom
right corner, do not engage until you Crocodile gets to him and activates an
ability, which will allow you to finish him off. If any other members are on the
map, it might be wise to get rid of them as well. All that's left is to go
defeat Robin to finish the stage.
.------------------------------------.
======| 3-4 - Break Free From the Spell! |
'------------------------------------'
At the beginning of the battle, just go around and kill the zombies hanging
around the front of the castle, making sure to help Ivankov and Crocodile to
capture their respective territories (South Cemetery and Central Forest). Not
long after the battle begins, some Zombie Commanders will appear near the gates,
and it's up to you to take them out.
With everything under your control, you should see an event pop up asking you to
meet up with Perona about some information. When you approach her, she mentions
a switch to open up the castle gates, which will open the gate in the southwest
corner. Escort Perona there and she will open up the gate to allow you to fight
Usopp. Defeat him to open the rest of the gates.
Inside of the castle, start by capturing the two territories there, which will
trigger the appearance of Zoro and Sanji in the bottom left corner. Now, Usopp
and Robin will be trying to escape, so you can quickly defeat them both to end
the battle, although you may want to take out Zoro and Sanji for the fun of it.
Note the Moria up north is a fake, and upon its defeat, the real one will
escape.
.--------------------------------.
======| 3-5 - The Open Gates of Hell |
'--------------------------------'
At the beginning of the battle, go up the right path and defeat Minotaurus and
before long, you'll be asked to take Ace and Marco to Vista. Make sure you
capture the territories closest to you before going after Vista, who can be just
as annoying to fight as before. Once you whittle his health down all the way, he
will join your team.
For now, you can't do anything, but in a few seconds, Hannybal will open the
gates to allow his advance. Of course, this also allows you to advance on him.
In addition to this, Buggy will start running away and eventually make some
prisoners go over to his side, essentially making a second faction to fight.
Magellan will start a poison attack, but Mr. 3 gets in his way, so Magellan
sends a Marine Commander at him.
Your first goal here is to quickly defeat Hannybal, then go after Buggy, who
should be closer than Mr. 3. Defeat Buggy (you can do it before he even recruits
the prisoners) and he will join your alliance. Hurry over to where Mr. 3 is
located and rescue him from any attackers. Once you do all of this, the gates to
Magellan will open, allowing you to finish him off to end the battle.
.------------------------------.
======| 3-6 - Bring Back the Crew! |
'------------------------------'
The first thing you need to do at the beginning of the battle is to go directly
south and capture the territory there, noting that Zoro and Sanji will likely
show up while doing so. While likely battling them, Wapol and Arlong will appear
to the sides of your allied base, with Don Krieg appearing in the north, in the
blocked off area (Zoro and Sanji will also appear there).
After taking out both Wapol and Arlong, Don Krieg will launch the MH5 attack on
you and open up the gates, going south. This allows you to quickly dispose of
him before the MH5 deals any damage. With Don Krieg gone, go around and capture
the rest of the territories, while making your way towards Teach at the bottom
of the map.
As soon as you approach Teach, Zoro and Sanji open their gates and head towards
Whitebeard, but they are stopped by Robin and Mihawk. Ignore them for now and
concentrate on taking out Blackbeard, who will run away after being defeated.
This leaves you to defeat both Zoro and Sanji to finish the battle, but note
that Arlong, Don Krieg and Wapol will also return.
.-----------------------------.
======| 4-1 - Rescue the Marines! |
'-----------------------------'
This battle can get annoying, since you'll be fighting a lot of Pacifistas, one
of which is straight ahead of you at the beginning. You need to escort
Whitebeard to where Kizaru and of course, there will be some Pacifistas in the
way. Make sure you take out ALL enemies in the way, since Whitebeard will get
caught on even the simplest of them.
Your next goal is to go and rescue Garp in the West Cave territory (if you
didn't already), as well as clean up the rest of the map, with the only thing
left being Sentomaru and the bottom left territory. Eventually, Eneru will show
up, along with a bunch of Lapahn. Go around and take out these Lapahn, noting
that Eneru blocks off some areas with lightning barriers.
By this time, the gate to Sentomaru has opened, so go over there and defeat him
to make him come to his senses and join your side. Wherever Eneru was, he will
retreat and then show up in the bottom left corner, where he will stay locked
up. He reactivates all of the Pacifistas from earlier in the battle, and you
will need to keep defeating them until Eneru weakens and the gate opens,
allowing you to finish him off to end the battle.
.---------------------------------------.
======| 4-2 - Breakdown! Marines VS Pirates |
'---------------------------------------'
Welp, that alliance between the pirates and Marines was short-lived. At the
beginning of the battle, start fighting your way towards Ace, who is isolated in
the middle of the battlefield. You'll have to capture one of the territories to
either side, which will open up the middle portion, allowing you to defeat the
Gate Guard that opens the gate to Ace. Defeat all of the people (the important
ones) there, including a Pacifista, to rescue Ace.
After saving Ace, go around and clean up what you can, including the territory
on the east side of the map, which secures the escape route. Go ahead and help
Whitebeard out some, defeating Akainu, who will stay on your map even after
taking him out. Eventually, Teach will show up and put Whitebeard under a spell,
turning him against you. Go ahead and defeat him that will eventually lead to
some cutscenes. When all is said and done, Whitebeard will be gone and
Blackbeard obtains his powers.
Your goal now is to go and defeat Blackbeard, who is in the South Fort. You also
need to defeat his company, who are highlighted by the doll-shaped markers on
your map. Akainu will reappear and Garp will head towards his position to talk
about what happened, but before he gets there, Eneru will appear as an obstacle.
Defeat Eneru and Garp will convince the Marines to join as your allies.
Knocking Blackbeard's health down enough will make him retreat and he'll leave
everything up to Moria. Eventually, Moria will reappear and go into hiding in
one of the southern territories, so you will need to capture them in order to
make him appear. When you do find him, he will appear in the southeast corner of
the map, where his defeat there will end the battle.
.------------------------.
======| 4-3 - The Dark World |
'------------------------'
Your first objective in the battle is to take out two of the Zombie Commanders,
who will likely advance on your position. So, go to the territory just north of
you and capture it while also waiting for the Zombie Commanders. While doing
that, Akainu and Kizaru will head towards two territories to try and stop Arlong
and Don Krieg.
They get ambushed and end up fleeing, with more Zombie Commanders appearing in
the center of the map. Akainu and Kizaru try a sneak attack on Teach, but end up
failing and getting defeated. Defeat the Zombie Commanders and then Moria will
have Arlong and Don Krieg start firing cannons, while Moria will likely be
hiding in the central territory.
It might be wise to defeat one of the two barrages first (Arlong is probably
closer), then head to the middle territory to find a trap. Zombie Commanders
will be summoned and Eneru will also start his Kingdom Come attack, meaning you
only have a few minutes to capture the territory and defeat the doppelganger of
Moria that appears after that.
When you're free, it's best to get rid of both Arlong and Don Krieg if you
haven't already. This will put a stop to the barrages, although it will trigger
another event where Moria will be hiding in one of two territories. Just like
with the first time, going into either one will trigger Eneru's Kingdom Come
attack to count down (Moria's in the northwest one).
Defeating Moria here will tick him off so he will reappear closer to the
northeastern base, along with some of his doppelgangers. This time, Moria is the
northern of the two on the map and upon defeat, Eneru will show up close to the
main enemy territory. Defeat him and some more events will transpire, where
Blackbeard will take control of both Eneru and Moria. Take them both out and the
gates will open to the main camp, allowing to defeat Blackbeard to end the
battle.

===========================| FINAL CHAPTER (A106) |===========================
'========================'
In order to unlock these last two stages, you need to have beaten 4-3 and
unlocked the normal ending. Once you do, clear the following Crew Episodes to
unlock Whitebeard's episode for play. Complete his and you will be unlock an
extra event in 4-2. Go to that stage and instead of defeating Whitebeard, you
will have to have Ace, Luffy and Marco meet up with him to save him. Complete
the stage as normal to unlock this chapter.

======| Final 1 - Shattered Justice |
'-------------------------------'
Your first goal in this fight is for you to get your allies to the two
highlighted territories on the map. However, as they reach their destination or
get close enough, Sky Island Captains will appear close to your main base. Take
care of them and when your allies reach their areas, the gates will close and
they will be trapped.
This causes a chain of events, where you will need to capture the three
territories to rescue your crew. However, Kizaru will appear on the west side of
the map, while Eneru will appear on the east. Pick a path and defeat whoever is
in the way, then go to each territory to rescue your allies. Once you do, you
will have to defeat both Kizaru and Eneru if you haven't already.
Now, they will both reappear, but Kizaru will withdraw and reappear with some
duplicates of himself. If you go after one of those, they will simply vanish and
you will need to go after the real one. Don't bother with Kizaru for, though,
and finish off Eneru first at the top of the map. Once he's gone, go after the
real Kizaru, noting he will withdraw and come back a few times, although his
health is what it was beforehand. When you defeat him this time, it will be for
good.
.-----------------------------------------------.
======| Final 2 - The Decisive Battle with Darkness |
'-----------------------------------------------'
The battle begins with you surrounded by Pacifista, so go ahead and fight them
for a while, noting that you can't truly defeat them yet. This is pointed out to
you and Whitebeard comes up with a plan to lure the rear guard (the three
furthest ones) into close proximity to the main base. All you have to do is get
close to them and they will move on their own towards your base.
Once this plan has succeeded, exit the base area with your allies to trap the
Pacifistas inside. This will entice Sentomaru to open up his gates, so go inside
and defeat him to make him join your side (along with all of the Pacifistas) and
withdraw. Start making your way towards the southwest corner, only to get
ambushed along the way.
You should be surrounded by a bunch of zombie soldiers, as well as Zombie
Commanders, who also appear just south of the central territory. You now need to
defeat all of the Zombie Commanders to help Whitebeard's retreat. Also, Kizaru
and Kuzan are set to arrive as reinforcements, but you need to capture the
northwestern and southeastern territories for them to actually arrive.
Doing the above will make Kizaru and Kuzan appear, which triggers Moria and
Akainu to advance towards them. Defeat them both to make them withdraw for now.
They will reappear right outside of the enemy main base, so defeat them once
again to put them out of commission for good. This will open up the gate leading
to Blackbeard, whose defeat will end the battle.

============| IV. UPDATES |===========

O~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~O
Feb 11, 2014....Finished the Dream Story and uploaded to GameFAQs
Q) When was Pirate Warriors 2 released?
A) In Japan, it was released on March 20, 2013 and then released in Europe on
August 30, 2013. In North America, where it was a digital-only release, it
came out on September 3, 2013.
Q) Who do you think is the strongest character?
A) While the strongest character is subjective, I believe that certain ones
have moves that set them apart from others. For example, Kuzan's Ice Age
(SSSST) has a huge AoE range and can freeze officers outside of them using
Style Action. Another example is that Kuma's SSST is a fantastic
crowd-clearing move.
Q) How do you level up past 50 for any character?
A) First, you need to have beaten the game with the True Ending (see the
walkthrough for that). Once you do, you unlock the Very Hard difficulty.
You need to complete 5 stages on Very Hard to unlock an item in the shop that
allows you to level one character past 50 (to the max of 100). For all
characters to break the level 50 barrier, you will have to clear all stages,
both Dream Story and Crew Episodes, on Very Hard.
