2. Introduction
=====================
Welcome to my Soul Blazer Walkthrough/FAQ. My goal is to make the most
complete guide to Soul Blazer on the net, so I'll be CONSTANTLY working
and updating it. This is not the first walkthrough I've written (others
are 'DarkSun 2: Wake of the Ravager' & 'Dave Dude'). I also plan to
write walkthroughs to 'ActRaiser' & 'Illusion of Gaia/Time'.
Soul Blazer is one of the simplest RPGs for the SNES, the first on the
Soul Blazer Trilogy (with Illusion of Gaia & Terranigma), and it was
the on that started me on the RPG world. It's perfect for a beginner,
but some expert RPG players may find it too easy. I've been playing it
since I was 7 years old!
Although I'm certain of all the information contained on this document,
I'd like to know if you spot any errors, or any suggestions you may
have.

4. Tips
=====================
- When a monster lair is pink, it's active, meaning more monsters need
to be defeated for it to reach it's green status. When it's green, all
its monsters have been defeated, and your character can step on it to
release a soul or open a passage. When it's yellowish orange, the lair
is sealed.
- Always seal EVERY monster lair you can. You can see how many monster
lairs are left on a screen by pressing Start.
- Always have a Medical Herb on your inventory, and equip it when
you're low on HP.
- If you KNOW you're gonna die, equip a Strange Bottle.
- Talk to everyone on the Town areas.
- Choose the Shield Bracelet over the Power Bracelet, until you get the
Super Bracelet.
=====================
5. Controls
=====================
Directional Pad: Use it to move your character upwards (North), to the
left (West), right (East), and downwards (South)
Start Button: Pauses the game, while showing the name of the area
you're in and how many monster lairs aren't sealed on
that area, if any.
Select Button: Opens the Equipment Menu
L & R Buttons: Hold it down to make your character "crab-walk". If
you're not on a town area, your character will stick
his sword out (oooh that sounded naughty ;-) while
crab-walking.
X Button: Opens the Equipment Menu
Y Button: Uses Magic, and exits the Equipment Menu if it's open.
B Button: Swings your character's sword, talks to people on the
town area, and selects what you want to equip on the
Equipment Menu
A Button: Opens your character's Status screen.

6. Story
=====================
Some of this text was taken from the Owner's Manual. ©Nintendo & Enix.
Wise men tell a tale late at night of a Great King destroyed by the
temptation of evil. The Freil Empire, as it was called in those days,
was ruled by a powerful man, King Magridd. It seems most people thought
the King was a fair and kind ruler. There were some, however, who felt
the King himself was ruled by greed.
One day the king happened to overhear two guards talking about a man
named Dr. Leo. Now Dr. Leo was considered by all to be a great inventor
and genius. The King stayed up many nights wondering how he could use
this great inventor to make him even more wealthy. All of the sudden
the King had an idea. He ordered his guards to capture Dr. Leo and
bring him to the castle at once! Soon Dr. Leo was brought to the
castle.
The King confined him in a room and ordered him to invent a machine
that would summon the King of Evil, Deathtoll. Dr. Leo finally
completed the machine. The King instantly called upon Deathtoll, hoping
they might strike a deal. After many days the deal was complete. The
King would bring Deathtoll all living creatures, and in return,
Deathtoll would give him a Gold piece for each.
One by one, all living creatures began to dissapear. Soon the world was
completely empty. Two people were watching this catastrophe, the
Master, and you, his follower.
"The King was very foolish to be tempted by Evil, however, I will give
him another chance. You must go down to Earth and Revive the World!"
The master said.On a Ray of light you descended to Earth... A warrior
sent to revive the living and punish evil.
A SOUL BLAZER!!!

7. FAQ
=====================
Q. Help, Help! There's a blue ball circling me and I can't kill it!
A. *Sigh!* That's the Soul of the Magician, you use it to cast magic!
"Friend, no enemy!" -Tarzan
Q. I've finished the Underground Castle. Now what?
A. Equip the Dream Rod found on the Underground Castle and talk to
Lisa, the girl sleeping on the house on the east of GrassValley.
Q. There's a monster lair on Leo's Painting and no defeatable enemies
around!
A. The MetaGrinner isn't defeatable.... yet!
Q. Where's the sword to kill the boss of GrassValley???
A. In Dr. Leo's Laboratory. Meaning you'll have to defeat it with your
little sword.
Q. HEY! I killed the Monster in the Paintings but I can't step on the
monster lair!
A. That's a bug that happens on the older versions of the Soul Blazer
ROM. Just reset your ROM and defeat it again... I hope you saved your
game before!
Q. I can't see anything on GreenWood except fog! or
Q. I can't see anything on the St. Elles Seabed except water!
A. That's a bug that happens because SNES Emulators can't handle
transparencies the way they should. Just set your VIDEO to Vesa 2.0 or
Vesa 1.2. If that doesn't work, disable sprite #1 (by pressing 1 on
your keyboard). Remember to enable sprite #1 before going anywhere
else.
Q. Waaaah, the rafts are mean!!!
A. Use the Dream Rod on a sleeping bird at GreenWood... There, there...
*hug*
Q. I've completed Blester, except for the Metal Monkeys I can't defeat.
What now?
A. Use the Thunder Ring you got from Lue on the yellow pyramids at
Blester. You can use the lightning to kill the Metal Monkeys, if you
attract them near enough.
Q. I SAVED NOME I SAVED NOME!!! How do I talk to him?
A. Complete the Mt. of Souls, dummy.
Q. I SAVED DR. LEO I SAVED DR. LEO!!! Where is he?
A. Complete Magridd Castle, dummy.
Q. Where are the Emblems and/or Red-hot Items?
A. Look at the Items Section.

8. Walkthrough
=====================
----------8.1 GrassValley----------
::::::::::::Trial Room:::::::::::::
Treasure: -Sword of Life
-Flame Ball Magic
You'll start off this game at the GrassValley Shrine, talking to the
Master. He'll ask you to choose your name. I suggest you type in
"Blazer" or "Angel" to keep in the spirit, but you can type in whatever
you fancy.
As soon as you can move, you'll notice there are 4 blocks on this
Shrine. The northern golden block enables you to talk to Master, save
your game and move to other parts of the world, when you can. The south
one takes you to the Town Area. The one to the east takes you near the
area boss. That one is blocked too. The western one usually takes you
to the middle of the level. Not this time, though. Since it's the only
one that's not blocked, enter it.
You are now in the Trial Room, a sort of practice level. First, open
the chest right in front of you to get the Sword of Life, your first
sword. Equip it (by pressing Y, A, A & X), and attack the cherry-head
on the corner. After you defeat it, another one will appear from
the ML (Monster Lair, the little pink circle). Defeat all of them and
the ML will turn into a green blinking circle. Step on it to release a
wizard (who until a couple of years ago I thought was a gorilla. :-/).
Talk to him and he'll explain he is an angel just like you. He'll give
you the Flame Ball magic, and join you. Equip the Flame Ball Magic and,
when you can, take a few shots, just for practice. You'll notice that
the flame ball flies in the direction you're facing. Very well, exit
the Trial Room and go south from the Shrine to enter GrassValley.
Uh-oh, nothing here. Go to the southwest corner and descend the stairs,
then go right to find a cave. Talk to the tulip you see and enter the
cave.
::::::::Underground Castle:::::::::
Treasure: -Medical Herb
-12 GEMs
-Dream Rod
-Iron Armor
-50 GEMs
-Leo's Brush
This is the Underground Castle, your first dungeon. You'll see more
cherry heads, kill them all but don't step on the ML yet. Go to the
northeast corner and slash at the other cherry heads from there. After
you defeat all of them, step on the first ML to open the wall then
step on the second ML. You'll release a woman.
Now go north and defeat some plant-pods to get a Medical Herb.
Watch out for the water slimes, who unlike some enemies, don't have
a ML. Go west and defeat some more cherry-heads, then go and talk to the
jewel fairy to get some EXP. When you're done, go north and defeat some
more cherry heads (using the rock in front of the bridge as a "shield"
and proceed north, then east. Defeat THOSE cherry heads, hiding behind
the two wooden pillars and ambushing them, then step on the ML, and
proceed south. Watch out for the geppers, get the 12 GEMs on the chest,
and proceed north to kill some plant-pods.
Go east and kill the bonguards, then go south at the first opportunity,
kill some bees and get the Dream Rod. While you're there, kill some
cherry-heads with the Flame Ball magic. Walk north, then east, then south
again. Step on the ML then kill the pods. Go south to kill some of
the bonguards and you'll open a shortcut to the entrance of the Castle.
Don't follow it, though. Go south and kill some more bonguards to
release a watermill. Talk to the elevator and it'll tell you the
watermill needs to be turning for you to proceed.
Go back to the town via the newly-opened shortcut, and talk to everyone
there. Help the mill-keeper turn the wheel, then go south from the mill
to find a cave with two chests and a blue jewel. Get the Iron Armor,
50 GEMs, and the EXP from the fairy. Also, get a Medical Herb at the
Tool Shop if you've used yours, and return to the elevator in the
Underground Castle. Ride the elevator, kill some plant-pods and go east
to another screen.
Start this screen by going north to kill some plant-pods, then north
again to kill some cherry heads. Go east then south, defeating some
Water Slimes along the way. You'll come to Stonehenge-like thing filled
with plant-pods. kill them all, then go south and defeat MORE water
slimes and a gepper. Going east, you'll see an infinity of mobile roads.
Follow the first one completely to the east and defeat the cherry heads
and the bonguards. Go back a little west and follow the second mobile
road completely to the north, then east a little, and stop at the little
"island" with some bees. Defeat those bees to release... another ML full
of bees. Defeat THOSE bees and release... ANOTHER ML full of bees.
Defeat some MORE bees and you'll release.. (yup, you've guessed it) YET
ANOTHER ML with bees! After defeating FOUR MLs full of bees, what did you
release? A goat. Yup yup.
Go back to the mobile road and follow it east, south, east and south.
Defeat some Water Slimes, go west, defeat some cherry heads, and
release... a ML full of bees. This is getting annoying. Kill those
bees and proceed west to kill some cherry heads and release a shortcut.
Now go back west a little and go south, follow the mobile roads east,
then a little to the north, then west, and before you get dizzy, kill
some bonguards. Talk to the Blue Jewel fairy and ask to return to
GrassValley. Whew.
Talk to everyone you released, (especially Gaudi, the architect), and use
the Dream Rod on Lisa. She'll be dreaming of her father talking to her on
the Underground Castle. Step on the ML, then talk to her, and she'll wake
up screaming at you to leave her house. Do so, and she'll ask you to
return. *grumble grumble* She'll ask you to get her father's paintbrush.
Ok, easy enough.
Go back to the east side of the Underground Castle, using the shortcut.
The pillars blocking the southwest entrance are magically gone! Follow
the path and go to the east to defeat the last plant-pods, then go back
to the west to open a chest and find... Leo's Brush! Yaaay!
Go back to Lisa's and talk to her. She'll tell you about her father's
dissapearence. Hmmm. Go to the house north of Lisa's and use the
paintbrush on the painting. Wheee!
:::::::::::Leo's Paintings::::::::::
Treasure: -Medical Herb
-Strange Bottle
Start by killing the birds in the first room. Go to the next room and
kill those fire-shooters (Be careful, those things are tricky!). When
you go to the next room, follow the moving carpet on the left and kill
those spear-shooting armors. Go back south and follow the path on the
right, and kill more armors, then go north for the next screen.
As you enter this screen you'll be attacked by more birds, kill them and
go east. You'll find a chest with a Medical Herb and a handful of moving
blocks. Kill them and go east. Kill the armors there, but don't even try
to kill the metagrinner: it's Metal and too much for your Sword of Life.
You'll have to come back later. Proceed east then north, and exit the
screen.
Okay this screen is FILLED with metagrinners so be careful. Kill the
armors that will attack you and go east. Kill those jumping blocks,
then go north to kill some birds. From where you are go west, south,
west, north, and exit the screen.
Follow the carpet north, and kill some armors while dodging the
metagrinners. You'll release a Shrine entrance meaning... it's
almost time for the boss... *gulp* Proceed north and go west at the
first opportunity, and kill those fire-shooters with the Flameball Magic.
Go back to the carpet and proceed north to kill some armors. You'll open
the entrance to the next screen, the boss. But don't proceed yet. Go back
to GrassValley for now.
Go to the southeast corner and talk to the little boy in a hut. He has a
treasure. Hmmm... Go to the sleeping tulip and push it to left. A pass!
Heh heh heh! Now go to the kid in front of a cave and give him the pass.
Cross the cave and get a Strange Bottle on the ledge. Get a Medicl Herb
from the Tool Shop if you need one, and let's go face the boss.
---->Boss: MONSTER IN THE PAINTINGS<----
To defeat the Monster, lure it to the far left or right, then walk
up the central conveyor belt sticking the sword up to hit it, and
repeat. Remember to have a Medical Herb equipped.
Difficulty: ** (Out of 5)
Well that wasn't so hard. Go back to GrassValley and talk to the Village
Cheif to get the Brown Stone (One down, five to go!). Get a Medical Herb
if you've used yours, and go to the Shrine. After listening to the Master,
go to the Yellow Block and select Move. Now go south to the next level,
GreenWood.
-----------8.2 GreenWood-----------
:::::::::::Water Shrine::::::::::::
Treasure: -150 GEMs
-Medical Herb
-Delicious Seeds
-Psycho Sword
-Strange Bottle
-50 GEMs
-50 GEMs
Another empty town. Darn. Go east to Lostside Marsh. Start by killing
the slime-men and the shaber that are to the east. then, go north and
follow the northern path to the west, killing the bushes with the Flame
Ball, and watching out for the shabers. Kill the slime men on the end of
the path, return east, and follow the southern path to the west then north,
again watching out for shabers. Kill more slime men, then go back south a
little and follow the path to the Water Shrine.
Start by killing slime men and shabers, right ahead. Then go east and north
to kill more bushes (aka the most annoying enemies EVER). Then, kill the
slime men you see with the Flame Ball, and go towards the west wall (Shaber
Alert!) and down the stairs.
Go north and kill more slime men and shabers, then cross the bridge to the
east. Kill bushes and TONS of shabers, and go east then south along the
water (Shaber Alert!) Go north on the other side of the water (Shaber
Alert!) and kill bushes to make some waterfalls dissapears, and get the
chest to the west (It rhymed!)
Go back east and south, then go west for some slime men and a blue jewel.
Get EXP, kill more slime men to the west, and get the chest containing a
Medical Herb. Go down the stairs to the west for the last and dark basement.
Go west then south and kill some bushes. Get the chest to the east, then
go back to the previous screen and use the blue jewel fairy to go back to
GreenWood.
Talk to everyone and go to the first mole hole on the right to get the
Soul of Light! Go back to the surface and enter the first tree to the right
and trade the Delicious Seeds for the Psycho Sword, which can freeze Metal
Enemies for a little bit! :-D Now go back to the Water Shrine via LostSide.
Now, from the now lit 2nd basement, go north and kill some slime men, then
east to kill some bushes. Return east and go north to kill more slime men,
then east for a Strange Bottle. Return west, go north and east again, until
you see a row of statues. Since you have the Soul of Light, you'll see one
of them is darker than the others. Slash and kill it. Go east then south
and kill two more statues, then continue south, east and south at the second
entrance. Kill the slime men to release a chest containing 50 GEMs.
Go north and exit this basement. Kill the statue and exit THIS basement. Go
west and get the shrine and the chest with 50 GEMs. Now, go north and exit
the Shrine.
::::::::::::Fire Shrine::::::::::::
Treasure: -Medical Herb
-Light Arrow Magic
-Ice Armor
-100 GEMs
-60 GEMs
Kill slime men and go east (Shaber Alert!) then south. Get the ML to release
a shrine entrance. Go north and west to kill a BIG flower, a shaber and some
bushes, and enter the Fire Shrine.
Walk north on the second path from the left, and defeat the lizardmen, to
get a Medical Herb. Then go on the fourth path and kill the lizardmen and
the smokes. Go back south and follow the middle path, but before you go down
the stairs kill some flame men with the Flame Ball. Then, descend the stairs.
Open the chest on the southeast corner to get... nothing. Darn. Kill the
lizardmen to the east, but watch out for the metal scorpions. When you're
done, go northeast and kill the smokes, but since you can't get it's ML,
just go north a little then follow the path to the west to kill some more
lizardmen. Now go to the south as far as you can, to kill more lizardmen,
but these are blinking, meaning you can only hit them when they stop moving.
Now, northwest of you you should see some smokes, kill them then go to the
central area (should be northwest of where you are) of this maze, and
descend the stairs.
Go west and kill some fire men, then go south (watch out for the fire trap,
only walk on it when it's grey... (For now!) Kill the smokes and go east as
far as you can, then go west on the fire trap, always retreating to the
safe areas when you can. Kill the lizardmen, then go back east and follow
the most southern passage to get the Light Arrow Magic from a fairy, and
choose to return to GreenWood.
Talk to everyone new in town, then follow the second mole hole from the
right to an island with a squirrel and a stump. Use the Dream Rod on the
stump. In it's dream, step on the ML then talk to the bird to return to
reality. Now go to the east of the big tree and follow the path north then
west to get the Ice Armor! Equip it and go back to the Fire Shrine via
Shrine shortcut. (Shaber Alert!)
Now, with the Ice Armor, you don't have to worry about the fire traps.
Go to the 2nd basement and go west, south, west, a bit south, and west.
Follow the first fire trap from the left (Don't worry about the statues,
they're harmless.), and kill the blinking lizardmen. Now follow the second
fire trap from the left and kill some more blinking lizardmen, then follow
the last fire trap, and go west dodging the metal scorpion to get a chest
with 100 GEMs. Go back and go north up the fire trap and west to kill more
lizardmen.Go south, then west, then north dodging the metal scorpions
then a bit to the west, then south again to kill fire men. Follow the path
and kill the lizardmen with the Light Arrow Magic, then continue south
then east to get a chest with 60 GEMs. Go west and climb the stairs twice,
then go east and step on the monster lairs. Continue east and descend the
stairs to get the ML from the smokes. Go back up and exit the shrine.
:::::::::::Light Shrine::::::::::::
Treasure:-Leaves from GreenWood
-Mole's Ribbon
-Shield Bracelet
-Emblem C
-Green Stone
Uh-oh, the rafts won't let you ride. Return to GreenWood (Shaber Alert!)
and find the bird on the graveyard. Use the Dream Rod on it. In its dream,
Step on the ML, talk to it and then to Turbo, and he'll wake up. Go to
the place where you saw him in his dream and get the Leaves from GreenWood
on Turbo's bones. Yipee.
Go back to the rafts (Shaber Alert!) and talk to them. Ride the first one
north, then the second one to the west, follow the path south, kill the
slime men (Shaber Alert!), go east, then south, and kill more slime men
(Shabe Alert! once more).Kill it, then go north, west, and before you enter
the shrine, step on it's pier then back on the raft to get a secret Blue
Jewel fairy. Go back east and enter the Light Shrine. (Bum bum bum....)
Argh those light walls give me seizures! Kill the fire men right in front
of you with the Light Arrow Magic, then go east and north to get some
lizardmen. Go east again to get smokes, but before stepping on the ML,
kill the lizardmen with the Light Arrow. Get their ML, then go north
(Watch out for the fire flies!), and kill some blinking lizardmen.
Go east then south and get that ML, then go west and kick some blinking
lizardmen butt. Go north then west and kill MORE blinking lizardmen, and
go north to kill fire men. Go south and kill more fire men, then south
again for some smokes. Go east and go down the stairs.
Dark. Hmm. Kill the blinking lizardmen on the northeast corner (Those
things are hard to see in the dark!) Go north, east and south and kill
more blinking lizardmen. Go south and west and kill blinking lizardmen
and fire men. You'll release a shrine shortcut. Uh-oh, almost time for the
showdown with the boss. Go west and north to kill some smokes, then go back
to GreenWood.
First, find a mole on the northeast corner, and take it to the third mole
hole from the right. When it is _standing_ on the hole and not following
you anymore, talk to it, then enter the hole. Get the chest and go to the
mole hole to the east of this one. Give the ribbon to the mole and talk to
the one behind it. You'll get the Shield Bracelet! Alright! Talk to a
squirrel on the eastmost tree to get the Emblem C and talk to a deer on the
southwest island and he'll pound on a tree, revealing a Blue Jewel Fairy.
Now, get a Medical Herb from the Woodstin Trio if you don't have one, and
let's go face the boss. *gulp*
---->Boss: STONE STATUES<----
Equip the Shield Bracelet and attack them in between their shots. After the
Water statue, wait for the puddles to dry up before approaching the next one.
When your HP is low, equip the Medical Herb.
Difficulty: *
Yaaay!! Go back to GreenWood, talk to the Guardian of the Woods and get the
Green Stone! Two down, four to go! Go to the yellow block on the Shrine and
slect "Move". Now go east to St. Elles.
-----------8.3 St. Elles-----------
::::::::::::Southertha:::::::::::::
Treasure: -Medical Herb
-Bubble Armor
Start by going south from the shrine, to the empty sacntuary. Hmm... Go
north and talk to a statue, then go back to the shrine and use the
western block. You're in Southerta, the first island.
Go east then north, and kill some monkeys with the Light Arrow. now go
west and kill some shooting trees. Now go north again, and east,
killing some monkeys along the way. Go south, kill monkeys, go west,
kill monkeys, then go north, and kill shooting trees with the Light
Arrow. Go around the water and kill more monkeys, then get the two MLs.
Go back aroun the water, and proceed to the east, to kill an eagle.
Keep going east to kill some shooting trees, then go south, west, and
north to get a chest. Go back to where you killed the eagle and go south.
Kill the fake rock and you'll release two MLs full of monkeys. Kill them
all and go south, then east, north, west and north, killing all fake
rocks along the way. Get the two MLs, and go north. Go east along the
shore, then north and west. Kill all shooting trees with the Light Arrow
and then all of the fake rocks. Lastly, kill the monkeys and return to
the Seabed Sanctuary.
Talk to everyone (especially the mermaid on the huge palace to the south),
and go south to the Seabed. Kill the giant unchin and the seahorses south
of you, then go up the stairs on the west. Get the ML to release a statue
and go back to the Sanctuary to talk to it. It'll open the passage to
Rockbird, a shore reef.
:::::::Rockbird, a Shore Reef::::::
Treasure:-60 GEMs
-Medical Herb
Go back to the Seabed, and proceed east to kill some jellyfish. Climb the
stairs to the south, kill the urchins and descend the southern stairs. Go
west and climb some more stairs, kill the jellyfish and go back down the
stairs to the south. Go east and climb the first stair from the right.
Go east and south, and kill more jellyfish. Go back west and north, kill
some seahorses, and go around all the plants through the north. Kill the
jellyfish, then go east and up the stairs to Rockbird.
This place has the most monster lairs than anywhere else. Start by going
northeast to kill some shooting trees. You'll dry up a lake with a ML in
it. Kill the monskeys in this ML then go southeast for more shooting
trees and eagles. Get the two chests, and go to the dried-up lake to the
east, to kill more monkeys. Go to another dried-up lake to the east and
kill some fake rocks.
Now go to the very northeast corner of the island and kill some monkeys
to dry up a lake. Kill the monkeys in the lake and you'll... dry up
another lake. Kill the rocks to dry up one more lake, and kill the
rocks on that lake to release FOUR monster lairs. Kill the monkeys while
using the Light Arrow against the shooting trees and you should ahve no
problem.
Lastly, go north from the lake you're in and kill more rocks to dry up
the last lake. Kill the eagle across that lake to release a Blue Jewel.
Get the EXP and return to the Sanctuary.
::::Durean, the Volcanic Island::::
Treasure: -Mermaid's Tears
-Strange Bottle
-Critical Sword
On the sanctuary, talk to the new statue, and you'll open the passage to
Durean. Talk to the angelfish on the southeast corner and you'll have the
Soul of Protection join you. Also, get the Mermaids Tears from the east
entrance to the big palace. No, go to the Seabed.
Go to the southwest corner. I advise you don't try to kill the metal crabs
yet, seeing as you only have the Sword of Life (too weak) and the Psycho
Sword (that will make killing them REALLY annoying). Enter the passage at
the southwest. and kill the urchin. Go north to kill some jellyfish, then
south to kill seahorses. Go west, north and east and kill some POWERFUL
sting rays. Get the MLs, and proceed northwest to Durean.
Start by going west to kill some monkeys, then north for some more. Be
careful with the metal monkeys on the upper ledge: They can throw rocks.
Kill the eagles to the west and keep going north and east to find fake
rocks that need to be killed. Keep going east then south to kill some
eagles, then kill the monkeys that will appear. To the north are some
more monkeys, and when you're done with those, go south and get a chest
with a Strange Bottle. Now follow the coast south and kill and eagle,
and you'll release some stairs.
Climb them and go west, avoiding the metal monkeys. Go north (Be

When you collect all 8 emblems, talk to the Blue Jewel Fairy to receive
the Magic Bell. Here are the locations to all emblems:
Emblem A
After you get the Zantetsu Sword, go back to Leo's Painting in GrassValley
and defeat all the MetaGrinners. You'll release, among other things,
an ivy that leads to a ledge apparently empty. But if you walk on that
ledge you'll fing the Emblem A
Emblem B
On the last torture chamber of Magridd Castle, northwest side, there's an
invisible chest you can open when the Soul of Reality (a soldier on the
third house from the left, bottom row) joins you.
Emblem C
On the same tree as the hungry squirrel, there's another one that'll
give you the Emblem C
Emblem D
Find a dolphin that says "Sit on my nose" at the Seabed Sanctuary, and
do so. You'll find a chest with the Big Pearl. Then, go to Lue's cell
and use the Dream Rod on a sleeping dolphin. Equip the Big Pearl and
talk to him. He'll move so you can open a secret passage at the St.
Elles Seabed. Go to this secret passage and enter the secret cave.
Defeat the enemies and you'll find 4 chests. One of them contains the
Emblem D.
Emblem E
On the wall south of the Shrine entrance on the Mt. of Souls, there's
a secret passage that'll lead you to a snail (if you've rescued him.
Otherwise, there's no passage). Talk to the snail to get the Emblem E.
Emblem F
After you release a sleeping mushroom inside a prison cell, go and use
the Dream Rod on it. Then, after the dream sequence, go to Lake Lune
and walk where the mushroom was standing in his dream. The Emblem F
will be there.
Emblem G
Push the chest of drawers in the locked room at Dr. Leo's Lab to the
left. You'll find the Emblem G.
Emblem H
After you release the castle, walk between it and the river on the
eastern side. The Emblem H should be there.
------13.2 Red-Hot Items------

get the Phoenix.

Monkeys. You'll release a mermaid who'll give you the Red-Hot Stick.
Red-Hot Mirror
When you get the Spirit Sword, go to the Light Shrine and defeat the
Fire Flies. You'll release a bird. Now everytime you go talk to this bird,
it flies away, so approach it from the back. It'll give you the Red-Hot
Mirror.
Red-Hot Ball
At the World of Evil, you'll see a chest bocked by several pillars.
After a little bit, you'll release a shrine shortcut. Go back to the

15. Secrets
=====================
THE PASS
This is a very easy one. You know there's this kid outside a cave next
to the mill who asks for a pass, right? And the other kid, the one
inside the clubhouse, always goes next to the sleeping tulip when you
leave his shack. And there's also the other tulip in this screen who says
she saw a boy hiding something underneath a tulip. Well, it's pretty
obvious the pass is underneath the sleeping tulip, right? Sooo... just
push it to the left!
THE SECRET BLUE JEWEL FAIRY
When you ride the last raft to the Light Shrine, step on the platform then
go back to the raft. It'll take you to a secret Blue Jewel.

Although it's hosted at Homestead (a.k.a. the slowest webhost
