1. The Story
=======================================================================
=======================================================================
Spider-Man has been around for about 40 years now, so there's basically
no need for an explanation on Spider-Man himself. But, like every other
Spider-Man video game, this plot has it's own lead. The game starts off
with all of our favorite super-hero theme song. It then shows a door
breaking open, and then it shows Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Professor
Smythe, and the Alien Spider Slayer, and they make that stupid, annoying
villian laugh that you're just going to have to get used to. Now, it
shows New York City blowing up. Then Spider-Man drops down and says...
I THOUGHT RAVENCROFT WOULD BE STRONG ENOUGH TO HOLD THE LIKES OF...
SMYTHE, DOC OCK AND GREEN GOBLIN...GUESS I WAS WRONG!
I BETTER GET TO WORK KICKING SOME VILLIAN BUTT BEFORE THEY WRECK MY
CITY!
..Anyways, that's the story. Four bad guys break out of jail (well he
only mentions three because one isn't classified as HUMAN) and Spider-
Man must stop them. So...off to kicking some villian butt!

AVERAGE LEVEL
Part 1: Oh look, you're big aren't you? Playing the easiest level,
right? Well, this happens to be my favorite also. Oh well. We all have
flaws. Start off by running right, and when you see a Sworded Red
Soldier, jump up and kick him. If you did a somersault flying kick,
he'll be dead. Good. Next, jump up into the background and run up the
stairs. Jump out of the stairway and run right to get webbing. Run left
and there'll be a a Flying Falcon. I call it this, because it reminds me
of a bird. You can call it whatever you please. Anyways, two flying
kicks and this baby will fall and blow up. If you had any damage done,
run left to get a Spidey health. If not, run back down the stairs. Run
right to find another Sworded Red Soldier that'll die the same way the
other one did. Keep running right and flying kick the vent. Jump into
the entrance of the vent so only that of Spidey's back foot the toe is
showing. Jump up and press L and climb up. Climb until you see yourself
and then jump after that silver Spidey. Fall down the shaft and continue
right out the vent, but right when you get out there'll be an Armed Red
Soldier, so try not to get shot and whoop him. Keep going right and web
swing over the liquid and find yourself on a table. Jump over the fire
and flying kick a Ceiling Scope so it blows up. Continue right then go
up the stairs. If you need any health or webbing (which you shouldn't)
go left. If not, continue right. Keep jumping from treadmill to
treadmill until you fall to the floor. Run right, jump on the first
treadmill, jump to the second treadmill, and jump off! Don't fall off,
beacause then you'll die. Go right.
Mini-Boss: Forget the mini-boss, it's some dumb robot. Just cling to the
wall and hold up until you go up a shaft. Then, jump left and grab that
giant Spidey head. Fall down the shaft and continue right.
Part 2: Jump over that hole and then the other hole and proceed up the
stairs. Don't even pay attention to the Flying Falcon. If you're holding
L, good. Next, leap right out of the staircase and somersault flying
kick the Armed Red Soldier and keep running right.
Part 3: Hey, an Iron Man wannabe. Beat up the Sworded Red Soldier and
continue right. See another Ceiling Scope shooting you? Might be good to
flying kick it. Ok? Ok. Next! Run right, grab the Spidey life, kill the
Armed Red Soldier, keep running right, kick the computer, grab the
Spidey health, keep running right, kill the other Armed Red Soldier, and
fall down. Phew. Now, continue LEFT. Here's a list of what the computer
will have in order. Blue grenade, webbing, green grenade. Now, watch out
for the shockers, they'll hurt. Run right when they stop. Fall down and
continue right through the level. These next computer will have health
and then webbing. Go down the stairs. If you are attacked by a Flying
Hornet, flying kick his butt four times and run before his flyer crashes
into you. Run left. Kick the Ceiling Scope, but not the computer because
it'll blow up. Continue left and when you fall there'll be a Red Baldy.
He takes three kicks, make them good. Then, continue right. Beat up the
Flying Hornet and then go down the stairs, or vice versa. But downstairs
you'll have to fight a Flying Falcon also. Don't run left, there's a
hole, so run right.
Boss: Grab the webbing. Hey! You made it to Doc Ock. Well, run right and
try to jump over him the best you can. Keep jumping up until you reach
the ceiling. Web swing over to the switch and if your swing didn't hit
it, flying kick it. Then keep web swinging in that direction until you
reach an edge which you will run left and grab a life. Now, run down to
Dr. Octopus. If he's on your left, run right without getting hit by the
laser. If you can't see him, face the laser and shoot webbing up into
his eyes. He'll be there. For the people with him on their left, just
make him follow you into the laser. When you shoot the webbing into his
eyes he'll go nuts, be careful not to get hit. Shoot webbing into his
eyes and make him hit the laser twice and he's done.

=======================================================================
AVERAGE LEVEL
Part 1: You don't want to get all fancy, so I'll make this quick. The
next three gargoyles will have webbing, green grenade, webbing. Kill the
Yellow Baldy with three kicks. Climb the yellow building on your right.
It's best to jump then cling, jump then cling, than to climb the whole
thing. When you reach the end of your yellowness, jump left onto the
building top. Jump into the background, or fight the Sworded Yellow
Soldier...then jump into the background. Walk left until you see the
opening between cement blocks and your chest is in it. Alright, in the
upper left of your screen there is a dark blue rafter. You have to jump
towards it and web swing your way to the next building. Now don't land
so far behind the cement blocks you can't see yourself or else you'll
fall. See that pole sticking out of the wall on the left? Jump onto it
and bounce your way to the very last one. You'll probably accidentally
make a blue canister explode. Well, jump onto the gray rafter and shoot
web at the blue canister so it doesn't get in your way. Need webbing?
Run and fall down. On your left, shoot the blue canister. Then run right
and grab the webbing. If you did that, jump onto the top pole and bounce
onto the gray rafter. Now, web swing your way right. That's right, go
'head, web swing. You'll probably swing into a health, good if ya need
it, who cares if ya didn't. When you reach the vertical blue rafter that
has a 12 on it, jump off your web so you'll fall on the right to it. Not
TOO far right. You'll land on an elevator. Now, go left.
Mini-Boss: Still alive? Hope you are after this. This mini-boss is the
Alien Spider Slayer. He'll swing his arms at you, so jump kick him. Then
he'll go into some crazy rolling junk. He'll roll on the ground: jump
that. Roll into the air: crouch that. Roll and bounce: jump or crouch
that depending on where you and he is. Then roll on the ground: jump
that. Then he'll shoot a fireball: dodge it. Then, repeat this three
more times until he blows up. Next, walk left and shoot web at the two
blue canisters. Keep walking left into a door.
Part 2: Run left until you see lead pipes. Jump on them and run right
under the left Armed Yellow Soldier. Cling to he ceiling. The two Armed
Yellow Soldiers will shoot eachother. Jump up there and kill the last
one. Go right and jump behind the wood. When you can JUST see some red
at the end of the wood, jump up and web swing over behind the crates.
Jump right onto a crate and fall down into the foreground, frog kick the
blue spider four times, and grab your health. Go right, and jump onto
the highest crate, then jump left onto another floor. When you see a
door in the wood, jump up into it and run left. Then jump down at the
next door. Run left, grab the webbing, jump up right and kill the blue
spider, and run right. Jump onto the crate, and look at a green
scorpion, kill him the same way you killed the blue spider. Jump onto
the next floor and run right. Fall into a hole to grab webbing and
health, then jump out of it. Run right, right into a crate. Jump up into
the background and fall into another hole. Run right and kill the Armed
Yellow Soldier, then run left, jump over the crate, and grab the silver
Spidey. Jump up into the hole above the crate and kill the two Sworded
Yellow Soldiers. Jump onto the crate, jump up, and run left. Web swing
over the lead pipe because there's a hole somewhere near the end of it.
Run left if ya need health. Now, jump onto the crate, and jump right
onto the next floor. When you get to the second orange and white striped
no-crossing majigger in the background, jump far right so you don't fall
in the hole. Crawl up the right (or left) side of this dark gray tower
and jump into the control room. Hit the switch, jump down out of it,
then jump onto the dark gray iron pipes on your left. When the thing
stops, jump up and run right. When there are two American flags under
you, you've reached the Boss.
Boss: The Tri-Spider Slayer. It's really just a green scorpion (that
you've fought before) on top of a blue spider (that you've fought
before) with a...pick...thingy on it's head which makes it "Tri." You're
a spider, it wants to slay you, it's a Tri-Spider Slayer! From it's
scorpion tail will come a missile, from it's spider head will come a
missile, and the pick will just jam down, and sometimes create
electricity. If you're lucky you'll still have the silver Spidey on.
Well this little toy takes ten flying kicks to kill so, just keep flying
kicking at it from a close close range. Since it's also "Tri" it'll blow
up in three pieces. The scorpion tail, the pick, and the scorpion
body/spider body. Watch out for the explosion. But when it's done, run
right and fall onto an extra life.

=======================================================================
AVERAGE LEVEL
Part 1: This is fun, now there is NO ONE who wants this in-depth. So I
won't make it. There are two boats you can fall on, fall on if you like.
All that's there is like...four soldiers, webbing, and health. Big deal.
Now, jump over the fencing and fall down. Run left for the extra life.
I'd also take out the Armed Green Soldier on your right. Crawl back up
to the start and START SWINGING! Watch out because there are these
bridge breaker things that could stop you from shooting web, but not to
worry. On this little journey you'll collect: health, webbing, and more
webbing. When you fall there'll be a Green Baldy that takes four kicks,
so kick him. Then grab more webbing, climb the right wall and get back
to swinging. On THIS trip you'll get: nothing...unless it's webbing,
isn't that lovely? When you fall...grab the webbing. And start swinging
again. Here you'll get health and an extra life RIGHT at the breaker
where you'll plunge but HOPEFULLY land on the life raft. I lose about an
average of 2 lives here. Well when you see the blue grenage floating
about, fall, not on the grenade, but on the left of it. You'll land and
on your right will be a giant Spidey head. Cool huh? Climb the wall and
end this torture.
=======================================================================
=======================================================================
5d. Level 4 (Coney Island)
=======================================================================
=======================================================================
AVERAGE LEVEL
Part 1: Ah, my least favorite level. Well anyways, kill the Two-Legged
Snake with three kicks. If you need health, climb that rocket for some.
Now jump up into the background because there's no need for anything in
the foreground. Crawl right so you won't get shot. Once out, grab more
health and jump onto the green tent. Run right, and when you fall, hold
down so you'll crouch without getting shot. Shoot about seven web balls
at the Fire Breather that's coming at you to kill him. Crawl right out
of there. Run right, yes that is a Burping Duck, ignore it. When you see
there is a hole infront of you and a hole above you, and a Two-Legged
Snake pass the hole infront of you and a Burping Duck pass the hole
above you, jump into the hole above you and kick the duck, and try to
get up there the best you can while beating the stupid toy. Be careful
where you lead this thing because you'll come to another Fire Breather.
Jump up into the door in the background and crawl right. When you reach
the blue grenade, jump and crawl out of there. DO NOT FALL IN THE BROKEN
ROCKET!!! This leads to The Sewer and I do NOT want to have to type a
FAQ for The Sewer everytime you're curious about a hole. So, keep
running right. When YOU fall into a hole...still keep running right, or
else you'll fall into a hole in the sand that'll kill you. Run right and
jump onto the spring.
Mini-Boss: I really do hate this level. Rhino is so easy to confuse.
Turn your back to him. When he charges at you, just jump over him enough
so you don't get hit, but don't jump too soon, and flying kick him in
the back. Quickly turn around and do this three more times. Yes, he's
stupid. On the right, jump into the vertical tunnel covered by a glass
bowl.
Part 2: Run right! Fast! Why are you reading and not running!? Alright,
I'll shut up. Just keep running until you fall, then do the same except
left. Then when you fall again, run right, but watch out for the
coasters coming in your direction. Just keep a sharp-eye and quick
reflex to jump and you'll be okay.
Part 3: Alright, grab that webbing, run and jump forward, swing, and
then land. Hopefully you'll be in alright. Now go right. Jump over the
gap. Grab this webbing. Now, this can be a...troublemaker. Run, jump,
and shoot swinging web and hope that it connects, and swing yourself
onto the next track piece. Run right and watch out for a Two-Legged
Snake, a gap, and then a Pink Clown. Grab the webbing and swing until
you hear that stupid Burping Duck burp. Drop, go right, kill the Fire
Breather, jump up to the left, and kill the Burping Duck. After another
Burping Duck, jump over a gap. Keep going left until there's another
gap. Jump to the left and you'll see a track with webbing and health on
it. Use that track to web swing over the gap. Then jump over another gap
and kill a Two-Legged Snake. Keep running left and kill a Burping Duck,
but DON'T FALL! Jump straight up and move left onto the small piece of
track. Jump over the gap you just jumped through and run right. Kill a
Burping Duck, WALK down the track and jump over the next gap, keep
walking and jump over another gap, and when Jack O'Lantern comes, jump
over that gap to. Run right and down the slope of the track.
Mini-Boss: Yes, another Mini-Boss. But there's more! Anyways. Jack
O'Lantern will have four striking positions. From the left he'll throw
one bomb, or two bombs, or from the right he'll throw two bombs, or not
do anything if you're in the right spot. Everytime you think you got him
low enough, run up the slope, jump towards Jack O'Lantern and flying
kick him. He'll take about six hits. Then go right and watch out for
gaps.
Part 4: HINT: !When a you're being hidden by a vertical tunnel, jump out
to see if any items are there! Run right and fall. Then keep running,
yes running, until you reach a box with Green Goblin's face on it. Use
it as a spring and watch out for the boxing glove and the hammer that
you'll see. Run left, and watch out for two more hammers. Yes, wave to
the baldy dude playing some kind of Spider-Villian Remix or something.
Hit Mysterio when he appears if you want. Climb the wall and jump right.
Watch out for the Fire Breather and Mysterio...and a Green Goblin head.
Then use the box witht he clown face the same way you used the other box
and for here on will use any box in this video game. Run left, watch out
for the hammer and the Green Goblin head, and fall in the hole.
Mini-Boss: If I'm right this is the last one, I promise, and he isn't
much of a Mini-Boss. When Mysterio appears, attack him. Yes, attack.
Don't run, don't stall, and stay close to him. Mysterio is the squeamish
type and will only shoot a laser at you. Big whoop. You can probably
kill him with my fashionable somersault flying kick into five frog
kicks. Yeah, he only takes six hits.
Part 5: This is the last part, I promise. Run out the clown mouth and
follow the same direction you were going. Except this time web swing
over the hole. Use the box as a spring, you know. Run pass the clown box
for a health, or use the clown box as a spring. Break the glass bowl by
jumping on it. Go down the tunnel for webbing and...I think that's it.
Well, I know for sure there's webbing and there isn't either grenades,
life, silver Spidey, or Fantastic Four members. So unless it's health,
then there's also health in there. Make your way back up onto the roof
and run right into the clowns mouth. Run right. Pass the Goblin box and
head. Kill the Fire Breather and the Two-Legged Snake. Fall, run left,
kill the Burping Duck, and run left. Run down the blue slide so you
aren't on it anymore and jump down into the foreground. Run left and
grab the silver Spidey. Jump back up to where you were and run right.
Fall, run left, fall. If somehow you're hurt (you won't be) there's a
health on the left. Run right. Jump into the tunnel, and hello Goblin.
Boss: The internationally known Green Goblin. Here's the scoop. Green
Goblin is just like the Flying Falcons from the first level. He tries
running away so he can get a good aim at you. With a couple of flying
kicks, his glider will crash. Then he'll be on his feet. Treat him the
same way. Try to stay jumping like a kangaroo or something, but stay
with him. Treat him as if he was like Rhino, so that when he ran under
you, you'd kick him in the back. With about the same amount of hits as
the glider, Green Goblin will fly into the FUN HOUSE sign and die.

=======================================================================
AVERAGE LEVEL
Part 1: Run up the escalator. Jump up and get the webbing. Web swing
right and kill the Blue Baldy with six kicks. Run up the next escalator
and beat that Blue Baldy. Next, run up the next escalator and keep
heading right. If you keep running right you'll run past the escalator
so you'll have to jump onto the escalator while running at it. Run left
and kill the Sworded Blue Soldier. Keep left and jump straight up and
move left onto the brick. Jump right, go right, jump over the gap, go
right, jump right and use web swinging and land. Climb up the wall and
jump left.
Mini-Boss: Beetle? Looks like the Green Goblin was in a hurry for work
and just threw all of his spandex and cloth on. Wait for him to get
lower enough to you and flying kick him kind of like Jack O'Lantern,
except this guy only shoots his beam when he's low enough, and he
doesn't run away, and he only takes four kicks.
Part 2: Jump left above the Armed Blue Soldier and kick him off. Keep
jumping left and so the same thing to the next Armed Blue Soldier. Climb
up the wall and grab the webbing. Land up there. Web swing across the
gap ABOVE you and then land when Vulture launches hi homing rocket. Just
crouch down. The rocket will go circles around you and explode. Run
right and jump off the edge and use web swinging with hope. Grab the
webbing. Go to the edge and jump up and use web swinging to swing up to
the next floor. Kill the Armed Blue Soldier, and hopefully Vulture maybe
while you're at it. He'll take two hits. Hit and runs, and then, hit and
dies. Jump onto the brick above where the Armed Blue Soldier was. Then
jump up right and grab the webbing. Web swing left and keep swinging
until you swing onto another floor. Jump up and right and you'll see
Chameleon.
Mini-Boss: Sad that Vulture didn't pause and stay for awhile to become a
Mini-Boss. Oh well. First the Chameleon will change into Owl. He'll jump
up and hover down with open claws or try and scratch you. Just keep
kicking him. Then he'll change into Rhino. Same stuff as before. Then
he'll change into the Level 1 Mini-Boss robot. Just stay crouched, and
when he gets close enough, frog kick him. Do this about seven times and
he'll die. Run all the way left for health. Now jump on the platform
Chameleon was on. It's an elevator.
Part 3: Run left and crawl under the statue, then jump over the spinning
creation. Kill the Armed Blue Soldier. Run all the way left and jump up
into the background so you can use the object-creation-thing as stairs.
Run and jump right onto the floor. Jump onto this OCT (object-cration-
thing) and use it as stairs like the last one. When there's an Armed
Blue Soldier shooting at you, jump right onto the floor and run and get
the health. Then run back and kick that dudes butt. He'll have a buddy,
kick his butt, too. Go back to where the first one was and web swing
over to the second one. Kick his butt off the right of the platform,
fall down, and beat him. Get back to where the first one was, use web
swinging all the way across and you'll get a giant Spidey head. This is
probably the third one I've found so far. Jump onto that dudes platform
and fall off the right. Then run left and jump far. Land, run left onto
another OCT and watch out for another Armed Blue Soldier which you'll
probably kill. Go as far up the OCT where there's a blue grenade and a
red switch. Hit the switch, and run down left. Fall through the floor
and run right. You'll see the dinosaur-head-thingy (DHT) has opened it's
mouth. Run through his mouth and jump right onto the floor. Keep running
right, fall down, crawl under a statue, keep running right, keep
running, and land on an extra life. Jump over the spinning creation and
onto the OCT. Jump up into the background, run left, grab silver Spidey,
run right, jump onto the floor, and jump up and left. Run left until
that stupid boss music plays.
Boss: Whoa! Smythe needs a haircut, huh? Jameson must be keeping some
really top secret stuff hidden in his penthouse if he has this hippie
professor guarding it. Actually, he isn't guarding it, but I found it
funny. Anyways. Here's something easy to try, but you'll be vulnerable
to a few hits. Run all the way left after jumping onto the blue steps,
and Jameson will jump out of his vehicle infront of you. But he'll be in
a Spidey-wall sandwich. Just keep frog kicking him and stuff until he
dies. It'll take about a dozen hits or so, right? I don't remember.
You'll be vulnerable to a bomb or two though, but that's harmless enough
for you to keep silver Spidey. And by the way, I think whatever happened
to Professor Smythe in prison has made him a "changed man." Final level,
up next.

AVERAGE LEVEL
Mini-Boss: All it is is Mini-Bosses. But here's MY walkthrough. Run left
and fall. Run left and open up Owl's door. Fight Owl the same way you
fought him when it was Chameleon under that gruesome face.
Mini-Boss: Keep running left until you open Lizard's door. Fight Lizard
the same way you fought the Level 1 Mini-Boss robot when it was
Chameleon under that metal face. By frog kicking when they get close.
Mini-Boss: Run to the elevator on your right and kick the switch until
it has the up light on. Web swing left and open the Level 1 Mini-Boss
robot's door. Fight him the same way you fought him when it was
Chameleon and the same way you fought Lizard.
Mini-Boss: Web swing right and kill the Sworded Black Soldier for a
health. Now, fall down. Run all the way back right until you fall again.
Run left and unleash Scorpion. Just flying kick him four times, he's mad
easy.
Not Needed Part 1: Make the elevator go up and there'll be a Jet Black
Soldier. You have to fight Jet (color) Soldiers like 6 other times on
the Amazing level, I'll just call him Part1. Fight him like you fought
Beetle. Wait for him to get low enough and flying kick him before he
fires. After four hits he'll die. He's easy. Web balls hurt him as much
as somersault flying kicks. Now go up/down to LEVEL 2A and jump left for
an extra life. Go back down on the elevator, down one level. And run
left until the next elevator. Go up and kill that annoying Armed Black
Soldier on the right. Go all the way up and left for health. Now, drop
down and run left.
Mini-Boss: Run all the way back to where the Level 1 Mini-Boss robot was
(left of LEVEL 1A) and proceed left. Fall and kill the blue spider and
the green scorpion. Go all the way up on the elevator and jump tot he
left to free Mysterio. Kick his butt like ya did before.
Mini-Boss: Drop down and run left to the next elevator. Go all the way
up (pfft, one level) and run left. Fall down and run right to fight
Rhino. Beat him like the last two times you did.
Mini-Boss: Now run right and fall in a hole. Keep right and fight the
Tri-Spider Slayer. Just did it like before with the continuous flying
kick/somesault flying kicking.
Mini-Boss: Fall down right and fight Smythe. He'll appear on your left.
Forget his door, it's like a floor down and no one cares. Just use
flying kicks to beat him.
Not Needed Part 2: Need health? Run right, kick a vent open, and grab
some. Need webbing and/or an extra life? Use the elevator to go up and
then jump right to get the webbing and the extra life which is floating
above you.
Mini-Boss: Run left and fall all the way down. Kill the Sworded Black
Soldier. Use the elevator to go up two levels. Jump right, kick the vent
in, and run right. Keep running and kill the Armed Black Soldier in
between the extra life and silver Spidey. Now, run all the way left,
kill the Sworded Black Soldier, and fall down. Run right, and fight
Alien Spider Slayer. It takes like two more hits this time around. Run
right when he blows.
Needed Part 3: Since this part kind of sucks. I'll just type whatever I
can come up with as I go along. Okay? Okay. Run all the way right and go
down the hole. Flying kick the ceiling gun. Crawl up to the floor above
you the way you dropped in, and while watching out for bombs, grab an
extra life and some webbing. Go back down the hole now. Run by the
pummelers. Flying kick the ceiling gun and grab the card. Fall all the
way down the next hole and destroy the ceiling gun. Run right and climb
up the ladder. Destroy the ceiling gun and fall in the hole it made.
Kick the switch to give your cards color. Now, climb out on the right
side. Run right into the hole. Climb the ladder half way up and jump
left to grab the Yellow Card. The first card you grabbed was the Red
Card. Now, make your way left while watching out for the bombs. Grab the
Blue Card on your way. Fall down the hole. Run right and destroy the
ceiling gun but watch out for the shocker thing running on the ground.
Destroy the next ceiling gun as you pass a machine. Get infront of the
machine and press start. SELECT the Blue Card. Now run back left and go
back up the ladder. Run right watching for bombs and go up the ladder.
Run left, jump over the gap, fall in the hole, run by another machine,
and go up the ladder. Climb the ladder so you're still in the room but
on a platform. Jump on the first spinning disc, then on the second, then
jump down but while falling down hold the opposite direction you fell
because the Green Card is right beneath you. Get back to the ladder and
fall down. Run right and SELECT the Green Card the same way you did the
other card. Climb back to the floating platform and make your way across
the spinning discs. Keep going right and insert the Yellow Card. Run
left back to the ladder, watch where you're going though. Climb all the
way back up the ladder. Run all the way back right, watch out for
pummelers, they're a pain in the neck. Climb up the ladder, run left,
and fall in a hole. Go left and insert the Red Card. Now, get out of
there, run right, fall in the hole, run left watching out for pummelers,
fall all the way down the hole, run all the way right, climb the ladder,
jump over the gap, run right, fall in the hole, run left watching out
for bombs, fall in the hole, run right watching out for the shocker
thing, and fall in the final hole.
Boss: Can you believe it? It's not a Mini-. Venom is very tricky, or so
he wants you to think that. He'll block everything except for one move.
The frog kick. And regular kick but no one likes that kick. First, web
swing all the way left to grab an extra life and health. Fall down and
fight Venom. Remember, FROG KICK! AKA Crouch and Kick! Try to do it
close to him because he can throw a web that'll tie you up if you're on
the ground. You can get 1-3 hits in before he climbs up his web. So,
about 2 hits each time. He takes about 18-20 hits and he's only wasted
me by less than a life. But anyways. Good luck!
The Last Movie
New York's at peace and here's Venom and Spidey...
SM: NEW YORK AT PEACE.
SM: THERE'S A FIRST.
V: WE'VE GOT SOME UNFINISHED BUSINESS...
V: NEXT TIME, STAY OUT OF MY WAY OR I'LL SQUISH YOU LIKE A BUG.
SM: THANKS FOR THE FREE ADVICE, VENOM.
SM: BUT FOR NOW, I'VE DONE MY JOB.
SM: ...AND SOME OVERTIME!

5g. The Sewer
=======================================================================
=======================================================================
ACCESS POINTS
Level 1
-------
You know when you see the Flying Hornet and you go down the stairs? If
you go left instead of right there's a hole. It's right before you fight
Doc Ock.
Construction Zone
-----------------
In Part 1, if you over jump the part where you're swinging and you have
to fall onto the elevator, it'll bring you to some underground tunnel.
The first three holes will explode. The last will bring you to The
Sewer.
Coney Island
------------
The broken rocket that I said not to jump into.
J. Jonahs Penthouse
-------------------
After you kill the second Blue Baldy and run up the escalator, keep
running right until you can't anymore. Jump up into the background and
you'll fall down into The Sewer.
THE SEWER: ITEM COUNTER
I think it's the same on all levels. Here's a helper to clean the whole
room out though. Depending where you started, get to the Lizard. Fight
him, but once he turns into Dr. Connors, don't touch him!!! He'll take
about 9 hits. Above where you fight him is a health. Run right and break
open the canister to get webbing. From there jump onto the pipes to get
up to the top to get an extra life. Fall down to where ya fought the
Lizard. Kick the square canister on your left for another health. Jump
onto the pipe above you. Kick the square canister next to you for a blue
grenade. Now, go to where ya fought Lizard and fall through floors until
you're at the last one, right above the sewage. Run left. Fight the
Dogboy and kick the canister open for what I think was webbing. Go back
to where ya fought the Lizard and run left, fall in a hole, and grab a
green grenade. Fall into the sewage and run back to where ya fought the
Lizard, run left, fall in a second hole and grab health and an extra
life. Fall into the sewage and run left. Jump onto the elevator. Grab an
extra life, two webbings, Mr. Fantastic, and a blue grenade. Kick the
pipe that's shooting smoke at you to open a crawling tunnel. Grab the
two extra lifes and kick the canister open for the Human Torch. Run back
to the elevator and keep running left. See the KEEP OUT sign on the
wooded doorway? To get in there, get close to the left edge of the
platform. Jump straight up and move to the left onto another platform.
Run and jump left and if ya jumped onto a background pipe with a blue
grenade, you did good, now run right and grab The Thing. Once out of
there, run left still. Fight Hydro-Man. Keep running left. There should
be a big pipe, a little dripping pipe above it, and another big pipe
above that. Jump onto the dripping pipe, and then the second big pipe.
Break the canister open for Invisible Woman. And jump right for a blue
grenade. Now run right. This is also how you're going to get out of
here. Go infront of the boarded up door again and do the same thing as
before, just don't run and jump onto the pipe. Jump right and then keep
jumping up to fight another Dogboy. Above him is webbing. Kick the
square canister on your right for health. Run left and kick the first
quare canister open for an extra life. Jump over the second one and
break the third one open for I think webbing. Skip the next one but
break open the one after that for more webbing. Kick the next one for
more health. Then jump up and grab the extra life. Walk left and get the
last item here, another health. Jump up into the doorway and walk left
to leave. Any canisters I told you not to break, it was because they'd
explode.
TOTAL ITEM COUNT - 29
Spidey Health - 6
Spidey Life - 7
Blue Grenade - 4
Green Grenade - 1
Webbing - 7
Fantastic Four - 4
WHAT DO THE FANTASTIC FOUR DO???
Mr. Fantastic - As you're invincible, he'll bounce all around the
screen, then lay out a health, a green grenade, and a blue grenade for
you.
Invisible Woman - As you're invincible, she'll turn you into silver
Spidey.
The Thing - As you're invincible, he'll fall down and just start
jumping, making a lot of noise and vibration. I find him useless unless
I'm in a tunnel full of bad guys or something.
Human Torch - As you're invincible, he'll come flying in and incinerate
the place for a split second.
THE SEWER: SECRET ROOM (Spectacular ONLY)
While in The Sewer, run towards the left end of the stage (under the
Invisible Woman icon) and you'll see a large pipe. Crawl into it and
you'll enter the Secret Room. It kind of sucks. There are a bunch of
extra lives and some webbing and health, but it's made up of mostly
platforms that move in and out of the wall. And if you fall, you'll have
to fight the Alien Spider Slayer and then crawl into a large pipe on
your left that'll be just like leaving The Sewer. Your choice if you
want to go in it, but I never like it. If someone e-mails me with a
request for The Sewer: Secret Room walkthru I'll make one. It'll
basically be like The Sewer's, an item counter, but that's all you can
do there anyways.

6. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
=======================================================================
=======================================================================
Q: How long have you had SNES?
A: I believe since I was 5, so, about 9 years now.
Q: How long have you had this game?
A: Well, using common knowledge, I sort of stopped liking super heroes
all together 3 years ago, and I didn't start liking super heroes until 8
years ago, so I've probably had this game for about 4-6 years.
Q: On a scale from 1-10 what do you rate this game?
A: Considering it's on a lower-level 2D console, I'd have to rate it no
less than a 7.
Q: Why a 7?
A: Well, a large variety in villians will always catch my eye. And I've
come to like this game more than I thought.
Q: What did you like the most about this game?
A: Like I just mentioned, the villians. Games with just one boss bore me
fast.
Q: What did you like the least about this game?
A: Common SNES bad-points. Web swinging doesn't always connect when you
want, grenades are found useless most of the time. Just things that
wouldn't catch your eye or make you go nuts.
Q: What inspired you to create this FAQ?
A: There wasn't a FAQ for it. People still play it. And people who
haven't should.
Q: Is this the best Spider-Man game you've played?
A: Obviously I can't judge over graphics, that'd be cruel. I found the
newest Spider-Man video game very easy and quick, so, I'd have to pick
this one. Besdies GameBoy ones that are lost in storage somewhere I have
nothing to compare this to besides the N64 one, which kicked a lot of
butt, I thought.
Q: Is the lack of cheats a good thing or a bad thing?
A: I say, if you haven't beat the game atleast even on the easiest
level, why use cheats? I beat this game on Average and Amazing without
the Level Select. I find myself worthy enough to use the Level Select
for any purpose I may need. It isn't the lack of cheats that should be
pointed out it should be the one cheat that shouldn't be used as often.
Q: Do you use cheats?
A: Most games I beat before I can look up cheats so, only once in
awhile.
Q: Is Spider-Man your favorite super hero?
A: Yes.
Q: Why?
A: Even though he's been around for so long he's still noticed to this
day, which I can't say a whole lot about Superman, maybe Batman. Also,
Superman is from another planet and Batman uses toys to fight. But...The
Tick, there's another story. He has no abilities what-so-ever, I respect
that. Lol. But seriously, in the franchise of Spider-Man, a teenager got
a gift, and he uses it for the right thing. Plus, they still makes video
games and other media junk for Spider-Man, so he'll be a long-living
super hero.
Q: Do Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man have anything in common these
days?
A: Movies. They're making a Batman vs. Superman and Spider-Man just got
a movie. Yeah, it takes a Batman AND a Superman to make a good enough
movie as one Spider-Man. Also, none of them have their bio-parents.
Q: Why do you think Superman and Batman have all of a sudden become the
underdogs?
A: Superman was always ranked #1, some people saw Batman as #2, and very
little people saw Spider-Man as #3. Spider-Man has turned the tide. No
one wants Superman anymore because he's too old fashion. He's got a dull
costume in my view, and he wears a cape. No one wears capes anymore.
And, his disguise? He takes off his glasses. There's something that'll
put Where's Waldo? out of business alright. And Batman is more attracted
to younger boys. With the whole stalking in the night gig, a car named
after him, and revenge on his parents death.
Q: Let's get back to this game. Who's your favorite villian?
A: In this game? Scorpion. He's my favorite villian of all time, and he
doesn't get a whole lot of coverage in this game. Makes me feel bad. It
sucks that he dies in the comics.
Q: Outside this game, why Scorpion?
A: In the N64 one I found it hilarious that he was stalking Jameson, and
in the GCN one I found it cool how they designed him. It sucks though,
that between comics, different video games, and movies, they never look
100% the same. Oh well.
Q: Is there any villians that you didn't know about before this game?
A: Owl, Beetle, and Tri-Spider Slayer (if he even should count.)
Q: One last question. How long will it take for the Amazing and
Spectacular walkthrus to come?
A: I'll have the Amazing walkthru by August 4th hopefully, and then the
Spectacular walkthru before August 12th. I'm going on a vacation from
the 5th 'til the 9th so I'll have to work hard.

My grandmother for buying this game and system like years and years ago.
calikid for helping me out with The Sewer.

GameFAQS.com for having the one and only place I have and will always go

Anyone from the GameFAQS.com Message Boards that I've p'eed off. If it
