For those of you who read the first part of this walkthrough when it was
first posted over a year ago, here's what happened:
I continued working hard on the walkthrough right through to the end of
the second area(UNGIE). Still using an old Pentium 1 computer, I tried to
install a USB port to make transfer to my main PC easier.
This crashed it and it wouldn't start up after that. Depressed, I never
got around to trying to hook up the hard drive to another computer(I had
to dismantle nearly the entire ancient PC just to get it out).
Well, today I finally did and thankfully, it appears that all of the text
files are still intact(I just hope the save file is still in my Turbo Duo).
I quickly compiled as much as is completed and am now posting it as is.
This will get you through to the next area and my old simple walkthrough is
still at the end, so you can still finish this great game using this guide.

FULL MOON UNGIE---------------------------------------------------------
MAKE SURE TO VISIT EVERY DRUID SHRINE ON THE MAIN MAP FOR NOW ON.
THEY GIVE YOU NEW SPELLS.
1:- ENTER "CHURCH". TALK TO HEAD DRUID. LEAVE AND ENTER CIRCUS. GO
DOWNSTAIRS. TALK TO BALL-GUY, WHO SAYS "HOINYA, HOINYA, HOINYA!".
2:- GO BACK & TALK TO SUMOS TO GET ITEM. RETURN + USE ITEM ON
"HOINYA" GUY(FUJI YAMA). BEAT BOSS.
3:- SEARCH GRAVE IN CIRCUS TOWN TO FIND ITEM.
4:- ENTER EMPTY BLACKSMITH'S BUILDING. GO INTO THE BACK AREA TO
FORGE SILVER BULLET.
5:- GO NORTH WEST TO ENTER JUNGLE MAZE.
6:- BEAT ENGIE ONCE, LEAVE, SAVE, & RETURN.
7:- DEFEAT UNGIE, USE THE "FINISHING MOVE" COMMAND WHEN IT COMES UP.
8:- TALK TO "CLOWN" LADY.
9:- CATCH BOAT TO MAINLAND.
THOUSAND YEAR KARUNA----------------------------------------------------
WHEN YOU FIRST GET TO MAINLAND AFTER DEFEATING UNGIE, SKIP THE AREA
YOU ARRIVE IN. JUST HEAD NORTH AND CATCH THE SUBWAY TO THE NEXT AREA
WHERE THESE WALKTHRU POINTS BEGIN.
MAKE SURE TO RETURN TO THE FAIRY AFTER EACH TIME YOU USE AN ELIXER,
TO GET ANOTHER ONE.
IF YOU DON'T CHECK OUT THE BRIDGE BEFORE GETTING OKUNI, YOU'LL MISS
MANTO.
1:- ENTER CITY ADJACENT TO MANSION. TALK TO A GUY ON THE SECOND
FLOOR OF A BUILDING. SEARCH THE STATUE & ENTER TUNNEL TO MANSION.
2:- AFTER MEETING UP WITH OKUNI. LEAVE AND HEAD NORTH AROUND THE
FORESTS TO THE SMALL LAGOON. SEARCH THE POND TO REFILL STATS.
THEN SEARCH AGAIN, OR LEAVE, RETURN & SEARCH TO GET THE FAIRY
TO GIVE YOU ELIXER.
3:- BRING ELIXER BACK TO CURE OKUNI.
4:- WITH OKUNI, RETURN TO MANSION & GO THRU MAZE.
5:- BEAT BOSS, RESCUE PRINCESS DEINA AND GRAB A DRILL BURROWER. MAKE
YOUR WAY BACK TO THE ROYAL CITY.
6:- GO TALK TO DEINA & CAPTAIN OF THE GAURD IN THE PALACE.
7:- AFTER REGROUPING, VISIT MUSEUM & PICK UP THE GRAIL. TAKE THE
GRAIL TO FAIRY SPRING. -EITHER USE GRAIL ON SPRING OR SEARCH
SPRING REPEATEDLY TO FILL GRAIL.
8:- RETURN TO MUSEUM. ENTER MAZE THRU BACK. STAIRWAYS ARE HIDDEN
UNDER CHESTS. WALK BACK + FORTH ON A SCREEN OR ENTER + RE-ENTER
TO MAKE CHESTS DISSAPEAR.
9:- AT BOTTOM OF MAZE, BEAT KARUNA ONCE, LEAVE, SAVE, & RETURN.
10:- DEFEAT KARUNA.
11:- TAKE SUBWAY TO NEW AREA.
ETERNAL SANGUE----------------------------------------------------------
If you visit SANGUE before you're ready, you'll go through a
different maze and fight a boss that you can't defeat.
If you ride the Dog Bus, he'll take you to meet Loche Ness. While
there, search the pillow in the guy's house.
There is an empty store in the area where you meet the three women.
If you enter enough times, the ghost will offer to sell you some
usefull items.
From now on, also remember to pick up a new elixer from the fairy in
KARUNA's area, after using one up.
1:- Exit subway. Go to house at bottom right of town, talk to the
Old man.
2:- Go West to a small house with three women. Talk to them, rest,
leave.
3:- Return the first town. Talk to the Old man and recieve the
Magic Mirror.
4:- Go back to the three women and use the Mirror. Be ready to fight
a boss.
5:- Open the chest to obtain a new mask for Ziami. Head to Stone
Henge.
6:- Once in the Sky Maze, make your way thru(draw a map), and defeat
the Boss.
7:- Grab the special Items before leaving. If you fall off of one of
the ledges here, you'll uncover the Pegasus racing Gambling game.
8:- Now head to SANGUE's castle. Make sure you're stocked up and
ready for a long trip.
9:- When fighting SANGUE, use the "Finishing Move" command once it
appears.
10:- After meeting up with Fuji Yama, Take the subways back to the
first area of the mainland, where the Tower of London is.
DEMON LORD GULP---------------------------------------------------------
There are lots of equipment that can be used as items in the fights
here. You should pick up the equipment that can be used as a heal
spell(I believe you can buy it in the Western city). You don't have
to equip an item to use it in a fight, so get one for everybody.
Make sure you have the fairy's elixer before facing MAOU GULP.
Also use all of your special attack items(if you haven't sold them)
on GULP, because this is your last and best chance to.
Also test out all of your spells, techniques, and equipment, to make
sure you know what the do in and out of fights.
1:- Use Ziami's mask to dissolve the barriers guarding each of the
four temples.
2:- Defeat each of the bosses and collect the tree branches.
3:- Match the correct branches with each temple and the temple will
become a Druid shrine, and the barriers in the southern temple
will dissapear.
4:- After reverting the final temple, and obtaining the Wolf Guardian
power for Okuni, save and head for the southern arena.
5:- This is the coolest part of the entire game. Also, the passage to
the Tower of London will be opened.
6:- Once inside the Tower, you'll take different routes and defeat
bosses to open up new areas.
7:- After defeating each boss, Kabuki's weapon will evolve. By the
time you reach GULP, Kabuki's weapon will be the finishing move.
So don't worry about being ready able to kill GULP.
8:- If you're having trouble beating GULP, remember that you should be
at or above level 53 or so for each character, otherwise, it'll be
pretty tough.
On GULP, I generally use the fire spell with Okuni, the hundred hand
slap with Fuji Yama, and either regular attacks or the technique that
takes HP with Kabuki(alternated with healing of course).
The events after GULP is defeated are pretty straightforward, so I
won't go over them since it will only spoil the ending.
Congratulations! You've now enjoyed not only the best RPG ever, but
also my favorite game of all time. Even today, a game hasn't been made
thats impressed or entertained me as much as Kabuki den.
TRICKS------------------------------------------------------------------
PLAY YOUR OWN MUSIC-
WHILE ON THE WORLD MAP, HOLD "SELECT", AND PUSH BUTTON "II", TO
JUMP START THE BG MUSIC. IF YOU OPEN THE LID ON YOUR CD DRIVE AND
PUT IN A DIFFERENT DISC; YOU CAN PLAY THE CORESPONDING TRACK #.
FOR EXAMPLE- IF THE BG MUSIC IS TRACK #5 ON THE KABUKI DEN CD,
THE GAME WILL PLAY TRACK #5 FROM THE NEW DISC.
*JUST REMEMBER TO PUT KABUKI DEN BACK IN BEFORE OR DURING THE NEXT
LOAD:- WHEN ENTERING A NEW CITY OR AREA. THIS TRICK IS GREAT FOR
WHEN YOUR POWERING UP FOR A WHILE.
DEBUG AREA-
Make sure to Save before finishing the game.
At the end of the game, after the credits have finished, there
will be a screen with a white japanese word in the middle of the
screen, with a striped background behind it.
Press button I and you'll hear a chime. Now reset and load your
Save file at the end.
Go to the very upper righthand corner of the room with 3 treasure
chests and you'll fall through a secret trapdoor.
You'll find yourself in a new area, the NEKODARUMA NO YAKANI. Here
you can sample pretty much every aspect of the game at your leasure.
