Part 1.0. Introduction
============================================================
Hi, I'm Wong. I like Disgaea 4. This guide is made for those
who would like a listing of the Pirate Ship Parts from
Disgaea 4 and would like to know how to obtain them. This
guide will assume that you know the general basics of how to
play Disgaea 4 and capable of providing yourself with the
resources to successfully acquire Pirate Ship Parts.

Part 1.A. - Version History
------------------------------------------------------------
2011.10.16 - Version 1.01
- Updated Sharkpedo (Right) to come from Duck Pirates.
2011.10.15 - Version 1.00
- Created guide.
------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1.B. - Frequently Asked Questions
------------------------------------------------------------
If you have any questions regarding discplining and obtain-
ing Pirate Ship Parts, just send me a message on GameFAQs
and I'll do my best to answer it. I won't answer any
questions that have been covered here or in this guide.
-
Q: Question?
A: Answer.
-
Q: I'm on F91+ and I can't find Meowkins Pirates!
A: Patience. There's also a higher chance of the Meowkins
Pirates appearing on the Treasure Path. This is because
the pirates from the Innocent Boost Path and Item Growth
Path do not appear on the Treasure Path. You can try it
out there for better luck.
-
Q: COMMANDO PIRATES DON'T EXIST!
A: That's not a question. And yes, they do exist. Just be
patient in finding them.
-
Q: Do enemy levels have anything to do with better chance
of getting pirate parts?
A: While many people believe that higher level enemies yield
better chances of getting pirate parts, it's uncertain if
levels do play a role, and how much.
-
Q: Do Pirate Ship Parts only appear in X-Dimension?
A: No. Pirate Ship Parts can appear outside of X-Dimension.
Whether or not the odds of Pirate Ship Parts appearing
within X-Dimension differ is unknown. However, many
speculate that P Flonzor X parts appear more frequent
in the X-Dimension.

Part 2.0. Getting Pirate Ship Parts
============================================================
To get Pirate Ship Parts, you may either defeat game-spawned
pirates in the Item World or capture enemy units and force
them to treasure locations through disciplining.
------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2.A. - Finding Pirates in Item World
------------------------------------------------------------
This is simple enough to do. The majority of game-spawned
pirates you encounter in the Item World contain Pirate Ship
Parts that add to your collection. To encounter pirates,
enter a floor, and wait a couple of turns. If none show up
for two turns, keep on moving.
If one group of pirates show up, you must defeat them all
to claim their Pirate Ship Part. As long as they're all dead
through some means, you can claim victory.
Keep in mind that even though one group of pirates show up,
there's a chance a second group will appear the following
turn. This means that even if the first group of pirates
shows up on the second turn, there's a chance a second set
of pirates will show up on the third.
Floor 91+
-Meowkins Pirates - Gives P Flonzor X Body
Reverse Pirating
-Robo Pirates - Gives Mini-Yoshitsuna (Body)
-Masked Hero Pirates - Gives Mini-Yoshitsuna (Body)
* Yes, they both give the same part.
------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2.B. - Discipline Requirements
------------------------------------------------------------
So, how do we capture enemies to discipline them? Well,
there are a few requirements.
1) You must have the Discipline Room Evil Symbol unlocked
and filled with at least one member. To unlock the bill
to retrieve the Evil Symbol, throw an enemy at least 3
times. Then, pass the bill. You'll want to fill up this
Evil Symbol with strong units.
This enables us to throw enemies into our Base Panel for
capturing. But in order for the captures to be successful,
other requirements must be met:
2) Valvatorez must be the enemy's level or higher in order
for it to be captured. If the enemy is higher level than
Val, the capture will fail and your Base Panel will
explode in a blaze of glory.
3) You must have the enemy's class unlocked including its
tier. If you do not have the enemy's class unlocked (and
its tier), you must do so before capturing. Otherwise,
your Base Panel will explode when the enemy is thrown in.
After you've successfully captured the enemy, go to the
Discipline Room through either the Cam-Pain HQ or your base
map. Discipline the caught enemy until its SP is low enough
for you to "negotiate" with it to "Find Treasure". However,
in order for Pirate Ship Parts to come up, you must have
the ability to create your own pirates.
4) Go to Item World and defeat any random group of pirates
you meet. Once you defeat them, the bill to create your
own pirates will appear in the Cam-Pain HQ. Pass that
bill and you'll be able to receive Pirate Ship Parts as
treasure now!
------------------------------------------------------------
2.C. - Negotiation and Resets
------------------------------------------------------------
A lot of what most players tend to do is that once they've
unlocked "Find Treasure" from the captured enemy, they leave
the Discipline Room and save first. After saving, they then
re-enter and select the Find Treasure location.
What's the reason for this?
Well, the way the system works is that the moment you select
Find Treasure, the item to be found (after breaking the
chest) is set in stone. If it's not an item they want, they
can reset and reload to before they pick the Find Treasure
option and get another chance at it.
When picking Find Treasure, the created treasure chest at
the treasure location will come from one of three possible
pools.
1) Random Bonus Rank Item - This can be in the form of HL,
EXP, or a random item from what could possibly be in the
Bonus Gauge. Note that even if you save after selecting
Find Treasure, a reload can change the contents of the
treasure chest. Most players reset to before they select
Find Treasure if they get something from this pool.
2) Fun-Weapon - Some classes and monsters have Fun-Weapons
that can be obtained. Note that if you save after select-
ing Find Treasure and you're to get a Fun-Weapon, any
amount of resets and reloads will yield the same rarity,
same Innocent contents Fun-Weapon. Most players reset to
before they select Find Treasure if they've already
gotten the Fun-Weapon. Possessing Fun-Weapons do not
deplete this pool.
3) Pirate Ship Parts - This is what we want. If you save
after selecting Find Treasure and if you're to get a
Pirate Ship Part, it will always be the same part. You
can never have two pieces of the same part simulatenously
(though some names overlap). Players can reset to before
they select Find Treasure to try for a different Pirate
Ship Part. However, obtaining a Pirate Ship Part removes
it from the random pool (unless the player deletes the
Pirate Ship Part). Therefore, it's not a bad idea to not
reset if you don't get the desired part, because the next
time you capture and discipline the enemy, there's a
better chance you'll get the desired part.
