Hello and welcome my guide to CounterSpy, I cant really give you an actual
guide but only TIPS on how to beat each level easier, I say this because
each level is randomly generated so you wont play the same level twice even
if you do get the same place, there wont be the same items and enemies in the
same place.

III. What is CounterSpy [003]
==============================================================================
This game is set during the COLD WAR but they don’t say that they are
AMERICANS or RUSSIANS but instead they known as IMPERIALISTS and SOCIALISTS,
you play a SPY that can work for either side to complete your objective and
get all the SCHEMATICS to stop them from BLOWING UP THE MOON.

IV. Weapons of CounterSpy [004]
==============================================================================
There are a total of 10 weapons in the game, for you to get them all you need
to find the WEAPON BLUEPRINTS in each level, you need to collect the required
BLUEPRINTS to unlock the weapon. [NOTE THAT THE WEAPONS ARE IN RANDOM ORDER
SO IF YOU REALLY WANTED THAT WEAPON, YOU HAVE TO GET LUCKY]
C.O.U.N.T.E.R. PISTOL: Your standard weapon and cannot switch it out, it’s a
nice weapon have for taking out 1 or 2 enemies but more than that be careful
as you only have 8 SHOTS in a clip.
DIPLOMATIC PISTOL: The best weapon to have in the whole game while you
remain undetected, this silenced pistol has only 6 SHOTS in a clip and a low
reserves but if you are accurate you should have no problem.
PERFORATOR RIFLE: A standard issue assault rifle with a large clip and
reserve ammo, it has decent accuracy and recoil making it an ideal choice for
taking on multiple enemies.
HUSHMAKER RIFLE: The silent version of the PERFORATOR RIFLE with reduced
damaged but with better accuracy and less recoil
ATOMIZER SHOTGUN: A very loud and strong shotgun, meant only for close
quarters as you will be screwed fighting anything mid to far range
WHISPER SHOTGUN: A silent version of the ATOMIZER SHOTGUN with all perks of
being silent.
SANDMAN SLEEPER: A tranquillizer gun that in a few seconds will put an enemy
to sleep and never to wake up again
DART PERSAUDER: This will instantly have enemies fight for you until they
died or kill everyone.
THE GOLDEN GIRL: A revolver that is slow in rate of fire but as strong as a
shotgun, this will takeout most enemies with 1 shot
FINAL NEGOTIATER: A grenade launcher that can bounce off walls to get
difficult enemies
TREATY VIOLATOR: Sticks a gel explosive, will detonate on bullet impact or
nearby gunfire.

V. Formulas of CounterSpy [005]
==============================================================================
There are a total of 8 FORMULAS in the game, like the BLUEPRINTS you need to
get a certain amount pages before you can unlock it. [THESE ARE ALSO RANDOM
SO YOU NEED TO GET LUCKY IF YOU WANT THE RIGHT ONE]
ENDURANCE: Reduces enemy gunfire and explosives by 40%. This is an ok perk
but should only be used later on in game like past DAY 8 as there a lot of
people and have a good chance of dying.
PERSUASION: This will automatically reduce the DEFCON by 1. This is extremely
useful when the DEFCON is at either 1 or 2, this is not useful at 5 since the
DEFCON cannot go any higher.
MASTER DISGUISE: Security cameras become less effective on you. This is good
for you if you don’t have the DIPLOMATIC PISTOL since you cant shoot CAMERAS
quietly, this is quite useful after DAY 7 since there are a lot CAMERAS and
cant get in position properly.
SILENT RUNNER: Running is quieter so doing stealth takedowns easier to do.
This is really useful no matter what DAY you are in, this makes the game a lot
easier when running around the level.
PRECISION AIM: Your bullets now go through ARMORED CAMERAS and HELMETS. This
is the most useful perk in the game as you can takeout any ARMORED CAMERA or
HELMET with any gun, nothing can stop you if you have great aim.
SIGNAL SCRAMBLING: When enemies call in for to raise the DEFCON it slows it
by 50%. Not really a useful perk since you will probably kill the guy calling
in.
COMPUTER WHIZ: Computers can be used to pause the LAUNCH COUNTDOWN if its
active. Im not really sure what that means unless the LAUNCH PLANS computers
count.
PHYSICAL CONDITIONING: Run speed is increased by 30%. This is extremely
useful in conjunction with SILENT RUNNER, if you plan on using this combo be
careful as you have a good chance of getting caught.

VI. Items of CounterSpy [006]
==============================================================================
There are a total of 5 items in the game;
AMMO LOCKER: There are at least one in each level but only one in each level,
this only gives you 1.5 of what your clip size is, the only downside about
this is you are a bad shot you can only get ammo for the weapon equipped, so
make those shots count.
DOSSIER VAULT: These are represented by GREEN, when you unlock the vault you
get a file and $500, so these are useful in finding because the money matter
more than the FILE unless you want to read the FILE.
FIRST AID LOCKER: Like the AMMO LOCKE there are at least 1 and at most 2 in
each level, this will heal you all the way.
FORMULA VAULT: These are represented by YELLOW, these are extremely helpful
and more important than the WEAPON BLUEPRINTS as you need them after DAY 5,
so picking all the missions with FORMULAS is helpful.
LOCKER: These are GREEN tall LOCKER, there are a lot in each level and can
give from $100-350 cash making these quite helpful when you need to buy stuff.
WEAPON BLUEPRINT VAULT: These are represented by BLUE, like the FORMULAS
these are important too, it depends on which way you want to go between them
but alternating is not a good choice.

VII. Enemy Types [007]
==============================================================================
There are 5 different types of enemies as well as the colors that define them;
SOLDIER: These are the typical force for the beginning levels of the game,
they do not move around a lot and are easy to kill. [THEY USUALLY HAVE NO CAP
OR HELMET ON]
SARGENT: These guys become the standard force after a few days in, unlike
the SOLDIERS they patrol more thoroughly and will stay watch each other’s
back if there any [USUALLY HAVE A HELMET OR CAP ON TO RECOGINZE THEM]
CAPTAIN: This guy looks nicely dressed and will either carry an ASSAULT RIFLE
or GRENADE LAUNCHER. [THESE GUYS ARE USUALLY THE ONES THAT MOVE A LOT MAKING
IT HARD TO TAKEOUT ENEMIES QUIETLY, SO BEING QUICK IS ADVISED]
SPECIALIST: These guys are in fully tactical gear making them the crazy
people of the game, they can take a lot of damage and have FULL HELMETS
making headshots useless unless you have PERCISION AIM FORMULA. [THESE GUYS
COME IN AROUND DAY 7 AND ARE DRESSED IN BLACK, THEY ARE CAPTAIN LEVEL AND ARE
ANNOYING TO TAKEOUT]
OFFICER: The pretty boy of level, all you have to do is get his attention but
make sure you point your gun at him so he surrenders, when he does the DEFCON
LEVEL downs by 1 [DO NOT KILL HIM IF YOU WANT THE DEFECON LEVEL TO GO DOWN,
IF YOU KILL HIM YOU GET NO POINTS AND THE DEFCON LEVEL DOESN’T GO DOWN]
There are 6 types of colors in the game, which tells what type of enemy you
deal with;
BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW: These are standard issue for both sides will and will
have either a SOLDIER, SARGENT or CAPTAIN in one
WHITE: Only OFFICERS will be in this color, they only appear in levels when
you are told
BLACK: Only SPECIALISTS come in this color, they will always be CAPTAIN level
RED: These guys will always be carrying a ROCKET LAUNCER, they will either be
SARGENT or CAPTAIN level [MAKE SURE YOU GET THIS GUY RIGHT AWAY AS EVEN IF
YOU ARE BEHIND COVER, YOU WILL STILL TAKE DAMAGE.

VIII. Tips on CounterSpy [008]
==============================================================================
Im sorry that there’s no actual guide for this game since its always randomly
generated, all I can do is provide tips for you.
============
GENERAL TIPS
============
- Make sure you read all the DAYS information, you may think nothing of it
but it actually provides you good advice on what is in the upcoming level
- When you are entering through a DOOR/VENT, make sure press your weight
against the DOOR/VENT to see if anyone is there
- When you dropping down make sure you are always at the edge but not falling
down to see if anyone is there
- Always take cover when you have the chance to avoid being seen
- Always explore everywhere because there could be secret areas that can lead
to LOCKERS, BLUEPRINTS, FORUMLAS or DOSSIERS
- DO NOT EVER GET LAUNCH PLANS OR VAULTS WHILE THEIR AR ENEMIES PRESENT AS
YOU ALERT THEM
- When climbing up the ladder you can have your head popping out a little
bit and not be noticed, when climbing down the ladder you can do go once and
not be seen making it easier to get kills
- Depending on what you to get BLUEPRINTS or PAGES, I would go with FORMULA
as you will want the PERCISION AIMING for HELMETS and ARMORED CAMERAS if you
plan on going SILENT the whole time.
- DO NOT LEAVE AN AREA WITH ENEMIES STILL IN IT, IF YOU DO YOU WILL EITHER
RAISE THE DEFCON LEVEL BY 1 OR BY 3/4
- If you have the STEALTH KILL count at 2 and get seen then it will back to 0
- Make sure you always refill your guns as you probably will run out of
bullets during the next level

MISSION TIPS
============
- The first area usually has one person guarding the entrance to the VENT, DOOR
or LEDGE
- When going down the ELEVATOR, you have a chance of having an enemy there
when you get off but most of the time you dont.
- The last area is usually divided into 2 parts, you start off by going down
and into the next part which has about 4-6 guys, then move into next room with
almost the same amount of enemies just in different spots.
- The second area usually has either 1 person or a CAMERA in there, making it
an easy area to clear
- The third or fourth area has a large amount of enemies is usually the biggest
area in the level
- Always takeout the strongest enemy as they pose they most threat to you

COMBAT TIPS
===========
- Always wait behind a WALL and an enemy to pass you and STEALTH TAKEDOWN him,
if there are 2 guys let, the other GUY see and let him get close enough, if
he doesn’t get close enough for the TAKEDOWN, he will RADIO for help which he
will be defenseless.
- Sometimes its good for an enemy to catch a glimpse of you when behind cover,
this will make the GUY who say you come towards you for an easy TAKEDOWN
- When there are 2 people close together, you can either be fast for 2
headshots, or carefully walk up and pop both
- Make sure you pay attention to the enemy routes, then pick off the ones that
don’t make contact with the others
- When facing multiple enemies and there are EXPLOSIVES, utilize them to
reduce their numbers
- EXPLOSIVES can hurt and even kill enemies behind cover, even EXPLOSIVES
under the FLOOR will enemies underneath, but be careful as if you too close
to the explosion you will take damage accordingly
- Headshots are key to killing enemies quickly but sometimes the aiming can be
off sometimes
- Always takeout the RED GUYS as they carry ROCKET LAUNCHERS, then the BLACK
GUYS as they are SPECIALISTS, they do a lot of damage and can take alot

STEALTH TIPS
============
- Always use to COVER to avoid being seen by the enemy
- If you have alot of money, always use SILENT RUNNER FORMULA to make takedowns
easier
- If not using SILENT RUNNER, always make sure you slowly walk up for the
TAKEDOWN
- If using a silenced weapon, have the PERCISION AIM to go through all the
ARMORED enemies since after DAY 5 will be hard.

WEAPON TIPS
===========
- Like the FORMULAS, the BLUEPRINTS you get are in a random order so you might
not get the weapon you want
- I would play the TUTORIAL MISSION again and get the DIPLOMATIC PISTOL for an
easier time in the game if you plan on playing silent
- The DART PRESUADER is an excellent choice to have when you have to deal with
a large amount of enemies and don’t want to deal with them, careful of not
getting the GUY with a SHOTGUN as it can be a 50/50 chance
- Make sure you have all 4 weapons slots full as later on in the game the
levels get harder and sometimes requires bullets instead of stealth
- You should always carry one silenced weapon, the SANDMAN SLEEPER or DART
PRESUADER, an ASSAULT RIFLE or SHOTGUN

FORMULA TIPS
============
- I would try and get PERCISION AIMING as it will be the best FORMULA to
have after DAY 5 or so, this will takeout anyone with a HELMET or ARMORED
CAMERA
- Just pick ones that you need because using these do eat up a lot of cash
if you constantly use it
- The FORMULAS you find are in a random order so getting the one you want,
you hav to get lucky

IX. Achievements/Trophies [009]
==============================================================================
There are a total of 14 trophies in the game;
11 Bronze, 2 Silver and 1 Gold
Cooking With Gas [Bronze]: Shoot an enemy projectile while it is in mid-air
How to Get: You need a RED GUY to shoot a ROCKET at you and then shoot it out
the air
Explosives Expert [Bronze]: Take out at least 5 enemies with one explosive
How to Get: Done later in the DAYS where there are a lot of enemies, use
First Strike [Silver]: Stop the superpowers from launching the nukes
How to Get: Complete the final level of the game after you have collected all
the LAUNCH PLANS
Idle Hands [Bronze]: Search all the lockers in a single mission. [CANNOT BE
DONE IN TUTORIAL MISSION]
How to Get: Just find all the LOCKERS in the level, make sure you explore
everywhere to get this
International Nemesis [Bronze]: Loot a rival agent [ONLINE ONLY]
How to Get:
Load Em Up [Bronze]: Equip all available weapon slots
How to Get: Have all 4 weapon spots filled
On Target [Bronze]: Beat the game without using a continue
How to Get: Do not let any side launch their missiles
Professional [Bronze]: Score 10,000 points or more in a single mission
How to Get: Score 10,000 points or more in a single mission
Sharpshooter [Bronze]: Execute 5 successful headshots in a row
How to Get: Execute 5 successful headshots in a row
Silent Killer [Bronze]: Execute 10 stealth takedowns in one mission
How to Get: Execute 10 stealth takedowns in one mission
Sleeping on the Job [Bronze]: A guard sees a tranquilized guard while the
player remains undetected
How to Get: Once you have the SANDMAN GUN, you must have at least 2 GUARDS
for this to work, tranquillize one guard and let the other see while you
remain hidden
Super Spy [Silver]: Complete a mission without being seen by the enemy
How to Get: Quite hard to get as you get impatient sometimes, play patient
and use the DIPLOMATIC PISTOL to achieve this.
Welcome to C.O.U.N.T.E.R [Bronze]: Complete the tutorial
How to Get: Just complete the tutorial to get this
World Peace... For Now [Gold]: Beat the game on all difficulties
How to Get: You must beat all 3 difficulties to get this

This is quite a nice game to have on either your VITA or your PS3/PS4, while
it may not be perfect its something to have at least to play.
PROS
- Its randomly generated level every time you play so its not always going to
same level you play, while some things may be the same place not all will be.
- The difficulty is just right so playing it wont be too hard for anyone
CONS
- The aiming controls can be some problems and not always be responsive
- The enemy AI can be stupid at some times making it either easy for you to
takedown or impossible sometimes.
