I wanted to contribute translations to the boards but then realised that they
don't allow Japanese characters so I am going to take a shot at writting a FAQ.
Again this is actually my first writting a FAQ in my life so I apologise about
things not being formatted and pretty to look at.
Please note my Japanese and English isn't very good and I don't know many
things about the terminology regarding fighting games so if you spot
errors/mistakes please let me know and I'll try and fix it up.
I do not own the game yet so all info is taken from a Japanese wiki as such It
may not be 100% accurate.

By pressing the start button the training menu will be displayed.
蝓コ譛ャ險ュ螳 - Basic Settings
繝ェ繧ケ繧ソ繝シ繝?Restart) - Change character positions.
荳ュ螟ョ -Mid-screen
蜿ウ遶ッ - Right Corner
蟾ヲ遶ッ - Left Corner
繧ウ繝槭Φ繝峨Μ繧ケ繝?Command List) - You can check the character's move-list.
繧ウ繝ウ繝医Ο繝シ繝ォ(Controller) - You can configure the controller settings.
繝。繝九Η繝シ豸亥悉(Erase Menu) - You can erase the training menu to check game
screen.
險ュ螳壹r蛻晄悄迥カ諷九↓謌サ縺?Return Settings to Default) - Resets all
training options to the default setting.
繧ュ繝」繝ゥ繧ッ繧ソ繝シ繧サ繝ャ繧ッ繝医↓謌サ繧?Return to Character Select) - Returns
to the character select screen.
繝。繧、繝ウ繝。繝九Η繝シ縺ォ謌サ繧?Return to Main Menu) - Allows you to finish
training and return to the main menu.
繝励Ξ繧、繝、繝シ險ュ螳 - Player Settings
菴灘鴨繧イ繝シ繧ク(Health Gauge) - Settings for the health gauge:
閾ェ蜍募屓蠕ゥ縺ゅj(Automatic Health Regeneration) - When a character takes
damage they will automatically regain health.
閾ェ蜍募屓蠕ゥ縺ェ縺?No Automatic Health Regeneration) - When a character's
health gauge reaches 0 a K.O will be displayed.
菴灘鴨繧イ繝シ繧ク譛?螟ァ蛟、(Health Gauge Value) - With this setting you can set
the max amount of health starting from 10%-100%.
繧ッ繝ゥ繧、繝槭ャ繧ッ繧ケ繧イ繝シ繧ク(Climax Gauge) - Settings for the Climax Gauge:
繝?ヵ繧ゥ繝ォ繝?Default) - The gauge will increase and decrease as normal.
閾ェ蜍募「怜刈(Automatic Gain) - The climax gauge will gradually increase on its
own.
閾ェ蜍墓ク帛ー?Automatic Decrease) - The climax gauge will gradually decrease on
its own.
蟶ク縺ォ譛?螟ァ(Already at Max) - The gauge will be set at max and will not
decrease.
繧オ繝昴?繝医ご繝シ繧ク(Support Gauge) - Settings for the support gauge:
繝?ヵ繧ゥ繝ォ繝?Default) - The support gauge will act as normal and will
recover on its own.
鬮倬?溷屓蠕ゥ(Instant Recovery) - The support gauge will recover immediately.
繝悶Λ繧ケ繝医い繧、繧ウ繝ウ(Blast Icon) - Settings for the blast icon.
繝?ヵ繧ゥ繝ォ繝?Default) - The blast icon will act as normal and will recover
on its own.
鬮倬?溷屓蠕ゥ(Instant Recovery) - The blast icon will recover immediately.
蛻?j譛ュ繧「繧、繧ウ繝ウ(Trump Card Icon) - Settings for the trump card icons.
繝?ヵ繧ゥ繝ォ繝?Default) - The trump card icons will deplete as you use
them(will not recover)
蟶ク縺ォ譛?螟ァ(Already at Max) - The amount of trump card icons will be set as
max and will not be depleted.
繧ォ繧ヲ繝ウ繧ソ繝シ繝偵ャ繝?Counter Hit) - Allows you to change the counter hit
settings:
繝?ヵ繧ゥ繝ォ繝?Default) - Every hit will be a normal hit.
繧ォ繧ヲ繝ウ繧ソ繝シ(Counter) - Every hit will be a counter hit.
繝ゥ繝ウ繝?繝?繧ォ繧ヲ繝ウ繧ソ繝シ(Random Counter) - Counter hits will be random.
謨オ險ュ螳 - Allows you to adjust the enemy character's settings
謨オ縺ョ蜍穂ス懃憾諷?Enemy's State) - Allows you to change how the enemy acts:
遶九■(Standing) - Sets the character's state to Standing.
繧ク繝」繝ウ繝?Jumping) - Sets the character's state to jumping.
縺励c縺後∩(Crounching) - Sets the character's state to crouching.
CPU(Computer) - Sets the character's state to the computer.
繧ウ繝ウ繝医Ο繝シ繝ゥ(Controller) - Allows the character's state to be controlled
by another controller.
繝?繝溘?蜀咲函(Dummy Playback) - Replays a recording set by the player.
繧ャ繝シ繝?Guard) - Allows you to change the enemy's guard settings:
繧ャ繝シ繝峨@縺ェ縺?Will Not Block) - The enemy will not block.
蜈ィ縺ヲ繧ャ繝シ繝?Block Everything) - The enemy will block every attack.
蜍穂ス懃憾諷九〒繧ャ繝シ繝?Guard Depending on State) - The enemy will guard
depending on the state they are in(IE. Standing, Crouching and Jumping).
繧ャ繝シ繝峨ち繧、繝溘Φ繧ー(Guard Timing) - Allows you to change when the enemy
will block:
繝?ヵ繧ゥ繝ォ繝?Default) - (When blocking is possible) Every hit will be
blocked.
騾比クュ縺九i(Guard Halfway) - (When blocking is possible) The first hit will
never be blocked.
繝ゥ繝ウ繝?繝?(Random) - (When blocking is possible) The enemy will randomly
block.
謚輔£蝗樣∩(Throw Escape) - Allows you to set whether or not the enemy can
escape throws:
縺ェ縺?No Throw Escape) - The enemy will not escape from throws.
縺ゅj(Will Throw Escape) - The enemy will always escape from throws.
譛臥┌繝ゥ繝ウ繝?繝?(Random Throw Escape) - The enemy will randomly escape from
throws.
繧ソ繧、繝溘Φ繧ー繧偵Λ繝ウ繝?繝?(Random Timings) - The enemy will escape from
throws at random frames.
譛臥┌縺ィ繧ソ繧、繝溘Φ繧ー繧偵Λ繝ウ繝?繝?(Random Throw Escape and Random Timings)
- The enemy will randomly escape from throws as well as escape at random frames.
蜿励¢霄ォ(Recovery) - Changes settings for the enemy's recovery:
縺ェ縺?No Recovery) - The enemy will not recover.
蝙ら峩(Neutral) - The enemy will recover in neutral state.
蠕梧婿(Backwards) - The enemy will recover backwards.
蜑肴婿(Forward) - The enemy will recover forwards.
譁ケ蜷代r繝ゥ繝ウ繝?繝?(Random Direction) - The enemy will recover in a random
direction.
譁ケ蜷代→繧ソ繧、繝溘Φ繧ー繧偵Λ繝ウ繝?繝?(Random Direction and Timing) - The
enemy will recover in a random direction as well as a random frame.
繝?繝溘?險ュ螳?Dummy Settings) - Changes dummy settings:
繝?繝溘?縺ョ險倬鹸髢句ァ?Start Recording) - Start recording the dummy's actions.
蛛懈ュ「縺吶k(Stop) - Recording will stop.
蜀咲函縺吶k(Start Play) - This setting will set the enemy to dummy play-back
mode.
蟇セ雎。繧ケ繝ュ繝?ヨ(Target Slot) - You can choose which slot to save each
recording(Up to five slots).
蜀咲函譎る俣陦ィ遉コ(Display Playback Time) - Change settings for displaying
playback time:
陦ィ遉コ縺吶k(Display) - Shows the dummy's playback duration.
陦ィ遉コ縺励↑縺?Do Not Display) - Will not show the dummy's playback duration.
蜀咲函繧ソ繧、繝溘Φ繧ー(Playback Timing) - Allows you to change playback timing
settings:
荳?螳夐俣髫斐〒郢ー繧願ソ斐☆(Repeat at Constant Intervals) - The Dummy will
playback at every possible interval.
陦悟虚蜿ッ閭ス縺ォ縺ェ縺」縺溘i(If Able) - When the enemy is able, they will
playback the dummy recordings.
蜀咲函繧ソ繧、繝?Playback Type) - Allows you to choose what kind of playback
options you want:
騾壼クク蜀咲函(Normal Playback) - Only the selected slot will be play-backed.
繝ゥ繝ウ繝?繝?蜀咲函(Random Playback) - Will randomly choose a slot to be
play-backed.
陦ィ遉コ險ュ螳 - Options for what will be displayed on screen:
繝?繝。繝シ繧ク諠??ア陦ィ遉コ(Display Damage Information) - Settings for damage
information display:
陦ィ遉コ縺吶k(Display) - Displays information in the middle of the screen.
陦ィ遉コ縺励↑縺?Do Not Display) - Damage information will not be shown.
蜈・蜉帛ア・豁エ陦ィ遉コ(Display Input History) - Settings for Input History display:
陦ィ遉コ縺吶k(Display) - Displays information on the left side of the screen.
陦ィ遉コ縺励↑縺?Do Not Display) - Input history information will not be shown.
蜈・蜉帛女莉倥?繝ゥ繧ー(Attach Input Lag) - Settings for Input Lag:
縺ェ縺?None) - There will be no lagged inputs.
