I)INTRODUCTION:
===============
Traverse: Starlight&Prairie is a Pandora Box game published by Banpresto in
1996. This game is in Japanese only and is not really famous. There are not
yet fan translation for this game, but many things in this game are in English
(name of items, towns and menus). This game is a turn based RPG that looks
like Romancing Saga 3, it has the same concept of freedom: after the first
events, you can go anywhere in the world, visit most villages but in Traverse
you can go to dungeons just by wandering around and you can always have all
characters with you. There are many quests but the requirements are rarely
obvious. The final goal is to have all characters and make all quests.
So the game can be very difficult (and get boring quickly) if you don't read
Japanese, it's why I wrote this guid, my first one.

You're not forced at all to follow this guide step by step, it's just the way
I followed to finish the game and what I think is the best one.
Quests with a * are not needed to see the true end.

PS: I made this guide with the help of a bad translation of a Japanese guide
coming from a site, I indicate when I copy some parts (it is rare) by saying
"from the guide".

II)HISTORY:
===========
Version 1.5: equipments section almost completed, database section started.
This update was written a year ago, but I stopped writing,
I'm currently working on a much bigger update, this version can
            sometimes look like a draft
Version 1.3: magic subsection added, looking forward to make a character and
            equipment section
Version 1.2: weapons ranking section added, minor corrections
Version 1.1: stats bonuses section added, minor corrections
Version 1.0: food location, Gantt birthday and Bumbu appearance errors
corrected, Saihate festival added, complete guide
is lacking: Uhomi marriage and sound test unlock, use of dirty
            items and gold necklace
Version 0.7: First release, covers a good part of the game and the basics
submitted the 28/11/04

I)BASICS OF THE GAME:
=====================
a)Controls
A is used to accept, talk, take chests or check. In the world map it is used
to put a destination.
B is used to cancel and stop moving in the world map.In battles it makes the
character wait.
Y is used in the world map to change the small map to indicate quests places
(blue squares) or cities (yellow squares)
X is used to make the menu appear.
L is used to teleport in the world map (very important) and in the status of
the characters.
R is used to make the cursor go quicker and make your character run if you
have hyper shoes. It is also used in status menu.
SELECT is used to enter in the balloon or the sky ship if you have them in
the world map.
START is used to get in view mode on the world map, in this mode you can see
around your character without making him move.

b)Menu
Status:
It will show the list of your characters and all informations on them.
Press A on a name and you will have a black art of your character, his
 figure, his age/sex/birthday/blood type/constellation/equipments.
-Under there are his stats: they vary from 0 to 99 so 50 is average.
-By pressing L or R you can see the skills: it shows what type of weapons
the character can take, his magic and their levels. Note that you can't gain
level for skills you don't have, if you don't have spear 1 you will never
be able to wear spears. The skills raise after battles if you used them
enough times, and magic works the same way as weapon skills.
-After there is the licence: I don't know how can you use these, there are
characters that have trap or swim with 1 after but you can't change
anything. Forget about licences, they affect nothing as far as I know.
-After there are the specials: they are skills that your character can use
in battles by losing little FP (FP=HP).

Item:
You can see your items here. You can use items to heal FP here.

Equipment:
It's where you equip the items. You can have one weapon (you need a level 1
skill in a weapon to equip it), one armor and one buckler with no specific
requirements (all the characters can equip all armors and shields).
An arrow indicates if the equipment is stronger than the one you wear.

Expert:
Expert is used to make your party that will be used in the battles. The hero
must always fight. Note that characters can be changed during the battles by
losing one turn, and that the original party will come back for the next
 battle automatically.
BEWARE! The characters' position DOES affect their damage! Read the useful
 tips part for more information

Knowledge:
The knowledge is a very important part of the menu: it shows a map of the
world with all the cities, or with all the quests' locations you discovered
or that someone gave to you. It's important to check it often.
If you press R you will see the name of the countries and their borders.
You can see more information on countries by pressing A and then R: you will
see the names of all the cities in English (all the names I use come from
here) and detailed information: number of houses, shop, blocks, presence of
bar, inn, park and a special place.

System:
Sound type, message speed and colors of the menu: useless.

Marriage:
Can only be used on the world map after leaving the first island.
The marriage brings the end of the game, you can unlock many marriages
during the game, the real ending comes if you finish all events (except
those I tell as useless) and have all characters and marry Sonia.
Always save before doing a marriage as it will send back to the starting
 menu of the game.

c)The world map
In the world map, you can't directly control Gantt. You must put a destination
and the hero will try to go to it.If he meet a town or a quest place he can
access without knowing his location, he will enter or say something if it's
closed. The quest places are not visible on the main screen but are indicated
by a blue square on the little map in the bottom part of the screen (you must
press Y otherwise it indicates towns). You can discover places just by
wandering around but not all the places are accessible by this way. In my
guide I'll do as if you didn't know these places but it is the interest of the
game so sometimes you can do things only by walking randomly on the world map.
The white lines indicate the borders of the countries. If you have the balloon
you can use it by pressing SELECT and you will follow the wind. If you have
the sky ship you can go anywhere.
By pressing L you can teleport to an already visited town, it will indicate
the number of days it takes.

d)The battles
There 7 possible actions in the battle, represented by icons except for making
the character wait:
-The sword is to attack.
-The rod is to use magic.
-The bag is to use items.
-The yellow character running is to run.
-The double yellow arrows makes you change your character, it takes a turn and
after the battle the original formation comes back.
-The SP is to use specials, they remove FP.
-Pressing B makes your character wait, it gives no bonuses and doesn't make
your next character play quicker so avoid it.

After each battle, you have the list of items taken from the monsters, then
the magics and abilities level up.

e)Karma
The karma is a value you canNOT see in game without an action replay, but it's
really important in the game. Most likely, good actions lead to a low karma
and vice versa. When you start the game, depending of your answers to the
goddesses, you are almost sure to get a karma between 48 and 60.
There are two major uses for karma: one that requires a karma of under 35 (it
is quite long to get to it) and one that requires 60 karma or more (can be
made in seconds). The other quests generally require a karma under 70, which
should not be a problem. I strongly advise to make your karma goes up to 60
just after leaving the first island because the quest requiring low karma
needs at least a year to happen whereas the other quest can be done as the
first quest.
In my guide, I put all places where karma can change. If you really want to
see your karma value, search the code named 7E0B38xx (it's useful in the
beginning).

PS: If you have already done quests that lower karma before doing the quest
that requires more than 60 karma, you will have to do it after finishing the
one that requires low karma except if you did quests that only lower karma by
few points (around 10 and less should be fine).

f)Weapon skills
Each character starts with some weapon skills, most of the time at level 1,
except some (useless) characters that can't use any weapon. Contrary to
Romancing Saga, your skill raises aren't random, you need to use a weapon kind
the skill level of your weapon kind plus 1 times 4:
number of uses = 4x(current weapon skill +1)
The skill level can't go higher than 16 (unless you use action replay), but I
never got that high. It's useless to focus on more than one weapon per
character.

g)Magic
Magics evolve the same way as weapons: after a certain amount of uses of a
magic, its level rises and you can use once more, and if your character
doesn't start with a magic skill, he'll never be able to use it. Using a magic
once (whatever the level) counts as 2 uses, so magics rise twice faster as
weapons.
The magic level is the number of times you can use it at level I. A magic can
be used at level II in battles if you have 6 in its skill, for level III
it's 9 and level IV it's 13. The MP consumption equals the number of the level
(eg, level III magic uses 3 MP).
If you want a character to focus on magic, he should have at least 2 different
magics so when one runs out of MP, you can use the other magic, as first
levels come quickly you can use magic a decent number of times.
About elements, light and dark magic are special: light (dark) magic is weaker
during night (day) most of the time. Moreover, dark is weak against skeletons
and many other enemies (who fear greatly light), so light can be quite useful
even at low level, whereas dark is quite useless.
Summon is powerful because it attacks all ennemies and changes element at
every level, and I like wind because it has a bigger zone of effect after each
level and is always powerful, but all magics are quite useful.
Weather also affects magic, when it rains water magic becomes really scary, but
sadly I don't know any other examples, if you have more information, contact
me.

h)Useful tips
-The first answer is very often the good one, it makes you accept missions and
characters. If a random guy in a village talks to you and you have 3 choices
it is probably something not important (if he asks it everytime you talk to
him it is an useless dialogue). I always refer the first possible answer by
accept. If it's not the case I will indicate it.

-Note the locations of chests that you can't open, food, special characters,
any character that does not have the basic male or female boy/old/young man
sprite will have an use someday.

-About position, the character's place GREATLY changes his damage (up to 10
times as powerful!). I noticed that all my saves that were far enough in the
game follow the same principle: the second place is the lowest damage, the
third the highest, the fourth a bit less and the fifth between the second and
the fourth:
Place:    1    2  3  4  5
Damage: Gantt  1  4  3  2   (4 is the highest damage)
Yet, in my very first playthrough, not very far in the game, it wasn't
working: the damages were inversely proportional to the place whereas in my
last playthrough, the character in the second place always dealt low damage
(yet, I played a long time before noticing unusual high damage at the third
place). So I can only tell you to check it, and if a position seems to cause
low damage to a character, put a mage on it, as it doesn't seem to affect
magic.

-In dungeons and important places, there are many chests hidden behind the
bottom walls that you can hardly (or can't) see that often contain good items.

-Teleport takes far more days than walking. If you want to be on a special
date use teleport. If you want to be hours later just walk around.

-Battles are quite hard in the beginning, but later enemies have low FP and
deal heavy damages if your character's vitality or magic resistance is too
low, so you'd better hit quick and hard.
Don't forget that you can flee quite easily, if one character manages to flee
and all your other characters die, the runaways keep their FP while the others
get back to life with 1 FP.

-In most pubs, there are two dialogues with the barman depending if you're
talking to him like a normal person or behind the counter.

-From my experience, the rooms in the inn have nothing interesting (there is 1
exception in ths whole game I think, and it's after a long time).

-Many characters are useless: if they can't wear a weapon, their attacks will
always inflict 0 or 1 damage (perhaps not in the beginning) even if they have
high strength. Specials are also important, always try all specials. Sometimes
it can be the characters only use but often, characters with no weapon are
useless. Avoid to have more than one character that use the same type of
weapon as it will prevent one of your character to have a good weapon.

-About weapons, here is the order of strength of the last weapon:
axe>sword>club>bow>spear>claw=whip>staff
but keep in mind that best weapons of weak type of weapons are easier to find.

-For each stat (strength,agility...) there is a marriage unlockable if you
have 65 in it and if you have done the right event. It also means that some
events raise your stats, look at part XI).

V)CREATION OF THE HERO:
=======================
When you start the game, you will have to choose birthday dates, blood type
and other things like that and after you must answer the goddesses' questions.
You can refer to Shogetsu's Main Character Creation FAQ to see what each
answer do, it can be seen here:
http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/snes/file/traverse_char_create.txt
For the constellations effects, the Aries and Libra are not very useful
because there are skills that have the same effect, the Scorpio is too
dangerous and the Pisces is not very useful because you resurrect with 1FP.
The Cancer is probably more useful than the Gemini because it lasts during all
the battle, the Aquarius is one of the only healing spell of the game and the
only way to heal all your party at the same time. The Taurus and the others
like it are very powerful, more than the summon magic (except at high level
and with elementals weaknesses).
But constellations also give skills and specials:
Taurus gives Behave, a special that makes you attack all the ennemies at the
same time with your normal attack damages. Libra gives Sing, it makes defense
up on everyone except the character using it, it is a common but quite strong
special. Persuasion is a skill you're forced to have that can make flee a
monster, quite useless. Virgo gives the light special, it heals FP on one
character, it's a rare special but like you can get many healing items and you
heal after each battle, it's perhaps not that useful.
Avoid light magic, staff, bow, whip and claw skills, they are not that strong
and other characters are more useful with them. IMO, the hero should take a
sword (he automatically gets this skill) except if you want him to be a mage
in this case I suggest the wind or summon magic or the Taurus constellation
(if you make a mage, you won't need a strong weapon by the way).
In short, take Taurus or Virgo.

For the rest, avoid to have a too high karma, but you don't need to pay too
much attention to it (see karma section in basics of the game part).

VI)THE BEGINNING:
=================
1)The first village
At the beginning, you will leave your house and go into the village map. You
can visit all the houses but it's not useful, if you go back at home see 2).
First go to the bar and talk to Sonia (the pink haired girl that you named)
and accept her quest. Leave the village and on the world map, push Y to see
the event place. Go to the Pafao mountain and take all chests, there are
2 wels, a robe, a small shield, a short sword. When you reach the summit,
answer twice the first choice to take the flower. By doing so, you will have
karma+1. Go back to the village and talk to Sonia. You will have three
choices, from the guide:
"I want to become stronger" -- strength +2
"I want to become a rich man" -- Intelligence +2, wisdom +2
"Sonia wants to be a bride" -- Magic resistance +2, dexterity +2, karma-2
She will then give you a flower circle and a liquor.
Note: in any case, you can't leave the island without doing this quest.

2)Leaving the first village
Now go back to your home and Bullmore will come and you'll have to fight him.
You can't win this battle. You'll appear in Tomria cave, talk to Bullmore and
choose the first answer then the second, and you'll be able to climb. In this
cave you can find: a rod, a short bow, a spear, an axe.
Once you are outside, take the first choice to make Bullmore leave the cave.
You'll be back in the town, here you'll have to wait the day (means 8h00) and
enter your house. You'll go to sleep (note: if you didn't take the first
answer at the exit of the cave, take it here or Bullmore will kill you) and
after you will leave the town by boat.

VII)THE DISCOVERY:
==================
It's now that the game begin, you are now free to go anywhere (except you
can't go back to the first village). First go in the expert menu and put Sonia
and Bullmore in your party, go into a shop and sell your raw meat but buy
nothing. There's a save point (a statue) in a house too.
Note: If you're in June or near it you should begin to go to Terejia (see
Gantt job quest)this is the city in the South East, behind the desert.
I really advise you to read the karma section before continuing...

a)toy orchestra quest (Rirel)
Go to the North East, you will see a town named Rirel which has 5 houses. Go
in the last house and talk to the purple haired girl, Petoryushia and her
grandmother. After talk to the old man in the first house and go back to see
Petoryushia, she will show you what happened: her toy orchestra was changed
into 5 real persons that you will have to find, all over the world. They wear
red clothes and have purple hair and you just need to talk to them. One will
only come if you have already found the four others. You can take as much time
that you want for this quest, it is not needed for another quest but is needed
to have the real ending, and it makes -5 karma.
Note: as long as you are doing this quest, you can marry Petoryushia.
Position of the toys: Wastreteia, Istra, Zerail, Resera
After them, go back to Petoryusia's house and you will begin to talk with the
orchestra. Now go to Mendeln and talk to the last toy. You will be brought
back at Rirel and a toy will have fled. Go to Ifoorva and talk to him, then go
back to Rirel. The orchestra will play a music and it is the end of the quest.
You gain a -5 karma and Petoryushia's marriage disappears.

b)Nana's quest (Serent)
Go to the South in the town surrounded by a lake, Serent.
Here talk to the girl, Nana in the first house and accept her quest. She tells
you to go back at 22h00, so wait until it's the right time. When it's around
22h00, enter her house and talk to her. A guy will enter and you'll have to
fight him. He dies in seconds, and after Nana will meet a boy. This little
quest opens a marriage.

c)Library quest (South East island, West Rorend)
This is not a real quest, but there is a library West of Rorend town. To go
there, you must go South East from the first town and go to the port town.
Here takes the boat that costs 200 gold and you are brought to Rorend.
You gain 1 intelligence point for Gantt after reading each book, for a total
of +20 if you have finished bard Pavlos quest (otherwise, there is a book that
you can't read). This quest can be done at any time and it's not very
important, but you must have 60 intelligence to do the next quest.

Teleport back to the first city. Head West. There should be a town named
Wastreteia with a weapon shop, buy the weakest whip for 150 gold and equip
it to Sonia. After go to the town at North West named Kreava, in the fourth
house talk to the guy, Mitsuzo. He will tell you a little story. It will
permit to take dirty items at the museum Granbel (Wasutel town). In fact this
quest is useless. When you'll be a the museum, check the eyes and the lips,
in the room to the right after going up twice when you enter.

Head South untill you find a big city, Orufomada. Enter the first house, you
should see a black guy running outside, Sona. Leave and go to the upper right
corner of the town. Enter the sixth house during 11-15h or 17-23h, accept what
the guy says, and take the menu for 50000 gold. You will be kicked out but a
cook will talk to you before you go. It's Dempsey and he will join you and
permits you to enter the kitchen stadium (see the kitchen stadium quest for
more info).
Note:In this town, don't go the 04/21 into the house only opened during the
04/21 and 04/27 (upper right corner, third house) and don't put Dempsey in
your party, he is useless.

d)Trump family quest (Orufomada, 60 intelligence, minimum 60 karma, 1000 gold)
PS: To have 60 or more intelligence, see the library quest
PS2:See your karma number with an action replay before doing this quest or you
will have to try many times to have a karma of 60 (7E0B38xx, xx is the value)
-First I list how the quest happens: (save before doing anything anyway)
In Orufomada casino, talk to the purple haired boy:
1)You need 1000 gold and at least 50 karma or nothing happens.
2)Gantt plays a card game with the Trump family, if Gantt has 60 intelligence
or more there will be an event otherwise you will lose 100 gold and nothing
happens.
3)If karma is 60 or more, there will be a choice, accept and the Trump family
joins. But if karma is UNDER 60 (so between 50 and 60), the Trump family will
leave and they will NEVER join and you will NEVER be able to see the true end.
-Now I list the way to make karma go up in seconds:
At South of this town, there is a quest place named Exburn Castle. Enter the
castle and you will see many chests. For each chest you take, you have
karma +1 for a total of +7 karma. If it's not enough, go to Wermmend bar and
talk to the barman from behind the counter, he will propose alcohol. If you're
less than 20 years old, it will raise your karma by 1 each time you drink and
it costs only 10 gold.
-To have 1000 golds, sell items: most are useless. Otherwise, you can try to
get Poporon or Bortel (can steal money, against strong enemies he can steal
1000 gold).
-Eventually, you will have 5 new characters, one with the sing ability
(Diamond), and some with strong specials: Heart has romantic (makes attack up
on party), Club has knife (can kill in one hit), Spade has weak point (lower
defense). Diamond is not worth it, Sonia is stronger and I don't even think
Sonia is that useful.
Anyway, you don't need to make your party now but you must try to have the
lowest karma possible.

Now leave the town and enter the screen to the left in Wasutel town.

e)Poporon quest (Wasutel)
In Wasutel, go into the museum (big building opened only between 8h00-17h00).
Always go up, and you will meet a little girl surrounded by two guys, Poporon.
Choose the second answer (otherwise you have +1karma) and then you will be in
her house. Choose the first answer to accept her quest and have -1 karma. Now
just wait until it's 19h00 and talk to Poporon, she will bring you inside the
museum. Just go back where you find her and the quest is finished.
You will be back at her home and she will ask to join you, accept.

Poporon is a thief, she will be useful to make money. At the shop of Wasutel,
buy 5 scale armors (150 gold each) but don't go under 200 gold.
If you have talked to Mitsuzo in Kreava, you can get the dirty items in the
museum they're in the room to the right just before where Poporon was, I
repeat this quest is useless. After that, you can leave.

At this point, you can begin many quests.
There is the kitchen stadium at the north if you're between september 27 and
october 6, but it will costs 500 gold to begin it so it's better to forget it
now. On the world map, go the East back where you were at the beginning. It
would be better if when you arrive you are in june to go to Terejia (see
Gantt job quest). If it's not the case, head East towards Rozernu, a port
city. There, buy bucklers in the armor shop for 5 persons (25 gold each) and
take a boat for 200 gold to go to the island. You arrive at Horft. In the
park, you will see Sona run. Leave the town.

f)Charan and Poran quest (Sartan)
Go to the West, enter Sartan town, inside go to the bar and talk to the green
witch, Pumpkin. She will ask you to find her two pink haired little girls,
Charan and Poran and you will have -1 karma. You can find one of them in a
park of one of the three towns of the island, depending of the day.
From the guide:
Horft Park  1-7-13-19-25-31(CHARAN)  4-10-16-22-28 (PORAN)
Sartan Park 2-8-14-20-26   (CHARAN)  5-11-17-23-29 (PORAN)
Istra Park  3-9-15-21-27   (CHARAN)  6-12-18-24-30 (PORAN)
Charan has blue eyes, one ponytail and is a magician, whereas Poran has two
ponytails and is a fighter (I really suggest to take Charan, she is your only
useful mage). They both have great specials: cry to lower defense and attack
to all enemies, and dance to make bad status on all enemies. You can choose
your character, whatever the choice you will be given the location of Waba's
cave on your map. Now you have to choose your party, put Bullmore and Charan
if you have her, avoid Diamond, Dempsey, Sonia (weak magic and there are
better fighters) and Joker (he has no weapon). Poporon is useful to make money
in the cave. If you want to buy equipments teleport to Rozernu(swords, axes,
spears, bows) or Terejia (rod and clubs). You can go back after entering the
cave to buy better weapons if you want.
Now enter the cave. There are only weak bats or eggs with tentacles that use
magic, very effective on Bullmore. You can steal quick nut (sells for 50 gold)
from the eggs. Check under the walls for hidden chests. You can find two
erixers, a high erixer, a flame shield, a flame sword, a dark robe and five
wel plus.
Eventually, you will find a dragon, Waba. It's the boss and he's powerful. The
easy way to beat him is to use Charan's cry 2-3 turns to lower his defense and
make his attacks inflict near to no damages. You can also use Sonia's sing to
raise your party's defense except Sonia's. Weak point and Romantic work too.
Otherwise you can try a normal fight, in that case you had better have taken
the hidden flame sword and shield and raised a little your skills, buying good
weapons is also a good idea, and level II magic inflicts heavy damages
sometimes.
When you have beaten the dragon, Charan or Poran will join you. Leave the cave
and go back to Sartan bar, Charan and Poran will indicate the position of
their home. Go there, take all the chests in the house and leave. You find a
hidden thunder axe, a flame mail, a wind spear, 5 bombs and scorpion tails, a
cross rod and 3 holy waters.
When you leave, the pink haired girls will ask to join you, accept. You will
also earn -5 karma.
PS: This quest opens another one year after it is completed.

VIII)SHORT QUESTS:
==================
The following quests are short quests with generally no battles, that require
special dates and that are not very important but are necessary. You are not
forced to do them now, but I advise you to do the Saihate construction quest
quickly. The kitchen stadium quest is also a collection quest, so it can be
useful to start it early to collect the food during other quests.
Otherwise, you can see the part IX.

g)Homekeeper Collector quest*(Roberu)
In the first house of Roberu, there is a collector that can give you items for
money, most items are useless but there are some other bonuses. There is no
way to know when the collector will propose you to buy an item, so just check
sometimes. The second item makes karma -2 so it is quite interesting.
The first time he gives you 100 for a wel, the second time it costs 300 and
makes karma -2,  after it is 600, 1000, 4000 and eventually 12000 for an
Angelus, the strongest staff that you will probably already possess for a long
time. This quest is not needed for the real end.

h)Saihate construction quest (Saihate)
If you're in Saihate town (middle of the South island) when it's not winter,
enter the road left of the two fields. Just accept all the time, one week
passes and you appear inside a house. Just talk to the guy and accept, then
accept what Sonia say and offer 500 gold when you have the choice, if you
don't you can't see the real end. Normally it should make a statue of Gantt
appear. A bad character, Hokkamur, joins you, and four years after a new quest
is opened in this village.

i)Saihate festival (Saihate, four years after Saihate construction quest)
This is not a real quest, but near four years after you contributed with 500
gold, enter the field where you offered money. You should see a lot of people,
but if it's really after four years you see your statue directly when you
enter and it looks like a funfair. At the limit to the right, there is a guy
who sells color balls, talk him and Pipi Papa reacts and take an item, the
cable. There is also a marriage to unlock if you talk to everyone in the
funfair, and by going in the third house in the town and talking to a guy, you
can be offered some vegetables the 16 April (nothing important).

j)Gantt job quest (Terejia, in June)
This quest appears only if you go in June to Terejia's bar after 18h00.
Here talk to the barman and he will make you serve the customers. Just talk to
a guy, remember what he says, talk to the barman, choose the drink the guy
said and take it to the guy. Repeat this for every person in the bar. Normally
in the end you should get 100 gold, if you receive less you failed the quest
and you will have to start over the next day. This quest opens the next one,
the mistress dance quest.

k)Mistress Dance quest (Wermmend, after Gantt job quest, 08/18 to 09/17)
After having completed perfectly Gantt job quest, go to Wermmend between
August 18 and September 17. Talk to the guy in the right part of the bar. He
will tell you to come in the house just at the North of the city the 09/18 at
8h00. After a small event, you will have to fight a boss. He has a good
defense but does not inflict much damages, he shouldn't be a problem. If you
have difficulties use cry special. After beating the boss, the thief Carnegie,
the woman you just met, Genevieve, joins you.

l)Kitchen stadium quest (Dempsey joined, 09/27 to 10/06)
First, you need the cook Dempsey in your party. If you don't have him go to
Orufomada, in the upper right corner of the town. Enter the sixth house during
11-15h or 17-23h, accept what the guy says, and take the menu for 50000 gold.
You will be kicked out but a cook will talk to you before you go. It's Dempsey
and he joins you. Now go the North West limit of the world map, there is a
quest place there (you can see it on your map at any time of the game) between
the 09/27 and 10/06. Here you have a little discussion with the girls and they
give you a Food List. Now go to the town just to the East, Biterge. In the
last house, go upstairs and talk to the scientific. He sells you an ice cooler
for 500 gold, it permits to take food! To participate to the Kitchen challenge
you need 5 pieces of food but if you really want to win, you need all 10
pieces of food, you can do it only once so wait until you have collected
everything. You can take as much time as you wish to complete this quest, but
you need to be the 10/07 in order to participate.
Positon of food: Pafao mountain, Renmel and Daril town, Water dragon cave,
three at the Illusion forest, field of Saihate in July and September, Tamale
mountain
When you go back the 10/07, there will be a small event and depending if you
have taken all the food parts or not, you will win 10000 gold.

m)Bumbu quest (any town the first day of the month, after year 4)
A quest that can be done at any town, the first day of the month after the
year 4 enter a town and Bumbu appears (a little boy with bees) and joins.

f')Sona the runner quest (Koto, after seeing Sona five times)
If you saw Sona (black skinned guy who is running when you enter some places)
5 times, in Orufomada, Horft park, Water Dragon cave, Illusion forest and
Tamale mountain, go to Koto's inn in the first room and you will see Sona.
Talk to him and he joins you.
In Dotokia, there's a special dialogue with a woman, but it is useless.

IX)THE REAL FIGHT:
==================
Now you have a real party, with all sorts of characters. I suggest to always
take a warrior like Bullmore and a wizard like Charan, the steal ability will
not be very useful for long but Poporon can do nice damages, so it's all up to
you for the party. You don't have a specific order for what to do next, but I
suggest a general order (you can do many quests at the same time, so if you
can't beat a boss for example just go on an another quest and come back later)
Note: You can buy at any time a Carriage in Koto's stable for 8000 gold, it
makes Gantt walks faster on the world map.
Note 2:If it rains when you're near the middle South island, go to Koto in the
third house and talk to the guy. You will have a new character and a new
place. I put it here because it doesn't rain often, see Tamale mountain quest
for informations.

n)Indians quest (Moonlake)
Teleport to Terejia, head West and enter Moonlake city.
Go into the last house and talk to the woman and say the first answer. Then
talk to the guy twice and he gives to you the Aigrette. Go into the fourth
house and talk to the guy there, he shows you the location of Jible cave. The
enemies are the same as the ones in Waba's cave there. You can find 3 wel +,
an erixer, a wing bow, a mega axe and an item for Pipi Papa (can't be taken
for now). You will quickly enter ,in another screen, talk to Indians there and
you must fight two of them (very easy battles). After always take the first
choice, leave the cave and answer the first choice to the children, unless you
want +2 karma and help the white men. Then just wander in the desert (south
east part) and you will find the crystal (FINDOUT message appears).
Choose the second answer to give the crystal to the Indians, it will open the
doorsto an Indian city South West of the desert or you can try the first one,
you'll get 1000 gold but you will never be able to visit the Indian city (I
don't know if it is important for the ending, but the city has nothing special
as far as I know, yet 1000 gold isn't important either).

o)Skeleton quest (South Rasutem, Bonn cave)
From the Indian city, head West and go to the first mountain at the North.
Otherwise you can come from Rasutem, go to the South and you will find
very easily the entrance. It's located in the middle of the line peak/green
plain. You will enter Bonn cave, just walk through. At the end you will be
warped in a strange place, the skeleton town. Enter the first house and talk
to the dinosaur, he will keep one of your characters (Sonia or Bullmore) and
explain his story, he lost his child in the river. Leave the house and go in
the river, you will come back to the world map, on the South East island. Go
to the nearest village to the East (you can't enter any other towns anyway)
and enter the museum. You will immediately see a little dinausor, just talk to
him, come back to the skeleton town and talk to his father. You will get back
your character. Now you can talk to the little dinausor (named Baribari) to
make him join you. You can also get the chest now, also in the third house of
the town you can use the bones to make a skeleton appear (useless but funny).
This quest opens Bontarou quest.

Now leave the town and go back to the world map.

p)Bontarou quest (Cyunlt, after Skeleton quest)
Just teleport back to Cyulnt, the town with Tillma museum (where there was the
dinausor) and go up until you see a robot (the museum is now only opened at
night). Sometimes, Charan and Poran react (if they don't, try to leave and
come back or try again the next day). The robot Bontarou joins you and if you
have the three parts (A B C parts) he will automatically make the Speaker, a
very important item. If you don't have them now, he will make it when you'll
find the last part.

q)Water dragon quest (Farrel)
First go to Farrel town (it's located at the South West of Exburn castle, a
quest place in the South that appears on your map when you start the game)
into the inn. There is a piece of paper on the wall, read it and go the Exburn
castle in the North East (it's indicated on your map). In the castle, do NOT
take any chests or your karma will raise by 1 each time. Go upstairs and talk
to the King, accept his quest and now in the South you can take a boat for the
Water Dragon Island (South of Farrel, a little house on the world map) and
then go up to enter a cave. Inside, you should see again Sona run, and also
a save statue that heal all your FP and magic! In the cave there are quite
strong enemies, but they give you a lot of money after the battle. There is
also a food item (you can't take it unless you have the ice cooler and have
begun the kitchen stadium quest), a chest with the angelus inside, the most
powerful staff, 5 nakey gus, an ice blade, 2 high erixers, 3 poise lerise, a
snake rod, 3 freeze scales and 5 wel plus.
This dungeon is not very long and you will eventually find the water dragon.
This is the boss and he's really powerful. You can try the usual ways to beat
him (cry, sing, romantic... specials), and actually, I doubt you can remove
him more than 1 FP per attack if you don't. He has a very high defense,
1712 FP, is immune to fire, water and light magic but fears wind and dark
magic, so get at least 5 wind magic for Charan to use the level II that
inflicts 150-200 damages, but it's not enough at all. He has 4 attacks, a
physical hit (can kill most characters in one hit), a single water spell and
2 water spells that hurt everyone, so I hope your characters have more than 50
magic resistance, otherwise they'll die quickly. The easiest way is to use
weak point special, because if it succeeds, all your characters will remove
over 100 FP and all dragon's attacks will be considerably weaker. If you
can't, use nukey gus and some stat boosts or drops specials during the first
turn, and try to fight. You can still leave the cave and come back later if
you can't beat him (having 8 in wind magic, a stock of erixers and wel plus
and getting armors that raise your magic resistance can help).
After beating the dragon, DON'T TAKE THE BEAUTIFUL SCALE!! Leave the cave. If
you take it, you won't be able to finish the game. Go see the king, he will
reward you with 10000 gold but you still won't be able to take the chests...
Go to the underground of the castle, you should see two soldiers talking. The
old one, Bronkin, joins you. Besides, if you have a Diamond, she will open a
chest upstairs with her song, it contains the B part (upper left chest, it
does not raise karma).
When you leave the castle, you are asked if you want to pay 10 gold for a wel.

r)Captain Batyan quest (Merren, 10 characters in your party needed)
Go in Merren town if you have at least 10 characters in your party, talk to
the townsfolk and go to the port. If you have the 10 characters, the captain
Batyan will join you and you will take control of the boat! You can visit a
small part of sea (it is not the same map as the world map) where you can find
a whirlpool. Enter it and you will be in a cave with some fishmen enemies
not very strong. Follow the path and you will get into a town. Take all the
chests (air slash and trident, best claw and spear, and 3 high erixers) and in
a house Batyan will talk to a fishman, and ask you something. Choose the first
answer (note: if you take the second answer, then the second or the third and
the second again, you will have to fight Batyan and you will stupidly miss the
end) and you gain -5 karma. Batyan permanently leaves the party here.
Leave the house and wait until it's 11h00 near when you entered the cave and
instead of a message that says you can't leave, you will appear on the sea and
a boat will bring you back to Merren.

s)Illusion forest quest(Fatisoma)
I suggest to begin the Kitchen Stadium quest before going into the forest, as
it's mainly a place to find food parts.
Go into Fatisoma city (on the South East Island, the middle city in the West).
Talk to the barman from behind the counter, he will show you the forest's
place on your map. Go there, after a small chat, go up a screen and you will
appear in a screen with 4 exits that constitute all the forest (PS: you will
also see Sona run). At this point your location is H-10 (A,B,...,P is from
left to right; 1,2,...,16 is from down to up), to leave this forest you must
stabd on this case and go down. There are three pieces of food (useless if
you haven't begun the Kitchen Stadium), a character and a chest in the forest.
The forest is a 16X16 square, without end (A-1 is to the right of A-16).
The chest is in the screen A-1, the character Benhorumu in D-8, the mamone in
A-3,the appoli in K-13, the naful in N-16.
The chest contains a certificate, which means you finished the forest quest.
When you have all that you want, go in H-10 and go down and you will return at
the entrance. Benhorumu joins the party if you have found him.

t)Bard Pavlos quest (Sitsu, water dragon and captain Batyan quest finished)
Go into Sitsu's bar and you should see a pink haired guy (except if you have
more than 70 karma). Talk to him and you will be brought in the tower to the
South West of the city. It is a dungeon you can't quit, with many stairs.
Enemies usually attack everyone in a single attack, so beware. There is a
paper on the wall that tells you to count the appearance of the hearts and
diamonds, don't take the door behind it but the one to the right. You can find
an unique item in a chest, the C part so don't forget it. After come back near
the paper and take the door. At the third stair there is a hole that blocks
the way but in fact it has an invisible floor. At the third square from the
upper wall, go into the hole and you won't fall, go to the right twice then go
up and then go right three times. After there will be a closed door and four
switches (black and white hearts and diamonds), you must put up the symbol
which appeared the more and put down the one that appeared the less often.
The solution is to put white diamond up and black diamond down.
At the summit just talk to the girl, Ririka and go back to the enter of the
tower. The pink haired bard, Pavlos, joins you. He's as useful in battles as
Gilbert in FFIV, but he has the sing ability.

u)Pumpkin quest (Rozernu, 1 year after Charan and Poran joined)
If Charan and Poran joined more than one year ago, Pumpkin (their mother the
green witch) will appear at Rozernu's bar. Talk to her and accept her quest and
she will give you a crystal and you will have -2 karma. She asks you to find
the old Rukiman. Go to the casino at Orufomada and talk to the old guy.
Pumpkin appears and gives to you the Balloon, an unique item you can use on
the world map by pressing SELECT, it is a flying machine that follows the
wind.
Note: After this quest, you can make Pumpkin join, see Guregorio's treasure
quest.

v)Sky Ship quest (Bontarou joined, Balloon obtained, Pumpkin quest)
Go to Cizan city (port town in the South East island), stay outside the town.
You can see a house on a small island, it's there that you must go. Wait until
the wind has the good direction and enter the balloon. Press select to stop
the balloon near the house. Inside it, there is an old scientific, talk to him
and Bontarou recognizes him, it's his creator! You will have a choice of
answers at a moment, answer the SECOND choice or you will have +10 karma and
prevent the real end. You will receive the Sky Ship, the ultimate transport
machine! By pressing SELECT on the world map, you will enter the Sky Ship and
you will be able to go anywhere in a very short time.
Note: If you always take the Sky Ship, you will probably miss many random
quest places.

w)Gantt's birthday quest*(Mia, need the Sky Ship, must be the hero's birthday)
Every year, go into Mia's bar (the lost town on the small South West Island)
if it's the hero's birthday. In the bar talk to everyone and you will receive
a +2 status bonus each year, randomly. It means you can get a +4 agi in 3
years. If you followed my guide, you can get here before the year 2. Now you
can waste time because there is no others time limits and some quests appear
on the fourth or fifth year, so teleport a lot.

x)Guregorio's treasure quest*(South Rottelheim, Pumpkin quest, under 35 karma)
Go to the small house to the South of Rottelheim and talk to the guy in the
middle. To open the first door, you need to have finished Pumpkin quest. The
characters say you need a strong witch to open the door, so go to Charan and
Poran's house and talk to Pumpkin. She teleports you back at Guregorio's house,
opens the door and joins you.
Now you need under 35 karma (if you followed my guide you have 41), but Pumpkin
joins you and she is an awesome magic user: she has 9 in every magic!
Now you can see a guard in front of the second door. To enter, you need to
talk to him while having less than 35 karma and as it's impossible to know
exactly your karma, just try to talk to him. As I said, you shouldn't have
enough karma yet but I will however go on as if you had enough.
Enter the second door and there will be three fights, use your best magics and
you will win quickly. Take the chest and you will receive an armor, a shield,
a bow and the Hyper Shoes! By pressing R, Gantt runs!

y)Water dragon revival quest (1 month after water dragon killed, no scale)
One month after killing the water dragon and if you didn't take the scale,
come back in the water dragon cave and the water dragon is back. He asks a
question, tell him the second answer to have -1 karma. He then shows you the
location of the Wonderu mountain, your next location and he gives you the Aqua
Bell. Once you're there you can see a goddess that talks to you and tells you
to find the 12 goddesses statue and gives you the Magic potion. Go back to the
cave and give the potion to the dragon, he gives you the dragon sword, armor
and buckler!

z)the 12 goddesses statue quest (begins during the Water dragon revival quest)
When you are in the Wonderu mountain during the water dragon revival quest,
the goddess explains that you must search for the goddesses statues all around
the world, even if they're not indicated on your map before you find them.
In few words, you will have to walk all around the world and sometimes you
will have a FINDOUT message and will enter a screen with a goddess statue,
take the first choice to pray. There is a good map available on gamefaqs.
Once you found all the statues, if your karma is under 40 Gantt sees the
goddesses, they will propose you to stop your quest. Refuse (second answer)
except if you want to see the credits. Gantt is teleported back to the statue,
after a small chat he leaves the statue and you can't enter anymore the
statues locations.

a')Bobossam desert quest (West Dokotia, Charan and Poran)
From Dokotia, go to the West near the limit of the desert there. Walk around
and you will enter the desert. Inside a girl ghost talks to you, then you can
move normally. This desert is a dungeon with sandstorms that teleport you
else where the desert, and quicksands that work as moving walkways. You can
find in this desert a thining mail (great armor) 10 wel plus, a carmain spear,
a heal staff, 5 seimedals, 3 quick nuts, and a terror blade. The goal in this
desert is to find the five sandstorms (one just left of the entrance, one
right of the entrance near surrounded by quicksands, then you're forced to
take another one, a fourth one near the bottom right corner, and the last one
is in the bottom part of the desert, near a chest), which will eventually warp
you into a cave.
There are many interesting items in this cave:, a reheal armor (great armor),
a hell axe (very good), a death size (good club), a murder claw, 10 stones and
2 erixers. At the top right part of the second screen there is the boss, which
looks like the Death. There are 3 different outcomes:
-if you use holy water, the battle ends and you get a paul armor (recommended)
-if you kill him the usual way, you get an alraune sword (not great)
-if you use persuasion skill and succeed, the girl ghost get killed and you
must restart the battle, without getting anything! A plant then appears in the
desert, but it is useless as far as I know.

b')Leslie Wall quest (Ifoorva, many quests)
To be able to do this quest, you must have finished the Illusion forest, Water
dragon, mistress dance and Bobossam desert quests. Go to Ifoorva in the last
house there is Siemei, a guy with a green hat. Talk to him and he proposes
you to climb a mountain, accept and you're teleported to Leslie Wall.
In this place there is only a rope that makes you lose FP when you climb it.
If your FP goes to 1, you fall and you will have to climb it again. Note that
each time you fall your FP maximum raises a little which permits Gantt to have
the maximum FP possible. When you climb the rope entirely, Siemei joins you,
shows you the position of the Bonaparu mountain and makes you leave Leslie
Wall. Reenter and open the chest, there is the A part inside! Note that Pavlos
must have joined you to open the chest. At this point you should have the
three parts and Bontarou makes the Speaker!

c')Pipi Papa quest (Wonderu mountain, Speaker, Charan and Poran)
Go to the Wonderu mountain (where you were given the goddesses statues quest)
and head to the summit. There, Charan and Poran take the Speaker and have fun
with it, suddenly the party sees something coming from the sky fall! When you
try to leave the mountain, there is the choice to go to the crash spot (second
answer). Here an alien begins to talk to you in an incomprehensible language.
It is Pipi Papa and he joins you to find a lot of items to be able to build a
translator. You remember all the chests that Gantt close just after opening
them saying the items inside are useless? You must take them all and also find
some items by searching in special places.... When you have found them all,
come back to the crash spot and Pipi Papa makes the translator.
Anyway, you can't finish this quest before year 4.
Locations of the translator parts:      Toothed Wheel: Tamale Mountain cave
Cable: Saihate festival, after 4 years  Bolt: Ifoorva
Gom-belt: Krenttsa                      Antenna: Babirushia Mountain
Gear: Tamale Mountain machine           Spring: Bobossam Desert
Plug: Granbel museum (Wasutel)          Vacuum tube: Pumpkin's Mansion
Pomp: Horft park                        Monitor: Jible Cave
Hook: Ririka Tower                      Dial plate: Bonaparu Mountain

d')Bonaparu mountain quest (North West Zerail, Leslie wall quest finished)
This is the mountain Siemei shows you after climbing the Leslie Wall, it is
located to the North West of Zerail on the North East island.
This mountain is a quite big dungeon with enemies immune to water magic. It is
composed of two main screens and a third where you finish the quest. This
place is not very hard because there is a healing statue near the entrance of
the second screen. Have in mind there are good equipments and a part of the
translator in this mountain. When you arrive at the third screen, Siemei talks
to you and you gain -15 karma!! At this point you probably have a low enough
karma to do Guregorio's treasure quest.

e')Tamale mountain quest (Koto, must be raining)
While it's raining, go on the middle South island and enter the upper city
with the port, Koto. Enter the third house and talk to the old guy. He gives
the Treasure Map, Tamale mountain location on your map and Bortel joins you.
It's on the mainland, West of Homra town. This is a little mountain with few
enemies, but there is a hidden entrance behind a waterfall. You can find a
ground shield, colenceteless, great bow, oragamo (food) and 2 parts for Pipi
Papa. When you enter the mountain, you see Sona run. Behind the door in this
cave, there are three scientifics you must fight. They use change status
skills, but they have really few FP, so it's no problem.
You can check the computer, Pipi Papa will find an item. There is also another
part in a chest outside. After taking those items, there is nothing more to
do. You gain a -2 karma bonus in this mountain.

g')Mongoley Mansion quest (Istra, after 4 years)
To begin this quest, it must be after your fourth birthday (on year 4, after
Gantt's birthday). Go to Istra in the left screen of the city, enter the last
house and talks to the guy there. It will open the way to Mongoley Mansion,
and two guys, Shoren and Ryan. In this dungeon, you lose characters each time
you enter a room. The first thing you should do is to go upstairs inside the
first room to the left. Try to leave it and Shoren and Ryan talk, go near the
wall and Gantt reacts. After that, both characters join. If one already
joined, load your save because you MUST get both characters here otherwise one
will never join. Then just visit every room (there are two battles in the
upper rooms upstairs, by the way it's by going there that you can lose Ryan or
Shoren for good). Then go near the broken stairs upstairs and you are
teleported in front of a vampire, that you must fight alone. He has only three
attacks: a simple physical attack that does hardly any damage, a quite strong
fire magic (around 20FP) and a powerful dark magic (around 40FP). Use healing
items to have more than half of your FP all the fight along and the vampire
shouldn't be a big problem.
After this battle, you leave the mansion, make sure to have Ryan and Shoren.
Go see the guy that gave you this quest, and you gain -5 karma.

h')El Dorado quest (Babirushia mountain, 09/13, Magic Torch, Benhorumu)
To do this quest, you need Benhorumu or the translator. There is a difference
near the end of the quest depending if you have the translator or not. More
accurately, if you have the translator you will find a good axe (not the best
of the game) and few more battles, but you'll probably have to wait before
doing this quest as getting the translator is quite long.
You also need the Magic Torch (found in Wonderu Mountain) and to talk to
everyone in Sumenta town. When it's the 13 september, go to the mountain North
West of Sumenta, in the inferior part of the mountain where there are no trees
there is the entrance of Babirushia Mountain. There are many chests there and
enemies shouldn't be a problem at this point of the game. If it's the right
day (09/13), there is a door where there is usually a wall (an empty grass
place with two bushes that leads to nothing). You need the Magic Torch to open
this door and in more, you need to have Benhorumu or the translator.
After you just have to follow a way in the cave and you arrive in El Dorado,
the gold city. The villagers talk differently there, they use the same alpha-
bet as us (they say "AMXD" for example instead of Japanese characters) unless
you have the translator. In the town talk to the dog to the right and take the
first choice, it's not really important but it will give an useless unique
item later. Then go to the castle in the North part of the city and continue
to go up until you meet the queen. She talks to you and you are brought in a
room. Leave it and you can go to sleep in the room to the right (it makes the
quest continue) or you can go to the room on the left downstairs and try to
open the door. Poporon will propose her help, if you accept you have +1 karma
but in any case, you can't open the door, so just go to the sleep.
During the night, some guards bring you to the queen and you must fight a big
bird, immune to the wind. He's very weak against magic, but does not fear much
physical attacks. He can use a wind magic against one character (makes 1
damage), against the party (around 20 damages) or a strong physical attack.
Use level III magic to finish him quickly. Then, you are brought in a cave if
you have the translator or you are warped outside if you don't.
In the cave, there are few chests and if you go up you meet again the bird,
use the same technic to beat him. Then you are teleported outside and in any
case, Bebel and Rinkle join, they have the light special (heal FP) so they're
the only healers of the game, however it's not that great.
You also gain -2 karma and if you have talked to the dog, you should find a
gold necklace if you walk near the upper bush.

i')Marf Tribe sub quest*(Barol, 11/04, El Dorado quest)
You don't really need to finish the previous quest to do this one, but if you
don't this quest will be useless. When you're in November the 4th, go to Barol
and sleep in the inn, if you sleep long enough (take a room for 50 gold) to be
the 11/05, you will see someone enter the inn. Take the first choice to all
questions and you are brought in Marf tribe village. Here talk to the guy in
the house (there is only one opened), then go see the water (screen above) and
Bebel and Rinkle begin to talk. After there is nothing more to do, you can
leave but remember that you won't be able to enter again after a year.
Personally I didn't find any interest in this quest, except learning things
about characters (if you don't read Japanese, it's useless).

j')Holy Spirit Kingdom quest (South Dezer, after 5 years, Speaker, Carriage)
For this quest, you need to wait 5 years, talk to everyone in Dezer, have
Charan, Poran, Poporon and Bronkin in your party, the Carriage (bought in
Koto) and the speaker. After that, wander South of Dezer until you find a door
(it shouldn't be too long, this aera is small). After a small chat, you are
teleported in the Holy Spirit Kingdom, near a castle: the Fairy Castle. Note
that here you move normally, instead of indicating a destination.
Here is a map of the kingdom: you appear near a castle, the Fairy Castle. If
you go to the West, then North when you meet the mountains and head West as
soon as you can, you will see a small path to the South. There is a tower
there. If you go to the North-West instead you will see a cave.
North of the castle there is a village and north of the village there is a
small castle. From there if you go to the North West you can see a shrine
between the mountains.
Enter the castle (there is a save and heal statue there), talk to the king,
then to the guy on his left and to the king again. He gives you the Hero
Certificate, a fairy joins you, Lil, and Charan and Poran are kidnapped.
Leave and head North, in the town, talk to the old woman then go to the castle
North of here. In this castle there are only few enemies, it shouldn't be a
problem (except if Charan and Poran were in your party...). Just go see the
woman in jail and make her escape, visit her cell to find a chest. Leave and
go to the North West and enter the shrine. After go to the cave to the South
and find the spring inside. You are given the most powerful sword by a dragon.
Leave, you will enter a small battle then head South and enter the tower.
You fight again the demon, then just follow the way through the tower until
you find Charan, Poran and the kidnapper. You must fight him twice, just use
the usual boss technic, the last sword and magics and he won't last long, he
is not very powerful. Charan and Poran come back in your party, and you just
have to go back to the Fairy Castle. Inside it, talk to the king and he
teleports you back to the normal world without Bronkin (he permanently leaves
the party). Note that you will never be able to go back in this kingdom again.

k')Monkey Kidnapping quest (Orufomada, 04/21, Translator)
You can begin this quest at any moment and without Translator but you must
finish it in less than 6 days and you need the Translator, so don't begin it
if you don't have the Translator.
Go to Orufomada the 04/21 in the house only opened during this date and the
04/27 (upper right corner, third house) and you will see the kidnapping of the
Carnival Queen, Reona. Go in the park of the city (opened during the same time
as the contest hall) and talk to the guy near the monkey. He indicates the
location of the Monkeys Forest, just North East of the city. The only enemies
there are apes that fear earth magic. The forest has only one screen so just
go through until you meet two monkeys blocking the way, you need the
Translator to begin the battle and open the way. Then go up and you meet the
gorilla, Ukhirta. Talk to him and you gain -1 karma. Then go back in Oru-
fomada's park and talk to the monkey. Then go talk again to Ukhirta, you have
a choice that doesn't matter and finally go back to the contest hall. Here
Sonia sings and gives you an air robe (all that for that...).
You have  finished the quest, now go talk again Ukhirta and he joins you.

At this point, you should have completed all quests and have all characters
except two, Batyan and Bronkin. Marry Sonia and after the usual chat with the
characters you met during the game, there is a supplementary thing.

XII)EQUIPMENTS:
===============
1)Weapons:
----------
Here's a weapon ranking for strength bonus, the * indicates the most powerful
weapon of its kind. Strangely, the wispleune is after the trident in your
inventory, but it's weaker in every point.
About the kinds, spears aren't that great at all: the last spear is weak, and
the +10 agi bonus can be obtained with the Agries (2nd best axe) and Thor
Hammer (2nd best club) that are both more powerful! Staves are reseved to
mages (that don't need to attack anyway). The best weapon is an axe.

XIV)CREDITS/THANKS:
===================
First big thanks to Shogetsu for many many things: giving me envy to play
this awesome game, for helping me many times, translating some screenshots,
for his guides (the codes and main character creation), for sending me the
guide translated, for the ASCII and other things I forget.

Thanks to ritchie, he sent the guide to Shogetsu and perhaps other things I
don't know.

Thanks to the guide, for some useful informations: karma system, unlocking
quests that need a special day of the year, marriage help, goddesses statue
locations, Saihate reconstruction part, the things I copied from it (Charan
and Poran appearance, Pofao mountain flower effect).
It was a great help, even if there are many errors and was difficult to
understand.
It can be found here: http://www7.plala.or.jp/mekky/traverse.html

Thanks to Nebula, for telling me what was lacking in my guide. It's also one
of the rare person who played Traverse:S&P.

Thanks to Pandora box, for making this great game.

Thanks to GameFAQs for hosting this guide.

Thanks to YnT (Yonin no Translators) for being translating Traverse:S&P.
