Hi and welcome to my guide for Gravity Rush. This guide tells you how to beat
every episode easily as well show you secrets in the game and how to get all
the trophies, enjoy. [THIS GUIDE DOES NOT COVER ANY OF THE DLC PORTION OF THE
GAME]

So here are Kats powers in the game which are divided into sections;

CORE POWERS

HEALTH: How much damage you can take before game over
RECOVERY TIME: How fast your gauge recovers
SHIFTING SPEED: How fast you move while shifting as well as speed falling
GAUGE USAGE: How fast your gauge drains while shifting
You should upgrade GAUGE USAGE and RECOVERY TIME first because you use them a
lot in the game, HEALTH should be upgraded too but not that much

COMBAT POWERS
=============
KICK: How many kicks you can do in your combo
GRAVITY KICK: You launch yourself like a missile at an opponent
EVADE: How often you can evade while swiping the screen
SLIDING KICK: How much damage you do while sliding
Upgrade GRAVITY KICK and EVADE because you use this during most of the game,
GRAVITY KICK is good because its strong and locks on while evade is useful
against bosses and enemies that shoot at you a lot.

STASIS FIELD: How many objects you can pickup
GRAVITY SLIDE: How fast you move while sliding
Nothing really here needs to be upgraded unless you are doing challenges.

SPIRALING CLAW: The smaller version of your finisher when you use on bosses
GRAVITY TYPHOON: Launch rocks that track enemies
MICRO BLACK HOLE: Make a black hole that moves around hurting people
When you get GRAVITY TYPHOON, always upgrade that first as this is the best
power in the game, you should SPIEALING CLAW when fighting bosses 1v1 since
it’s really effective, do not touch MICRO BLACK HOLE as it is the worst
ability.

Episode 0: The Beginning [EP00]
==============================================================================
Just to let you know that this whole game is in JAPANESE with ENGLISH SUBTILES,
so if though the game was speaking a weird language its not.
So at the beginning there is some talking then we get to a TREE, tap the APPLE
till it falls off then watch CUTSCENES.
After all that you wakeup and don’t know who or where you are but have a CAT
with you, so start moving around and go up the stairs to the right, while
doing so you’ll get [LOST KAT trophy], keep going up till CUTSCENE. After the
scene follow the man till another CUTSCENE.
After you watched it this part serves as the tutorial level on how to use KATS
powers, just follow the tutorial till you finish in which you get [LEARNER
PERMIT trophy] then watch the CUTSCENES.

Episode 1: From Oblivion [EP01]
==============================================================================
After that you name the your furry little friend DUSTY and see a CROW, follow
DUSTY and try and catch the CROW, this part also serves as another tutorial,
keep going till you finish and CU. [FROM OBLIVION trophy]

Episode 2: Shadows Over a City [EP02]
==============================================================================
This part serves as the combat tutorial in the game, follow and complete to
get to the next part, after all that an officer will come to you and needs
help, select your MAP and tap on the RED ICON then go to it.
Here you have to collect 10 crystals to power the fountain, after you
collected all the crystals, head to the FOUNTAIN and turn it on, after that
press SELECT then tap on the CRYSTAL ICON to upgrade [GAUGE USAGE]. After
all that you can try the challenge mission. [SHADOWS OVER A CITY trophy]

Episode 3: Home Sweet Home [EP03]
==============================================================================
After falling into the manhole and into a nice sweet spot you need some
decorations and furniture to make your home a home. Head to the first marker
and help an old woman with 2 NEVI, after that grab the CHAIR and return home,
after that select your MAP and look for (...) and head to the next part,
pickup the table then get last part, a bed, but before you can pickup the bed
you must fight some NEVI first before carrying it back home. [HOME SWEET
HOME trophy]

Episode 4: The Hekseville Phantom [EP04]
==============================================================================
After talking with SYD jump off to the right for CRYSTALS and shift to the
wall, go around and hit another wall then go up and onto the church.
After the distraction, jump down to the right and jump off again, then keep
shifting till KAT says ‘I Think I can get up form here’ get up and switch the
real with the fake. Jump off where you got up and head left to meet SYD in
the trees, there a CUTSCENE will happen, after all that protect the officers
from the NEVI till CUTSCENE, [THE HEKSEVILLE PHANTOM trophy]

Episode 5: A Meeting With Destiny [EP05]
==============================================================================
After talking the FORTUNE TELLER who follow the DOVE till it stops, then you
talk to the BOY, after that come back out and shift up and look right for a
BLUE FLAG, then see RED BALLONS, go collect all 7 then see 1 straggling one
so follow it till it reaches a man, after that use the STASIS FIELD and carry
him to his SON but not there but the TUNNEL is open, enter and explore and
see a new world. DUSTY then runs off and you need to catch him, dodge
everything while trying to keep up with DUSTY, eventually you reach a PIPE,
jump in then CUTSCENE [A MEETING WITH DESTINY trophy]

Episode 6: The Lost City [EP06]
==============================================================================
After reaching the RIFT PLANE, defeat the 3 NEVI here which will light up the
FLOWER, keep repeating this till you encounter a TREE which gives you the
SPECIAL POWER: SPIRALLING CLAW, keep repeating this till you reach the BOSS.
The boss is pretty simple, attack both it antennas till the cores break, the
middle core will be open which you can attack, careful when attacking the
middle core as it will shoot you to make you back off [WHEN THE CORE LIGHTS
UP, THAT MEANS ITS GOING TO SHOOT] when you defeat it tap on the BLUE CIRCLE
to FINISH it.
After returning back to town you want to explore another part of the city, go
to the train station and board the train, you will then be on top of the
train because they don’t allow pets on trains [WHILE ON THE TRAIN, JUST WAIT
AND DO NOTHING WHILE COLLECTING CRYSTALS, IF YOU FOOL AROUND AND FALL OFF YOU
HAVE TO SHIFT TO THE NEXT CITY] (THE LOST CITY trophy)

Episode 7: Too Many Secrets [EP07]
==============================================================================
After meeting NEWT, he tells you that his friend is missing and needs help
finding her, you then need to talk to students to find her;
1. Go to the student NORTHWEST of your position and talk to him, he will then
start running so you need to chase, keep following him till you catch him.
2. Head SOUTH from your current position and talk to the girl here, he doesn’t
tell you anything but a urban legend, the person you want is SOUTH of her
where you need to take a test;
A: FIRE
B: ARQUEBUS ACADEMY
C: LEFT HAND
After answering all the right questions you then head to the school and talk
to NEWT, you then need to fly him around the school to look for ECHO, after
you talk to MAYE who tells you where ECHO is then a CUTSCENE.
You have to chase the SPIDER NEVI around CAMPUS, attack all the cores on the
back while avoiding ECHO, if you hit ECHO the infective percentage will rise
and if it hits 100 game over, after following it for while you can finally
fight it 1v1, all you have to do it hit the core while avoiding the shots
and avoid hitting ECHO. [TOO MANY SECRETS trophy)

Episode 8: A Hundred and One Nights [EP08]
==============================================================================
Talk to GADE to travel to another RIFT PLANE. This place is perfect for
practicing sliding as well as shifting through tight corners, pretty much
the same thing you did in the other RIFT PLANE, kill NEVI and follow the
FLOWER, and get the TREE to get SPECIAL POWER: GRAVITY TYPHOON, keep doing so
till you meet RAVEN.
RAVEN is pretty simple to beat, avoid her kicks and projectiles, use your
GRAVITY TYPHOON to overpower her then finish her off with GRAVITY KICKS,
tap for finisher then CUT.
After you come back board the airliner to the next city, just enjoy the view
and don’t get off. [A HUNDRED AND ONE NIGHTS trophy]

Episode 9: Letting Old Ghosts Die [EP09]
==============================================================================
Go patrol area here then to another spot, after the second spot explosions
start going off, head for the WASTE PLANT and go to the garbage to find the
BOMB in here [STASIS FIELD], bring it up to CHAZ who disarms it, you need to
go back and help the officers fend off some NEVI.
After all that you need to rescue 3 officers;
1. Just above you
2. Guy across on a tower with a big sphere on it
3. Guy left on a smokestack
You then need to head to where the real gem is but ALIAS has taken it already,
chase ALIAS who then sends out some NEVI, after that he splits into 2 so go
after 1 by the stairs going up, then some more NEVI then splits into 2 again
so go left to the one up the stairs then you fight a lot of NEVI here, after
that he splits into multiple people, keep chasing them till you find the real
one then more NEVI, then go over to the real ALIAS.
Boss time, this is pretty simple but really annoying as the heads sway a lot
causing you to miss a lot, attack both heads and takeout their armor, then
break both cores to make it come down, use SPIRALING CLAW on ALIAS then
GRAVITY KICK him till he comes up [HE HEALS AFTER HE COMES BACK UP] repeat
this step till you finish him off. [LETTING OLD GHOSTS DIE trophy]

Episode 10: Curiosity Killed the Cat [EP10]
==============================================================================
The last and final RIFT PLANE, so you pretty much know the drill, kill NEVI
and follow the FLOWERS but wait, there is one problem, DUSTY is sick and you
cant properly use your powers to its fullest so you have to jump on the
mushrooms and use shifting at appropriate times, make sure you hit the TREE
for the SPECIAL POWER: MICRO BLACK HOLE.
When you reach the boss you have to takeout all the NEVI on the PILLAR before
you can actually finish off the boss, this is pretty simple. [CURIOSITY
KILLED THE CAT trophy]

Episode 11: Thick Skin [EP11]
==============================================================================
You know the boss you just fought, well hes back for round 2 and he brought
a lot of friends to help him, fight them off till you get to a CUTSCENE,
after that repeat on how you beat him but take out pestering NEVU before
attacking him. [THICK SKIN trophy]

Episode 12: Look Out Below [EP12]
==============================================================================
So you need to find the letter for the young lady, so jump off to the marker
and keep doing so till you enter a VASE looking tunnel, after you pass
through the storm you lose your shifting powers, so avoid all the mine
looking NEVI while falling and collecting CRYSTALS at the same time, keep
this up till you reach the bottom.
After you reach the bottom you pass through another storm which give you back
your powers, avoid fighting all the NEVI and collect the CRYSTALS till you
reach another VASE and then you repeat what you did in the first VASE.
After reaching the bottom and entering the storm, avoid fighting the NEVI
while collecting CRYSTALS and enter the last VASE, there you will still have
your powers and a CUTSCENE will happen.
Here you have to reach the bottom while avoiding RAVEN [Put up SHIFTING SPEED
to speed up falling]. You have to avoid her GRAVITY TYPHOON which is easy as
well as a TELEPORTING attack which brings you back to the very beginning, if
you avoid these then its easy. [USE GRAVITY TYPHOON ON HER TO GIVE YOU SOME
BREATHING ROOM SO YOU CAN FALL] (LOOK OUT BELOW trophy)

Episode 13: Kids Just Don’t Understand [EP13]
==============================================================================
After all the CUTSCENES and talking to CYANEA, jump on the CAGE to lower it
to the bottom to free yourself. After that turn the corner to the left and up
some stairs to the MARKER, after coming up the stairs wait for the kid to
turn his back to get by, the next kid you want him to start on the far left
before jumping across and for the last kid is to let him run at you then he
runs back.
After that a CUTSCENE happens then takeout all the NEVI and protect the
children. [KIDS JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND trophy]

Episode 14: The Lost Tribe [EP14]
==============================================================================
This part can be irritating sometimes as your kicks might go by NUSHI, you
can only attack NUSHI when it uses it HYPER BEAM ATTACK in which you attack
the back of its head, keep following it while dodging its shots and waiting
for it to use its HYPER BEAM ATTACK.
The next part RAVEN helps you, this time you can only hurt NUSHI with the
help of RAVEN, get NUSHI attention when it uses HYPER BEAM ATTACK, then make
it follow you to RAVEN where she hurts it, you need to do this 3 times to
finish it off. [THE LOST TRIBE trophy]

Episode 15: Memories of Another World [EP15]
==============================================================================
Here you enter the mind of CYANEA the DREAM CREATOR, here you need to find a
path to reach the glowing woman.
1. Go behind and go up using the GRAVITY then jump across and use GRAVITY to
go back down and reach woman.
2. All about timing, just as the GRAVITY MARKER hits the block, move into it
to hit the block repeat this step till you reach the woman.
3. Jump across and use the GRAVITY, then get on block and jump to the next
one then to woman.
4. Confusing but since I’m here no problem, go right, up, up then jump to
person.
5. Jump behind to the blocks then use GRAVITY, go up and use GRAVITY to left
and then GRAVITY down to woman.
6. Go left and climb up the blocks, go to the GRAVITY going right and then
pretty much straightforward
7. Go to the CRYSTAL then head backwards to the CASTLE then CUTSCENE.
[MEMORIES OF ANOTHER WORLD trophy]

Episode 16: Children of the Past [EP16]
==============================================================================
Before taking CYAENA to the MARKER, go collect all the CRYSTALS here because
you can now see all of them. [THIS ALSO EFFECTS IN HEKSEVILLE IN EACH CITY]
Take CYANEA to the MARKER who then tells you to go to the ARK and talk to
RAVEN which then a CUTSCENE happens, you then fight NUSHI 1v1.
This time NUSHI has some upgrades, you need to attack all the cores on the
back before you can attack the one on the back of his head [NOTE: ONLY ATTACK
CORE ON BACK HEAD WHEN IT USES HYPER BEAM ATTACK] (CHILDREN OF THE PAST trophy]

Episode 17: Fading Light [EP17]
==============================================================================
So now its time to back to the world we left behind, avoid fighting all the
NEVI here till you reach the STORM, defeat all NEVI to make STORM disappear,
continue forward and avoid all the MINE NEVI here, you then here a voice
which is above you, the man here is looking for a LETTER so take him up to
ROCK where you fight of NEVI to get the LETTER.
Avoid all the MINE NEVI till you reach another STORM, kill all the NEVI here
to advance, keep going till CUTSCENE. [FADING LIGHT trophy]

Episode 18: Adreaux on Call [EP18]
==============================================================================
Before starting the mission explore around here to pickup all the nice goodies.
Here you meet a scientist who needs your help;
1. Drop down and fight 2 NEVI and retrieve his CASE
2. Place 4 SENSORS in each of the following markers, 2 spots have NEVI while
the other 2 don’t [IF YOU DROP ONE WHILE FIGHTING, ITS OK, THERE ARE PLENTY
OF SPARES TO GO AROUND]
3. Next you have to flip the switch on one of them which you fight afterwards
4. Place one more which you have to fight again, then have a time on what
happens next.
After all that ADREAUX needs help doing some errands, sightseeing and making
his airboat on time, all in the time span of 2:30 [ADREAUX ON CALL trophy]

Episode 19: Falling to Pieces [EP19]
==============================================================================
Here you have to find 20 DUSTYS which is pretty simple, after you collect 10
of them you get some of powers back [ALL OF THEM, LOL]
11: Fight 2 NEVI to get it
12: Fight 2 waves of NEVI before getting DUSTY
13: Up top after getting the 12th DUSTY
14-16: Fight 6 NEVI to get them
17-20: Fight a lot of NEVI before getting the last 4
Then at the last part, you fight 4 NEVI then use FINISHER on the big DUSTY
[FALLING TO PIECES trophy]

Episode 20: An Unguarded Moment [EP20]
==============================================================================
Fight off NEVI with ANEMONE, keep doing so till you reach about 30-40 kills
where a CUTSCENE will occur.
After the CUTSCENE you have to fight YUNICA, she is fairly easily but is
very mobile and annoying, she has 3 attacks; BLAST SHOT, DASH ATTACK and
STINGERS, you want to avoid her BLAST SHOT at the beginning and use GRAVITY
TYPHOON on her, here she should call in the STINGERS, GRAVITY KICK her till
she uses OVERRIDE, by that time you should have another GRAVITY TYPHOON,
use it to finish her off, after that a CUTSCENE [AN UNGUARDED MOMENT trophy]

Episode 21: No Rest for the Virtuous [EP21]
==============================================================================
Try attacking ANEMONE but nothing works, wait for a CUTSCENE where YUNICA
shoots it an exposes its core, attack the core till it breaks in which a
CUTSCENE happens.
Now its time for round 2, pretty much the same thing you did in round 1 but
this time it has 3 cores, then CUTSCENE when done.
After it mounts itself on the CLOCK TOWER, you cant hurt but keep trying till
you get a CUTSCENE, you then use your FINISHER on GADE to knock it off the
TOWER.
You then have 5:00 to defeat it before game over, keep attacking it till
reaches ½ HP in which it turns on its shield, try attacking a bit but cant do
anything but take damage, you have to wait a bit before YUNICA and RAVEN can
help you;
YUNICA = Only get 1-2 GRAVITY KICKS in
RAVEN = 3-6 GRAVITY KICKS or 1 SPECIAL ATTACK
Once it has no HP use the FINISHER and then watch the CREDITS roll.
[NO REST FOR THE VIRTUOUS trophy]

END GAME

After you finish the game, reload your file to get a trophy [TOP CAT], pretty
much the CITY is peace and there is really nothing to do, you can complete
challenges, collect more crystals, and try and get 100% completion in the game.

RIFT PLANE.
